After the event nearby I followed datsin and dahumbug on a 4x4 track to find this one. All good with cache. Thanks for the cache.
Found after the event with the others. Thanks datsin for taking me in your 4x4, made life easy for me.Cheers
Found today with a little help from Yella Belly and the Bug. Thanks for placing.RVCL.
I walked from the creek crossing. On the way back I noticed where the easy way would have been. Was a nice walk through. TFTC
We spent a couple of nights in Mount Isa enjoying having a look around. The first afternoon and the next morning were taken up doing the bison series after which we headed back to town picking up as many caches as we could.
Today we e decided to clear up a few caches in town and surrounds before heading to Cloncurry for the next stage of our adventure.
We saw some great sights that we would never have seen without geocaching, this is the main reason we still love the game after nearly 20 years of playing.
We really wanted to try our luck at this one so we followed the instructions to get to gz where it was a little bit rough after the recent rains but nothing too serious. Once at gz we started our search
We started our search and not too much later we located the cache and have happily added our name to the log. It was such a nice place here we stopped and had lunch while admiring the riverbed still flowing a bit.
Many thanks cruzeycoop for showing us this great location.

Left Cunnamulla after QOGM 2021 heading to Sth Australia, Then WA then back to Cairns June 2022. 9 October 2021 9:21 am Tyfc cruzeycoop total caches now 2717
After spending hours in the heat of Mt Isa, we decided to go looking for some sites off the main road, in the comfort of our Wings.
Drove pretty close to GZ but walked the last 140 m.
The calves were as curious as we were. Think we saw a tent on the side.
Thanks for the little detour!

Decided to take a day off from working nearby and head for the 'big smoke'. Stopped along the way for a cache or two..
Day 20 of my trip north from Adelaide.
After camping last night at Clem Walton Park, I was on my way early towards Mount Isa, via Mary Kathleen, picking up a few caches along the way.
It was a beautiful mild morning, which made walking and exploring quite pleasant. But it soon heated up to the low 30s by lunchtime, which for me at least is a bit uncomfortable for any exertion too far from the cool air conditioning in the car. Nonetheless I did make at least one strenuous walk up a hill in search of a cache, but mostly didn’t stray too far from the car.
An interesting little drive to GZ. If it was a bit cooler I’d have liked to explore the creek bed a bit more, but not today.
Thanks cruzeycoop for the cache.

Nice little drive in there, our car made it without trouble. Didn't decode the hint, but found the box with help of a previous logpic, it's easy anyway. Cache is in remarkable good condition only the lid may pop open, since 2 out of the 3 clips are broken.

Hi there cruzeycoop. While on holiday in Queensland we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to cruzeycoop for this cache - our find 7302
This road was probably a little too much for our car but we got to within 130m of the cache no problems. Willpunkey wanted to do some panning for gold after i read the description. There was no water in the river so it was never going to work. Cache in great condition. TFTC
We thought today would be a good day to pick up some caches that were mostly "off the highway" locations.
This was an interesting drive in to the cache and we parked quite close to GZ. Checked out a few possible hiding places before uncovering the right one. All was in good condition and we added our name to the log before leaving.
Thanks cruzeycoop for bringing us here.

We have been spending a few days in Mount Isa and for our last full day decided to take a drive to the old Mary Kathleen mine site and the Ballara Heritage mining trail. Of course we hoped to nab a few caches on the way
Plenty of cows watching our every moooove
Many thanks for the hide cruzeycoop

Today we were heading back to the west so that we could collect some of the caches we had missed a couple of days ago. Leaving the van at Mary Kathleen, I remembered to pack lunch today, as there is no knowing where we will end up, or how long we will be.
This was the 3rd of 3 caches. Thank goodness for the waypoint! On our way back towards the van after visiting the lake and wandering the many tracks down there.
Finding the actual cache was not quite so easy as there are more than a few rocks around. After expanding the search area, it was found about 5 ms from where Monty, aka my GPSr, said it should be. Once CIH, my name was added to the log and then it was returned to its hidey hole.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to enjoy Cruzeycoop. We really enjoyed the area and had a picnic lunch nearby.

It never ceases to amaze us how cachers find these great way out of places for their hides. Great work thank you cache in pristine condition
Camped at Corella dam going back in to Mt Isa today, after leaving the Red Centre Experience picking up a few caches along the way. TFTC
Travelling around Australia and currently visiting Outback Queensland.
A full day out with Tassie Trekkers caching yippee what fun.
A little diversion for us to find this cache after another nearby. (as TT had already found this one.)
We were a bit perplexed as we approached the gate because there was a motorhome parked in the gateway. Well they moved to let us through. We found the cache and returned only to have to get the motorhome to move again.
No water here today but still interesting to visit.

Our first cache for the day while on a drive out from our campsite at Mary Kathleen. The road in was definitely 4WD territory but mostly for the clearance rather than anything else. The river is currently quite dry. Great scenery here and some cows to avoid too. An upside-down gutted car was also spotted along the way. A favourite point for this one from us for the great location. TFTC
TFTC was definitely in a gully, driving through a maize of nice trees and bush lands. Nice find.
Thanks for another stocked cache. No water but nice area. Was being watched by a camel.
A nice drive to GZ area & cache found nicely. River is very dry – not a drop of water to been seen. TFTC / TFTH / SL

We had a short caching day today, just picking up a few nearby caches and exploring the lesser travelled parts of the area.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 5m SW from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Today we ventured off road a bit to pick this cache up. Like the off road driving, plenty of Moooo's around, opened and shut the gate and made an easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

a large delay in logging this find but life doesn't always go as you would like - found on a quick road trip to Mt Isa in May - TFTC TNLN
Very few cachers here, thought it would be good to stop here on my way to the curry today.
There was signs of flood waters quite high up on the banks. A bit concerned as I crisscrossed between cattle and rocks towards gz.
After two circles i spotted something suspicious and it was the hide too.
In good condition and plenty of room in the log.
Thanks for the cache
