As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
This is officially gone - the camouflage is scattered and the cache is missing. See previous logs.
Looks like this one has gone missing. Will investigate next time I'm in the mountains.
Interesting log before cause all I can say is, nice pile of rocks and whats with the syringes?
Well i came across this cache while down in the cave at mobbs swamp, by the sounds of it its meant to be near narrowneck. So not sure whats the go there.. Sorry if i got confused or am wrong. I don't have a GPS and had never heard of this Geocaching before. Cheers. JC
We found this mid morning and we were glad to make it a quick find. It was absolutly freezing - so freezing that what looked like a puddle was infact frozen.
Cheers.

Found this one with smokey88 and big mick. it was too cold to crack open a long neck so instead we headed off for a walk and coffee. TNLN
Drove to lookout walked to the escarpment too find plenty of bottles and needles but to my disapointment no cache
Easy peasy for this cache in the mist and fog. Drove almost to GZ then popped out of the car to grab the cache and back into some warmth. Thanks.

We had a bit of a scramble top and bottom of the 'escarpment' before the GPS behaved itself. No trouble in finding after you're in the right location. Took and left nothing on this occassion. TFTC
Easy find on our quick geoing trip to the mountains. Found cache straight up in the dark. Took ice scraper and Left TB.
Seventh of eleven finds on our very early morning Blue Mountains cache run. TFTC!
Nice little drive in and a quick nearly drive by find. Pity that someone decided to throw out their domestic rubbish on the way to the cache. Great view. Took hotel shower cap and left rabbit toy. TFTC.

Our second try for this one - last up this way about 6 months ago and wow, do we feel really stupid now. We must have looked at every hidey hole last time except the obvious. Its weird how you can overlook things when you its right in front of you. Anyway, nice to visit this area again despite the immediate area looking like a rubbish tip.

Me, Harrip and NeutralGuy arrived at the lookout, there were muggles, and looks too dangerous to climb down on a slippery rainy day. So we had a doublecheck on our navigation GPS, and found another route which turned out to be lot easier to get to GZ. Found the cache easy enough, and found the most bizarre item in the cache. A passport photo of someone, so I took it, and replaced with a tigger hairband. signed log. TFTC!
Enjoyed the drive to the locked gate at the end of Narrow Neck (and back) with the added bonus of superb views of the cliffs at sunset. Thanks "stubby holder" for placing this cache and giving us the excuse to drive along this road again. This was the last cache of the day for us and our friends the "ozziemonkeys" from Queensland. Now we're all off to Blackheath for some pies and some drinks at the pub!
An easy find - so easy, Webguy Jr handed it to me. The area is not very nice though, littered with rubbish such as computer monitors and fluro tubes. Took the RFDS TB away from the mess.
06:20 Hrs
We were all very tired after a full day out, but Webguy shoved us out of the comfort of the car to grab this cache. We were just too close to pass up the opportunity.
It looks like the “Clean Up Australia†crowd missed this area. There was nearly enough hardware to assemble a full PC.

3.55pm - first approached from the wrong angle, then realised our mistake. Took a long drive down the road and back for fun as in a 4wd. TFTC - nice hideaway. Didn't take TB as he wants to travel Aus and not go overseas - going by our luck this would be the last we find here.
Great spot, easy find. Found with a group of mates as we headed off at lunch from Men's convention just up the road.

Came here the previous night but had no luck ! During the daylight we found this one easily ! After finding this one we headed off for a couple of long necks ! Ahh ! Took nothing but left the cache doctor ! Another cache gets a check up !
We tried to find this cache last night in the dark but had no luck. We returned today and geoson found it quickly. Took the Policeman TB, left Cristovao de Mendonca geocoin. Great views of Long Neck from location.
nice hide ... we dropped off Travel bug Errol and Geocoin

On the way out of narrow neck after trying some other caches I needed to find an easy one.

Missed this one, approached from the south, found the going difficult. Climbed up until the GPS read 0m to cache. Had a pretty through look about but the only thing that looked like a cache was a needle safe, pretty dissappointed really.
Another find for today, 3rd one along my cache hunting trip. Easily found around 3pm, it was exposed quite a bit, so I replaced it with more covering. TNLN
Took two tries to find this one, the first time I had a great view but on the second attempt I found the cache. TFTC From USA but living in China
Slid down the hill and poked around for a while but no joy. Found a handbag with some cards and things in it though only a couple of metres from GZ. Dropped it in at the police station on the way out. Scratched to bits, might give this one a miss.
This was my first of only three caches for the day. Its in a great location and a very easy find. My GPS wanted me to keep walking a bit further, but the location of the cache was obvious. No swap was made. Thanks for the cache, and for bringing me to this wonderful spot.
Found this cache at 11am. on a wet and foggy day.A nice easy find with just a little walk in the bush. The wild flowers are just starting to come out, and are simply enjoying the rain.
Staying nearby at the C.M.S. Conference centre with our Vintage Car Club, so decided we could fit in a couple of cache in the area.

Tried to approach this one from both above & below, but being rated 1/1 was looking for something that was quick & easy. (supposedly wheelchair accessible??) The GPS was putting the GZ well beyond what looked likely, so we gave up quickly with limited time available.
This was a nice quick easy find. Mick and Jeanette did a great job on the restoraton of this one.

Time: 1400hrs. We found this cache last weekend and it was wet right though. During the week we purchsed a new container and today we replaced the old one. Unfortunatly the log books could not be saved. We salvaged what ever we could and the cache is now as good as new.
Enjoy
Mick and Jeanette
PS We took the Bibra Boys Finder card series 3 (no 8 of 10)and will move it on.

[Found at 1625hrs. Took a while to locate this cache.] We later discovered that no climbing was required. [The plastic container is damaged and the contents were wet. A replacement cache container and some fresh contents including a logbook would be good. TNLN and made no log book entries.]
[Hi, found this as 5th cache of the day.] We first made the mistake of coming down from the top!! which turned out to be rather challenging. [contents were very damp though. TFTC]
Yep it certainly helps to read the logs.put a new plastic bags over the cache.contents and logs are very damp

Had a little trouble finding this one. Tried coming in from the lookout above only to find there was a cliff in the way!! GPS was giving funny readings may because of proximity to cliff line. The cache is in bad condition with contained cracked and contents getting wet. Pen was stuffed so left another. Really needs bigger container as present one not big enough for pens.
Tricky spot, great views as the mist cleared after a storm went past and the clouds were rising over narrow neck.

Must remember that 1/1s don't require 50m of scrub bashing down steep hills. (Use brain instead of legs). After some confusion we had it. Pen needs replacing, sorry didn't have a spare to leave.

Our second Cache- This game could be fun! Great location to show people the spectacular views on offer in the blue mountains.
We tried to find this one last night but there was a couple cooking tea in the car park so we decided to leave it and come back today. Came back early morning and the same couple had decided to camp there but where still asleep. We started to search in the fog and drizzling rain, searched for about 15 minutes with no luck and with the GPSr being less than helpful and the raining starting to get a lot heavier we decided to call it a day and head back to the car. Unfortunately with the fog we didn't even get to see the view that may have been on offer
Dropped in to launch our last new travel bug but changed my mind when I saw the condition this is in. Container is holed, nothing but garbage inside, needs replacing asap! Sad really because it's a popularm cache.
Parked within 40 m. Had this one in a few minutes. Unfortunately the contents included about half an inch of water, which we emptied. The log was still dry. TNLNSL.
Geo kiddys found cache quite quickly dispite light rain around 2pm
Filled in log and replaced cache quickly and didn't read log so don't know if we were there before or after FunnyNose

I was in the area so I dropped by to say fairwell to Pug the Travek Bug. All is well and safe with the cache.
Well after a very very long walk including walking UP the Golden Staircase...we happened right by this cache so we had to find it!! We searched for a while when we realized that our friend was right on top of it the whole time!! We saw some magnificent views in the area. Thanks for the cache.
led astray by the gps!! decided on attack plan based on previous logs. unfortunately gps didnt agree with thi splan!. failing to find the cache we ignored the gps and went back to our original plan with immediate success. took billy goat travel bug.
An easy one to finish off our days caching. A scenic area. Left golf ball and took oil. The container side is cracked but we put it in a plastic bag. Thanks guys.
Found under the watchful eye of EnderRoving. As we had held on to Misery Goat for so long we thought we'd make up for it by taking him as far as possible! From South Wales UK to New South Wales Oz! Nice track along the ridge from here with good views.

Took Bexxx To the area so she could find this one and left the travel bug that we have had for ages. The container has a crack in it and we did not have any bags to put the contents in. maybe a new container is needed. Still a nice cache.
I'm pretty sure I found this one, the box was different and the travel bug wasn't inside. I put the numbers in right. Did I find a different cache though? someone help me out.
@ herbertplant: yes, you might fount the correct one. We collected the TB on Nov 17th, but only today got access to the internet! Sorry 'bout that.
Anyway...

Our first find in NSW (we are from WA). After a weekend camping in Blue Mountains NP decided to hit some caches as visibility around Leura Monday about nil. We also had 6 travel bugs from the West to drop off.
We approached from the top and walked awkwardly through the bushes..the GPSr didnt really show the cache over the ledge...not that we saw that til later anyway. Decided to give up and approach from a different angle, pretty much with instant success.
Signed log, left calling card and TB Sustainability (which caused some probs at security at Perth Airport).
Thanks for the hunt.

Nice stroll from the car as a warmup of more to come. Left figurine & took magnet. Burkle actually found this cache before me, so congrats to him for the find - not bad for an 8yo
After a failed find in June I had the opportunity to stop by while hosting relos from the UK for a day in the mountains. Same tricks played on the GPS as last time but knew where not to bother looking this time which resulted in an easy find. TNLNSL

I tried to find this cache from above but was stopped by a small cliff. A second attempt ended in a find after parking 20 mtrs away. The container is quite full, and also cracked on the base. Some moisture has gotten in. TN,LN,SL. Thanks to stubby holder for the cache.
The first cache for my birthday. Found it fairly quickly. The cache needs a little bit more love than I could give it. The logbook was full so I added a new notepad. The container also has a larger crack in the bottom which I wasn't able to replace. TNLN, thanks.
took me 3 tries, (2 were today) after entering via the carpark /lookout and bashing through the bush i realised i must have been in the wrong spot as the 1 star rating jut didnt work, so with a quick message to the master distillers hotline i was pointed in the right direction and is wasnt long before i found the cache, with the 1 star rating.
however the cache is cracked at the bottom and apart from the log book everything seems to be pretty damp and mouldy so it could do with a new container.

Our third for the day this one mucked us around a bit. we were in a few metres of the cache when we thought we should approach it from the other direction. we soon realised our error. the hardest part about this cache was doing it back up!
The ocky strap has cracked the bottom and water has got in. we tried it as best we could but didn't have anything to do the job properly. Note book totally full so left our log on a bit of scrap paper we had.

Dropped of travel bug. Found bug in beginners cache and thought this one would also be good for a beginner to find.
Very easy find. Co-ords spot on. The slightly unnatural rock cairn also helped. The retainer on the cache itself took more time to put on than the find and replacement .

great place will someday like to cycle to point. but am happy to get another cache.
A well weathered cache, found without any trouble. TNLNSL. Thanks Stubby Holder. Regards Philma.
found a fosters beer can. It is blue and white also. Hubby EBP thought he had died and gone to heaven. Found it after a nice trip. Well hidden but easy find. Good work.
During our school holidays Team EBP and Team Scaryfluff decided to seek a few caches. And we found a few. This one was easy (when we found it) but Male Team EBP and i thought we would get to it from the small but bone brakeable cliff above. We didn't.
The log has the best comment. It was found by a council worker taking a piss, and they politely commented that they found it and took nothing.
Great spot and we had a few drinks and biscuits further up the road to see more of the terrian.

This was realy fun as my younger sisters came along and learnt to use the GPS... and look.
The third one we (where's_wally and myself) have conquered today, however the log book is almost full so if you are looking at going to this one, take a spare notebook to throw in.
well placed too, but using the gps properly we found it relatively quickly.
Thanks, i think im entirely hooked!

This is our third cache bagged in a very casual afternoon. Not much more to say that Sami_search hasn't already covered. Quite a treat to see Sami's young sisters learn to use the GPS and to really enjoy the outdoors.
As mentioned, the log book is full. We labelled the book so that the back pages can be used. A new log book would be good. We have some friends who want to get into geocache, so might send a new log book out with them...

Tried from the obvious high side but recommend that this be avoided. The climb down was a nightmare and the climb back up, being cacheless, was worse (especially when you could see the cache location, but couldn't get to it). Once at GZ, cache was easy to find.
2nd cache for the day.
Found this one after a little bit of looking. Came at this cache from the right direction, but after looking for a bit with no luck and then reading "Base Campers" notes decided to come at it from the wrong direction. Spent half an hour looking before returning back to our original position and finding the cache. Pheew. Left nothing, took nothing. Spectacular views from the top. Nice one stubby holder.
