As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

This has been missing since March, and no response to a NM in April. After nine months of inactivity it's time to shut this down.
Judging by the last couple of log entries this has gone MIA. Could we have a CO check please?
No pen but yay....my 30th find. Thanks... now find that local dairy for some strepsils!
Find #2685. Early start to a 45km cycle from Korokoro end of foreshore to Eastbourne, up to Waiwhetu and return to start. Mostly calm day a gently rising northerly as the day progressed. Early start meant few people around making hunting easy. Quick find. SL TFTC
On an afternoon cycle ride from Melling on the River Trail, beside the Waiwhetu Stream to Te Whiti Park, up the Riser, along the Pylon Track to the Wainui Road down the Hill and via Bell Road and Whies Line West onto the cycle Track and home. Bright sunshine, little wind, ya can't beat Wellington on a good day. TFTC
I was out for dinner with the family this evening. We were dropping some football gear off near this location on the way home and had a few minutes to kill. We decided to try and find this one to fill in some time.
Thank you

Thanks for hiding this one my pen seemed to part with my pocket on my run here so hopefully a photo will do
Headed along to check out this cache in the park. A short search and cache was found. Looks like the camo would have concealed it well - shame it's almost all off. Signed the log and left as found - thanks for the placement.
#2012 A stop and walk to GZ yielded a relatively quick find in this fish bowl park. All good at GZ with regards dry log etc.
Thanks for my dot day cache on the way home from work today. The Leprechaun streak continues.

No wonder it is no mans land, it's surrounded by yellow no parking lines The greatest threat was probably the magpies, we have memories of being dive bombed by them as kids! Tftc
Easy find on a nippy summer evening. had to wait for a muggle dog walker to move past before replacing. TFTC
Greetings from an Auckland Cacher (but an ex Hutt Resident).
Here to see family over Christmas.
Needed a Cache for the day as part of my 50 day streak. Popped in here while on our way to get lunch from the bakery around the corner.

O.B.E.Soc. a diversion with Guy while Millie does gym. No pen with us sorry. Saw a paradise duck pair with 7 chicks.
#2085 Out for an early morning bike ride to pick up a few caches. Easy find here and all quiet at GZ. Most of the camo has come off the cache but I added some cover before I left. TFTC!
I wonder what a muggle would make of the cache in it's present condition? At least it is easy to find and the log is keeping nice and dry.
Happy to discover a quick 'n easy cache after a few persistent DNFs. Looks like this cache had good cammo originally. TFTC!
Have not looked for a Geocache in ages! Went to the first tree but was not there, so we looked at the second tree and Found It!
Cache was very exposed when we found it. Rehid with a little more cover where we thought it should go. TFTC
#1262. Out for a caching raid on Gracefield. A rainy Tuesday night so picking up caches close to the road. Took a few minutes to find a park with all the yellow lines in this area. But cache was quickly spotted. The camo is coming unstuck but still a bit of cover on it. Took cache back to the car to sign the log. While returning the cache a car pulled up next to me. Wondered if it was fellow cachers. But no a muggle was being dropped off outside their place. Must have wondered what I was doing in that small park in the dark! Thanks for the cache.
Cache was found instantly, while with Popmac. Camo could do with some "refreshing" as a lot of it has come off. Thanks for the cache
I picked up Mr 2Wombles from the airport for a day's caching around Wellington. An easy find while in this area. Thank you for the cache.
Cache # 2,577 - a quick find tonight with DownUnder Wanderer. Amazing how much easier it is to find when the cache is there (unlike our last visit). Thanks to the CO for replacing, and TFTC.
Replaced with a new container and in a slightly different place. Please re-hide carefully and make sure you are not muggled.
I have replaced this cache in a slightly new position. Please take extreme care to use stealth and make sure that the cache is re-hidden carefully so that it is not muggled again. Thanks.
Sorry to log a DNF call in to day to do this cache but no luck for me today look hight and low I run out of time on this one today we will be back sametime log by gsak
Descended upon the GZ well after dark with Downunder Wanderer. Good streetlights, strong torches, and a reasonable lack of muggles and cars meant we got a solid 30 minutes of searching in, and came up with nothing. Like most DNFs, will now watch until someone else finds it before we try again.
Read the other logs and got myself confused. Followed logic and easily found. Tftc
The coordinates consistently point to the middle of the road so finding the micro-cache with no hint turned out to be quite a challenge. Eventually found it after going over that spot a few times already, returned it how it was found. TFTC
A spot of Saturday caching in the 'hood.
Inclined to agree with a previous finder's log in regards to whether the hide meets the expectations of the GC rules. As a consequence making the find took us longer than I would have anticipated.
Pleased to make a find on this geocache. All in order, log signed; cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Thanks for replacing the cache. I came by late last year and was unsuccessful - presumably it was during the period that it was missing. I thought I would have the same result tonight but after a bit more intensive searching I found the nicely hidden cache. TFTC
Gps coordinate marks the middle of the road. Tried to find in more logical nearby location but ni luck today
Easy find took 2 minutes great hiding place muggles would have no idea its there
Thanks to the CO for replacing! I was in the Hutt Valley today so I thought I should go and find it before it goes AWOL again as it's not a spot which lends itself to a good cache hide. Found after a short search, it's definitely better hidden now but I fear that it might now contravene one of the geocache placement rules. Signed log, TFTC
#6146. We went for a drive after dinner, and stopped on Bell Road. Returned to No Man’s Land. GZ was relatively quiet on a Tuesday evening, and we found the cache quickly this time. The cache was in good condition. Carried it to the edge of the stream to sign the log, and noticed that the water was much darker than lately. Not sure if there had been more pollution again recently. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache.
Cache has been replaced and hidden in a slightly different and hopefully more secure position.
Came by and had a look but no joy today. It has been almost 6 weeks since found!!!, perhaps next time.
Nice sunny day collecting a few of the local caches with Princess-Emily & tmann421.
Nice quick find on this one by Princess-Emily. Could she may be finally enjoying this geocaching malarkey? TFTC

Stopped off and made a quick find this morning, everything looking very nice with the grass freshly mown. TFTC
Reasonable find and fortunately had help at hand by the Swiss Army assistant.
