On our way to south.. No rush cause of having holiday. Time to visit also smaller interesting citys and places. Thanks for this cache, which earns favo. Not only because we come from Finland, the land of Santa Claus.
TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
Santa in place I’d guess - TFTC and thanks for bringing me to this beautiful place
Strange place for this maybe put there by pro fishos as a sleeping spot as it doesn't look that old.
Again found container on the ground so put it a little higher up but not much. Looks like a bit of pruning of the shrubs around GZ has been undertaken.

Visiting the South Coast and happy to be back on an enjoyable dghoffy trail again. Just one DNF during today's efforts. All the rest were found in good condition and logs signed. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series ghoffy and elysium_au
Think Santa may have migrated from his original location but replaced where found and well covered.

Cool spot I did move it cause it was on the floor it’s still in the structure just in a hole TFTC
Day 5 of my fishing trip to Bermagui which is turning out to be more geocaching than fishing due to the bad weather. Decided to head up to Narooma today via a stop off at Tilba pub.
Knew where this would be soon as I spotted the structure.

Love this part of the coast I have family here so a quick duck out to grab this one.
Walk by many times in the last few months thinking it’d be a great place for a cache. Upgraded to premium and would you look at that!
We thought it would take us a while to find this one as it has been replaced by a sneakier one, unfortunately it was on the floor! But thank you for replacing it if it was missing
Having a morning stroll along the beautiful lakeside realised we were near this cache. It would have been wrong not to have a look!
Quick find, Thanks for maintaining the cache

On our way home from fishing at Wallaga Lake, we stopped at the boat ramp to fillet the fish.
Only a short stroll for a quick and easy find. Seems an odd place to find this feature here.

I spent a long time here and walked away covered in spider webs. I assume this should have been easy but no idea!
The lack of hints on the trail can be quite frustrating. Anything without hint could easily be 0.5 D higher.
While I was searching an old fellow stopped by and explained that this was the boating club down here with the nearby wood signifing where to peer was for the water access.
Thank you dghoffy for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Much easier. Fortunately I looked around before I went to the effort of checking up and in. An easy find in the end. TFTC.?
After a nice stroll with hubby from where we are stay at Wallaga Lakes. I thought it was time to find a Geo. TFTC
Great to find a quality cache and a beautiful location, such scenic countryside. So much creativity, we had a few dnfs but managed to find this one of yours we searched for. Our thanks to dghoffy for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Obviously at one stage this location was indeed prime lakeside real estate... what a view would have been enjoyed. And as seems always, the last standing is the fireplace and chimney. What an interesting spot. TFTC dghoffy
Found while moving to our next fishing spot. Can't complain about combining two hobbies in one place.

Found this with the usual suspects, one day shy of my 14th geocaching birthday.
A nice quick one to find then we were off to catch some fishies, well the others caught fishies, I mostly just wet my line!

Found @ 4:32pm with Shadow!, Goo67 and hccatcher11415
Having stopped for a bite to eat at the nearest picnic table, hccatcher11415 moved the car further down to our next fishing spot and I decided to see if there was a cache nearby as the rest of us walked.
Sure enough, this one was just 10m away. Given the cache name, the hide was a no-brainer. This one is definitely a small not a regular and the log was difficult to remove due to the size of the opening. Hopefully it’s easier for the next finder.
Thanks djhoffy

Sorry hoffys, but this is going to be a generic log, as I have trouble keeping up with the youngsters I cache with, let alone making notes for individual caches. It will however save you reading every log!
Weeks ago it was decided to resurrect the idea of Canberra Invasions. I had not previously been involved in these adventures but enthusiastically signed up and this is our second this year. What a fabulous time we had. The main targets were the Event on Saturday night to celebrate an 18th birthday and the SST series. Both were achieved as well as some extras thrown in for good luck.
Thanks to all the COs for the effort they put in to creating the caches we found, but especially to dghoffy . What an incredible set of caches. I especially loved the names allocated to the caches - wow what great imaginations you have, and this spilled over to the creation of the caches. Well done d! It was wonderful not to have a series of mint tins or sistemas and their placement was great too. Evil at times but so much fun! I especially appreciated the fact that there was always good parking on roads that can be busy - glad it was a winter long weekend not one in summer.
All caches were eventually found, sometimes with a little bit of help - thanks to the COs and GrimRaider and were signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers. Brilliant series so thanks again and it was great to have you share the weekend with us.

Spending a glorious weekend down the Sappire Coast as part of the Canberra Invasion. Whilst the invasion meant the chance to catch up with many cachers at events and at different spots (and a delightful excuse to celebrate Lovetherabbitohs 18th birthday), I spent most of the weekend on the hunt with the CGI crew: Fitzy_1965, DarzeeDi, Minniek , K8TYBEE , GLISS!, GSC2000 Lovetherabbitohs, B0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. Thanks so much for keeping all the caches alive and making this weekend a possibility! Tftc

Headed to Wallaga Lake for a bit of an invasion by people from Canberra & Goulburn. A group of us convoyed for most of the long weekend. The group known as CGI (Canberra Goulburn Invasion) consisted of fitzy_1965, darzee di, nibletricecakes, k8tybee, GLISS!, GSC2000 and my geokids Lovetherabbitohs, b0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
A quick here find today. Thanks dghoffy for your effort in constructing the trail.

This weekend a few of us from Canberra and Goulburn decided to travel down to Bermagui and do the SST series and some of the other traditionals, camping at Wallaga Lake Big4. A nice little drive down this morning meeting up with Aimee and Kate, to start on our caching adventure of this fantastic little series.
The weather was glorious and the great company, laughs and stories making a great day. I just loved the different caches and ability to park safely and enjoy the experience. We signed logs as team CGI (canberra Goulburn invasion) and I could see that they we were going to enjoy ourselves, we all had a great day and a said how much a fantastic series it was. Tftc dghoffy and elysium_au

18,256. Found during the Canberra (and Goulburn) Invasion of the Sapphire Coast with minniek, GSC2000, DarzeeDi, Nibletricecakes, K8tybee, GLISS!, and the geokids.
After much planning and anticipation, the Canberra and Goulburn Invasion of the Sapphire Coast was underway. I had previously done the SST series back in 2016 but I had a few DNFs on missing caches from that trip to make right ! This was the first DNF to cross off - so happy about that.
My log from back then was :
"Attempted on a weekend run down the coast with mtrax and LuckyL10n to do the SST and BFH series and any other caches in between !
Our fifth DNF for the run. We spent quite a while looking around here and even did the PAF - pretty sure its gone. There has been a recent fire in GZ as well. Next time !"
And it was so...
Thanks dghoffy !! So happy to now know you guys and appreciate you joining our Invasion !

Travelling with AngelG27 and BobL27 for the 'SST Bermagui Invasion'. Day 1. This took longer than it should have as the GPSs were pointing us elsewhere to start with. TFTC.

Found with AngelG27 and TikvaNZ on a trip to the south coast on the long weekend. Had a great time driving around and grabbing caches. TFTC
Found on the Canberra Invasion of SST. Signed as Canberra Goulburn Invasion. CGI. TFTC.
Cache 5136 on 8 Jun 2019.
This was a long awaited and planned geocaching mission to the south coast with a few other Canberra cachers. Bobl27, TikvaNZ and I drove down Saturday morning and picked up a few caches on the way to the main goal which was the SST.
This cache: smaller than anticipating, but found okay!
Thanks dghoffy and elysium_au for the cache and the fun!

We have had our eye on this geocaching trail for a long time now, and so with our current travels taking us south down the coast we of course wanted to gain a few smilies. We enjoyed the trail with its many varied cache hides and the locations the caches led us to. Some of the caches were quite challenging to find while others gave themselves up much easier. It was a very windy day with a bit of drizzly rain, but certainly nothing to deter us from another great day out geocaching, and so many thanks to the CO for the extraordinary amount of time and effort put into laying this trail, although we will have to wait for another visit to complete the north bound section - something to look forward to! After having first diverted off the route to undertake the Camel Rock Earthcache this was our next stop. The cache was soon found once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe

Another beautiful spot, with some great history here. The name of this geocache was suddenly clear when we arrived. We found this with Hogwarts85 and Kohoutkids.

Last cache of this run, on my way now to the local brewery for a hard earned beer. Given this is a regular, I had hoped to drop a travelbug, but getting the log out is pretty tight.

When we arrived at this location, the cache name made sense. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks dghoffy and elysium_au for the cache and the enjoyable series.
A series I will never forget, extremely challenging at times as every cache is different and there is no hint. Without a hint you approach GZ each time like a newbie, and if co-ords slightly out finding some caches becomes hard. Day 2. Drove straight to cache. Tftc
Lovely spot! It just needs walls. I could happily live here. Had to look twice to spot the cache. Replaced as found. TFTC
Found it on my way round the SST. Thanks for the series. Thought I might have to exit the way Santa does but luckily the cache was quickly found and returned to its hide.
On a two day road trip with Seemyshell and Muppet95 searching for caches around the Sapphire Coast. So many various hides along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches in such a beautiful area to visit. TFTC
Overnight trip around the SST with Seemyshell and Brewmaker. I was really impressed with the wide range of unique styles and sizes. Another huge selling point on these were the interesting names for the caches (instead of numbered), which makes it easier to remember each location and find. Thanks to all the Cache Owners of the Sapphire Coast (namely dghoffy and elysium_au) for injecting the greater area with good quality caches. Thanks For The Cache!
Easy find!

After spending all of yesterday on the SST we set off again today, a bit later though, to rejoin the series at Cobargo and complete it. Yesterday had been challenging with quality and varied hides that had us on our toes and stretched all day. A great series!
Did we ever make hard work of this one! Parked at the entrance to the little road that led to the picnic area and walked in. The feature was soon spotted but no he wasn't where we expected him to be.
Well we wandered round and round and searched and searched.
Reinforced to us again to always search in the easiest places first, even if it is dghoffy. Yes, that's where we found it.

Geodaughter found this one after the locals we met had told us the river was in flood and we couldn't drive out, so we would have to reversed all the way back. Which really wasn't that hard. They also informed us that the chimney at GZ was a fishing cottage about 60yrs ago, the only thing left the foundations, the chimney and the a small part of the jetty. Funny enough, we ended up meeting them again in town where we stopped to have coffee and morning tea. Great Tour and TFTC dghoffy and elysium_au!!!
Took a little searching but finally had our hands on the little gift. The log was signed & placed in a new plastic bag & we left a couple of small items for swaps. Yet another part of this spectacular region that we have never been before. Kutgw
