TFTC Completed the whole walk and found all caches. Some were a challenge as the grass was thick and long. Luckily no snakes today.
The walk is a great way to start the caching day,
and get out there in the fresh air and scenery
A short stop at the info sign about the local birds,
and I was on me way again to GZ.
A quick find,
but the logbook is still damp ...
.... but drying out thanks to its sheltered hiding spot,
and warm weather

On walking to this cache we found the ANW 2 cache. Both caches have wet log books TFTC
After a slight detour due to a family "emergency" we were now 'back on track' for day two of our four week holiday. By back on track we mean going a totally different way to that which we had planned so we are making it up as we go along.
By now we needed to stretch our legs and get some steps up on our respective step counters. What better way tot do this than to complete this series.

My goodness it was boggy out here . and not good for the wrong footwear...decided not to attempt the track to No. 4!!
Was this log wet or was it no. 2?

Dr Owl was suggesting a weekend away to tackle some adventurous caches in a disputed area of Mexico and to spend some quality time with Muff1. Who was I to say no! Extensive use was made of the Muffmobile and Mrs Muff came along for the ride and to poke fun at our caching efforts.
One of the Apsley Nature Walk series finds. The late afternoon sunlight through the trees created interesting shadows and patches of colour.
Thanks for the cache jgc3.

This was my first cache since arriving from interstate, like just over the border from SA Drove down a track until I met a really soft sandy section so stopped and walked from there. This was probably a good decision as my record for getting embarassingll bogged is quite spectacular. A pleasant walk and a quick find TFTC jgc3
This cache was found as part of a 28 hour caching odyssey around the Wimmera and Upper South East with TT016. A total of 670 km was covered in the trusty old GQ Patrol on the way to 93 cache finds. Caches collected included the Rusty Rail Series and the SA or VIC? puzzles, which were all found at night!
Geez... I've been finding lots of your caches lately haven't I??

We split up to grab these then had fun trying to find each other again! Nice little series, love this area SL TFTC
I'd been around here before but never had time to do it. I think it was bucketing this time last year so we had to give them a miss. But not today. A quick look and then another look had us locate the caches without too many dramas. Very dry and not a drop in the lake.
Thanks to jgc3 and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^]
We've been through Apsley a few times now, but either was late or bad weather to go for a walk previously.
Today we swung via this litte trail on our way to Horsham.
A nice walk in the park, however very dry and no water in the lake either!
All were found easily, although a couple had wayward co-ords that the hint helped with.

Thanks jgc3 from Hurtle

Travelling homeward: Naracoorte SA to St Leonards Vic multiple breaks and lots of smilies in 12 hours. We spent around half an hour riding this nature walk, we saw kangaroos, kookaburras, parrots and heard corellas as we visited each of the caches.
Our thanks to jgc3 for creating this interesting trail.

Nice spot.
We were out here the other day on dark and it was getting to dark to find these caches.
So returned today.
Thanks for bringing us out here.
Cache in good order.

I was off on my biggest, single day, road trip. I left home at just after 7am and didn't get home until just after 11pm. I ended up with just over 670ks travelled, 29 smilies one being and event, and 3 Trig point discoveries, this included even heading interstate for 3 grabs.
There was many sights to see and even the odd fence jump for caches or photos. I think I managed to see every colour of mud that Western Victoria has on offer and I have a nice collection of it now in my drive way. I even had my pushbike on board and ended up peddling 5ks for 6 finds.
The main reason for my bike coming along was to save time and ride this small trail of caches. and boy was I glad I did. I don't think I could have gotten in to the lake with my ute... all that sand, I would have beached it.
It was a great day for a ride in the bush and I was happy to be seeing some country side I would have not seen if it was not for this trail.

As we were running out of time before our appointment in Naracoorte so legged it back to the car and drove to the remaining caches in this series. TNLN TFTC
Found while on a dive to Mt Gambier for the Geozing Race. These were a great little trail to stretch my legs on. A nice quick find. TFTC.
TFTC. Found as part of the Big Little Event II on Naracoorte. Lovely area.
A lovely morning for a beautiful walk with upsanddowns and my geo family. Made it to all 5 in this series before the weather changed to a windy and wet afternoon. Highlight on this walk was the echidna.
In Naracoorte with Genghicat for BLE2 & grabbing caches around the area.
FTF with Genghicat.
Great walk

In Naracoorte for the BLE this weekend and thought we'd snag a few caches along the way
A nice walk here this afternoon, although Mrs KQ thought she'd be clever and find a short cut back...needless to say she needed Mr KQ to come rescue her haha

Second joint FTF with Donnazev for the day on a nice Nature Park walk. Left a TB there for someone to find and continue on its journey. Really pleasant walk.
Left the NZ Mega 2013 Geocoin 3 TB for someone to find.

A quick find while visiting Naracoorte for the BLEII. Had to leg it between the 4 Nature walk series, as we only had 1/2 an hour to do 1 - 4 before meeting at the night cache to go to dinner.. Took Geocoin..TFTC
Found on the return from the lake when fellow cachers helped out as we did not have the co-ordinates. TFTC
