I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Looking at a previous photo, I knew I was at the right log but nothing is there now.
Found with @billy.777. Very wet we couldn’t sign the log, might need some maintenance. TFTC
Fun find with rustynz, riding around the poo ponds today, on a windy afternoon in Autumn
Thanks G-2
Thanks G-2
A quick find on our way back to the car after completing the AdLab.
The log was jammed down in the cache, and not only could I not get it out but I broke my bestest, most favourite (leaked all over my bag) caching pen. Took a photo in case CO wants to see his cache.

Out for the ad lab and so didn't bring any type of writing instrument, but thank you for the placements along this path
Haha no wonder why they call it the stinky 1. Found it but as above the log is extremely wet.didnt want to ruin so took a pic of the beauty weather whilst here caching instead.
After finding the nearby challenge cache we headed to the island for a morning caching.
Carpark was empty so was nice to have a quiet muggle free walk. Found the hint item and then found the cache. Log is a tad wet but still singable if you have the right type of pen. TFTC

A nice wander round parts of the island today doing some of the adventure lab and grabbing a few caches along the way. We will definitely be back with our bikes in tow next time. Extremely wet under foot here, and log wet unsurprisingly. Tftc
A few hours to kill before having to pick up my daughter at Auckland Airport so headed over to Puketutu Island. Arrived at car park and absolutely poured down. After sitting in car for 15 minutes it cleared and managed to get around the southern part dry and grabbing caches and the Ad Labs. Spotted this one from the path. Had to work my way through the water though before making the grab. Thanks for the cache.
I had a rummage around where there is a pink ribbon but couldn't find. Will try again another time
When for a wander on Saturday night (9-7-22).
Found it after a little fumbling around in the mud.
The cach was safe if not a little wet on the inside.
Thanks G-2.

6 June 2022 14:32. After getting soaked in the Coromandel this morning, I decided to cut my losses and head back to AKL. I had 2 hours before I need to get the hire car back, so headed here for the AL and an "Unfinshed Business" challenge cache nearby. I then discovered this little series so how could I refuse? Hint item quickly quickly spotted, the cache took little longer to locate. TFTC G-2, another good one.
I spent the morning looking after the Grandkids while their parents worked from home. I dropped the kids off at daycare in time to have lunch then sleeps and set off to get todays geocaching targets.
I was hoping to grab a few puzzles, get the last two TMGT caches and head out towards the airport in plenty of time to collect my son at 6.30pm.
I was pleased as I achieved my goals and got 24 finds plus 2 labs for the day.
I parked up at 3.30pm and hoped I'd have enough time to do both sides of the island before dark. Got back from the other side at 4.30 and headed off this way after moving the car out incase I wasn't back before the gates got locked at 5.30. Another quick find. The log was full so I added a piece of write in the rain paper. TFTC

I am doing the south side of the island. I notice that the Carpark closes it’s gates at 7, I want to be well gone by then, so not sure if I will attempt any one the other side. We’ll see. Quick find here, and we are underway by foot. TFTC G2
I decided to pop out here for a few caches on a fine but breezy afternoon. I had never been to Puketutu Island, even in the 8 years I lived in Auckland, and to be honest knew little about it.
But curiosity brought me here. That and a couple of target caches, a short Ad Lab, and plenty of trads. I enjoyed the different view of parts of the city, and the birdlife. Not too many issues, just the one DNF.

A not so mad day caching,.. but I certainly benefited! Out with Keylev and NZTravellers again. As they have all gotten most of the caches in this area, it was up to be to play catchup to these 2. They were feeling extremely charitable and I wasn't going to pass the opportunity up. Sure they used me for cache maintenance labour, but as long as I get to sign the logs, I don't very much care
Approached GZ and got it pretty quickly. TFTC

Nice and easy here, could see a gleam of container lid from the path and so it was, the cache was found.
Second phase of the day, teamed up with alunb who has already found most of the caches out this way, with the exception of the Lab caches, and the Multi at the end of the line.
Our weekend plans of a ride out to Raglan were put on hold as our son and his family needed to head down to Auckland due to family reasons and we were able to put them up for the weekend. With uncertainty around what we were doing for the Saturday I put aside any caching plans and awaited the outcomes. We ended up going to the CITO, I then got to hang out with CyclicalCaching and his partner for one path around part of the island, then around the other way with alunb. Managed to get quite a few of the caches around here before a trip out to Sylvia Park for some retail therapy.

We have been in this area many times in the past and it can be very stinky especially when that tractor unit passes by. Good incentive to locate these caches quickly. TFTC

Easy find for us and the first one of the day. CO calls the series Stinky for a good reason being adjacent to the sewerage treatment plant! Thanks CO for the cache.
Found with nzanz, I was getting stuck in the spider webs for a while first. Tftc
After a not-this-year-Mega-weekend, where we had gone to the tribute cache, chased crayons for a morning, found challenge caches, found TMGT caches, today was a bit of a Mangere and Puketutu hangout day.

Last day in Auckland for some of our Southland group, checked out of accommodation, had breakfast nearby, still time to grab some caches, concentrating not too far from the airport... no missing planes for us!
A Puketutu Island adventure on the cards so we headed off to find some caches and complete an AdLab.
Spotted this first hide fairly quickly tftc

Came out to do the adventure lab and tick off some regular caches as well.
As per cyclical caching's previous note, someone has left their notebook here.

Amazing how it all blended in so well. After I put it back Mr Squirrel was unable to spot anything...nice.
Our first visit to the island. Love the birds... The swallowscwere dive bombing the car!
Yus! Geocaching again. Great to be out doing it again. Never been out here before. Amazed at the amounts of birds on the way in. The swallows were crazy as. Quick find to get the ball rolling and first one after Lockdown. Tftc
Nice afternoon stroll around here. This is snug as a bug! Had to find this on my return journey when I had to seize an opportunity when nobody about! Thanks for placing.
We found this cache during our holidays, when traveling around Auckland!
Thanks for showing!

In Auckland for a few days for my daughters wedding this afternoon. Before she announced her wedding date, I had planned to get at least 96 caches of various types sizes and D/T ratings etc. to get my find numbers up to 101 and as my other leap day achievemnets as possible. However once she anoounced leap day as her wedding day I had to pare back my goals for the day to just finding 21 caches as quick as I could first thing in the morning. I chose this area for the concentration of caches. Unfortunately, being under time pressure, if I couldn't find a cache within a couple of minutes, I had to move on. This cache was easily found. TFTC.

Down in Auckland from Whangarei for the weekend to drop our niece off at the airport. After staying overnight at a nearby accommodation establishment, decided on an early morning jog, before the heat of the day arrived. Had never ever been to this area before, but the long trails of caches looked very inviting and I am always keen to go jogging in new places. It makes it so much more interesting.
I had to make a compromise between jogging and caching though, as with a plane to catch, I certainly didn't want to get my niece there late. Therefore I only stopped off to grab the odd one as I passed by, so I didn't cool down too much. This one was my second stop for the day and with the good hint, was a nice quick find where indicated.
Signed log and then replaced safe and secure for the next finder. TFTC

Up and getting ready to catch my plane down to Canterbury for the festive season. I was early so parked up here to deal with some emails. Thought I'd grab this while here.

Got an hour or so to kill before our staff Christmas party in Manukau this evening, so figured I'd go find some caches! I'm a sucker for a good series so this seemed like a great option.

For the first day and after a long flight from Europe, we decided to do a walk and look for some caches in this area before going on an adventure on the North Island.
Beautiful place not far from the city
