### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
----------
Whilst this cache has had some welcomed assistance from Good Samaritans ('catnap777' & 'OZREG') the cache is still in need of owner attention, so I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists.
Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities,**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) especially when seekers have identified one or more issues.
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list.
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, Archive the cache. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then.
Please don't send me an email but instead follow the advice posted above.

Nice little town bit worried about the possibility of snakes where the hide is but we found it anyway....Everything is a bit wet.
Our first cache! Love Dookie - head across for a coffee and say G’day to Sol at the emporium if open.
TFTC quick find in this lovely tidy town. Needs maintenance, container broken. Out with KoolKats
Driving back from Shep with Ozreg heading to the Warby's we decided to call into Dookie as we have never been here. Cache was broken so Ozreg replaced it
Container is broken & log is saturated. Managed to sign. Had nothing to replace it with. Geo baby found this one! TFTC!
Found! Container broken and items getting damp.
Great hide need to look from all angles!

Found with kenare, kenbryl and team mrszoomby after having tea at the pub. Cache has a broken lid. Tftc
Find #2600. Woohoo!! For somebody that lives quite a few hours away I've spent a lot of time in Dookie. My family used to own the shop many years ago. We were up this way last year but ran out time to try and find this one, but we knew we would be back again, as always. We came in to the pub for tea a little earlier than everyone else so we could have a quick look for this one. But more cars pulled up so we didn't want to look suss with torches so we joined up with the others and had a really good feed at the pub. After eating we decided to have another quick look as the outside traffic had died down. Nope, still no joy. We went back inside to socialise again. AS we were sitting down my Auntie asked if we found it, I said no. Then people on our table piped up that they cache too. What are the odds of meeting cachers in a small country pub? They had travelled 4 hours to get there and we travelled a bit longer, all for the same family/friend get together!! Small world.!! So we headed out with them after they had finished eating and we soon had the (broken) cache in hand. TFTC
Sean.75, kenare and I were on our way to Shepparton, going a very different way to usual. Sean.75 had planned the way that we were going and what caches we could pick up along the way. We left this one for 'next time'when we were here last year. Funnily enough we met other cachers who were sitting at the same table as us at the pub! TFTC
Today's little adventure was a circuitous route through Wunghnu, Dookie, Balmattum, Benalla, Goorambat, Tungamah and back home to Echuca with the intention of finding a couple of GC caches, a few GCA caches and also to view some of the painted silos north-west of Benalla. We achieved everything we set out to do. A good day.
Thank you, docNwitchjy, for this cache.
#4033. Log signed at 1113Hrs.
(I often sign the log book as "W+W" to save paper/time/ink)

The fam stopped here on the way back from mountain bike riding. The good news is we found it. The bad news is the lid is definitely deteriorated. Cache contents have been placed in a fresh zip lock bag, and the cache replaced upside down to keep rain out. Thanks heaps, nonetheless!
Tried the mountain bike tracks nearby and was hoping for some lunch here at Dookie but everything closed. Oh well, got a cache instead except the lid to the cache perished and collapsed in hubby's hands. Thanks for the cache. We had nothing to use as a container but put log book in zip lock bag
“No its not to the left”... as one local cacher was joking. This had us chasing our tails a little. But in the end we had cache in hand. Going to go get a bite to eat now. TFTC TNLS SL. Enjoy the smiles
Lovely small town is Dookie. My 1st ever visit there and my 2nd cache {still got ore to find yet } I would love to have gotten pics of trains before the line closed
A quick find in a cool hidey spot. The container's lid is brittle and has a small crack so care will be needed with handling. SL at 10:52. 9/1/2018 TFTC docNwitchjy

Not being up to caching yesterday with dalerious and Cybergran V, today I found myself with less than the 25 points needed for the last week of the Mary Hyde activity [)]
Hence why after a busy day today with a visit from muff1 on their way home to Kaniva , some housework including changing the mattress in my caravan for a new and hopefully much more comfortable one and also having had almost no sleep last night due to having found a Rotty playing with the traffic and bringing it into the caravan overnight until I could find its owners as tired as I was, I just HAD to go caching!
Contacting dalerious ended up with us both heading out early, returning late and again tonight dogs were involved A couple of lovely Staffies met us in a park and one had its collar hooked under its front leg, so tightly that I still don't know how it could breathe and move!
Finally managed to undo the collar and put it back on properly [^]
Tonight's total was a 4 cache finds of caches that taunt me every time I drive the Benalla Rd [^]
This cache took me some time as it was not where I had GZ on my GPSr and it was not in the obvious spots [)]
In the end dalerious got out the car and he found it for me but not where he had found it previously
This is where we helped the Staffy out

In the area today and just had time to grab a couple before it got too dark. Thanks for the cache.
A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Day 2 of our roadtrip to Shepp & back with my Clarmensma Family - becca85, GemmaSistema, neisha07 & chan02. So much fun! TFTC. Apologies for tardy logging.
Roadtrip time! An overnight trip from Maryborough to Shepp and back again via hefty detours with Team Clarmensma (becca85+GemmaSistema+boo09+neisha07+Ad+Luke+ME!)
We had an awesome time visiting some great places and clever caches. So much fun! TFTC

Each school holidays, GemmaSistema and I team up our 2 families to form Team Clarmensma (Myself, Gemma, neisha07, boo09, chan02, Adam & Luke) and target a n area to visit overnight.
These holidays Shepp was the lucky destination to host us.
We met in Bendigo and jumped in the 7 seater to continue on all together. A great 2 days was had exploring in and around Shepp before getting back to Bendigo in time for dinner.
Thanks for the cache!

With school holidays upon us again Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 5 kids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, chan02, neisha07 and boo09) teamed up for a mini road trip to Shepparton and surrounds. We had borrowed my father in laws 7 seater car so it was all of us in the geo car with plenty of tears and laughter! Today was our second day and we found a heap of caches as we made the "long way" back home (Ballarat/Maryborough). An easy find here - many thanks for the cache!

Catching up on a backlog of logs I do apologise for the lateness of this post.
This one was found out in the open and returned to where I suspected GZ to be.

Found after a short search. We actually picked the hiding spot but didn't look closely enough, searched around and came back. Beware of crawly things in dark spaces when you stick your hands in. SL. Took storm trooper, left stamp. TFTC
Nice quick find for us today, it's a bit chilly but we were looking for at least one find for national geocaching day,,, thanks for making it possible TFTC
Multitasking is fun. Went for a drive hunting out motels. Stumbled across this wonderful little gem. Thank you for a clever hide.
Nice easy drive by, found on our way to Shepparton. What a lovely little park. Although, I'm a bit confused about the Christmas decorations in the trees, are they getting in early?

Finally, the chance to get back and look for it. Took Mrs 103 to Shep for some new clothes and lunch and on the way back I stopped and Bingo, cache in hand and log signed. Had to pretend to make a phone call to re hide the cache because a muggle and his pair of young mugglettes appeared.
Thanks for the cache.

TFTC. Tor and Betsy, the travelling Westies roaming WA at present. We are from Oxenford near the Gold Coast in Queensland and thoroughly enjoying the West.
Quickly found before going to have a coffee in the park.
Signed and replaced. TFTC.

Didn't really look hard for it as there were too many muggles around in the form of school kids on holidays. Will attempt this again at a later date outside of school holidays.
Had 3 dnfs before attempting this one this afternoon and was pleased to see it was a reasonably sized cache and gps led us to gz accurately. So nice to find a sensible geocache. Thanks muchly.
In spit of the bike riders everywhere in the nearby car park was able to log undetected. TNLN TFTC.
Found today on the way home from Wangaratta thanks for the hide of good cache.,
Pull up in this quote little hamlet and there were people everywhere!! It must be the gorgeous autumn weather and tha fact that it's a long week end, anyway I did manage to retrieve, sign and return the cache without detection TFTC
The few muggles that were about today we're all seeking shelter from the heat, and we're either hiding in the shady places or inside with the air conditioner This left the coast clear for a quick find TFTC docNWitchy
"Plenty of parking"
Hah !! You must be kidding !!
You could fire a canon down the main street at 11 O'clock and not injure a soul
Funnily enough the clock tower just happened to strike 11 O'clock as I stepped out of the geomobile and went off in search of a couple of caches [:o]
How cool is that
So while the local muggles crowded the playground, I wandered off trackside in search of the cache
Ooooh !! Easy find once in the right place [^]
TFTC !!
So why does this little 'Dookie' town have such an impressive clock tower ???
I'm sure the next cache will explain that !!

Bettyboo3747 and I wanted to grab a challenge cache in Numurkah, so we travelled a convoluted path to grab some other out of the way caches we had passed by on previous trips.
No joy for us here today, and the pub was still closed so we couldn't even go and drown our sorrows!
We hadn't heard a bout the rail trail, but we did cross it several time today - must come back with the deadly treadlies.
Thanks, Robmc.

We came, we searched, we did not conquer. Think it might be missing. Returned on our way home and had another fossick but still not luck.
Had a couple of looks with some help from a fellow geocacher but were unsuccessful! Hope the cache hasn't been taken
Suscoe was heading back to Benalla after their second day caching in Shepparton.
This was our 23rd find for today. The weather has been kinder today with a little less heat which has been appreciated.
Funny how other folks find these things, We hope the lady searching for her cat who found the cache by accident found the cat safe and sound.
Log signed and on our way.
thanks to docNwitchjy for placing this cache.

I was in the nice little park next door enjoying the shade and getting some info for a multi, and I ninjaed my way over to this one while I was here.
As I got to the spot where the pointy box was telling me, I had a look in a likely spot and a small brown head poked itself out indicating that there wasn't a cache in there, as the small brown head was still attached to the rest of the snake, I gave him a quick "message received and understood" and moved down the other end of the pole and had another look.
This time I came up with a cache that DIDN'T have sharp pointy teeth and a brown head.
I was lucky today as there were 2 large dumpsters in front of GZ so I could log the cache all invisible ninja like, and replace it without being seen.
I bid my newfound slithery friend farewell and thanked him for not giving me a hello bite, and moved on to the rest of the multi.
Thanks docNwitchjy for the cache, and a chance to have a little sit for a while.

We were lucky that our efforts to find this were hidden by two large grundy bins so the muggles attending the nearby function did not see me retrieve, sign and replace the cache, thanks for placing a new one here at Dookie, and thanks Harrowang for the coin
A clever play on words for the title of this one. [^] Have checked out the wonderful antique shop across the road previously, but will have time to do again today. Glad to see another rail trail in operation. SL at 12noon TN Left: glow eagle PT #2339. Loving all these new caches docNwitchjy
This was a cute cache to find. I had a good look at the rail trail notice board and decided to come and walk it both ways some time soon. After that I will have yet another look at the antique store and once again sample the great coffee etc there. TFT beaut cache docNwitchjy. LNTN
Dookie is a great little town with an amazing 2nd hand shop we discovered. Thanks for bringing us here, we have been here before but not the have a look around. Easy find and took TB. TFTC
#991 Found at 11:15am, our 3rd FTF this morning, something we weren't expecting when we woke up. We may of been off the rails but we were on track for a great day. After signing the log we made our way over the road for a cappa and cake. Dropped off another TB, TFTC docNwitchjy.
