Spending a bit of time travelling around WA wheatbelt checking out the wildflowers.
It took a searching to find this one. I spent all my time searching the sculpture and was about to give up but as I was walking back to the car I spotted something else, yes that was it.

On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. We are enjoying the many friendly towns along the way, whether staying in the CP’s or camping out. So far, we have found every cache that we have looked for, and hopefully our streak will last as we move around to the next town and beyond. Thank you so much to the CO’s of every cache for placing them for our enjoyment. They certainly bring you to many spots that you might not stop at otherwise.

Out in the Wheatbelt again for the second consecutive weekend. This weekend the plan was to attack a number of towns in the North Eastern Wheatbelt and attend the FOTT event in Minnivale. It was a terrific weekend. Thank you to all the COs involved in providing entertainment this weekend.

Nice quick find. Out and about on our 3rd day of a nine day adventure TFTC

Take care near this cache as I managed to tread on some fencing wire sticking out of the ground, It went through my shoe and into my foot. Only about an inch high.

Needless to say getting back into the car and away from flies to do a bit of first aid to stem the blood was more important than the smiley.
At least it means cache is hear for next time

A quick find on our way home from a long weekend at Eagle Rock! TFTC

Had a great couple of days away travelling the Wheatbelt. We got as far north as Beacon, as Far East as Elachbutting Rock and as far south as Kwolyin.

We spent the first night af Elachbutting Rock with Geotrakka and the second night with around ten teams at Kwolyin.

We metup with Richlink to attempt some high terrain caches near Mukinbudin, where multiple people was a nescessity for safety purposes.

We enjoyed travelling the backroads, camping under the stars and seeing amazing sights without all the people.

Great weekend away and have uploaded a bunch of pictures with the logs.

Thanks to the COs fat and wide for their caches and a great weekend.

I wanted to collect some more LGA’s in the wheatbelt areas and today was the day to get it done .... total round trip was 1250kms 15 hours of driving to collect 22 caches ..... Thanks to all the CO’s for maintaining there caches as we had no DNF’s for the day .

Leaving WA we still need a few more LGA so Mukinbudin was on the must visit list.

A rejig of our plans saw us staying for 2 nights here instead of Westonia. Nice little caravan park which we were happy to stay at on unpowered site and use the Fabulous camp kitchen.

Good Friday sees me heading into the northern wheatbelt to clear out a few caches and cross off another 5 LGAs.

Headed out early and headed for Goomalling for the first stop. Then headed further north.

Day 9 of our Adventure to the northern Goldfields and now in the Wheatbelt. Megawat60 and I freecamped at Beringbooding Rock, then today we head for Mukinbudin.

This trip out had been a long time in the planning.
Krabiboy and I had hatched a plan and probably changed it about 10 times. dallyho joined us, final plans were set, and off we went

Our Wheatbelt trip started again this morning in Bencubbin after heading from Perth yesterday. We headed north to Beacon and then east to Bonnie Rock and Mukinbudin.

We enjoyed checking out the steel creations along this road, and glad we made the effort.

This is my find #2936 and find #18 today.

After a slight change of plans we decided to make Mukabudin our overnight stay. After sorting our accom out in town and getting some much needed fuel we ducked back out to grab just a couple more caches. Interesting cache here. Tftc

Stopped on a wet day. The signs were stop signs not give way signs but the cache was located easily. Coming down the road the big steel boxes are being used artistically the first one we saw were painted as a pair of dice, one we noticed was a rubik's cube , there was a jack in the box and we did see another one where a windmill was making the legs of a horse move. The one here had the eagles logo painted on it. Maybe another couple of caches can be put out.

Not a vehicle to be seen for miles, then as soon as we pull over... the'yre everywhere! A quick find once they passed even though there was a mean and vicious spider that had made home in 'the hard place'. SL. Thanks to Allbehind for the cache.
