Another beauty spot. They were working on the bridge today. Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks dghoffy and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! Some logs signed as TAD as teamed up with Tenkae and Deanside for additional fun. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
This was way quicker than I expectedwalked straight to it Caching around on the road trip that encompasses Barrington Tops, Sydney, the Easter Geobash Mega in Canberra then the return via who knows where to homeThanks dghoffy for contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
After a long search, listening to the sound of cars on the bridge, I made the find. TFTC.
Back on the mainland, after nearly 3 months in Tassie. So nice to have avoided all the excessively hot weather.Slowly heading up the east coast. Grabbing a few hides along the way. Found after a short search but still there. Thanks dghoffy for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Found at 1757 hrs. This was a bit tricky but, like a previous finder, I spied it just as I was about to give up. TFTC.

Staying in Bermagui on a fishing trip. Weather has been pretty ordinary on the fishing front, so geocaching it is. DNF here last visit, a quick find this time around. Few people out enjoying the lake.TFTC!
I just called times up and the kids where scrambling out, when I noticed it's little hidey hole.
A lovely spot with a few fishos about but with so much rubbish about only lasted a few minutes but still checked a heap of places, no smiley today.

Spent a good 15 minutes hunting for this but it still eluded me so time to move on. Perhaps another time.
While staying in the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
This took some time, yep it is still there in its hidy hole, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Amazing spot, saw the most unusual rainbow whilst here. Gorgeous spot a rainy day the sun breaking through clouds, stunning!A wee bit of bush bashing as GPS all over the place but soon found with cjd79. TFTC
A nice quick and easy find after a short stroll. The logbook is incredibly saturated due to all of the recent rainfall. It will need to be replaced
A great day out on holidays enjoying a lovely Devonshire Tea at Tilba Tilba and a walk along Mystery Beach.
We decided to stop at Wallaga Lake to look for a cache and do some fishing.
A little walk up hill for a quick and easy find.

Found. A little sneaky. The area looked fairly dry but the log itself was absolutely saturated, so unable to sign.
A busy place to find a safe parking place today. Managed that then a short walk to GZ. A bit tricky, but SL at 4.16pm. Lots of fishermen trying their luck. #7862 TFTCdghoffy and elysium_au
Found with geoFam this took some effort, we nearly gave up, but DD found it at last! All in good condition TFTC
Gee, that was harder than the others so far. Wet log. GPS on phone was a little off.
Giving the SST trail a try while staying not too far away.
Quick find, all in good order.
Thank you dghoffy and elysium_au for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found - together with plenty of spider webs. Not sure why there appears to be an aversion to providing hints or a full cache description, which would make for a more enjoyable experience. TFTC - decided on no more before Narooma.
While doing a spot of fishing on holidays thought I would look for this cache. Nice easy find TFTC
Another clever hide on a beautiful spring day
A bit of a scramble for the geokids but we got there in the end. TFTC

Such a great spot here. We had to be sneaky to avoid the fisherman nearby in their boat but found the cache very quickly
Predominantly creative hides on this series kept things interesting. Got this one. Scenery beautiful. Our thanks to dghoffy for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Really good hiding spot, to anyone finding it next be careful of broken glass on the ground.
Another good find thank you. I love the peace at this spot even with a road nearby. The bridge just seems to add to it!
Our caching fun continued today as we went on the hunt with ilook4geo. Mostly we concentrated on the SST series, but some were not included in the list for various reasons. We found it very interesting how most cache names were very relevant, either being related to the camo or the position chosen for the hide.
Some were quick and easy finds, but others took a bit more serious looking. We also enjoyed finding the variety of containers used. All in all we had a lot of fun today and say thank you to dghoffy and elysium_au for placing and maintaining this great series.

What a fun day it was today with all the caches found with goingplaces2. Loved the camo used for so many of the caches and enjoyed finding the trickier ones too. Logs were signed and containers were replaced. TFTC.
The GPS in my phone is dodgy enough that I suspect I could have been standing directly on it and f2f.
Driving to the spot was very hairy andI recommend people park near the bridge and walk. Very pretty spot though.

The long weekend had arrived and off I go as part of the Canberra geocachers invasion for the SST series and any others along the way! A great weekend of camping, caching and socialising with a great bunch of people!
Not a muggle in sight so that made for a super quick find! [^]
Thanks for the hide, dghoffy

Headed to Wallaga Lake for a bit of an invasion by people from Canberra & Goulburn. A group of us convoyed for most of the long weekend. The group known as CGI (Canberra Goulburn Invasion) consisted of fitzy_1965, darzee di, nibletricecakes, k8tybee, GLISS!, GSC2000 and my geokids Lovetherabbitohs, b0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
A quick here find today but took us a bit of time to leave again as GLISS! almost got parked in. Thanks dghoffy for your effort in constructing the trail.

This weekend a few of us from Canberra and Goulburn decided to travel down to Bermagui and do the SST series and some of the other traditionals, camping at Wallaga Lake Big4. A nice little drive down this morning meeting up with Aimee and Kate, to start on our caching adventure of this fantastic little series.
The weather was glorious and the great company, laughs and stories making a great day. I just loved the different caches and ability to park safely and enjoy the experience. We signed logs as team CGI (canberra Goulburn invasion) and I could see that they we were going to enjoy ourselves, we got to gz found the cache, quickly signed log and put back for next cacher to find. a great day and a fantastic series. Sorry hoffys, but this is going to be a generic log, as I have trouble keeping up with the youngsters I cache with, let alone making notes for individual caches. It will however save you reading every log!
Weeks ago it was decided to resurrect the idea of Canberra Invasions. I had not previously been involved in these adventures but enthusiastically signed up and this is our second this year. What a fabulous time we had. The main targets were the Event on Saturday night to celebrate an 18th birthday and the SST series. Both were achieved as well as some extras thrown in for good luck.
Thanks to all the COs for the effort they put in to creating the caches we found, but especially to dghoffy . What an incredible set of caches. I especially loved the names allocated to the caches - wow what great imaginations you have, and this spilled over to the creation of the caches. Well done d! It was wonderful not to have a series of mint tins or sistemas and their placement was great too. Evil at times but so much fun! I especially appreciated the fact that there was always good parking on roads that can be busy - glad it was a winter long weekend not one in summer.
All caches were eventually found, sometimes with a little bit of help - thanks to the COs and GrimRaider and were signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers. Brilliant series so thanks again and it was great to have you share the weekend with us.

Travelling with AngelG27 and BobL27 for the 'SST Bermagui Invasion'. Day 1. This took longer than it should have as the GPSs were pointing us elsewhere to start with. TFTC.

Stopped by this cache with Tankengine on our way to Bermagui for the weekend. SO many caches to choose from along the way for me but I was happy to just stop for those that were close by to the road as we passed by. I could have stopped for some a little earlier but missed the few just of the road as I was fussing with lots of little bugs crawling on me, found out later they were ticks! Found out even later that one got me...again! This was such a beautiful spot, calm, pretty and some Kids fishing so rapt in there catch they asked if we could take there photo for them, My first sst cache, thanks for the cache and the great trail.
Found with AngelG27 and TikvaNZ on a trip to the south coast on the long weekend. Had a great time driving around and grabbing caches. TFTC
Found on the Canberra Invasion of SST. Signed as Canberra Goulburn Invasion. CGI. TFTC.
Beautiful spot
Found with Smittengranny, Kittykatch and Grimraider caching as Capital Crunchers. Down the coast heading to Bermagui for and caching catchup. TFTC

This was a long awaited and planned geocaching mission to the south coast with a few other Canberra cachers. Bobl27, TikvaNZ and I drove down Saturday morning and picked up a few caches on the way to the main goal which was the SST.
This cache: TikvaNZ made the find this time. A lovely spot.
Thanks dghoffy and elysium_au for the cache and the fun!

I did wonder about the cache name for a while.
Turns out I was standing in it
And here on the lake shore I poked around for a while,
and found Akolele's cache
TFTC in a quiet roadside area [^]
