On our way to Beacon with GrobbyGypsy, we decided to look for this cache on our way through. It turned out to be an easier find than we were expecting. Its a shame about these little towns slowly disappearing!TFTC Allbehind
Dry quiet around here nowadays.Tennis and golf still look to be popular with someone. We hadnt expected to drive out this far but very happy to pick up a cache in this LGA. Tftc
Searching a little off track before being rewarded by re-reading the description. Signed and replaced as found.
Interesting how a town can virtually vanish if not for those who had marked the locations with signs and plaques like this. TFTC

On our roadtrip to desert country (Bonnie rock, Kalgoorlie and ghost towns). A quick leg stretch and a cache, tftc!
On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. We are enjoying the many friendly towns along the way, whether staying in the CP’s or camping out. So far, we have found every cache that we have looked for, and hopefully our streak will last as we move around to the next town and beyond. Thank you so much to the CO’s of every cache for placing them for our enjoyment. They certainly bring you to many spots that you might not stop at otherwise.
Out in the Wheatbelt again for the second consecutive weekend. This weekend the plan was to attack a number of towns in the North Eastern Wheatbelt and attend the FOTT event in Minnivale. It was a terrific weekend. Thank you to all the COs involved in providing entertainment this weekend.
Really interesting location Wialki is. So weird to think of what once stood here. Found the cache without difficulty. Cheers Allbehind!

Hail Mary we found it. We used to live at Nungarin so it’s a memory to tour through here. Take care
Staying in Mukinbudin with friends for a few days. Headed up to Wialki to visit the family farm, then headed over to Beringbooding Rock and Elachbutting Rock to the East. A full day out.
Quick cache find here. TFTC

On the second day of a weeks holiday just driving around stopping where we feel like it. Spent last night at the Koorda caravan park now heading east then north and then to wherever.
No chance of getting on knees here to may ants running around, had to take cache back to safety of the car to sign log and even then I took some with me.
Last one for the day now time for some dirt roads, whats a holiday without a bit of dirt.

Great little hide.
Log roll was full so I replaced it.
I have the old one if you want it back.

My muggle mate proudly found this one first. Out and about in the wheatbelt enjoying the wildflowers. Grabbed this on our way back to our accommodation. Thanks for placing this and thanks for adding a smiley to my day
Having a nice touring day today and found this wee baby almost deserted. Shame about rural depopulation but truth is it's been going on for many decades and left rural communities decimated. Thanks for bringing us here to reflect on times gone by.
Wialki is actually my brother in laws home town. He was probably christened in the old church. TFTH. Nice easy find. Log is getting a little fragile
Nothing moving in this town today. Sad to see that the building had been removed- probably converted to someone’s abode elsewhere. Quick find - our gps said 4mts. Thanks Allbehind
Thank goodness we did not have to take the hint to literally. TFTC Allbehind
What a desolate spot!
After camping at the very peaceful Mukinbudin Caravan Park last night we headed off on day 2 of our Wheatbelt Tour.
This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there Allbehind, I was in this area today and found your cache What went on here? GC5DP5X. I added my name to the log book at 11:34 am on 29 September 2019. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

You feel a strange feeling of loss when you drive into this little town. Thanks for bringing us here Allbehind.
Leaving WA we still need a few more LGA so Mukinbudin was on the must visit list.
A rejig of our plans saw us staying for 2 nights here instead of Westonia. Nice little caravan park which we were happy to stay at on unpowered site and use the Fabulous camp kitchen.

Despite the weather, some fantastic finds and a few dnf's were had.
A big thanks to all the co's for placing and maintaining these hide. Great work showing off some real gems of the wheatbelt.

On our way to Beringbooding Rock towing our home on wheels, we had to stop and find this cache in such an isolated historic place. What a shame so many of these little towns died out. TFTC
Day 2 of our Wheatbelt trip and another 425km bringing the total to 1050. 18 caches found today. A great day with some great locations.
This trip out had been a long time in the planning.
Krabiboy and I had hatched a plan and probably changed it about 10 times. dallyho joined us, final plans were set, and off we went
Not sure what happened but a cache was found
Allbehind - Kyzabra found your cache What went on here? . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Our Wheatbelt trip started again this morning in Bencubbin after heading from Perth yesterday. We headed north to Beacon and then east to Bonnie Rock and Mukinbudin.
A nice quick grab here in what must have been a bust spot of yesteryear.
TFTC Allbehind.
Allbehind, I found your cache What went on here? on 6/08/2016.
This is my find #2922 and find #4 today.

Day two of kyzabra, krabiboy and mine adventure of Wheatbelt Way. After 600 kms yesterday, were expecting much the same today. Quick grab here and back on our way. Tftc
Passing through on our Easter trip. Was a quick find but the writing on the log proved a sight with us all doing the Stomp to keep some little black ants off our feet. The dance worked and the log was signed. We decided to drive the long way round to Bonnie Rock as they had recorded 35mm of rain out here and dragging 2.5 tonne of caravan on a wet gravel road doesn;t do them much good.
thanks for the cache
thanks for the cache
TFTC! Found on a day trip to the Wheatbelt to grab a bunch of caches and enjoy the countryside. At a quick look; around 12hrs driving for 900km, 29 finds, couple of DNFs.
Was a great day out, attended wyalcatchems first geocaching event, found a bunch of archived caches that were still in place and mostly in good condition. Saw some wonderful sights (see pics in logs). Thanks to all the COs.

Right out in the open, but no one around to watch us - so a quick find. SL. Now to head towards Mukinbudin for the night. Thanks to Allbehind for the cache.
Found cache whilst travelling the Wheatbelt Way. Couldn't sign log though as ha forgotten to bring log removal tool and this one was very tight. TFTC Allbehind - we love remote caches like this one that take you to an item of interest.
I celebrated St. Pat's day by doing a loop of the northern part of the Central Wheatbelt. I found this one at 13:35. GPSr was a couple of metres off, but a bit of though showed the way. An appropriate find for today. TNLNSL TFTC Allbehind.
Ikillah bet us to the FTF but happy to find this one, it's a good hide and interesting stop.
