Goes missing easily. There is a new structure nearby that would be a better location. I will create a new cache closer to it.
Another DNF for me today - gah! No obvious stumpy thang, although my GPS may not have been particularly accurate in the trees. Very overgrown woth lots of stumpy things which all turned out to be big clods of earth. Boggy underfoot. No wasps though, and a beautiful view ...
Caching trip with busy paws, lytteltonwitch and occasionally others! Hard to spot but got it. Thanks.

Out for a fabulous walk with busy paws, Jude_E, lytteltonwitch and Arandee. A stunning morning, enjoyed the bird song. Took some time to find the hint with all the growth but then found. Thanks for this cache Dieseldebbienz.
Took us ages to find and JudeE was first to spot the cache. I was happy to get rid of the sad blue face from my map
Had me stumped for a while, until I went further off the path. No Wasps

Waded to the hide for the Ad Lab and found this conveniently close, altho not that easy to reach even with wellies on! Log high and dry and a favorite point for a first hide well presented and for our good luck on missing out on wasps, cracks and duck shooters. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks. There was plenty of water to wade through from the domain. Almost knee deep in places. They had both pumping stations running!
Ms_KR and I cruised around some of the highlights of Blenheim today. The weather was fine and windy, and it felt like rain at one stage, but it came to nothing.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

I was aware of the string of DNFs but I thought I may as well have a quick look ... just in case (my GPSr's information was nearly a week old). It's never worked before but it did today and I soon had my hands on a new cache that I assumed had been placed by the cache owner. I have since seen it was Kiwimykl; great work.
Out here doing bullertrout's new Adventure Lab cache. GZ dry today. Replaced cache. Will provide details to the CO later.
No luck today and couldn’t find anything resembling hint item only a trap
Found a big old stump 10m from GZ location, with signs of hide place but no cache. If stump was nearer to path, it may have been cleared from area as another stump is not apparent.
Congrats on your first hide.....guess you have many more by now!
Nice hide in a peaceful spot.
Nice hide in a peaceful spot.
The grass is over head high! Found after a little bit of a search, obvious once you see the right one.
Been in the South Island visiting the grown up kids who are on Uni holidays. Travelling home but mechanical problems means an extended stay in Blenheim. Well more time to cache. Enjoyed a picnic at Maori island followed by the circular walk. Lots of bird life around with birds skimming the water as they flew around feeding. Wonderful to watch. Managed to find all but one of the caches. Cache all fine. Thanks
Visiting from Dunedin. Doing a walk around the lagoon collecting as many caches as possible. No wet feet so far! Lovely spot by the river. Cache was a quick find - probably because it was ?exposed. Replaced as found, but covered from view more appropriately. The hide is a great spot to watch birds - a kingfisher swooped over me just as I was treking to the cache. TFTC
After checking the movement of rain clouds, we packed up and decided to head north for a few days' adventure! I had all active geocaches I have not found yet in the South Island loaded on the GPS, but not particular plan as we only decided that morning. We ended up finding quite a few cool caches and had heaps of fun! Great walk around the lagoon, pity we did not have a kayak!! TFTC!!
Replaced container for a bigger one, double container for log, as this one was very wet. Don't get wet feet!
Found it but was too wet to write in the log book, might be time for a replacement log book. Good hiding spot though!

We missed getting this one last month when we were here getting the others so after a bit of work with the CITO this morning we popped past and got it. Got to within 10m and GPS batteries gave up. Lucky we had a previous finder to point us to the hint. No sign of a trackable though.
Pretty quick find this afternoon. Great hiding spot in a beautiful area! Spotted some pukekos nearby. Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada. Thanks for the cache, Dieseldebbienz!
Umm which side of the lagoon? Slight journey but good walkway. We got there in the end. Nice.
We really enjoyed wandering around the area today, it was not the nicest of weather but the birds did not seem to mind. We spent a bit of time in the shelter watching them and reading the interesting cache page. The cache was soon found and signed and popped back ready for the next finder. Thank you for placing this cache and for the smilie
Arrived at Grovetown Lagoon with the Seagnoid in tow, for the CITO early so got a couple more caches marked off. This is a great place to visit and changing heaps by the efforts of the Lagoon volunteers. Easy find with a little yellow beacon sticking out. Time to get to work. Cheers Thanks DDnz.
Really enjoying my walks round the various parts of the lagoon thanks Dieseldebbienz. No one else round this afternoon. TFTC #8501
Out for a morning of caching with grandson. Nice spot to explore. We enjoyed our walk down this side. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
Out with Nana enjoying some caching locally. Nice spot here for a good explore walk. SL. TFTC.
Out with Jo for a few local caches after she finished work for the day. Today the focus was between Blenheim and the oxbow around grovetown.
Nice easy find this one and thankfully no wasps. TFTC

Decided to introduce the extended family to geocaching. The grovetown lagoon looked like a very good place to start. A couple of geocaches close together and safely of the road. TFTC
A quick easy find after a pleasant little walk, and we're pleased to report no sign of any wasps today, even although it was hot and sunny. TFTC
Great walk on a lovely Saturday morning. This was another quick find on our morning of Caching while in the area. TFTC
Out geocaching on the east side of SH1 between Pukaka Valley and Blenheim with Kiwimykl. He already has this one which could have made it easier for me, but I didn't need his help for a QEF.

After we realised we were on the wrong side of the lagoon, a bit of bush whacking and found! TFTC
We decided another trip to Marlborough was warranted to "do" some multi's which we had been ignoring. In the end though we still ignored them and opted for mainly Traditionals with a few Mystery ones as well.
We enjoyed the walk to this cache although we had to watch our footing near GZ and not only due to the swampy conditions, it seems dogs like this area too! Thank you Dieseldebbienz.

The water was both to swift and to cold so we took the long way around A lovely walk. When the invasive species have been dealt with it'll be a treasure. Thank you Dieseldebbienz
Picked this cache up while taking part in Sport Tasman Winter Explorer series. Multitasking family fun.

Nice first cache. Enjoyed the drive out to a part of town that I had never been to before and then a good walk to GZ.
Interesting name for the road. I expect that steamships came to here from Wellington in the good old days.

This keeping a streak going lark is starting to get on my nerves, so once I've got my next Project-GC upgrade, I'm going to flag it. With that plan in place, I no longer have to conserve local caches, so this afternoon I decided to spend a couple of hours caching in the Grovetown/Spring Creek area, and this was the third cache of the afternoon.
This afternoons caching adventures seem to be taking me on a tour of the regions rowing facilities, and by the looks of it, there is a lot more money behind the club located here than the one where the 'River Rules' cache is located. With the geomobile parked beside the rowing club, I walked along the freshly mown path to GZ. As I approached, I rechecked the cache description an hint and followed a well worn geotrail to the feature mentioned. It was then a short search that had the cache in-hand.
