It was too gusty to go for a bike ride this morning so I decided to head up and grab a few caches north of the City, mainly centred on the Adelaide Plains. If I though it was gusty in Adelaide, the wind up north was another level. But even more annoying than the wind were the territorial magpies. Normally they don't swoop me, but the magpie crew in Dublin were next level.Grabbed a few from the Prime Ministers' series, some recently published jigidis, the Dublin Adventure Lab, and a handful of random trads and multis I always like to leave a few dollars in country towns and I tried to do that today. I can highly recommend the chunky beef pie from the Two Wells Bakery and a pint of beer for $8.50 at the Mallala Hotel was a bargain. Unfortunately I couldn't get a garfish roll from the Dublin General Store because the kitchen was closed as a staff member was ill and couldn't come in. I wonder if that was code for "they had a better offer to watch today's AFL Grand Final."As I wanted to get home to watch the aforementioned Grand Final I resisted the urge to call into the Lower Light Hotel. Thanks to all caches owners.
TFTC. Down in Adelaide for some medical appointments & calisthenics comp . What else to do with spare time?? Cache of course! Happy caching and safe travels!
This weekend we did some random spontaneous caching in Dublin Jamesta18 birthday weekend I enjoy visiting cemeteries, this spot was tranquil and peaceful There was so much aloe vera around the cache, so pretty TFTC
Couldnt pass up the opportunity for a cemetery cache. We are fascinated by what you came find out about a town in them. Probably helped that we did the adventure lab first so we were familiar with some of the names of the district. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found it! Another cemetery ticked off, cache was quickly located, stamped and put back. TFTC!
I can't pass a cemetery cache and especially not a remote one. I hope I didn't disturb anyone here. It's quite windy and other than some Honeyeaters the place was deserted. TFTC
TFTC Tk2 your cache Don't disturb Roy that we found today. We have moved on from Bute and now camped at Parnham. A late afternoon run out around Parham and out and back to Dublin. Found everything we attempted.Last for the day as we make our way back to camp.Find Count: 18189
Found by Mary and David at 10:25. A FP even before M got out of the GeoPrado. She loves exploring cemeteries for the symbolism of the older headstone designs, and the social history in the epitaphs. She could have stayed here all day. Have never seen large marble chess pieces on a grave before. Our thanks to Tk2.
After completing the Unicorn mystery series and turning a good amount of the PSA series into smiley's, Jolly0, Peas&CarrotsForever, Geo-Cleo and I headed for home, not before finding one more cache..than another...and another... TFTC AussieGal88 South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Let's show the rest of the Geocaching world what Australia is made of at The Great Leap Forward!
Just because its getting a little dark doesnt me you stop looking for caches!! Heading home with AussieGal88 and Peas&CarrotsForever after a fun day searching for Unicorns and Premiers and a tasty BBQ lunch.Only silly people wander a cemetery at night time.We did our best not to disturb Roy or any other residents this evening.TFTC Tk2Keep smiling
Enjoyed exploring the cemetery and reading the history. May all who are lost never be forgotten ️
Spent the day doing a family history tour with Mum around Hamley Bridge, as my grandfather was born there, plus finding caches along the way.

It’s wet and miserable in Adelaide this morning so no bike ride for me……..instead, why not head North for a day trip and see what caches I can find along the way. At least there’s some blue sky and a bit of sunshine peeking through
A quick find, stamp and return here today

Had some time on my hands today so decided to do a solo run to pick off a few pesky caches I always drive past and see on the radar but not have time to stop. No such problem today and no problems, I didn't disturb Roy.

Hint was initially confusing but produced a smile of understanding at GZ. Thanks for bringing us to another interesting and well kept location.
Wandering down to take a look at Thompson’s and Webb’s beaches. No need to disturb Roy as I headed over to this cache. Interesting plaques at the entrance.

This evening following a work meeting up north, I decided to head a little further to visit a few small towns and get out for some exercise, after being cooped up working from home earlier in the day. Consequently, I called into Dublin, Thompson Beach, Parham, and Webb Beach, before heading home as it was getting dark. It was probably a little further drive than what I was anticipating, but it was still cool to be 4WDing along the beaches, and jogging around various parts. I enjoyed seeing the makeshift tow vehicles from collecting their boats at Parham, and it's a must-see unique sight!
A nice interesting graveyard visit, with the cache found within a few minutes. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Tk2 for the cache hide and maintenance.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Quick find. Roy sound asleep in the cool shade of a beautiful tree, so we did not disturb him. thanks for the hide Tk

Headed North with LiB on this perfect caching day...Port Parham, Dublin, Mallala, Balaklava, Port Wakefield and many off the beaten track spots in between...we stayed out well into the early hours of the morning as the night was warm and well lit...
We did not disturb Roy but soon had the cache in hand after looking in the same spot twice...

As I have previously found this cache I'm doing a TB visit while headed north to do a spot of maintenance, retrieve a series and find a cache or three with hevwalker.
Checked on this again on way back from holiday and it is still all good.
Just because you can't find it doesn't mean its not there.

Sorry, did not find it anywhere near the base of the tree or in the tree, maybe muggled or i am blind
Out on a lovely day with Mr Cupcake and IcingOnTheCupcake. Unfortunately we didn't find this one today. Found Roy but not the cache.
Out with IcingOnTheCupcake and Guz's Travellers. Unfortunately we didn't find this one.
This arvo I headed out after work to try and find enough caches to get to 8000.
Mission accomplished.
What a fab afternoon it was, love country caching and today was perfect for it. Not too hot. Enjoyed the scenery and finding lots of regular sized caches. Even better didn’t encounter any snakes or other scary wildlife.
Unfortunately had to stay back at work for an hour so didn’t manage to get to all the caches on my list but that didn’t spoil the afternoon.
Now hoping my Pies can win this last quarter then this will have been a real good day.
This was my second find of the day and was quickly located. We do like a cemetery cache and this was one of two done today. TFTC

The last day of our four day geoadventure with Rapidlywild on the Yorke Peninsula. After a big couple of days/ nights, the bodies were tired, so no big numbers today, just a meander back to the Adelaide collecting what takes our fancy along the way.
A bit of a journey through the back streets to visit Roy...some lovely memorials here.

Well, what a weekend! The FFLL ladies and myself decided to head over to SA to tackle the newest installment of the Fishy Tales caches, the Gone Fishin' series. Having a long weekend presented to us, and a day extra, we had a big task at hand to get them all done, but we did! There were many tears of laughter, exhausted bodies each night, and plenty of caches found. We even managed to score ourselves a few Earthcaches, Virtuals and even Webcams along the way as well as me passing my 10,000 find
Trail now done, we decided to tiki tour our way back towards the city grabbing a couple caches and going for some virtuals and webcams. We didn't disturb Roy, however we did find him. We were quite taken by the smashed glass coverage on some of the graves, its actually quite effective... just needs to be sealed to prevent the glass being blown out.
Thanks for the cache hide Tk2 and a very special thanks to the FFLL ladies for an awesome fun filled adventure away Looking forward to the next adventure.

Today we are going solo, no towing, so we took the opportunity to head down a few roads that we would not take the caravan down due to bot knowing if we can turn around and if there is enough tree clearance. You are right this certainly is a lovely cemetery, there are quite a few news houses growing here, we wonder if they will ever wonder about the popularity of this cemetery. SL TFTC
On the way to Perth - detour, wander this area, found it and signed the log as EV. Thanks TK2 for the cache and hunt. .
We didn't disturb Roy, but I do love visiting cemeteries, and this was a really interesting one. A quick wander around and then we headed straight to the cache....the newbie in our group lifted the correct item and the cache was revealed.
The log was stamped "Fabulous Randoms" today for ease and to save room.
A very average day weather wise, but a great day with our secret squirrel friend who jetted in....
The lovely Feathertop joined TheDame and I on a short run out North. Our focus was to collect the caches that we usually 'fly past' but say "we'll grab those next time" - well today was that day, and a handful of great caches were found.
Lots of laughter and fun was had.
Thanks so much for placing this cache Tk2! [^]

A fun girls day out with GoodLook and Feathertop exploring this wonderful state we live in.
I was part of 'fabulous randoms'.
Thankyou for the geocache.

I was over here for work yet again and as usual I jetted in on Sunday morning.
It was a really warm morning and a bit spotting with rain, not all that nice actually but I was in Goodlook and Thedame's company so I knew I would have a good time despite weather.
In all we visited around 25 caches around here, I had 17 new caches to my name at day's end including this one.
I would love a dollar for every cemetery cache that I have found! Thanks Tk2

Why is it always in BBB territory ? Roy didn't get disturbed and i didn't bleed.

Port Wakefield to Mannum, approximately 150 kms or 1.5 hours; for non geocachers that is! We stretched both the time and the distance considerably and had great fun collecting some smiley tokens along the way.
We found this innovative hide without disturbing anyone.
Thanks to 'Tk2' for the hunt and cache placement

Must be a fragile day for me. Went in and chattered to Roy and we solved the problems of the universe then I went wandering and saw a lone grave over in corner facing the morning sun... And promptly cried... real tears.. All on his own away from everyone was a little six month old interred a long time ago.
Cache wet on the ou5er cos of recent frosts and rain but in its spot.. Maybe time to change cache holder over cos it's rusting?. Log is dry

It's odd that it was easier to find the cache than the cemetery! Roy was not disturbed in the finding of this cache.
