Nice sneaky hide. Good disguise.Cold day traveling and wet in places but on way to Moss Vale to attend a nearby event tomorrow. Thanks for getting me out and about NationalSteel
Like others we scratched our heads on first reading the description but quickly had it sorted when we reached GZ. Given the 'other' description in the size details realised we needed to be looking for something a bit different. Had it after wide search. TFTC
I figured out what the description meant but idk what to do with the numbers or how to add them up. O searched over 2 days with no luck with more to come. Please put a hint, this makes no sense or someone please help. Other size doesnt help. either and this is definitely not a recommendation for children.
We are almost at the end of a ten-day road trip from Sydney around the Central West. Today were travelling from Goulburn to our last overnight stop in Kiama. This geocache was seriously fun and a favourite for us. Looking at the puzzle before we arrived, we werent certain we were able to solve it until we arrived at GZ. What a great little park with so many different things to offer - playground, murals, memorial rocks and toilets. We figured out what to do, put some numbers in our device and circled GZ multiple times before we finally spotted it. Good thing there were no muggles around. Loved the murals and laughed about them too. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Cache # 11235 on 21 Apr 2024A spur of the moment trip to Marulan on a lovely Sunday morning with Bobl27 for him to pick something up and for me to grab a couple of caches! Saw the number of fav points on this cache and decided to have a closer look. Coordinates ascertained easily at the posted coordinates and then a short wander to GZ. I circled the spot for a bit, read a few logs, had another look and then spotted the well disguised cache ! Nicely done, have another fav point! Thank you NationalSteel for the cache and the fun!
Staying the night in Marulan and we arrived with plenty of time to walk around the caches. With one up one end and some up the other we got to see most of the town. The letters didn't make any sense till we got to the waypoint but we soon had coordinates when we did. Not the quickest find at GZ.. this cache has an unbelievable camo job! TFTC NationalSteel.
Enroute to Canberra via a few extra locations, we stopped to find your cache. Reading the cache description I was a bit confused until we arrived at gz. The area was busy today so we were relieved to spot the cleverly concealed cache. A favourite point from us.Thanks NationalSteel for your cache and for contributing to a great weekend.
TFTC smile 19709 out and about on a lovely day having a great time finding a few caches in Canberra signing as 5 for Qld what a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun Thank you NationalSteel for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. Today we are chasing caches out of Goulburn, signing Log sheets as "5 for QLD" to save space. Five in a car meant we had a lot of funEnjoyable little Multi to do.Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 21, 2024. TFTC, NationalSteel
Enjoying a pleasant drive around Goulburn and Marulan areas with geo friends, and we are signing logs as 5 for Qld to save space on the logbook.Lovely multi to do, and we had the pleasure of watching an artist busy at work on a beautiful masterpiece.Thank you to all the cache owners who placed these good hides for our benefit and enjoyment
In Canberra now and today concentrating on the caches in Goulbourn.Quick calculations and quick find.Caching with and signing 5 for QLD.TFTCache NationalSteel

#7451 Cool multi Initially looking at the description I thought 'what the'.... but figured it would make sense at the coords, it did.... While Samuel searched I researched past logs whilst in the workshop. Then with more info on hand made a quick findThanks for the cache!
#7451A nice quick solve at the posted and a relatively quick find at GZ, the paint job really made it nicely camoed! TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache NationalSteel
#13375 15:25After attending the 'Chill @ The Grill event' in Bungonia National Park we drove to nearby Marulan to clean up some of the unfound caches in the area. fTogether with 4Rods, Martin Cousins, MaxAdventurer, Everest High and Brewmaker we tlogged as our team name BIMME4.This puzzle was solved during our luinch break across the road the the Meridian Cafe. I can recommend the Burger with the Lot for just $17. It is massive.Cache was found in good condition at an 'interesting' spot.TFTC National Steel.
Solved and found while we had a lunch stop at the Cafe over the road. A great big geocaching day out with Brewmaker, Its_Dozzie, MaxAdventurer, Martin Cousins, EverestHigh and 4Rods, SL for the day as BIMME4. TFTC NationalSteel
Solved easily while having lunch at the Meridian Cafe across the road. A bit of hunting ar GZ without looking too suspicious. TFTC
Back again for another look, found it with a small search, 99th geocache! Off to jamberoo now TFTC
Gathered the numbers last week while passing through, today stopped for the find, which didnt take all that long. Thanks for the cache NationalSteel
Sneaky one CO. Was searching for a while and then boyfriend saw something that didnt fit. Thanks for the fun find
I thought I had the coordinates but after reading some logs apparently it was metres away from where it was meant to be. I was super rushed on this one and Im not an experienced cacher so couldnt find this one unfortunately. Will be back though!
Great day out with caching team. Enjoyed the backroads, however the Hume Highway was super busy making it difficult to cross and enter. Wonderful park. TFTC
Quickly solved and a straightforward find here today. Thanks, NationalSteel!
A fun day out with friends caching and hiking. Not often that I get to spend whole day out, and driven around to enjoy the views. Lovely and quiet at GZ today but the highway was extremely busy and fast going. Quick find and return. TFTC NationalSteel.
Homeward bound, with a couple of geo-detours along the way, after spending a few days with family in Canberra.
I managed to park in the perfect spot to be able to work out the final coords from the comfort of the driver's seat and then saw that GZ wasn't far away at all. A short search followed and I soon the really well camoed cache to hand ... surprisingly, since it perfectly blends into its surrounds
Thanks for creating a fun multi and a really good hide NationalSteel and all in a nice setting ... so gets a fave point from me.

We dnf’d this multi way back in ‘18 so heading back down the Hume today we were happy to detour into town and try our luck once more.
We had the feeling the host had changed but we were not certain, anyway we found the cache easily and signs the logbook, turning this blue frown upside down.
Thanks NationalSteel for the multi placement.

The Geowife is up the Central Coast - enjoying herself without me. I'll be at the cricket test from tomorrow, where caching opportunities are very limited - either got them years ago or they're mine.
But that means today I can go for numbers... So I did!
Decided to head to Marulan - a touch further south than I've previously gone on a day caching trip (other than the Mega in Canberra a few years back) - where there was plenty to plunder.
Went for 19 and got the lot. Collected information for one more but that needs a lot of work.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And a second multi for the day. Yay!
Quickly worked out what I needed to do, and calculated my GZ. Yeah, looks logical.
Made my way there and started searching. So many possible spots. After 20 minutes I was sure I'd checked everything, so went back and rechecked my numbers. And spotted my mistake.
So relocated slightly and quickly spotted something cache-like.
Gotcha!
Well, doesn't that blend in well. Something arranged by the CO?
Signed, replaced and off to collect info for another multi. Well, I'm not trying to calculate that today.

#1559 I can’t believe I haven’t found this one yet. I’ve definitely been here with Turtle before and I could even recall where the cache was and the container, but I never logged it. My only thoughts are I either didn’t have l my account yet or I wasn’t actively logging caches at the time. Regardless we returned out this way today and I was able to remake a find here. Added my name to the log and continued on my way. Thanks NationalSteel for the multi
Found in the last place we looked.
We headed into the flooded eastern states for a week of geocaching fun. The mission was Frying Pan. The only December 2000 placed cache remaining in Australia. All other choices for this month are international. Traveling in style and comfort we selected the next cache on merit and forward movement. Some back tracking was required in the wettest areas. Wildlife seen included a lyre bird, king parrot and a single leech. Mozzies were a pest. Caches were found and signed. Wet logs were wet. Water does that. Numerous TOTTs were employed.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to NSW and back with Freddo.
Our main target was ‘Frying Pan’ in the Chichester State Forest, near Barrington Tops north of Newcastle.
We allowed ourselves a week to travel there and back, taking a circuitous route through Victoria and NSW, camping each night and finding a range of caches of interest along the way.
Rains over the past few months meant a few detours along the way and plenty of water about, restricting access to some caches and camping areas. Many of the roads were quite chopped up with potholes and the mosquitoes were plentiful! But we had a good run with the weather, with just the odd shower, but mostly fine, warm and overcast.
After collecting the required information, this was a quick find just a short walk away.
Thanks NationalSteel for the cache.

Nice one!! I liked the puzzle and the hide. Thanks, NationalSteel. Have a favorite point for the hide.

We headed out of town today to work on DAKSIDEDAN's Bronze Challenge Series. Well why wouldn't you, as we had already completed all of the Silver and Gold series we could and qualified for most, but it did seem a step backwards going for Bronze!
The plan was sound, but it turned out to be a bit of an adventure. With flooded fords and bridgework we were turned back 2 or 3 times and had to divert round. It did mean that we got to Maraluan however and had a nice lunch there. Good hot coffee!
Thanks to DAN for another great series and even better to meet you last night and put a face to a name. We really appreciate your caching efforts.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache NationalSteel.

Find Number 2446 found at 13:56. Today we found 41 caches. We had 2 DNFs.
While the Gill half attended the Lions Convention in Mittagong, the Tony half met up with GeoSon NationalSteel to tackle the Badge Gen Challenges. I had qualified for all but 3. National Steel had qualified for all of them.
A nice idea for multi coordinates and one I am tempted to copy for my own use. I had the embarrassing situation of futilely searching for the container with the CO chuckling amusedly at my attempts. Finally I spotted it. then kicked myself for not spotting it earlier. Definitely worth a favourite point.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks NationalSteel for the cache.

AHHHHHHHHH. At long last found it. It has been on my list of must attempt. Coming home from spending the day in Goulburn doing some Multis, Traditional and adventure lab stopped of to get this one. Had me looking, looking, thought I had spotted it. To high for this Bushy. found an unassuming TALL gentleman nearby. explained what I was doing. "Happy to Help" Looking Looking again. spotted something that really fitted in well. Great Cammo.

I’d love to say it was a nice easy find like others before me, but I struggled to spot the hide and neither my phone or GPS were being very user friendly. A confirmation of coords and a hint from the CO soon had me on track and CIH a short time later. Thanks NationalSteel. A fun idea for multi coordinates.
Made this the multi of the day since I was practically parked on top of WP1. Nice hide. Thanks for the hunt on this Easter Sunday morning.
Picked up with kittykatch and strangetrousers on our way back to Canberra. It was good to turn this one into a smiley finally. TFTMC.

#6905 For the second weekend in a row, a geo-road trip ! This time to Sydney to attend a special Community Event on Cockatoo Island joined in the car by Kittykatch & Cosmonaut97. There were a number of other notable Canberra geocachers heading up and staying at our hotel, so it was a merry weekend of eating, drinking and caching. But before we got there we dropped in to Picton to run the local parkrun at 8am, grab breakky and a few local caches too. An earlier attempt at the local Adventure Lab failed for me due to intolerable traffic, but no such issues today. So after grabbing these we headed on to Camden. I was pleasantly surprised by Camden with it mix of lovely parks and heritage features. So then on to our hotel in Sydney. While I grew up in Sydney, I've never been to Cockatoo Island before, so I was quite keen to attend the event there. It was good to see an Adventure Lab there too. After the event, we headed back into town after a very pleasant ferry ride back to Circular Quay. Another event down at Homebush Bay topped off the weekend.
A quick stop on the way back home. Grabbed the info and started to search. Had a head-slapping moment when spotted.

A stop in Marulan this misty morn,
provided some caching entertainment
Second stop was here on the main street.
Looking at the instructions left me a bit puzzled for a moment !!
A wander around soon revealed where the answers lay
Some coord tweaking later ... and I was at GZ
The cache was quickly sighted [^]
I do like the way the cache has become so well camoflagued

On 10/Aug/2019 I found this cache missing, because the old toilet block was missing, replaced with a new toilet block. I stopped today on the way to Sydney to find the new cache. I have seen plenty of this kind of cache, but this is possibly the best of them. I love the camouflage. Worth a favourite tick. TFTC NationalSteel.
I has solved this one ages ago so on the way back From Belanglo Forest we stopped in here to grab it.

Pit stop at a local greasy spoon on the way to Sydney and I wanted to get a cache as well. While a multi in the dark while on a deadline isn't ideal, I assessed that it shouldn't be too much of a stretch. Calculated GZ quickly but then wasn't sure where it would be - there were two new sites and I was sure for reasons that it wouldn't be one of them. After exhausting one, I focused on the other despite the potential for.......unwanted attention. Lots of good hiding spots too, so spent a good bit of time on my search. Thankfully the thorough search yielded results out of sight of most eyes and I got to be the first to put my name to the new log.

I won't log a DNF, as I didn't do a search, when told by others, who had previously found this cache, that the structure has been replaced with a new one, and a previous log mentioned construction happening. I worked out the final coordinates though. I notice there is no OM saying if a new cache has been placed. I will wait to see what happens here.
Quickly worked put the co-ords but the cache is a victim of construction at the gz. It will probably be a couple more weeks before the construction is completed.
Found with cullum68 after checking we were on target with our co ords .we left goulburn this morning on our way home from a few days away caching thanks for the cache
Found with nissan 65 on our way home from 3 days away caching around Yass. Thankyou national steel for a nice cache
Travelling south for SES duties made a slight detour with mizmaz to claim a smile and couldn’t think of a better person to claim my 500th smile with then my mentor. A funeral happening at GZ did not make claiming the smile easy but duties done and time to continue our journey to Jindabyne
Heading away for a weekend SES Rescue Comp, predetermined this multi’s likely GZ in a town I rarely pass through. With no checker and several dnfs going back some time, contacted NS (CO & friend) directly who confirmed my math and provided a description of the container/hide when I offered to undertake a maintenance check at the same time. Arriving at GZ to find funeral mourners gathering within metres, only did a quick recon but enough to confirm recent changes to the area around GZ may have contributed to original cache indeed being MIA. With permission, replaced cache and a fresh log sheet in an approved method (same co-ords) on behalf of the CO.
Quick solve of the multi but searched GZ for 20+ mins but couldnt locate. Will try again next time. Thanks anyway national steel
Enjoyed multi, arrival GZ, took us searched for 15mins, definitely spot no cache..

In Canberra for a caching trip and today we decided to head up to the Goulburn area. This was my first time to this part of NSW and visited many interesting caches placed in mainly historical locations. Thanks to all the COs for your efforts.
The description certainly does look confronting and confusing when you read it before arriving!
Got to the waypoint and worked it out easily, a bit sneaky really and unique compared to the usual "How many letters"type questions.
We spent far too long searching the wrong end of GZ at first but eventually made a quick find once in the right spot.
Thanks NationalSteel, a good multi!

Addictedgamer and I were a little concerned what to expect, but very easy to work out once we got to the waypoint. Was a little confused at GZ at first, but a bit of a search and we soon had the cih. Luckily I had to use the facilities as well. The geokids loved the park! I have never stopped here and I didn't realise how lovely this town is. Tftc!!!

It all made sense once I arrived at WP. Thanks for making me linger a bit longer around Marulan today. What a great quick offset Multi. For the short visit we made, we learnt so much and have decided that it will be a town to return to and look at in detail one day.
Visited a group of trackables gathering for a long trip to the Alice Springs Event GC6825Z in April.

This looked very bewildering on the cache page - is this a mystery/puzzle or a multi and what does it all mean? Well when we got to GZ the idea of what we had to do immediately popped into our minds. We worked out the co-ords and off we go learning a bit more about the easting of this place along the way
Thanks NationalSteel.
Feedback: Thanks for finding our camera at Green Patch! We took a few photos of cachers later on for our pprass Family Coin.
