The construction zone and barricades didn't stop me...but the danger noodle guarding GZ did! Couldn't get close enough to look. This one will have to wait again for another day.

I had a good look for this one but could not find it. There is quite a bit of construction happening here atm.

We had a good search around but no luck at all here today.
Our GPS led us to a a water mains pipe. The name of the cache indictes it would be under the bridge.

Coordinates were really bad placing kept leading us to blue wheel save this one for next time

GPS didnt want to take me anywhere near where a troll would live. It wanted to take me to a blue wheel. But I wasn't going there.

Attempted this one right on dusk with no luck. Will have to try again during daylight hours.

Found the little sucker took a bit of time , 2nd attempt at this one .

Gps way out, jb did climb but not where it was expected too dangerous for us to continue. Getting down was worse than going up!!

I wandered down to the riverside today.
The council have had a bob-cat down there clearing the sand off the walking track
There must have been a lot of water come down the creek back in late March [:o]

But fear not !!
It didn't reach the cache
The trolls must have been washed downstream though
So finding the cache was a straight forward affair [^]

I found this out in the open on the ground and I put it back were I think it should go. TFTC

Yeah pretty simple find if you follow the clues. At least there were no trolls about and was a beautiful sunny late afternoon. Travelling Aus and always good to go for a walk and get another cache in while kiddies play at the playground nearby. Thanks for the cache.

Found on my rdo before my weekend journey. Gps was way off but i sat down and had a think about whete I'd hide it and came up with its location immediately. Tftc

If by trolls you mean loud music playing teens with a fancy for fishing then we found some trolls at GZ. Co-ord's had us a fair way off but the clue and previous logs pointed us in the right direction and the trolls didn't even notice we had been, found it, put it back and left. Needed to be a bit of a billy goat gruff on this one. The smell of those rotten mangoes (yuk) in the very hot sun. Was glad to make hay and move on. TFTC. SL. TNLN.

We went looking for trolls but there were none to be seen so we went looking for a cache instead and were quite pleased to find it the first place we looked. We left before the trolls returned. SL TFTC

after a lot of looking found this one about 8 to 10 metres from where the GPS was putting me think it might need to be checked

Thanks for the cache. Spotted a 2 inch bat hanging from under the bridge, no trolls sighted though. Quite ripe mangos falling from the beautiful mango trees along the road. Our northward caching odyssey continues.

Took a while because coords showed a different spot. TFTC

While staying in Sarina we headed out to grab a few nearby caches and this is one we found. It was laying on the ground under the bridge in full view so we signed the log and replaced it where we thought it should be hidden according to the cache name and previous logs.

Hope we were correct......may need checking on?

Needed a stick to get it out

After a long day behind the wheel I needed a stop to look for trolls to refresh myself for the final couple of km into Mackay.

On our way from Gladstone to Sarina and a couple of smilies along the way. OK there was only one place that this one could be although our GZ found us someway off.

Walking around Australia with the Walk for Life team. we found this one interesting.

Walking around Australia for Prostate and Breast Cancer awareness I happened to walk past here today and spied the cache. great to see new caches in the area something to do on my next visit here after our walk when I return to visit my Kids.

I thought this one was going to be tricky Why did I elected to grab this one. oh well I got to GZ no worries then I was 20m away , Thats ok, I will, oh no I won't , mmmm mmmm turn around , whats that. the cache , now to sign the log. I sure hope I can reach.
log signed Walk for Life Team. I returned it and grabbed my phone. how to get back down, I did that too, however I'm glad not too many people saw how I did it.

While admiring the factory, we saw we were walking straight to the cache. Quick find. Not being vertically challenged, we've put it back where we think the original hiding spot was.

Nice easy find, however being vertically challenged, I found retrieval a bit tricky, managed to snag it with my pen. Unfortunately, not being from Longreach, I was not able to replace it in its original location. Have managed to conceal it nearby at a lower level. T4T$ Cheers, coral.sea.cat

looking at all the new Mackay District caches that have popped up
planned a quick run to Sarina to have a look and see if any of the possible FTF's were still up for grabs.
Started at 'Field of Dreams', but moved along and walked down to here due to the presence of muggles.
No worries here, and an FTF bonus too [^]
