Headed to Albany for a few days, this cache was another find here on our trip south... We stopped here for lunch & then sent the kids to find this one! They quickly returned as they needed some help to reach the logbook

Day 260 of our 366 day straight challenge. Homebound from a week in Albany and the Stirling Ranges with ChrisRG.
After having lunch in the nearby all ages playground we left the kids with Nanna and Daddy while ChrisRG and I headed over to find this one. Wad much easier than we anticipated, thinking the cache may need some maintenace? Anyway, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC

I think this one may need a bit of maintenance. It was way too easy for the difficulty rating. I am assuming there must be more to opening it.
Anyway we signed the log and replaced as found

The cache itself was an easy find as it really does need a bit of maintenance, accessing the cache took a bit longer and a PAF! Thanks josstaylor!
Freezing wind blowing this morning as we make our way south to home base. Two reasons to visit Katanning today. One to try and find the wo remaining caches for us here in town, and the other to check out the new Dome. Think the camo for this cache has changed since our last visit because it definitely was not there. Also the difficulty is probably a bit high because the camo is separating making it obvious now. Thanks josstaylor
Travelling Australia since March 2014 now we are making our way west for a visit with family.
Stayiing in Dumbleyung for a few days, today we headed out for a drive in the countryside using Geocaching as a guide. Around lunchtime we found ourselves in Katanning!
Some interesting hides and some very busy urban hides which we havent tackled for a while. Yet a fun day out and about.
Fave point for this one.
TFTC and sharing this part of WA with us josstaylor

Camped in the free camp area opposite this park last night. Woke this morning to the unwelcome sound of rain and that really thwarted our plans of riding around the town today and grabbing some caches.
As we were so close we walked across and tackled this one first.
It was found fairly quickly and it was a clever way to start the day. It also set a high standard for the rest of the town.
Thanks and a favourite point from us.

Found it on a caching trip to Katanning to stay at the new Premier Mill Hotel with Hally 4. TFTC
Went straight to it but took us a little while longer to get access. Was a clever hide! Thank you!!!

Myself and KiwiNic are on a geocaching adventure weekend to the Katanning area in the hope to complete our 100 for the month and get the turtle souvenir this was a great cache and i wish there were more like it TFTC:)
With the extended family heading south for the weekend a plan was hatched to go on a slight detour to get some caching done with MissNerdBerger. Our plan? To grab a few on the way down to Denmark and finish up with the family in Nannup.
Stopped off for fuel in town and while MNB had a pit stop for herself we looked for this cache, had a fairly good idea where it was but unable to get the log in hand, I’ll add it to the list and hopefully be back soon to change the result from today.

I was dialling Pood for a hint but Mr 2+4 worked it out before I had finished. TFTC
We had a little bit of time to visit town and find some caches so targeted some of the more difficult ones. This one was next. We soon spotted something and then had a wonder. We tried something and access was soon gained. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Up in katanning for the week for work short walk from hotel to get the smiley. Clever hide but was out in the open when I found it so put it back the best I could TFTC
DNF but not for lack of trying!!! We think we know where abs what it is but can't work out how to get the cache ... Be interested to know if we were on the right track ... www.thesoloavocado.com

After caching in Nyabing with iluvtrekking in the morning we headed back to Katanning to grab a few more caches on our weekend foray. No luck for us today. CO needs to amend co-ords on the listing.
Four sets of eyes could not locate this cache. The CO needs to change the listing page to reflect the new coordinates.
Have placed a new cache and log after the previous one was smuggled,. New spot as well Happy Hunting.
Had a good look around because we had the park to ourselves but unfortunately couldn't come up with the goods. I wonder if it's been muggled as there was some debris strewn around...
Staying in the motel just across from the park decided I had to turn it into a smile quick find first of this type TFTC josstaylor
Stopped off here to have some lunch and was surprised when we turned the GPS on that there was a cache only metres from where we were sitting. A quick search by young TTW soon had the clever cache revealed . First time we have found one of these containers though we have seen them advertised in the Geo stores. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache josstaylor.
Headed to KA last weekend and forgot to send all the found logs so here we go. Sorry for late logs. It was a great day out with B12 and Cravo10. TFTC TFTC
Met b12 in Katanning today and joined forces to get some local caches and some FTF up for grabs. Itskate came along for the adventure and despite the cool winds its was a great long day.
Luckily a nice quick find here
After staying at the caravan park in Katanning, geoson and I did a bit more exploring (ok, ok ... caching) before we headed away towards home. We managed to find this one on our travels and added our name to the log!
josstaylor - jinta29 found your cache Lions Park on 18/07/2015 7:26 am. This is my find #3457 and find #2 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Found it this time. Had a quick look before but couldn't find it. Looks like they are doing more extensions here. Ebenie
We found one the same yesterday so this was a quick spot for us.
We decided to cook breakfast while here as it has everything we need.

Staying in Katanning for the weekend and saw that there was lots of caches here. Had a great variety but some DNFs due to bad co-ords but besides that it was a good day.

Clever cache, enjoyed the find. A few muggles around, but I think we fooled them. Found with allinaday. TFTC!
Knew what we were looking for....having found one previously, and a quick find was made. It was laying out in the open.....not sure if that was really where it was supposed to be, so have relocated it as close as possible to GZ. Thanks for a fun cache josstaylor.
Haha, very clever! I was a little reluctant to touch it but did because it was the only thing that I thought it could've been. Thanks for previous hint from previous find...!
There are muggles around as it's an open area & cops drive by as Lion's park runs along the Main Street.

TFTC, not a nice place to be a night without mosquito repellent! Cheers for all the new caches Joss, if I wasn't so lazy I could've had a few FTFs
FTF! Around 9am. Made the journey to Katanning today after seeing two new caches drop earlier in the week and a few more last night.
Was a good drive up from Albany, a bit later than I would have liked, thinking maybe someone else had their eye on the FTF's.
This was my first for the day.
All were in good condition and nicely placed. Thanks joss.
