###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Steep both ways !!
That was all the excuse I needed to drive to this cache

Really nice location and super easy find. Thanks to TheAngryBirds for this one.
Just a note - needs some attention. Lid of container is badly cracked, it doesn't clip shut properly, and as a result the log is badly crumpled from water damage.
Out and about with 6hinemoa2 and 08151605 to attend the 2 events in Ballarat today and find a few smilies along the way.
Great view from up here and whilst 08151605 was on the phone, I quickly made the find. Thanks TheAngryBirds2014

Unfortunately the rain has just set in so the views are limited and disappearing fast..
However, we can appreciate the surroundings.
As we looked back the way we came Mr Riddell commented that the road weaved on into the distance like a contorted licorice strap.
It certainly is steep both ways!

Found by Mary & David at 1335. After lunch at the Creswick Bakery, we are feeling much more content. Stunning views on a wonderful second day in Ballarat. A roller coaster drive back down the hill. Our thanks to TheAngryBirds2014.

*Who could wish for a more enjoyable area to spend time, than in and around the Creswick Regional Park? A wonderful area for walking, riding, exploring and of course geocaching!*
We enjoyed a DNF free day, among fascinating fungi, carefully hidden and well maintained caches, such as this one, which we picked up just before getting to the park.
Thanks to TheAngryBirds2014 for placing this cache.

Looking at my stats after finally getting a smiley on that pesky day of the year, I dithered over which challenges to concentrate on next, and realized a bunch of hidden months from the early days were covered by hides not too far out of Ballarat. In Victoria, I can potentially tick off twelve of the twenty blank months in the chart, and nine of those are within striking distance... I think we have a winner.
Well, today, I've managed to cross two of those off my list: the first in Enfield State Forest, and the second atop Mt. Gorrin just before sunset. Whew! What a trek that was... but well worth it for the view and the smiley.
Honestly, I don't know much about the view... it was quite dark when I was here. This cache just happened to pop into view on the GPSr as I was cutting through the back roads toward the city. All in good nick, and another smiley.
Thanks, TheAngryBirds2014.

Todays adventures involved visiting the Ballarat region. The trio of myself, Ausfox! and Bentley set off to chase some caches. The weather held off and worked out for a great day! Thanks Ballarat for providing a great series of quality caches, puzzles and DT!
Well done on your first cache. Nice views here

I'd actually driven up this hill (and back) on one of my many drives between Ballarat and Bendigo, seeking interesting alternative routes so it wasn't completely new to me. Only recently, however, did I notice that a cache had been placed there. Being in the area, I thought I'd return to this hill to make the find. The view from the top was spectacular of course, and I was very happy to have the excuse to get out and admire it again while searching for the cache which didn't take long due to good coordinates. It was very windy on top of the hill today - love that wind!! Thanks for bringing me here today and thanks for placing a cache in this wonderful location!
found after an enjoyable Christmas day at the in-laws and now driving home. A lovely view, but now home with the kids to bed, as we are all tired out!
Out caching with Stashaa on a great geocaching day. Great view from the top. TFTC TheAngryBirds2014.
No worries here. All good. Really fantastic views up here as you said. It would be equally as silent and good at night too.

I had a specialist appointment in Ballarat today, so I decided to take full advantage of the time before and after the appointment to grab a few caches.
On the way past I decided to pop past and grab this one. My brother-in-law had fun riding his pushbike up here one year. It was a hot day and he make the big trek up. A car came up behind him and followed just behind. The lady in the car kept yelling out things from the window like "Come on, get the pace up", "Move it" etc.
Well the brother-in-law got pretty upset with this and when he finally got to the top of the hill he pulled up ready to give a piece of his mind. The lady pulled up next to him and offered him an ice-cold bottle of water and told him that there was no malice at all and she was just trying to encourage him.
He had a chuckle, a cold drink and headed off.
I am not sure I would have had such a cool head. Alas no-one riding or 'encouraging' today. Just me, a log and a pen.
Put the pen to log and all was well.
I slipped the car into neutral and enjoyed the roll back down the hill

Driving home from a weekend cut short in Bendigo, this one came up as I had Ballarat and home almost within sight. As per my last find - a few mins before, I was hoping I'd be able to access this with the totally wrong shoes and clothes for caching on. There wasn't too many places a cache could be, so it was quickly in hand and logged, and then I stood there for a few minutes taking in the fantastic view that surrounded me, along with the stillness and quiet of "Silent Hill". This spot was just what I needed today, peace along with a message that we can see as far ahead of us as we want too, we just need to climb the hill, in order to be able to see away in the distance. Great place for your first hide, well done. My thanks to TheAngryBirds2014 for the cache and for bringing me up here today. Adding a fave, for the view.
A quick driveby but I spent some time to enjoy the view, thanks for bringing me here.
Found this afternoon with our regular Wednesday afternoon caching group. Gee you really need to look out for traffic coming up the hill on this one! Thanks for the hide The AngryBirds2014.
Caching this afternoon with Glanville Girls, Nettie1234, Motndarg, The Lookabouts, Beckster22, Tomstache, Rehfisch Clan, Geograndma and our muggle friend, this was a nice quick find by the geokids. The weather was perfect, the view was great. Now for some arvo tea! Thnaks TheAngryBirds2014.

Nice arvo drive after school. Geokid found this one. Caching this arvo with geofriends. Great cache now for afternoon tea. Thanks
Thanks for the cache, cool cache. We found it quickly this afternoon. Thanks for the hide.
Nice easy cache which is refreshing, a regular spot of ours and great to see the storms rolling through ballarat. Not so silent when the ride on lawnmower muggle comes tearing out his driveway though!
