Logs
This has been found and all the swaps stolen. We found it in the bush with leaves in it. Replaced where it's meant to be, but it has no log now.
Found it. Can confirm log is still saturated. Nice walk on another very still calm Aotea morning. Tui in the trees was a nice background sounds
Awesome spot. Awesome hide. Awesome smell from the slowly rotting logbook! Didn't sign for obvious reasons.
Found on second attempt, unfortunately soaked through and not able to sign. Advised CO. TFTC tm
Did find this one, but as other have pointed out the logbook is soaked and can't write in it. Great hiding place though!
Lovely walk. Perfect for kids with loads of painted rocks to look at.
Log book water logged. Unable to write in it. Will log maintenance request

Found this today, cool spot, but whole cache is soaked. Logbook is soggy and moulding.
Too busy looking at the cool painted rocks so missed this one on the way out. Got on the return walk. Neat container. TFTC. Definitely needs maintenance as the log was soaking wet.
Definitely needs maintenance- the log is very wet despite the cool container. TFTC
Cheers.
I believe this needs to be spruced up a bit.
Found the outer container full of water.
And the inner container was partially open.
As a result, the log book is very damp, and the pages are broken and muddled up.
I drained the water and closed it all up properly, but probably needs a new log book.
Cheers
I signed one page, but the pages are all loose and muddled up

Awesome cache, especially considering it's CO's first hide! Not sure if the co-ords are out or if my GPS just couldn't get a decent reading, but like the other logs state, if you look in the obvious spot you won't be disappointed!
Logbook was soaked and a little moldy, still signable though. Didn't have any replacement logs on me unfortunately.

A quick fossick off the track. GPS quickly lost, but able to spot most likely spot, soon in hand after that. Container was full of water, so emptied out, log still relatively dry. Signed and returned, container upside down. Tftc!
Gps was a bit off so i went looking i went looking in the wrong place. Quick find once i looked in the obvious place
Have car, will cache Brief scramble and find of unusual container Nice patch of bush. Thanks mttomatoking!
#2074. After a 3 night R&R (and caching) trip to the Kapiti Coast, we learned of a new Multi in Bothamley Park, a spot I have never been to before.
GB Leader and I teamed up with Flowerydaze, Talla64 & JustlookingOO to do the Multi, but got bamboozled by the plethora of data and rocks. GB Leader took pix of all the little rocky dioramas and what a joy they were to see! I just hope they are respected by all visitors to the park. So, although we failed to make headway on the Multi, we made use of the visit to pick up the three Trads along the way. This was the last one.
Nice tricky hide. JLOO headed into the jungle so I followed and did the climbing to where she reckoned the cache was, and she was spot on!
Tftc mttomatoking.

Out for a wee walk with to get the one cache we missed last time we were here. The name of the cache helped us to spot it quickly once we were off the track and it wasn’t too tricky to get to. Loved the different container - something I haven’t seen before.
#273 Out for a quick walk with KTG while we have no rain. Also on a double mission to set our first ever trackable free into the wild. All good with the cache. Log was quite wet but managed to sign it. Awesome container. Never seen one like that before. Have placed back in position. But upside down and also one side lower to stop filling with water. TFTC

Interesting hide - I see how it got its name! Logbook is wet but usable. (Cache container will collect water if left "lid" up, as it is inset into the body of the container)
In March I was totally frustrated as I was sure I was looking in the right place ....I wasn't. Success this time. I have left 2 trackables for a fellow cacher to continue their journey. TFTC
Found it. Out in the open and torn apart but we did our best to put it back together and rehide. Log book is wet but could sign it ok.
Found by coincidence while foraging for wild edible weeds. Needs some TLC I'm afraid.
Sveppi and I have been loitering around our local park. We often wander off trail to remind ourselves of our tramping and hunting adventures. We gather wild mushrooms and generally snoop. Last week I found a random trail camera set up by someone. Since then I've been going past it regularly waiving stuffed animals in front of the lens!
Today we come of the trail here to explore the little stream. Sveppi notices something and says "What's that!?". It didn't look like rubbish, but not really like a geocache either. Maybe somebody's drug stash? Let's have a look.... oh! A geocache! Very damp inside but there are a couple of sad looking pens so I managed to sign for both of us. Not the first time we find a cache while not looking for one...

Neat hide thanks! Have enjoyed exploring this area ( except maybe the blackberry with the earth cache near by/ drew a blank there!) Many thanks for the hide- all dry inside although a bit of water in the ‘pot’. That surprised me as terrain very dry here. Not to mind! A great day and a quick walk back to car as rain setting in
WIth good accurate coords I was able to go straight to gz and spot the outer container immediately. The outer container had quite a lot of water in it, but this was probably because it had been placed updside down which would trap water (handle down folks!). The log book was in pretty good condition and is reasonably dry inside.

The cache container could have been used for its original purpose as it was full of water today. Despite everything being very wet, the log book is in pretty good condition and remains singable. Thanks for bringing me to a location I have not visited before. TFTC
Excellent hide! Cool spot! Miss three scrambled up for as soon as she saw where to go.

Really clever hide, caution to others the exterior container is not water tight but cache wa a nice and dry inside.
Wicked outside container

I was concentrating on the hint so much that I hadn't clicked onto the cache name until I had my hands on the cache, after crossing over from the other side of the creek. An interesting container too, I haven't seen one of these used before. In any case, signed log and replaced, then headed back down the track to where I had parked. All good here, and TFTC
Quick find next to the large hint object once the gps calmed down. Surprising to find 500 ml of water in the main container only a week after the previous find but probably due to the way it was placed. Inner container still dry so all good.
A gorgeous spot for me to make my first find in a return to caching. Great hide, container and location. Tftc!
Out for a big walk today and really enjoying this walkway. Found cache no problem, but lots of water inside. Emptied out - Luckily log still dry. TFTC
A quick find as the container was way out in the open, its now back in a fairly obvious semi-hidden location - look at the name of the cache. TFTC.
A muddy scramble up the bank on a damp morning. Dunno if the cache has been moved - less up and behind and more under
Needed a cache today to deal to a dot day. As I was in Porirua late afternoon I decided this was the one to go after. I hope to look for other ones along this track on other dot days! Wandering into the trees in my suit and good shoes wasn’t ideal but I managed to stay upright and no harm was done! Forgot about the previous logger’s warning about bees but didn’t see any anyway. Spotted the sizeable cache from several metres away, so it was a relatively quick find once I was in the vicinity of GZ. #2660. TFTC.
TFTC. Everyone be careful of this one though, there's a bee's nest right next to the cache Cache is in good shape.
With minimal GPS reception inder the trees I wandered around a bit before the significance of the cache title became apparent. A quick find then. All safe and dry here, TFTC.
Also found this one on our way back to the car. Nice little hide. TFTC. Sherlock Hood and Squirrel.
This reminded us of tramping, nice cache, all dry, added a couple of trinkets to the empty cache
I decided to come out here and have a look for this one by torch light. With the benefit of hindsight, it was not such a good idea. However, it was a successful mission and I really needed the walk.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you
Cherrys Rule.

A wilder area off the track but easy to reach today. I had a "cache container" just like this - it came with me on many a scout camp. -TB.
I walked through from Warspite Avenue, grabbing a recent cache at The Fork on the way. Few people about this afternoon: just a couple of joggers and a cyclist.
GZ was an easy find thanks to good coordinates and a clear hint. The cache was visible from the bottom of a short scramble but the location is such that it's not a problem.
All good with the cache - all nice and dry.

#3487 1 of 15 today.
Day 4 in NZ and I'm leaving Wellington heading for Whanganui, a 2.5 hr trip that I managed to make take about 6. Sadly I took lunch with me, so I can't blame it on an extended lunch break. The weather today was pretty ordinary. Grey with showers increasing the further up the road I drove. I stopped in various towns when the weather permitted and grabbed as many caches as I could. It's still raining here, but the forecast is good for the next few days.
A great little spot, I took a few pics. Found the cache OK, but it was crammed full of stash items. The lid not longer fits.

#3058. Needed a few geocaches today so headed out to Aotea and Papakowhai to boost the numbers. Parked near the play area and walked down the path to the GZ. After finding an access point through the brambles I headed in to look for something that matched the cache title. Didn't take long to spot. Getting up there in my casual walk shoes was a bit more of a scramble. Certainly picked up some dirt on the clothes reaching the GZ. Hopefully picked up no other residents that hang out in these types of places. The cache was soon spotted. What an inventive container. Keeping the cache nice and dry. Signed the log with the pen provided and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here.
I should have gone to the obvious place first but didn't initially feel adventurous enough to climb up there as the recent rain had made everything soggy and there's lot of rotten wood. Cache was a good find though. The outer layer was full of water but the inner was was dry. Nice logbook. Re-hid "upside down" so that water can't pool inside. I could hear lots of muggles passing by on the track but the cache is sufficiently well off the track that it was no concern at all.
Yay, found it! Second time lucky. Helps with a bit more daylight, no need for a torch unless it gets a bit darker. A nice and Easy first find. Now I'm hooked.
First attempt at my first cache. Thought I'd go a bit later in the evening so there is not a lot of muggles around but my timing was a bit out. Was a slightly darker and the tiny flashlight wasn't enough. GPS was jumping around a bit. This cache could have stared me in the face and I would not have seen it. Will try next time with more light or better flashlight.
Was in the area on other business and when that was finished did what is inevitable when that happens for cachers and looked for caches. Was hoping to use it to gain the Leap Weekend souvenir but it wasn't to be, fortunately I did manage to find a cache later to qualify.
GPS was all over the place, tried places that seemed to fit the terrain rating and hint without success. One place which looked very likely was T3 and slippery, will wear boots if I try this one again!
Nice oasis in the middle of surburbia, keen to explore the park tracks more especially as (showing my age!) I used to walk over the farmland and bush area between Paremata and Porirua when none of this area was developed.

A good track to walk on, a few muggles with dogs around but no-one in sight when I left the track to look for this one. An easy find - interesting container. First time I've been in this area so thanks for the cache.
Not much of a walk to this one and there was really only one choice once in the vicinity but interpretation of the hint was in my favour while UlmusLynx interpreted it slightly differently. TFTC
Didnt take too long for Gilgul to get her hands on this. A few Families out for a walk on the Pathway. TFTC
#1850 Out collecting a couple of caches while the weather plays nice. Very pleasant walk down to GZ and a quick find. More water in the outer cache and inner cache a little damp. By the time we went down to the Earthcache and walked back there were HEAPS of people out for a walk in this park. Thanks for bringing us here.
I enjoyed a pleasant stroll to the cache this morning and quickly located the container at GZ.
The outer container was completely full of water, but happily the inner container seems to be watertight.
Thanks very much for the cache.

Took advantage of the nice weather this afternoon to get out and about. I was a bit alarmed at the amount of water inside the outer casing but the log book was nice and dry in the inner container. TNLN SL TFTC
