Kids had a great time singing and shouting into the 'Echo Chamber's Found alot of places were the cache could have been hidden but didn't manage to find it today.
Hunted for ages and found lots of lovely hidey holes, complete with spiders and turkey access, but alas no cache.
No joy today, but a very interesting and secluded spot to search in away from prying eyes. Must come back sometime with the grandsons.
Morning business in Wacol and a cache along the way.
The resident scrub turkey has been busy but not yet found the cache.
Thank you for hiding this one

Out for a quick ride this morning, and a few extras on the way home. This big kid went in to the tunnel for a quick echo before hunting for the cache.
Really nice and calm place for kids to explore, the description really helps for finding the cache.
The geodaughter and I had parked the geomobile nearby and headed for gz. The cache was located after we hunted around and eventually looked from the right angle. Tftc Kloof73!
This one had us a little stumped, looking here and there and here and there again. GPS wasn’t really helping either. Perseverance paid off and I soon heard ‘found it’ from reezielou. TFTC!
What a fun little location can see why the kids would enjoy it. Took way longer then it should’ve to find this one. Shame about the amount of rubbish in the area. TFTC
Was in the area today and wanted to find some caches. A bit of a search, then had it located. Signed the nice new log & replaced as found. TFTC
Resurrected this cache, as was my first hide and just seems right to get it back in play.... who will be first to find it again...
Appears this cache has been removed from original location as is no longer in play

Sunday. Mr SP was out with No1Scotty following a game of golf at Oxley. After taking a stroll down alongside the creek and past someone's house that had kangaroos/wallabies in their back yard (fenced!) we found the location and Scotty used his increasing unerstanding of the game to quickly narrow down the hidey hole for the container and he was spot on!
This was the 13th of 14 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Kloof73***, for showing us this place.

About in the area finding caches for the souvenirs challenge. A quick find and left some swaps as the cache was bare.
Found on 23 March 2018. TFTC, Kloof73.

My GPS had me hunting in the wrong area for a while, so I scratched about like the scrub turkey and thought this can't be right. Looked about and thought 'where would I put a cache', wandered over and there it was. Ha ha, all good here Kloof73 thanks for the cache.
Good little spot for a geocache. I signed the log and replaced as found. I saw this cute toy not far away. Tftc
aaaargh! What better named cache could a pirate capt'n named echocage1 find on an afternoon of plundering treasure hides for virtual gold coins! Although this one only scored our crew 5 golden coins i liked it anyway. It will now score a favourite point and a free 'No Need to Swab the Deck' ticket, a highly prized treasure among my motley crew! TFTC Kloof76
A great afternoon of geocaching has brought us to this area. Cache quickly located and logged signed. Put away safe from turkeys. Collected the trackable and taking him far away from the sea! TFTC
Enjoyed a trip out to Forest Lake today, specifically looking for a cache with pirate in the name or theme to drop a TB off brought over from the UK a recent holiday. This was a pleasant walk and a nice surprise to find that there were a few caches in the area. Tftc
**# 17224** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another warm sunny winter day for a drive around the area once again.
Not many muggles around and a good quick find here.
Thanks for the cache Kloof73,

Out with with Selva Girls and Geo mum to get in a bit of Geocaching!
Strangely, we had been here before but not signed the log. I marched straight up to the cache from where I remembered it being. Why did we forget about it? Hwo knows, but all done and dusted today.
Log signed and replaced. Found at 4.00pm on 28th May 2017. TFTC.

Why do I challenge myself (lately) to pick caches that were DNFs by other cachers? I thought I'd try this one because it has a trackable listed. But searched until my phone battery went dead to no avail. I had said "Oh, I'll just do the next close by cache (Riley's Treehouse for instance) if I cannot find this" but thanks to the phone battery that wasn't to be either.
I would warn people, if you are straying from where the GZ is, according to the GPS - do be cautious of where you step! I managed to step down a very deep hole...almost knee height or at least 3/4 up my thigh that was concealed by grass etc...so I am a little scratched and worse for wear on one leg. It is close by to a freshly cut piece of tree branch.
It looks like the area saw quite a bit of water recently wash through here. I DID think that the cache might have been washed away in the 30-31 March flooding but I just asked for a PAF...and the last finder of the cache told me a location that I didn't search around thoroughly. So it is probably still there...best of luck to the next cacher...

Tried again with a PAF from SeffnJarah and FINALLY found it (in the dark tonight). Now back home to watch Dr Who. Thanks for TBs SeffnJarah.
I was needing to find a cache today to help me qualify for a challenge cache that I had signed the logbook for. This cache didn't require too long of a drive from home so I ducked in this afternoon. I had to park a little up the road away from some muggles congregating in a front yard. I decided to access GZ from the opposite side and under the road to avoid the attentions of said muggles. Once at GZ I searched a couple of places my phone indicated (I had been too lazy to load up the GPS), but I came up empty handed. As I stood back to contemplate further, I spotted an ideal cache-hiding location that I had not yet searched and sure enough the cache was quickly found. Dropped a TB that I picked up while overseas. TFTC
You really don't need to be a child to enjoy these places, you just have to not care what other people think of you. We did not see the scrub turkey and there was no echo's today. YES, there was a spider. SL TFTC
Tftc! Our little 7 yo lateral thinker always seems to hone in on the 'obvious' hiding spots yay!
I am working in the area again today so made tume to find a couple of caches while in this neck of the woods.
After I found a nearby park it didn't take me long to find the hunting ground. Now let's see... where would I hide a cache here? Over there? Well blow me down, there is the stash. Nice and dry in its hide and now my name is in the log.
I couldn't resist trying out the echo chamber, having an awkward conversation with myself.
Thank you for the cache here, I even saw a couple of bush turkeys enjoying the drizzle.
Cheers
-- This log is trackable ! --
-- Feel free to discover --
-- Please mention, in which cache you've seen this code: --

Quite interesting to be in the area again, as I am sure that I had been here before looking for (and I thought found) a cache just the opposite side to this bridge, either way that one is gone i think and this one now here, so I want to take a look. Considering the area I end up ignoring the phone and looking in the most obvious somewhat secure spot and sure enough cache in hand and log book signed.

TFTG enjoyed that
Loads of places it wasn't but eventually found that spot !! One spider only !

After the second look I found it. Looked in the spot where the cashe was first time round but didn't look far enough
I had a mission to gather a cache or two today, to add the souvenir to my profile for the end of 2015. Three unfound caches in Forest Lake made a perfect detour on the way to to work this morning, meaning I had a plan...
With a brand new GPS out for its first day of hunting, I kicked it into gear, but it suggested the container was 184m up; the road. Hmm, that's not right and not a good start for the gadget... I went hunting freelance as I knew the rough location of the cache. Down the bank, I scanned around and spotted the container from the path. Aha...
Over to the hiding spot, out with the cache and log, I added my name to the list and tucked everything back.
A good start to the day.
Cheers

Was on the wrong side of creek at first but the moved to the side of the path and found it.
Having been out caching in the morning I was having problems with my car leaking water so I took some time to sort out a new radiator and was on my way to pick it up and passing back through this area... this was one of 3 caches that I had to get that were close to home (just never seem to have time when I am near home) so I decided I would get them done This was first on the list.... wasn't a long search... took longer to get the cache out and dodge the spider webs Log signed.... I played with the little torch in the cache... super cute... returned everything and replaced cache

I had to visit Forest Lake at a time to pick up some stuff for a thing. However, it turned out quite unusually, that I was early and had time to spare. Well, what does a geocacher do with spare time? I could've planned a new hide, bought some new containers online, finished the logging from months ago, painted the new geocaches at home, peered at a map, tried solving a puzzle, wondered how many miles on my car are due to geocaching or found a closeby hide. That last one will do us nicely.
The Lancer was parked right across from this one and headed over the edge. No turkeys, hardly any water and no spiderwebs. It only took a moment or two to spot the container from afar, get in position and have it in hand. I signed the logbook and replaced as found. A little explore for me although I still haven't a clue about the geocache name just yet - maybe there's more in the series coming.
By now enough time has been killed, I'm off to grab my things and stuff. Thanks for this geocache, Kloof73

Out and about in the area before staying at a friends place tonight.
Slowly making my way towards his place.
I parked a short walk away and once at GZ I tried quite a few places unsuccessfully before I spotted a likely spot. Then through a few spider webs and ... BINGO. [^]

Won the way home and this one was on the way...how could I resist! No problem with the find in a safe little spot. I do wonder what the name of the cache is all about!!! Thanks for the cache.
Went out to do some shopping, and grabbed a few caches in the area.
Located the cache quickly. There is a lot of water damage to this area, from recent rain.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Kloof73, for us and others to find.

This was a relatively easy find for me today. That doesn't happen very often. The cache is nice and dry and I picked up two trackables to move on. Thank you for bringing me here.

Found this cache in good condition after a leisurely walk to GZ. Took the TB. TFTC
Like many previous finders we too remember visiting this area for another cache.
Found this one easily. It's in great condition. Dropped off 'Friend' TB.

I recall visiting here for a find before. Guess that cache is history. This one was quick find thanks to accurate coordinates. Had to move an eight legged cache guardian to access the log but he seemed OK about the whole thing. TFTC
cache find #2959 We remember a cache very near by not so long ago. MrGT54 found this cache. No turkeys around today. TFTC.
