Yay, qualified for this one sooner than I anticipated ... [0B80B8](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=0B80B8) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5C5PB/14649 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Within challenge conditions, my best day was on **2024-08-25**, when I found **25** different cache D/T combosTFT(Challenge)C

Finally!! This challenge has been on my list for too long. Green ticked it some time ago but only just got to the wetlands to sign it today. Yay, happy dance! On my way to GZ I had a little reminisce as my first ever challenge is very close by. Back then 15 years of unloved was a big deal to me. I now have over 100 more years on top of that! But back to this cache. This was one of those happy accidents for me, in which I automatically qualified without trying. Big bonus there. I call them caching gifts . Nice walk but I damn near stood on a snake and had a heart attack on the way. Luckily it was only a green one.

Over from NZ visiting and doing as much caching as other commitments allow. After attending a CITO on the northside this morning, decided to spend the rest of the day finding caches on my list that were in the area.My main targets were the challenge caches in Tinchi Tamba and I think I picked a good day, with a little bit of breeze, no mozzies and lots of kangaroos. A nice quick find here in the hint location. I don't qualify yet, with only 18 D/T's in one day as my best so far, but hoping to maybe get to 25 one day next year. TFTC

15-Jul-24
The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, geo-friends, bikes and coffee had me qualify for this one. I borrowed a bike from my brother-in-law. I rarely use a bike so using one to visit caches was an interesting novelty. The weather was flawless and death-bird season had not yet started, which made the day nice haha. Thanks for the cache and cool challenge Cheers

14-Jul-24
TripleTurmoil, elina_maree and I spent this afternoon caching at Tinchi Tamba. We found 16 challenge caches, 6 trads and completed the AdLab and bonus cache. It was perfect weather, the tracks were all fairly dry and there were no mozzies at all today, just heaps of kangaroos. We had to check quite a few trees before we finally found this very well hidden cache. I always think it's impressive when people manage to hide this container type in a tree so well done for that.I haven't ever found 25 caches in a day let along 25 different D/T combos so I certainly don't qualify now. But you never know maybe one day in the future it might happen. Thanks for the challenge and the great cache Fangsoki!

14-Jul-24
BrisyCat and Elina_maree were heading to Tinchi Tamba to collect a pile of challenges and invited me to join them. It was about a 3 hr amble through the spelling the month challenges and everything along the way. I was surprised to find that I qualify to log this cache. My qualifying day was a trip to Maryborough with Chamad for Australia Day 2022. We collected a lot of caches and swung by Tin Can Bay to get some more. It seems that the crazy day we had was well and truly worth it.

Found with Brissy Cat and TripleTurmoil on 14 July 2024 but dont think Ill qualify for quite a whilesigned log anyway; just in case.

Happy to qualify for this challenge!Found, with fivegk, on our final day of caching in Oz, on holiday from Canada. Love all the roos in here!!

Today was our last full day in Australia before returning to Canada, so karen rinora and I made the best of it. Lots of kangaroos keeping watch as we hiked along. Thanks for the challenge!

Sadly there is a very large roo who has passed away here. Currently smells quite strong. Signed but need to do some work to be eligible to claim the find.

Log was signed earlier in the year. The checker defaults to a big day of caching on the On Your Bike wherigo series in South Australia that I believe was set up so that all 81 possibilities were on offer. This particular day was a team effort, and there have since been two more days that would have qualified me since, again group efforts, its such a big series. Im not sure how to run the checker in such a way to exclude such days, but Im pretty sure there would be solo days where I would still qualify. Thanks for the challenge Fangsoki. [Otter61](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Otter61) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5C5PB/14649 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Within challenge conditions, my best day was on **2021-02-13**, when I found **62** different cache D/T combos

I made a list quite a while ago, in the hope of fulfilling this challenge. The list meant solving some puzzles, and then having the time to do the work.Shazzar66 told me she was having a day off on Tuesday, so I took the day off too and because Shaz didnt have any particular plans, I suggested we go for this challenge. I left home at 5:40am to head down the highway, picked up Shaz at 7am, and we cached until sometime after 5pm, with a quick stop for a light brunch and coffee. It was a good day. We found around 60 caches, with only three DNFs.Heres my list:Within challenge conditions, my best day was on 2023-10-24, when I found 25 different cache D/T combosD/TGC CodeCache Name1.0 / 1.5GC68GH9Say G'day #21.0 / 2.0GC6T1HEWeGeo #131.0 / 2.5GC96DM7Horse #09: This and That1.0 / 3.0GC95XKJHorse #17: Double Trouble1.5 / 1.0GC96EGBHorse #10: Bed Hair1.5 / 1.5GC43Y63The Last - Signature1.5 / 2.0GC96R8DYou've Got Mail #21.5 / 2.5GC96G16Horse #28 : Yay or Neigh1.5 / 3.0GC96263Horse #23: Morses for Courses2.0 / 1.5GC967XDHorse #40: Eye Spy2.0 / 2.0GCAFAXVOlive2.0 / 2.5GC96EEEHorse #27: Mister Mister2.0 / 3.0GC96R8GYou've Got Mail #52.5 / 1.5GC96DPDHorse #16: Read the Fine Print2.5 / 2.0GC96EGNHorse #44: Tweet Tweet2.5 / 2.5GC96DP9Horse #15: Horse Talk3.0 / 1.0GC96849Horse #08: Top of the Pops3.0 / 1.5GC50FCCGeography Lesson3.0 / 2.0GC97JR3Go Fish #3 3.0 / 2.5GC96CR5Horse #50: Trojan Horse3.5 / 1.5GC96EHXHorse #02: Who am I?3.5 / 3.5GC6T1JGWeGeo #234.0 / 1.5GC96EJ3Horse #12: Bucking Mad4.0 / 2.0GC966T0Horse #41: Amazement4.5 / 3.0GC96APCHorse #61: Whip CrackedDuppers](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Duppers) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5C5PB/14649 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Thanks, Fangsoki, for another fun Challenge.

Having only been to Tinchi Tamba wetlands once before, I still had most of the caches to sign. Willis007 was happy to join me as she had a few to sign too. It was a beautiful day, not too many mozzies and lots of caches signed. SL

This trip was amazing and so is this cache. I tried before to qualify for this on when getting all those caches hiking up Mt Walsh’s Pyramid at Cairns, but wasn’t able to get enough for this challenge. Now being down in Brisbane with such a great selection of caches it was no trouble racking up enough. Great one, thanks for creating this.

Brisbane and Sunny Coast, it is great to be back! I have lived here for a short period many, many years ago. At that time generally only caches at prominent spots or with plenty of favourite points attracted my attention. A lot has changed since then and I am all into the deeper caching stats since quite some time. Some years ago I wanted to put faces to names, so had planned to attend the local Mega Event and find numerous caches while being in the area. Unfortunately, the pandemic got in the way and meant that I had to cancel all travel arrangements last minute. This left me with a list of literary hundreds of caches, which included solved geoarts, caches that were worth getting to due to their old age or their rare type, challenge caches, or caches that would count towards filling my individual size and type D/T matrixes. Fortunately, this list that took months to prepare was not for nothing, as now I am finally back in the area, even if it’s just for a short trip. In the lead up to my current visit I updated my list and tried to streamline the route as good as possible to make the best out of my limited time. The grand aim aside of getting a couple more caches for filling my Jasmer calendar was completing lots of loops! This included completing my 4th and 5th overall D/T matrix loop and completing the D/T matrix using only mystery caches, and only micro sized caches and only small sized caches caches!! Of course the shabby weather couldn’t stop me from putting my plan into action. So, I am now very happy to log my find of this cache after all this effort. Thank you very much Fangsoki for creating and placing The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (QLD)! It certainly was a great trip which brought me to great caches and locations!

Thanks so much Fangsoki for putting out this challenge

My notes say I signed this one back in 2016 with Rho! I remember helping her plan her day out, but don't remember doing my own!! I am now met with the dilemma of when to date my log.. I signed in 2016, helped Rho with her day on July 2017, and no idea when I qualified! Checker tells me my best day was 19-Sep-2022 with 56 combos, so I guess I'll go with that date and hope it doesn't upset anyone!

Only yesterday we were celebrating our 13 years of geocaching and reminiscing about the many awesome caching adventures during that time. Countries we have visited, MEGA's attended, states and LGA's ticked off.

We visited Tinchi Tamba wetlands in August 2018 and signed the many challenge cache logs in this area hoping to one day, qualify. This was one that we believed would take some time to achieve.

On a slow day, I decided to check out the Challenges to see if we qualify and this was one of them. I have been busy with friends geocaching recently and getting big numbers so checked how we did and found that we qualified after attending the Townsville MEGA in April!!

Four years to finally qualify!! What an interesting challenge.. a fav point from us.

Yippee! We finally qualified for this challenge. I have been planning for this for some time and hoping to find the time, and on a whim last night we decided to continue on after our kayak caching and CITO, to find enough caches for this challenge. (log continued..... sorry, last one.... promise.....Red Face)

On the downside my knees were so, so done, but hey, there are drugs for that, right Fangoski?Razz and there was a big blister under my foot. Owie![B)]

On the upside, I got my final minions fitbit badge for over 32000 steps for the day, yay me!Big Grin Surprisingly we had no DNF's for the whole day which was incredible in itself, I had factored in an extra 1 DT and had a couple more up my sleeve if things went really south but thankfully not needed.

Now of course the main upside was of course finally qualifying for this cache. Once I had finally written up the logs for the day (and dropped more favourite points then I ever have in one day) and waited the time for project GC to update I could finally, finally see the magic green tick, Woooohoooo!!! Oh and apparently I can't count as managed to get 28 different combos, doh!Red Face

So I suspect it was better to wait a respectable amount of time before writing this log as to be fair I was a broken woman the day after and if I had had the energy to write the log then I suspect the CO may have blushed at the profanity directed his way for making me do this challenge (yeah, yeah, I know, I don't HAVE to do the cache, pfft!). I imagine even with the time difference that there was a certain amount of ears burning at certain times through the day when I may or may not have mentioned his name in less than admirable tones.....Twisted

For anyone who has read this whole saga thinking it will have any useful information on where this cache is atually hidden, ummmm, sorry..... go look at my note in 2016, sure that will have something useful in it.RazzMaybe..

With no further todo..... the magic green tick list......Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinCool

(log continued.........)

The worst thing from the morning on the canal was we had to walk past other caches in the series because, time people, we didn't have much of it and our eye was on the prize so to speak. I had prepared for this strange and unknown behaviour by deliberately not downloading them onto the day's list otherwise the pull would be too great, but really, walking past caches.... so not me, lol. At least they are along a canal and there are plenty more there for a good day still..... and it is flat.....Razz

Once this area had been drained of the unique DT's we needed we headed home-ish in a rather circuitous route to grab a couple more unique DT's I had spotted when I was planning that were kind of on the "way". We just needed to grab an extra car from home (and have a wee of course) Razz and then off we went to meet our friends. Didn't even allow time for a coffee at home (sorry Pprime if you read this Twisted) but I did allow a to go cup, I am not a monster!Surprised We dumped said car at the end of the next canal and zoomed into the parking coords right behind our friends, phew, timing perfect!!!

Now this next series to be fair was a challenge in itself for me as there was an awful lot of UP and down, and then more UP and down [B)]. Those who know me, know I am not particularly a fan of UP. The views were great and the weather held for the afternoon so that is always a bonus over here. It was a great afternoon with friends though, although the legs were complaining and the knees were shouting and saying haven't we done enough this morning already? There were no caches left behind here, because of the UP obviously!!!Razz We pushed on and a successful afternoon, the plan is working!Big Grin

Onwards to dinner at a pub while waiting for it to be dark enough to start the night cache series, it is a little late in the year for night caching as clocks have gone forward and it isn't dark until after 9pm now but I had been really keen to do this series with our friends and the caches were a bit too close to home so were going to irritate me on the map if we needed to wait until halloween![:o)] So suitably revived and premedicated off we set down a different canal to do the night caches.

This series of night caches looked great on paper and proved to be a super fun series, finding the caches were only the start of the fun as half were field puzzles as well that often tested our collective brainpower which at this point in the days proceedings might have been somewhat faulty! Walking the canal made our different stride lengths even more obvious with everyone else in our little caching party hitting close to 6 foot or taller with long gangly legs, my midget legs were struggling!!

We got stuck on 1 particular puzzle (and it was on my DT list, doh!!Surprised) and could not for the life of us work out what the code was to get in the darn thing, however the enforced rest was not a bad thing except the lovely British weather decided to come out in force and the drizzle started to get a little more. Thankfully a quick reminder of what we were already doing and some good ole paper and pen it then jumped out at me and realised we were all really, really overthinking it, doh!Red Face To be fair we were all pretty tired by now and flagging fast but we managed to get to the end of the canal finding them all including the bonus, yay us!!! We were also very relieved to see the car was still there so we didn't have to walk all the way back the canal to get to where we had left the other cars, lol.

With messing about with the cars back and forth and then driving home it was 1am before we got home and pretty exhausted, to be fair the dog was knackered as well and he didn't even move off the couch until lunchtime the next day!!

So.... waaaaay back in 2016 the 4B's, otherwise known as Landyman123, pinkducks, legoman9494 and myself went on a little stroll about the Tinchi Tamba wetlands signing a whole bunch of challenge caches and hoping to one day qualify for. This one when I checked then my best day was only 18 different combos so, not today sunshine as they say. Fast forward many, many years and after some issues with being a tad behind on logging (ahem, 4 1/2 years or so....Surprised) and having not really geocached for a couple of years with covid and life etc I thought I would revisit my challenge caches once basically caught up with logging and see where I was... ummm... still no further ahead... doh!Sad

But I had a plan, well not a really good plan just a plan to sit down and plan a day to qualify. So really a plan of a plan i guess!Razz (For those that know, I may be related to pprime but I am not blessed with his planning awesomeness) With not having geocached much a whole heap of geocaches have popped up around my general location so that was helpful and getting back into fun days we had set up an afternoon/evening with caching buddies to do a local series and also some night caches. A few days previous to this I was out with my geobuddy and had mentioned how I had this challenge cache that I really must sit down and plan a day for, then thought nothing more of it. So the night before our planned day out as I was loading the caches I noticed there seemed a lot of different DT combos and when I actually plotted them I had 18.... without planning.....oooh, well this seemed too good an opportunity to pass by as clearly achieving the challenge by osmosis had not ocurred over the previous 6 years, so, planning.....Red Face

I created a plan using caches close to where we were going but there were a lot of options that did not appear safe finds and I might cry if I had planned and then dnf'd it all away. So looking further afield (in the opposite direction!!)I found another series which had a good lot of different DT's and I had solved half of them already, awesome. Just needed to solve a couple more in that area, easy right? I mean they looked to just be jigidi's...... So the whole jigidi craze has come about while I wasn't caching so I am still getting used to it. And what I found that night was that apparently some unkind CO's have jigidi's that lead to jigidi's that lead to jigidi's and while I am not a star wars hater I am way less enamoured after doing multiple millenium falcon jigidi's Twisted[:(!]....... suffice to say 3am bedtime and all jigidi'd out but ready for our day to crack this challenge!!Surprised[8)]

I was dragging Landyman123, legoman9494 and geodig Buddy with me for this adventure, sadly pinkducks has grown and flown and my planned day would be something akin to torture so they were not joining in this merriment (in fact after it all there was a touch of censure in a "why do you do this to yourself" kind of way from them, sigh, judgy teens!!) Anyway we had the morning to crack on and get these extra caches before meeting our friends in the afternoon, so I was all ready to get going and then the other half mentioned he had to mow a lawn first...oh...so... not exactly off first thing as apparently mowing someone's lawn at 8am is not a thing. Impatiently waiting for the morning wet to lift and pushed him out soon after 9 assuring him they have kids so will be up already am sure RazzWink

Finally we were off to the first canal to grab the first lot of awesome puzzle caches and bespoke caches from a talented local CO, we do love his caches but first one we searched for took quite some time to spot which was not in the plan!! Thankfully after that we managed to make good time, up and down the banks, working out the field puzzles as we went.

able to log this one today because I saw a rather large when I put it through the checker. I just starting to really like challenge caches

This challenge had been on my mind for a little while, considering how and where to complete it. Then came the Dayboro horse geo-art with its great range of D/T combinations! We completed the horse and then found some trees to climb to fulfill the 25 needed for the challenge. It was a great day and a great challenge to complete.
Collecting challenge caches in Tinchi Tamba wetlands today, enjoying the walk spotting heaps of kangaroos and bird life. Once at GZ I narrowed in on the hide and using my spider web stick I tapped and heard the distinct sound of the cache. Nice camo used here. Definitely worthy of a FP, tftc and challenge Fangsoki

I qualified for this one in 2015 but it has taken me a while to travel the 2kms required to actually sign it It was surprisingly mozzie free here today and the stroll was really enjoyable. Great idea for a challenge. Thank you so much

I last found a challenge cache in Tinchi Tamba in February... I have visited here once between then and now, but on that occasion the wetlands were living up to their name and access was hazardous to say the least... the water almost over the road should have been my first sign on that day...

Cut to today... hardly any water alongside the road, and a different approach saw me reach the cache with little difficulty...

This is the first time I've seen this type of camo used on a cache... very good...

I'd come close with 21 unique combinations without planning, so to fulfill the requirements of this challenge took some planning... A crazy day out with friends who don't look at challenges, let alone plan whole days around them... And we don't normally cache for the numbers...

On my walk arround the wetlands today I stopped by and signed the log (13/10/20). One day I will do this challenge.

11-Jun-21
This evening, I headed north to Tinchi Tamba Wetlands Reserve. My aim was the completion of *Tinchi Tamba Wetlands* Adventure Lab, as well as checking out a few of the challenges that were scattered around. Much to my surprise, the cold and nippy night had scared off the mosquito hordes, as I didn't see any. Subsequently, I had a rather nice walk around the area, spending an enjoyable three hours under torchlight before departing back home for a late dinner.

I went off piste fro the main wetlands track, and took a walk around these challenges. I hadn't planned on completing these since it went dark reasonably quickly, however, with no mosquitoes around, I was enjoying my walk, and given my previous experience at other wetlands, then tonight was a rare night. My main torch started to go lose battery halfway around, and so I reverted back to my trusty iPhone torch powered by a power bank to keep me going. These challenges were quite interesting and a bit of fun, and I saw quite a few wallabies and kangaroos that were about trying to graze as the sun set.

I managed to walk from the main track through the trees and bush, and narrowed down on this geocache reasonably quickly. This camouflage technique appears to be quite effective, and a good find. I did spot a nicely sized huntsman spider guardian as I extracted the cache container. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. In addition, I managed to exchange TBs here by grabbing one TB, and placing another that I've had in my possession. Thanks Fangsoki for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I signed this cache along time ago. Have been thinking about this challenge a few times. Have come close a few times, but not plan at all. But this time I did kind of planned. I didn’t have a check sheet.
So had to keep a run sheet on the run. I keep double checking the list.
I ended up with 26 unique D/T’s yippee

About 14 months ago, in fact on January 21, 2020, we were in the area to sign the physical log for this challenge. It was not a challenge that we were seeking, knowing our own Geocaching habits, and did not think we would ever qualify for this one.
Occasionally, we do a check and see how we are faring with our challenges.
Today we had a quick look at this one, not expecting a positive result?? or a ?, and were most surprised to see that we have qualified. Nice surprise for the Domsky duo.
Our stats are listed here.
Thanks Fangsoki. Happy to meet this challenge.

Cache 7321 on 2 Apr 2021.

Finally, a real geocaching mission with an airplane flight, nights away, so many caches on the list and a road trip home! Flew up from CBR on 1 April with TikvaNZ to join Fox in Jox for a 5 day full-on mission centred around attending the Dayboro Mega event. Plan is to cache in around BNE, targeting old caches, virtuals, LBHs, crc CG Mmmm k nnn. Nnnn morning o. Nnnnnnnnn, DT combinations and anything else that takes our fancy and then start heading home Monday via as many counties as we can squeeze in. We have so many caches on the list we are unlikely to get them all, but we will try our best! Don’t care if it rains or snows - QLD here we come!

After grabbing a few challenge caches further north, we headed here mid afternoon for a bit more walking and a few more challenge caches!

Qualification: Within challenge conditions, my best day was on **2017-10-02**, when I found **49** different cache D/T combos

Thanks Fangsoki for the cache and the fun!

On a caching mission with AngelG27 and Fox in Jox from Canberra for the Dayboro mega. We were blessed with good weather. This was our second wander of the day. We were aiming for two particular challenges, but picked up a few of the month challenges along the way. A bit wet underfoot in places, and the mosquitos were terrible if we stopped for too long. Cache easily found. TFTC

According to [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5C5PB/14649 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") I qualified for this challenge with 48 unique D/T combinations oun in a single day (25 needed).

29-Mar-21
Originally signed the challenge cache on 18/3/20 and thought I would have to dedicate a day to go and get 25 qualifying caches in a day. I must admit I arranged my qualifying finds (from the day just over 70) in a list and had the numbers. The checher was a bonus that gave me the green tick.

23 of the 25 finds were the Dayboro horse head.

Thank you for setting out these challenges, Fangsoki.

With the junior DisSister off at camp for a few days, we hitched up the van and headed to Toogoolawah to grab some R & R and attempt to achieve this challenge. The weather gods were not kind to us, with a near constant drizzle but there was no way we were going to let that stop us. We travelled from Esk to Kilcoy and back, walked several kilometres of the BVRT, climbed slippery wet trees and finally finished in the dark.
With the tick of approval from the checker, I’m very happy to be able to now log this cache with these finds...

Out for a day of caching with swearah and krcamber to grab some challenge caches. This day has been in the making for some time now and today was finally the day. A beautiful day to explore this area and grab a few caches CITO was done along the way and many laughs were had. I have listed my qualifying caches below. The day we completed the qualifying caches was a blast, it was the day we chased a dinosaur through Dayboro on the 14/12/2019. It was one of the best caching days out I have had and I was joined by swearah and krcamber. This is one of my favourite containers to find in the bush, great hiding spot. Tftc Fangsoki

Jodsta83, Swearah and I have been working on these challenges for ages now and choosing a day to go collect has been almost as challenging! Today was that day and we couldn’t wait!
The day we qualified for this one was also a sensational day of caching out in Dayboro chasing Geosauruses! We had a beautiful list that Swearah was in charge of for the day to make sure we met all requirements for this challenge. The day was long but we were not stopping till we had nailed it!

Krcamber, jodsta83 and I saw this challenge before we headed out to get the Geosaurus art in late 2019 so decided to try to kill two birds with one stone.

I made a list & grid for the team and started ticking off the boxes as we went. This worked a treat until about half-way through when I realised I’d left out the first column. Oops – That could have been tragic! After a quick re-write, we were back on track.

Back out today with the ladies (well, close enough I guess ;-P) to collect the cache that made us hold our bladders just that little bit longer back in 2019, I spotted the great camo and signed the log for the team.

We had a great day collecting our 25 unique D/Ts and another great day collecting these challenge caches in the Tinchi Tamba Wetlands.

Thanks for all the effort that has gone into these challenges and thanks for the cache, Fangsoki!

On a Geocaching trip up this way with Barb2e. These were in our sights and managed to get them all signed but needed to check is qualified. So cool to have done these today and awesome I can claim it now. So many mosquitoes but I had covered myself with poison so was not bitten once. The walk was dry and not too difficult. But would be a nightmare in the wet. Awesome list of challenges. Dropped a trackable into this cache. Thanks for getting us out and about Fangoski.

Was in the mood for a walk when I woke up this morning and decided Tinchi Tamba would be the perfect place for it. We haven’t had rain recently and the mozzies were still coming up to full force so it was a most pleasant stroll. It seemed silly to walk straight past all these caches so we stopped in to find and sign each one along the way even if we don’t qualify yet. A most enjoyable morning. TFTC Fangsoki

WOW an achievement i worked hard to get, thank you for the challenge.

WOW! What an Epic day.

Several months ago (around March), I discussed with geonayfee how great it would be to complete the unique difficulty terrain challenge and also complete a personal challenge for ourselves of 100 local caches in a day, our previous best was 50 plus.

So with a lot of planning and weeks of solving puzzles we had an area in mind (Dayboro) and a plan was coming together. Oh this is not going to work unless we get some extra help, so I asked Willis007 and Team Tyrrell if they would be interested in our plan and would they like to be part of it. They both agreed and all was looking good until Team Tyrrell got called away for work. A discussion was had and we decided to still go ahead with the day, it just means a little extra work and an earlier start.

The plan was to complete, it was the three Geoart series and a few trads along the way as we passed them. We meet on the roadside outside Dayboro and proceeded to start with a few of the pacman series before heading west to complete the newly placed paddle caches (thank you), from there it was basically complete a section and get whatever, making sure we did not have to back track too much. There was a lot of driving and running to caches, the only thing that slowed us down was the time spent looking for ambiguous caches and hints that didn’t match the cache placement, but with multiple eyes looking it did help in finding the caches.

All in all it was a fantastic day, great team work and a lot of checking maps with some fun and laughs along the way. A big thank you to all the CO’s of the caches we visited, most of the caches were in good order, while I don’t remember all the caches, some did stand out, of those I have added a footnote below of the notes I took on the day, again thank you.

I was out yesterday with Willis007 and Chamad hunting down all the GeoArt caches in Dayboro. Our plan for the day was to complete them all and potentially complete this challenge to, so this morning I went through all my logs putting a list together and I finally qualify for this challenge.

I didn't think I'd be completing this one anytime soon, but after doing 100 caches yesterday, that put us well over the required 25 unique DT's to qualify.

Thank you for the challenging challenge. Log signed back on the 10/11/2019.

Out to Mark our names in a few logbooks this afternoon with Greatjustgreat. Left some friends fishing (correction, feeding fish) while we entered our names in about a third of the logbook in the area. Happy to have discovered these challenges, will help me be selective planning my weekends. Thanks for the challenges Fanksoki.

i heard about this one just recently
now to achieve it.

Spent another lovely afternoon wondering around among the roo's and mozzies collecting challenge caches this afternoon. If it wasn't for the pesky mozzies this place would be frequented more heavily.

Not ready to log just yet.

Oh wow, what a day!

I had dreams of one day completing the unique difficulty / terrain challenge. After COVID struck, there was ample time to solve puzzles, and before I knew it, I had solved enough to generate 25 unique DTs in the general Dayboro area that I could tackle (plus a few randoms thrown in for good measure).

After acquiring the services of a driver with a passion for planning (neeeeerrrrrrrdddddddd) a vague dream turned into a plan - and today that plan turned into a reality! But to put the icing on the cake - today is also the 20th anniversary of geocaching (blue switch day!), and, because we were so incredibly efficient (i.e. talented :p) at finding the first 25 caches for the day, we decided to one-up and go for 50-in-a-day, a milestone I had not yet achieved. Very epic! I am smiling from ear to ear. Thanks so much Pprime and OC for the driving, planning, COing and general PAFing that got me to this pretty awesome triple milestone.

Having now completed the drinking of the first celebratory wine, it is time to reminisce through logging. The day started at 6 am with coffee, and included a mandatory trip to the dayboro bakery for pepper steak pie (oooh yes, just perfect). All up a thoroughly enjoyable day, with beautiful blue skies, at times brisk winds, cool temps, and great company. Today, it became evident that I can't sing, but I do anyway, with reckless abandon.

Alrighty, enough rambling. While I signed the physical log on 21/02/2020, today I finally meet the logging requirements. A list of qualifying caches have been provided below.

Today I was invited out by hatzofff and friends to go north to these wetlands to primarily log the month challenge caches.
The whole place was infested with Spiders, Mozzies and Kagaroos.
I do not think I qualify for this yet but am going to use some of my time in self isolation when I get back to Austria to check it. If not, then I'll be working towards it.

02-Mar-20
A walk around the wetlands today collecting caches and filling logs for challenges. While there were no other humans around I was followed / stalked and startled by the huge numbers of kangaroos in the area, a couple even stood up to me, don’t like my chances against the big males. The mozzies were on the attack but a full can of bushmans was only a little consolation to these hungry buggers.

While I am close to completing it would be silly not to be ready and sign the cache for when the day comes. Easy walk around to find cache today. Thanks for the cache and challenge

Signed this log while I was wandering around Tinchi today. I don't yet meet the challenge requirements, but am working towards an attempt in the next few months.

Finally got around to popping out here for this cache, thanks to the 3,2,1 Go! souvenir hunt. Better prepared today with mozzie repellent, so made a quick dash in and out. Very few macropods around today, sadly, given there are usually so many. Here are my caches:

With today being a clear fine day, I thought I’d head on down to Tinchi Tampa Reserve to clear out a few Trads and sign the logs on some of the challenge caches in the area as well.

I spent a good 4 hours wandering the trails and I walked about 12 km’s in total (I’ll feel that in the morning) It was my first time coming here, even though I’ve lived in the area for the past 5 years. This is why I enjoy caching so much, it takes you places you wouldn’t usually visit.

The scenery was stunning, especially around the water and the amount of Kangaroos I saw was amazing! They would just sit and watch me until I got a little too close, then they’d hop along.

All in all it was a great afternoon hunting caches.

*** I signed the log, but don’t qualify TFTC ***

I signed this one when up in Brizzy for work. Was a long way off qualifying then. But with luck a series of 100 wherigos was published in SA with many different DT ratings so set out on a mission to qualify for this one.
I know now I have qualified.
Will add stats when back behind the desk soon.

The GLISS! family are in the Senior S's hometown to visit our family. I was able to get few hours free to collect smilies so headed here to pick up some challenges. I'll have to check the spreadsheet to see which ones I qualify for and will claim finds later. Lovely sized container. TFTC.
