Thankyou Aslan* for publishing and maintaining this cache.Cache was hard to spot at first, but only took 5 minutes or so.TFTC, Signed log.20/09/2024@4:53:57 PM
Surprisingly I don't have a traditional or South Island cache find today, so I decided to come and find one while I was out and about. Was grateful for the spoiler photo a couple of logs ago as the rust makes it well camouflaged. Thanks for the cache!!
Now it's winter with fewer leaves and thanks to lst photo, a quick find this time.TFTC

Oggi noleggiamo i monopattini e restiamo in zona parco, location molto discutibile.TFTCSaluti dall'Italia.
Found he cache! Took me a while but I went to the most obvious spot. The container is filled halfway wih water and NEEDS MAINTENANCE!!! TFTC
Just picked my bike up from the shop and wanted to give the new tires a spin. This was the nearest one and I had a mystery final nearby so I made the pedal over. Not entirely sure what I found. It certainly doesnt match the spoiler photos. Its a rusty old mint container wedged in the fork of a tree right at GZ. When I took out the log, there was my signature signature! Had I been here before and forgot to log? Thats not really in my character but possible. Did my new tires fail me and I hit my head and Im in some geocache twilight zone? Maybe. So I messaged GV and she confirmed we were in Akaroa the day we signed this log; she even suggested it was likely the log was from GCAE364, after looking at the other logs (ridders76 mentions another cache that had been around there). I suppose I found a recycled replacement!
Enjoying the challanges of cache finds on day 4 of my trip away with tmann421.Thought we were heading into some bad weather but fortunatly turned into a hot sunny day,Signed all logs tm/ww NZThanks to all the cache owners for their efforts
Down in the Christchurch area with woolwood9. Day 4 - another very nice day out.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thank you for the reason to visit this cache and location *Good find here, took a while to spot.*
Found the hide in the spoiler photo but no cache. Noted it has been replaced since that photo was taken so continued searching without luck.
Another month, another challenge. I don't know if I'll manage the full 28 day streak but I'm keen to see how many days I can get out and find caches this month. This is Streak Day 17. Found this cache on my way into the city. Took a wee while to zero in on it but it didn't take too long to spot it. TFTC, Biggles.
In CHCH to pick up my new car. Decided to spend the day here caching and travel home tomorrow.
I didn’t really want to hang around in this spot for too long. There’s a lot of rubbish and also some drug paraphernalia around the place. Obviously a local hang out spot.
Thankfully the cache was a quick find although I felt quite exposed with cars driving past.
Thanks for the cache. Hoping to get enough today for my solstice souvenir.

Could not find sadly! Area filled with rubbish, so fyi for future finders to be careful and don’t bring your kids with you for this one as a result.
Off for a quick morning circuit of unfound caches nearby to our rental. A quick find here. It was tucked into a tree- left it attached more securely.
Good few minutes spent searching around for it. Logs intact but very damp Third of the day on an aurora hunting weekend trip down south. Tftc
Found on the ground amoungst all the rubbish, stuck back in a nearby tree. This area not really suitable for small kids due to al the rubbish about.
Out for a cheeky Saturday ride finding some caches. Caught my eye pretty quick. Tftc
Second time lucky....
Was a quick find this time- don't know how I missed it the first.

This took us a while to find and even a few drops of blood were spilt when a finger was caught on a tree branch. The area has quite bit of rubbish around including broken glass, so great care was being taken during the search not to step on any of it. Cache eventually spotted and log signed. tftc
We had a blank dot day and wanted to find a cache near home. Happy this has been replaced as we had no trouble finding the new cache and log. Nicely done and set up so a fav from us. Thanks for the cache Aslan*.
We thought it would be a quick but sadly couldn’t find it. Even with clue we were 4m a way .
I've been here before, and it wasn't any more pleasant this time. The reception is poor, it's not where the gps points to from out in the clear, the hint points out the obvious, but doesn't narrow down the search area, and it's hard to find something that looks out of place with so much rubbish around. At least the evidence of previous burglaries was gone. [Ba gbc bs gur evqtr naq ng yrnfg rvtug zrgerf sebz gur tengr]
Also there's not much left of the log, but I managed to find a blank spot. Sorry, I didn't have any waterproof paper with me.

Found a bike lock which from previous pictures seems to be related to the cache, dnf the cache though.
Got into the middle of the greenery and was wondering where to start . Turned around and there it was. Nice hide - unfortunately the log is wet. TFTC # 17,428
A quick find this morning after picking up our new car and heading back home. Log was quite wet and may need replacing at some stage. TFTC, Hybrid Theory is now on the play list for the trip home.[^]
Was in Chch for a weekend of activity, including Woolfeast nearby. Seemed rude not to hunt out this neat cache.
Visiting from Nelson to attend the nearby WoolFeast expo, which was a great morning.
Thought it would be rude not to look for this cache.
Relatively quick find after stumbling around in the bushes for a few minutes.

Nice and easy find, both container and logbook were in good condition, thanks Aslan* for this nice hide.
Headed up to Christchurch on Boxing Day for a 3-4 night caching trip, have to be grateful that despite overseas travel plans scrapped for now, we can still move around our beautiful country. Chatting to friends and family overseas, I feel very blessed and want to make the most of our earned freedom. I find caching is a great way to unwind and allow me to recharge ahead of the marathon which will be 2021.
After driving the past couple of days I decided to just enjoy the sunshine and walk around the area and grab some caches. Its an area of mixed property types and you never know what you will find when you turn a corner.
Thank you to all of the cache owners for the caches enroute.
For this cache; a really clever hide, fp awarded. New log paper required - sorry used up spares on others.
The Hybrid Theory was the album on repeat on my cd player when I was a teenager and even now I have the cd in the car.... guess I know what I will listen to tomorrow.
***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***

* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

Team BOP on another crazy mission again to the South Island. Lockdown gave us a lot of free time that we directed into Canterbury’s many Geo-Arts and with the Auckland 2020 Mega postponement, Christchurch was an easy decision. Team BOPs current incarnation is DavidsonClan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed all the logs as Team BOP to save time and log space.
So Labour Weekend 2020, it’s a numbers mission, the Cachly cut’n’paste template is sorted and while I unapologetically use this tool, I truly appreciate you placing this cache for us to find. We were half way through Smurfs but it's time to come in for some lunch. This cache was found quickly and without fuss however the log needs replacing. Cheers Aslan & TFTC

As Auckland Mega has been postponed we decided to do a trip south to Christchurch. Four of us from Team BOP joined up to share a car and accomodation. I always love these weekends as the company is great and makes our days and nights out caching lots of fun. We have done lots of puzzles in preparation and did some long windy roads to get them. Found lots of great caches and thanks to all the COs for the effort that goes into these Please excuse the copied logs and I will try to make some individual notes on as many as I can This sort of trip is where I find the cachly app very valuable. TFTC
On a mission to the south after mega in Auckland was canceled. Team Bop booked airfares and here we are. Thanks all COs for your efforts. Due to numbers please excuse copy and paste logs in advance.
With the Mega Covid cancelled this year a part of Team BoP decided to come south and try get all our solved puzzles, and some others along the way. So here we are! Nice camo. Needs new log.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Came back for another try after seeing the photos in logs. Found the pile of dead trees/branches and moved them all to try and find you. Looked in a wide area but no luck.
Caching with Sidewaze and now catching up on some logs. TFTC - it’s getting colder. Haven't seen Horncastle Arena before
Visiting from Nelson. It's great to have such a wide selection of caches to visit. Thanks for this one .
In NZ touring around with wife, having left Isla at home. As 29 Feb had to rush out and grab some caches, by rushing around the block. Did not get wet recovering this one and managed to squeeze a signature on to log. TFTC
I am down in Christchurch for a short holiday and the friend i was staying with was close by so we went out and locatedthis cache; it took a few moments of searching until the ah ha here it is moment. it was carefully extracted and duly signed along the edge but the log is badly in need of re newal and unfortunately i had used up the couple of extra log strip that i had with me down here in Chch so this does urgently need a new log.
the cache id nicely put together so thank you for this cache and the the little walk to it.

Coordinates are good. It wasn't until now and reading previous logs that it is on a propped up branch. Angie33210 has obviously done a good job in propping it up.
