As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Sounded like a good adventure and a good place to introduce friends to caching. Had lots of eyes looking but no find. Have to come back another day...

Let the caching begin. Finally home after a lengthy stint away with work. Found this one on my way home. Sneaky hide and very good camo. Sat downtown enjoy the great views afterwards. SL TFTH TFTC. Think outside the box. Co-ords are spot on too.

Was here for a friends wedding. What a fantastic excuse to wonder around and look for a geocache. I also found a redback spider so left him alone Smile tftc

On a great walk from Balmoral beach to Taronga Zoo, with wife and son. Didn't strictly speaking go past any ropes!!. Great hide, wasn,t sure originally if it was the cache. What a fantastic area this is. My second cache in Australia

Wow, a fabulous vista here. And interesting history and a great track. Had to exercise a bit of stealth to make our way to GZ without exciting too much suspicion. Very clever hide; coordinates spot on. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Continued the walk around from HPT1 and found the area.
I've been here before years and years ago when it was off limit to the public and the only way in was on specially guided tours, which were great as they took you into the tunnels.
When the GPS said 1m I looked around and saw nothing. Using the name of the cache as the hint I decided where I was supposed to be so ventured past the no entry ropes into the desired location. Once there I actually touched the cache twice before I'd discounted every other possibility and thought better give this a go and voila!
Very sneaky!
Are you permitted to put caches here? Adds to the adventure.

#1059 (5 of 9 today)

Had to drop Geoson #3 at Mosman for a job interview, so decided to take advantage of being over here to grab a few caches in an area in which I've barely hunted.

Found 7 of 8 here, plus two extra on the way home.

A beautiful spot to enjoy the end of the day. As the sun set and muggles disappeared Perfect and I started our search. We had a pretty good idea where to look having been here several times before.

The camo was excellent. Perfect gets credit for the find. I appreciate the effort that goes into caches like this that blend into their environment.

4/10/14. 9:38 AM. Cache #1904. Streak Day #104. Last of 4 caches this morning; clearing out new caches in Vaucluse, the city and Mosman. After "Thornton's Scent Bottle", I spent a bit more time in the city, considering options for my disabled TB hotel. Then headed up here to look for this one. At first, I headed down the hill, below the Gunners Barracks tea room, where the lawn looked down over the harbour; a navy vessel was moored down there. Following this way towards GZ there was a cool track leading to some caves, but these didn't extend far back enough towards GZ. So I got another idea; went back up to the top level and walked straight to GZ.

From here, the hint (and cache name) had me clued in where to go but a lot of signs in the area suggested that I wasn't supposed to. Except, there was one spot with no signs or chain, maybe I could try here? Once I was in the right strata, I got to searching and found the cache pretty quickly. 2TF! Great camo - should fool a few, I'd think. I would have liked explore more but assumed with all the signs about I may have been pushing my luck if I had. So, I popped out again to the amusement of one bloke and his young lads. Headed for home glad to have 4 from 4 today. This is a great cache dc's, and fave point worthy. }:)
