04-Dec-18
Time to let this one go and free up the area for someone else.

25-Nov-18
Gone missing. Sorry folks, will try and replace soon.

25-Nov-18
Checked everywhere before resorting to reading the hints and past logs. Fairly sure we know where it should be, but apart from a few tell tale remnants this one may have been removed again.

#3 for the day with Trodectus, evening was approaching and was a nice walk from the previous cache. Arrived GZ and saw multiple possible hiding sites. Luckily not too many pooches and owners around, but did have to rest a few times when ppl approached. T then spotted something he had seen before and it was the cache, a nice bit of lateral thinking. Log signed and cache returned to resting place. TFTC

06-Oct-18
Found with Coybear2000. We were out collecting a few caches and we decided to try for this one. Once at GZ we started searching, with the occasional pause while muggles went past. After a short while we noticed something and on investigation we found the clever hide. I'm giving this a favourite. TFTC.

06-Oct-18
Found the cache. Very creative took a while to find.

05-Oct-18
Spent 20 minutes looking. But I'm only a beginner.

26-Aug-18
Nice straight forward find after walking around the side of the park. Have seen this design before.

A few dogs playing but not too many folks around due to the light rain.

Thanks for the cache!

24-Aug-18
Hmmmm that looks suspicious. CIH. Leaving just as a few dog owners showed up. I didn't have a dog, so time to make like a banana and split. TFTC jmax Smile

Fave point for sure!!! Dogs are my favourite even more than humans. Made a beautiful little friend by the name of Phoenix. Anyway back to the cache brilliant. Have only seen a few like this and really love them. Tftc

22-Apr-18
Tftc - nice and easy after understanding the hint

03-Apr-18
Heading home after the Lake Macquarie Mega, broke up my trip halfway at my cousin’s overnight (needed the break after 4 hours crawling in holiday Monday traffic that normally should have taken 90 minutes) and ticked off a few more caches to round out my six-day tally to an even number. Had done the original Dog a few years ago but like this hide better.

25-Mar-18
Good to find a dog park which is big enough to give the worried dogs plenty of space.
And thanks for the cluey cache!

23-Mar-18
This had me fooled for a few minutes. Where could a "small" be? Nice one. Thanks jmaxadventures.

02-Feb-18
Third visit to this one. I'll blame the muggles for the last two fails, but without a soul around, i had time to look at things more closely. TFTC

30-Jan-18
On my way home from work I thought I’d stop and grab a few caches in the area.
After a scout of the area and looking im quite a few possible hidey holes I was stumped as to where the cache could be. My phone GPS was not settling down. After 20 min of looking I still had no joy. After stepping back and assessing the location I thought I’d check out something I haven’t tried. You-are-kidding-me. What a very tricky and clever hide. And all in plain sight. I signed the log and replaced as found.

I’ve had a hiatus from caching and just getting back into it again and needing to get my logs up to date.

Find: 555
5th of 5 finds for today
Cache condition: Good condition
Logbook/sheet: Log is more than 50% full

TFTC??

16-Jan-18
Easy find after reading other's log notes, which is good otherwise our dog would complain! TFTC!!

14-Jan-18
Clever! Thanks for the find

01-Nov-17
I headed out today with the intention of finding "numbers", but I like getting the numbers that come we good quality hides and offer a nice walk plus discovering somewhere new. Decided to head for The Hills to keep me busy today. (14/17 finds).

Argh, the GPS lost satellite reception upon approach, time to resort to the phone. Would have been good to have the geopooch with me as a decoy, but on the other hand she would have spent the whole time barking and drawing more attention to us. Spent some time being still and contemplating rather than doing the cachers crazy wandering dance and I thought I had it sussed after reading the last maintenance logs from the CO. But even that was over thinking things when I eventually worked out what to do. So simple! And all without watching the SMS Periscope. Thanks jmaxadventures.

29-Oct-17
Was nearly a DNF. Didn't look at the sign properly. Read the words carefully.#40

24-Oct-17
Geocaching and Dogs are my two favourite things

I didn’t hand the furry ones with me today and there were none in the park- this meant that I wasn’t distracted and made a quick grab of the IPS cache

Took us a few tries. Finally my daughter nailed it. Thanks for the clever cache.

28-Sep-17
there were a few people in the off-leash area when I arrived so after a walk around the park & returned to find it empty. after a short search found the cache signed the log & returned. Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache jmaxadventures

I seem to recall I had trouble with the original geodog. Only a couple of people with pooches today and not near ground zero so I could search in comfort. Spotted it fairly quickly behind it's camo, extracted to sign the log on the back. Thanks jmaxadventures.

02-Sep-17
Did not find this time but will come back!

22-Jul-17
Thanks for the hint on periscope Seemyshell. Lol.

OCW ESCR
We headed off around this beautiful parkland grabbing a few caches.

Loved this cache. I knew exactly what to look for, and my geosenses were on point. Favorite point from me.
While blowing ESCR mind.
Cheers

While I was looking in the usual spots SMS knew exactly what was going on and when he did he reveal I loved it!! We quickly signed and replaced (after taking about 50 photos ) FP from me

Long search with a 'appy ending.

04-Jun-17
Up and running again.

18-Apr-17
Drat those Council Workers, I thought I had them trained but they've cleaned too well again. Will get up and running again soon.

13-Apr-17
Waited for a suspicious dog walker to leave GZ to find the sneaky clever cache. TFTC

13-Apr-17
Finishing up the logs after a very enjoyable days geocaching with geoson morty8888. There was only one lady here this afternoon and once she and her two dogs left it was a quick find, although she did give us an funny look when she left. TFTC jmaxadventures.

01-Apr-17
Nice one. Had me stumped for a few minutes then it came to be.. the hint that is..

12-Feb-17
I had parked near the tennis courts to begin my walk for a bunch of caches following the the path along the creek and had a go at attempting this first off. Having a good look around I could not locate and left is as a muggle was approaching. On returning to the car a had another look and this time came up with the find.

I have actually never seen this type of cache before which was done very well. A satisfying find, TFTC.

07-Jan-17
The dog park was surprisingly quite for such a lovely day, which was good for us. This one was another very cleverly hidden cache, which was right in front of my eyes, but the last place I looked, thanks.

04-Jan-17
This had us quite perplexed for a while before we finally discovered it after fiddling with something which turned out to be more than just what it was. Thanks for another creative cache.

01-Jan-17
Out on a first day of 2017 geocaching expedition. Had to laugh at the audacity of this cache placement. No pooches when we were here but a few came in as we were leaving. Nice facilities for them. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

06-Dec-16
Having found the previous cache hidden in this area, we have to agree that it is a new and improved hide. We have found something similar to this before and do enjoy finding ones that are different to the usual. Cache is in good condition, log was signed and we were on our way. Thank you so much to jmaxadventures for a fun cache which has earned a favourite point from us.

05-Dec-16
With nobody around this cache was found after a short search. The log was signed and the cache was replaced as found. A favourite point given for a different kind of cache. Thank you jmaxadventures for placing this cache.

04-Dec-16
Interesting find, great clue ...

11-Oct-16
Came back with geodogs and easily found this time. TFTC

02-Oct-16
TFTC was a good hide, took me a little bit to find. TFTC

17-Sep-16
No luck with this one kids were disappointed will try again another day

11-Sep-16
Found it after almost giving up. Be sure to read the signs

28-Aug-16
I found the place muggle free today and searched all the obvious places methodically without the luck. Than all of a sudden I had the moment of inspiration and held the log in my hand … now I have to say I cannot stop grinning thinking about this cache. Very imaginative TFTC

26-Aug-16
Tftc. Well spotted by Mrs jaybeem. She walked straight to it while I was looking elsewhere.

26-Aug-16
No luck today. Felt a bit guilty not coming with the geodogs. Will be back with them soon

18-Aug-16
A couple of muggles around with their dogs, but the cache placement hid us from view Smile Nice variation on a cache type we've seen only a few other times before.

18-Aug-16
What a brilliant location and such a clever idea for a cache. The dogs were having a great time in the park Big Grin TFTC

14-Aug-16
Clever. Shame we don't have a dog...

There were plenty of muggles about with their dogs as you would expect on this beautiful winter's morning. I almost wanted to give it a miss but as we neared GZ we found the coast clear. I came across this same type of hide a few weeks ago. Very clever. TFTC

13-Aug-16
Quick find.... Nice spot! TFTC

23-Jul-16
Arrived at GZ just to note a couple of girls with dogs sitting nearby. However, they seemed to be fully concentrated on chatting to each other, and took no notice of us. Looking around for a while, and then considering the name of the cache, we soon spotted something a bit different.
Cache was retrieved and log signed and replaced without the girls noticing.

16-Jun-16
3rd time lucky! Smile

I play comp tennis in this park once a season. On the last 2 occasions I've had a look for this cache. I know it was out of action on attempt one, attempt two = no luck but today I came here and put my hand straight on it. I guess it just depends on where you look!

This is a great location for geodogs. Pity its more than 25km from home.

TFTC - a good day all round, won my 4 sets and found 2 caches!

Cache # 1513

No luck for me today, but i will be back!!

29-Mar-16
What a great cache very clever

26-Mar-16
Had a failure down the path at 'Tennis Bug' so decided to move up here. Quite a few muggles with their (geo)dogs around GZ.

Had a good inspection around GZ with little luck and then thought a bit differenty and the cache was shortly found. A very creative cache - always nice to find!

Cache is in good condition - we were the first to sign on the new log.

Thanks jmaxadventures for the cache

*FAVOURITE POINT AWARDED*

Sorry, fixed this ages ago but forgot to re-enable. Checked again today, all good.

04-Feb-16
Good to go again.

21-Nov-15
This is my most troublesome cache. Muggled again. Sorry folks. Will replace again soon.

20-Nov-15
I've spent 2 consecutive days looking for this one with no luck. I widened my search from the structure but it would not reveal itself.

20-Oct-15
All fixed again.

16-Oct-15
Problems again....back online soon.

15-Oct-15
Found quickly, didn't take too long. TFTC.

15-Oct-15
Cache was out in the open. Defiantly not where it should be. Immediate attention is required

Caching with Jendid!
We came looking and I found it by mistake! I pulled it out from hiding spot and waited for Jendid to find it. While waiting, I laughed and laughed out loud!!! Then Jendid gave up and asked for hiding spot! We lol'd !
TFTC jmaxadventures Smile

23-Sep-15
Not sure if here still

23-Sep-15
It's not a good idea to assume a cache is missing just because you can't find it. Geodog is happily waiting for some doggy friends to come and play.

23-Aug-15
Very clever - simple, yet effective! We did a very thorough search of area before we finally found it. SL / TFTC Smile

12-Aug-15
Third time lucky with this cache! After no clue on the first DNF, a bit of an idea on the second DNF when the cache was missing, thankfully the CO was quick replace and I had an opportunity to return and make a quick find. Clever camo / hiding spot, SL and replaced. TFTC jmaxadventures! Smile

09-Aug-15
Hmf. Will have to come back and try search for this one again

01-Aug-15
So very clever! A favourite from me!

#3139- After a disastrous morning of caching, I decided to make this my last one and head home to the mountains. I must admit that the size had me scratching my head until I read a few logs. I agree that it should be either a micro or other and that what have made it a much quicker find. Standing around inside there without a dog made me very conspicuous indeed. Thanks

28-Jul-15
Geodog is back and enjoying all his visiting doggy friends.

24-Jul-15
Poor little Geodog has gone missing. Will try and replace shortly.

23-Jul-15
It's been a long time between DNFs, but I still was not able to find the cache today. I will confer with the CO to see if it's still in place, since I suspect it may have been muggled. Sad

28-Jun-15
In the area getting a few caches and these few here needed to be found. Walked over and there were muggles with dogs close by. Yes it's there and made the find secretly! TFTC.

05-Jun-15
All good here still.

04-Jun-15
I was here looking, so I should log a DNF. Thought I had checked all the spots capable of hiding a small cache. Hills Council guy showed up 5 mins after I had begun searching, and without a dog, I felt quite suspicious. So, I made like a leaky boat, and I bailed.

03-Jun-15
Argh, couldn't find this one either. Will try again another day Smile

27-Apr-15
A nice sunny day, so headed out to do some caching in a nearby suburb.
Took the geo-bike for a ride along the river, and picked up some caches along the way.
Found a good variety of hides, in some lovely scenery. Great cache, favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, jmaxadventures, for us and others to find.

19-Apr-15
We arrived at what we thought was GZ and after a quick look around was rather put off by the wheelchair comment. After waiting for the GPS to settle we finally figured out we were on the wrong side of the fence. A quick look around and I spotted something that looked a bit odd. Log signed we were off to the next! TFTC

19-Apr-15
348 caches into my caching career and I have never seen one like this before! TFTC Smile oh, and the puppies, thanks for the puppies!

18-Apr-15
I'd DNFed the previous incarnation of this cache and never had a chance to redeem myself before it was archived. This time I had the same problem - phone said outside the fence but there's nothing it could be there. PMed the CO but went on to Thammy before coming back with a hint from a previous finder which saw me finding the cache some metres from my previous search. Was trying to keep the terrain rating in mind but the size of the cache threw me off. Truly this is 'other' rather than small. Signed and replaced without being molested by canines. Some people were calling to their dog with a name like "Matrices" or something!

Thanks!

06-Mar-15
Excellent one - admired your create one - thanks jmaxadventures. Fav from me as well.
