Was kind of in the area...so made a creative car park and looked all round Big Rhodo....
No sign of scattered remains of cache for me today.

Time to launch another raid into the Waikato - I'm slowly chipping away at these placements but it seems there's always more work to be done
We got a little lucky here as GZ was easy enough but the cache was quite buried and we were just lucky to spot it. This cache was found in good condition thanks to accurate coords, hint and a straight forward placement. Cheers steedandpeel, TFTC

Two R's Richard and Rebecca found the cache! Yay! Slightly damp but an easyish find thanks
#529. And after finding F why not carry onto R? Thank you for this series. Made an fairly easy find, bit more of a scramble than others, all in good order.

Better luck today than last visit.
By bad management, I had failed to store the details this visit but a bit of a search brought success.

Nice cache. Was quite full of water but luckily CO placed the log in an additional canister inside. Thanks! Love these alphabet ones.
An early morning find this morning, luckily I remembered to bring my torch, helped with the darkness under the canopy. Cache was a bit damp, but all good. Tftc
Not our only DNF today. Looked in some suitable locations, but the hint didn't help me find anything I'm afraid.
Out today clearing some areas and to turn into nice yellow smiles was nice to be accompanied by caching buddy NZ Flossy Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placement. Cheers
On a road with McJandals over the hill to Hamilton. An early start to make the most of the day. We had lots of laughs and quite a bit of mud and took a few wrong turns. Thanks to all the CO’s for their caches TFTC
On a bike ride this afternoon up the waikato river, making the most of the lovely sunny day. Stopped here and had a look around for this cache. Used the hint and found the cache pretty easily. Unfortunately I did not have a pen on me, so have taken a photo of the log for proof! Thanks for putting a cache here
Found after a brief search due to a good hint. Cache was full of water (drained) but log was dry. TFTC.
Cache wasn’t under any roots but 2 metres down the hill from the big tree. We signed log and have tucked it back in under roots higher up with a covering of leaves.....should be safe there, tftc
TFTC slowly making my way through south Hamiltons long list of caches, nice hide too!
Over in Hamilton with some time to kill today so I had a look for this one. Good spot, TFTC
Spent a while looking and nearly missed it but finally spotted. On with my run. Glad the sun has come out.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Good old Queen Elizabeth, allowing us to have a day off work... We drcided on a mission to Hamilton for the purpose of one puzzle hunt in particular. It seems this one's days are numbered (which is a shame)... But we have other targets too.
This seems to be another one of those hides we've put off for another day... It was probably due to limited parking... But Gap doesn't seem to have those parking problems. We spotted the hint from metres away. This was a bit of a search, but we got there eventually. More soup... TFTC.

#11273. GZ proved a bit tricky to get too, and I was pleased to spot the cache without too much thrashing around. TFTC.
Today it seemed a little cooler than the hot muggy conditions we have endured since arriving in Hamilton. We decided to attempt the Bridge too Far wherigo on bikes and this wasn't far off our route back to home base.
StreetWalker tried one approach and I tried another, but my way was blocked by a bike laying in amongst the bushes! So had to retreat and use SW's approach. He found the cache too. Thanks for another helping of alphabet soup and TFTC.

Beautiful day in Hamilton today with my partner in caching. Nice cache log book is in great condition. Where did you get the paper for it?chanks again peace out
Beauty day out! Quick walk along the river with my partner in crime. Ducked in the bushes while there weren't many muggle vehicles present and snagged a cache. Great hiding spot too. TFTC and HAPPY NEE YEAR!!
Nice early morning find, Ryan had been gardening for his Grandma recently and had to dead head the tree that the hint refers to so knew exactly what type of tree to look for. No problems with the cache. Thanks
This morning we found the empty container (see photo). We left a strip of paper for a log sheet, but the CO needs to check that this is really the cache.

On a short road trip with tmann421. Enjoyed the area collecting caches along the way.

Awesome wee cache in the first place I looked. Love it when that happens. TFTC.
Took me a little while because I was looking to close to the big tree. I finally found an opening which looked as if heaps of people walked through. Saw what could have been the hiding spot and there it was. Oh, had no clue was a rhodo plant was, now I do. And I love the box. Thanks for the cache.
Drove up to this one - had expected to be able to turn around at the skills centre, and found the gate closed - looks like it has been closed for a long time.
Still, the find was very close beside the parking spot in the drive.
A bit of reversing got us back to the main road, after an interesting find.

Running a few errands for the day, and thought I better find a cache as well to keep the streak going. A bit of a scramble around until I located the cache. Another letter ticked off.

Found finally after several abortive attempts. Better done on foot as the bicycle affected the stealth. Thanks for the cache, it's always nice to find something a little different.

Required a regular cache, remembering this one and readied myself to receive a smilie. It was only appropriate that I run to this one so rendered a route and run to GZ.
Arrived at the right location and required the hint. Rearranged myself to the right spot.
Thanks for keeping my streak rolling on.

2.30pm - Probably parked in the wrong place but was in and out in no time. SLTFTC
Not much caching of late, courtesy of being fairly housebound with broken geokids, other than 1 or 2 park'n'grab caches in town picked up between Dr appointments. Muggle hubby took pity on me this morning & let me escape for a while, so opted for a cluster of caches that I could find on foot & have a decent walk at the same time - gee, it's good to get some fresh air & a spot of caching too. Was in two minds about extending my walk to collect this one but rain is great for keeping muggles away & (correctly) figured a damp Saturday morning would be a good time for this cache. Added another R here by losing my footing & rolling down the bank; lucky I have ACC on speed-dial Love the cache - a fav from me! Thanks steedandpeel
Today was the day to do some housework around the city and clear out a number of caches that have popped up while I was away. Its nice coming back to a number of caches rather than picking them off one by one.
I was early enough in the morning that muggles were not the problem here so had it soon located without trouble. A little bit of inventive parking and this was soon in hand
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

After being muggled out at my first dot day cache I needed another find asap. This one did me well and it was found no problems. Loved the container
Drove past GZ several times looking for a parking spot, done some creative parking and quickly found the cache without having to phone a friend
Running in the rain around the river without a raincoat is ridiculous! Thought I would kill two birds with one stone this morning by combining some morning excercise and a cache hunt but the sky opened up and I got caught in a downpour on the other side of the river. Easy find once I got to gz and it would have been a dry spot to shelter from the rain had I been on the right side of the river! Thanks for providing us with another quality cache to continue our streak of 76 days. The Rhododendrons look great at the moment.
Yes I called in here after work. I was a bit worried about the bank mentioned in the description.
Even at around midnight it was not too bad using the LED light of my cellphone. the clue pretty much gets you there. New the weather was going to turn tomorrow o thought id better do it now. Another FTF
