### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
G'day there sarejuergi,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue.
The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

The park is fairly quiet today on Australia Day.
After poking around with a stick, all I was able to find was a beer bottle.
On returning to my car, I bumped in to two other geocachers whom had previously found this cache. they had brought their cousins to introduce them to geocaching but also concluded that this cache was no longer present.

On returning to my car, I bumped in to two other geocachers whom had previously found this cache. they had brought their cousins to introduce them to geocaching but also concluded that this cache was no longer present.
There was only one place that matched the clue, and all I found was an empty beer bottle. Pretty sure this one has gone walkabout.
I later met up with Kristysadventures who agreed. She had also met another caching family who had come to the same conclusion.
I think the CO should check this cache.

Out with echidna44 caching in the Ferntree Gully area. Short walk to cache for a quick find. Thanks sarejuergi
This was a quick find here after a nice stroll through the park.
A lot of people out walking their dogs and enjoying the sunshine.
Thanks for the cache

These caches are getting further and further away so my ride are also taking me further but seeing some new places TFTC
On a Sunday outing with my geohusband in the Upper FTG Area. Grab the cache to find a large huntsman on it. Naturally the Cache was immediately dropped then retrieved to sign the log. Wow whee. On closer inspection there was actually 2 spiders. Think they may have been fornicating. Anyway, the cache guardians have been moved on. TFTC
Found King was only a counciller, the property name or family name would be a better link to the history or the area.
While attempting to find another cache much further into the hills I got a call that my nephew needed babysitting. Although caching is lots of fun, I have to say that my nephew is cuter and wins out every time! So this became the back up cache to keep the daily streak alive. The dogs were happy to get out of the car and stretch their legs here following our planned route being cut short. What I wasn't expecting was such a beautiful view of the Dandenong Ranges from here!
It was lovely to see kids out on their bikes, making jumps and having fun, it reminded me of the oval behind my house growing up where we'd spend countless hours making our own entertainment! (This makes me sound so old but I promise I'm not that old hahaha)
Thanks for the cache!

Found it! Great hide! Went on a Sunday during lockdown so it was nice and quiet. Did a small swap. Signed the log and replaced exactly as found. TFTC.
Beautiful day and fairly easy find. The walk is nice due to the teddy bears currently on display.
Find 2456
Out cycling on this overcast winters day. Cache was found without hassle. Log signed and all back safe as found.
Thanks for your efforts.

Out for a walk and to pick up a couple of caches on this cool windy Melbourne winters day. Once at GZ it didn't take Mrs Pooky long to make the find with the help of the hint. There was some Muggles on the other side of the oval doing some training of sorts but they were far enough away and not taking any notice of us. As the previous cachers said the highlight for us was also seeing all the Teddy Bears around the walking track and the oval. TFTC and bringing us to the area and the walking track. TNLN
An easy find as we counted teddy bears along the way!

Why did the chicken cross the road?
It had to expand its Search Radius!

Quick easy find for us today but the highlight was seeing all the Teddy Bears around the park

Found this one! Beware of HUGE spiders in the tree almost had a heart attack
Out with xambo4u, we completed a multi and puzzle before heading to Ferntree Gully for some more caches, including Lord of the Rings series.
A easy find. Thanks sarejuergi
A easy find. Thanks sarejuergi
Found! All the camouflage was gone, so we recovered the cache on return. Thanks
On a little ride around Ferntree Gully after school today and I picked this one up while I waited for some muggles to disperse from next to another cache in Kings Park. An easy find that took me a minute or two to spot thanks to the huge tree branch blocking access to some sides. However soon enough the cache was in hand. TFTC
On the way home from work, to continue my small caching streak I drove past and grabbed this cache. A nice quick one, no muggles around due to the cold.
Found yesterday afternoon. Thankfully no climbing needed. My monkey days are far behind me.
Plenty of monkeys chasing the footy around oblivious to our intentions.

A game of footy was nearby and lucky for us we were far enough away from the crowd. The cache was quickly spotted. TFTC sarejuergi.

This was a nice quick find as I walked through the park this morning.
Signed the log, took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for the cache, sarejuergi.

Apologies for the late log. I had attended a fundraising trivia night at the nearby cricket club for some geocachers doing the Oxfam trailwalker event on this Friday evening. Once we were done here SirJ-Oz and I decided tackle a few nearby caches. We did a vague walked loop around the reserve and picked up another one via car. This was our first stop and we zoned in on a target with the GPS pointing a clear direction from some way out. Once we were there it was a pretty quick find in a likely area. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache sarejuergi.
Find #4170. Found @ 22:23 with Annoying Tarbit.
We had just been to an Ox-Fam fund raising trivia night at the nearby cricket club (where our team won) and decided to pick up a few caches before leaving the area.
This was the first of the outing, and after making a beeline to GZ, Annoying Tarbit made the quick find.

MontsII was on a mission this morning, seeing if he could give us a head start for the new souvenir. In his biggest solo mission yet, he managed to find 16 caches. This was his last for the day. He managed to sign the log with a powertank pen, but says it is completely soaked and needs replacing. TFTC sarejuergi
Nice, easy find. Had to wait for a muggle to pass before returning. Log is damp but you can still write on it. TFTC
This one was a walk in the park. Only one muggle + dog to contend with. Thanks sarejuergi
A quick grab while the family on the field concentrated on keeping their kite in the air.

This large parkland was very busy today with football being played way over yonder and baseball practice occurring on the grassy section closest to this cache. Having Ana the geodog with me made it so much easier to approach and find a cache container sitting in its hide but highly exposed. So after adding our caching name to the log, we returned it to its hide, but covered it just a little to make it less obvious to unwanted eyes. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKAms
I went walking in the area with the dog this morning, and we picked up a few caches. tftc.
Visited this park on my own. What a lovely place. Cache totally exposed. Signed and replaced with coverage. Thanks for the cache
I lived in the area for about 10 years now and I have always loved this park. Lots of activity (sporting and recreational) and it is beautifully nestled inbetween the hills guarding it from almost every angle. I came across the cache lying on the ground next to the tree but replaced it in the most obvious hiding spot. TFTC sarejuergi!
Nice easy cache after a lovely Chinese meal nearby. It's been over 40 degrees today and as soft English folk we are not used to the heat! Cooling off nicely now though. I took the TB and left a bouncy ball eyeball and a skeleton ring. Thanks for placing x

With a view to having the Mini-Welders with me this evening, I mulled over this cache as my smiley for the day. It seemed to tick all the boxes - it was a low D/T, convenient parking and had fields for the kids to run around in. Based on previous visits to this park, there might even be some fascinating sports practice being held which might interest them.
So off to King's Park we went.
Given that the cache was at the far end of the reserve, we didn't park in the usual area. Instead, we found a more convenient spot around the corner in a side street. The Minis piled out of the Geo-mobile and immediately began practicing their parkour on the pine log bollards next to us. I just stood back for a while and let them burn off some energy. It was at this time that Emeylo made a 'key' discovery - a set of keys that was rusting into seeming antiquity. I considered my options, but seeing how badly weathered the keys were, they had clearly been lost for some time and the owners would have already made alternative arrangements. So, I let Emeylo keep them. They went straight into her handbag and quickly became her most prized possession (and made her feel very grown up, lol)! The only downside was that she then tried them in every single lock she came across!
We eventually moved off in the direction of GZ. The park was unexpectedly deserted, aside from a distant muggle dog walker and a drone pilot buzzing away at the end of the park furthest away from us. The Minis had already burned off all their surplus energy and were content to simply find the cache and go. Emeylo struck upon the cache quickly while Dynamo and The Blue Minion were researching local stick quality in typical fashion. This was Emeylo's second find on this adventure, but I think she's awarding a favourite point to her new keys instead!
Thanks, sarejuergi. Everything is in good order here and we very much enjoyed our visit.

lochb and I met up with G&J of GJMMelb and their new caching family member V the geopuppy and failed to find the nearby Coonara House cache despite quite some searching... So off we headed to try our luck with this cache, little V having a great time speeding around at the end of the leash as we traversed the muddy sports fields (glad she wasn't going home in my car! ) At GZ we had a quick search before I spotted the cache a bit lower than expected. TFTC - a lovely afternoon (apart from the cool air) to be out caching
Our first geocaching outing with our new puppy now fully vaccinated and ready and raring to go!! lol She had a ball bounding (on the lead) to the cache!
Cache was sniffed out by one of the humans as it was too high for the puppy lol
After a dnf at the other cache here it was nice to have our first puppy Violet find!!
