Came past on the off chance it was accessible again, but still al cordoned off, so didn't even attempt.
As per previous log, disabling until available would be god.
As per previous log, disabling until available would be god.
This area is still fenced off with severe penalties for trespassers. Setting a good example for geokids and it is also the right thing to do by not going into cordoned off area. Perhaps this cache should be moved?
This bush reserve is cordoned off to facilitate regeneration so the cache is inaccessible ... well, it could be but it would be poor form to do so. The cache should be disabled while this work goes on so that cachers do not unnecessarily head here, as we did today.
Attempted this one today but area fenced off and sign saying area is being protected . Plastic mesh barrier at footpath and fully secure fencing surrounding reserve. Might need to be disabled for a while.
I spotted this one as I approached, and then the hint made sense. As previously reported, the container is in a sad state but the new log sheet is still dry enough to sign.
Driving out of West Pymble, I passed by the location of #3 in the series. I contemplated stopping but there were muggles in the front garden of the house directly across the street so I decided not to attempt it and, given what appears to be involved, probably never will .
Thanks Wakko Akos.

Thanks Wakko Akos.
The GPS told me to keep well away from the fence today and the find took a while of methodical searching. This bush bears no resemblance to my last visit. The container is not really doing anything to protect cache any more and needs some TLC. Thanks Wakko Akos.
Nice quick find, added new log sheet as other one was saturated, container is damaged and not waterproof, TFTC
Find #: 1,073
Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Warm summer afternoon
Cache condition: Wet
After finding #1 in the series I continued up to #2. I was wary of muggle neighbours, having had to abandon my previous search here due to them, but luckily couldn't see any too near. I followed the compass in, avoiding a large spider who has taken up residence on the path, then looked for likely hiding places. I took a systematic approach, and it wasn't long until I had the container in hand. The log is still very wet, so while I made an attempt to sign it, this may not be wholly evident in the logbook. I replaced the container, then headed back to my car. Thanks for the cache.

Needing a find for the day we head over after dropping one of the kids off for a party. It certainly had changed since the previous cache and wondered if access was allowed with the new fence and council signs. A quick check and we confirmed we could get closer to GZ. We let the GPSr settle and tried one location and the the Jesus moment with another to quickly uncover the find. The cache is wet which we emptied out and could be quicker by a better container. The zip lock bag for the log had water in it and the log was very wet making it hard to sign. We drained out what we could and will post a needs maintenance. TFTC
I took my time with this and trusted the GPSr. I had an idea about where it would be hidden, and my idea was right. I just had to be persistent and work through the possibilities. Five out of five so far today, but the run of finds was all about to end.
Tks Wakko Akos!

An evening trip had to be made to collect a geoson, there were plenty of caches on the way so I left early to grab as many as the time allowed.
Another familiar location. I inspected a few places before reading the hint which this time helped me together with the accurate co-ords. The container looked older than I thought it would have and a fair bit of water had entered, but the log was safe and dry in its plastic bag.

We parked nearby and headed into the bush area, barely familiar with the council's preservation work. The muggle in the house opposite advised us to walk around the fence's perimeter, which we did as the phone was pointing to a spot quite a way away. After the loop we realised that we must have passed the correct point, so headed back along the path. The muggle was still outside his house, washing his cars, so I wasn't comfortable with searching for too long and quickly gave up. He acknowledged us when we left (albeit in the context of looking at the bush), so I'm glad we didn't linger. I'll be back
The co-ordinates were good but I didn't tap hard enough to hear it!?! I had to resort to a Phone-a-Friend.

This cache has turned out to be quite a tricky one it is still there, you just have to look and maybe tap around that little bit harder
Spent way more than the recommended 5 mins with no luck. Had GPS at 0m but found nothing.
Maybe another time.
Any clues???

3/10/14. 2:32 PM. Cache #1898. Streak day #103. Continuing this series on bike from #1. I've already logged my rant (on #1) about 4 new caches popping up under 1.5 km from home while I'm 45km to the north, so I'll avoid repeating it on the other logs.
I arrived at the search area, the familiar site of Wakko's now archived cache "Black Forest". But this reserve has changed a lot since I was last here, with half of it fenced off to preserve a little bit of nature. I started searching at 0m. Using the hint, I thought I had a fairly good idea of where to look. I wanted to be the first to find this without using the CO's help as the first 4 had done. But couldn't find it anywhere.
Well, I didn't get CO help, but I did ring alfyboy, who set me straight, so I guess this cache is still waiting for its first unassisted finder. I had been looking in the right places, but just needed to go a little further into it. Found a familiar container, rehashed from an earlier Wakkos cache. alfyboy had also given me extra info about #3, so I headed there next. TFTC }:)
Oh, and this one's not in WP, just Pymble...

I didn't have much luck here. I want to say I searched everywhere, but obviously I didn't. I stampled around for 20-30 minutes but had to cut my losses and give up eventually. Feels bad man!

No its not a moveable, When I first got the coords I was very rushed and they were also jumping everywhere. The location of the cache is now secured and no more updates will be performed. You should feel confident in finding this cache as Alfyboy trusty GPS Garmin has them right on the spot.
Good Luck
Good Luck
Found this with the help of the CO who I met at #1 thx for the assistance TFTC
Yay FTF, well joint FTF...!!!
This all started while I was at work and a bunch of notifications came through, as we have a few areas covered I don't normally get too excited when stuck at work as they are normally too far away to even contemplate but this one said it was just over 1km from where the better half of Robak65 works... Forwarding the email I soon get a phone call, "What, I suppose you want me to go and look for it"...
The next phone call said I am close, what am I looking for...? Meaning size and hint etc. Not exactly dressed for caching a quick venture into the bush only got the business suit slightly soiled but no cache.
Re-emerging, a potential cacher was spotted holding a suspicious object and mumbling to someone else, (Yurt to Alfyboy), that awkward moment before Muggle status is clarified and the group hunt continued.
Before long the CO put in an appearance to guide everyone in the right direction, (a little away from the posted GZ) with the old "getting warmer" technique.
Without giving anything away the hide was soon discovered and the necessary paperwork filled in.
Then the walk back to the office, all hot and sweaty with the "where have you been questions" answered with "just for a walk, you wouldn't understand...!"
With the code recorded we will have to do the rest now.

I found myself in the middle of a road with nothing likely to contain a cache. Alfyboy rang while I was there to curse me for the FTF on #1 so I invited him here. Reading the description we realised the coords must be way off so headed to #3 before returning with the CO who had by then updated the coords. When we arrived back we were greeted by robak's better half who had walked from Pymble. The CO realised the coords were still off by a fair bit and guided us to the right area with a bit of "warmer, colder". In the end robak exposed the cache first but we all shared the glory of the *FTF* here. Got the info and headed for the final with alfyboy.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Met Yurt here first and the cords had us in the street, but nothing matched to the description. So after getting #3. we came back to find updated co-ords. Turns out those were out as well, and lucky the CO turned up. Robak65, had meanwhile also arrived and joined in the search. Then WA pointed us right and after a search Robak65, came up with the find. We all SL, TFTC and replaced. Finally, we have the clues needed for the final. Thanx WA for being there. Sorry couldn't get my averaged co-ords to you sooner.
Looked before the updated coords - a bit disappointing that the coords weren't double checked before publishing... I'll try again another time!
