I visited of Oxford today and could not find the temporary cache in the old location or the new cache in the new location that were both placed a couple of months ago. It seems when I replace the caches they are disappearing with 48 hrs of being replaced which makes me wonder if someone is watching this cache. I will disable for now and come up with a new plan.
No sign of temporary cache. Some evidence that something was once attached to the beech tree but if it was a bison it is gone.
Surrounded by a family with young children also Geocaching while searching, no luck for either party.
I have looked for this one a number of times and it always appears to be missing. I hope it ok with the CO as stormshadow and I placed a temporary cache with log at GZ. It was a lovely day here and the park was busy. TFTH

Whoops I replaced this cache a couple of months ago but forgot to enable! The tree has had a good prune so hopefully it won't go missing. Happy hunting!!!
The beach has had a recent trim and a person from over the way also thinks it’s gone again sorry.
Another failed attempt here for me... I thought I was doing well, being so patient, and gave it a pretty good going over this time... No doubt the cache was less that a foot away a lot of the time... Oh well...
I was in Oxford today and checked on the cache given the recent DNF. I couldn't find it so have replaced it again.
Despite there being plenty of muggles not far away, I managed to have a fairly good look for this cache. If it's hidden the way I think it is, it is no surprise that I couldn't find it as I often struggle with this type.
I had heard a rumour that this cache couldn't be located, so headed out for a maintenance run. I searched high and low and could not find it. It is well camouflaged so there is a chance it is still there. But I have added a replacement cache just in case! It is similar to the old one but covered in green tape instead of camouflage tape. Please let me know if you find the old one! Good luck.
We stopped at this park to have a picnic lunch on our way to Glentui for a walk. A quick find here, tftc!
I went out for a day of caching, with no specific plans, just picking the next one off the map. I realised that I did not include many going north in the PQ, so heading west would be my best bet. I got the best park possible, and the cache was soon in hand! TFTC!!
I had a few hours to spare after completing my work commitments on a day trip to Canterbury. I decided to head off in this direction to see what I could find. Although the weather was a bit grim, I made the best of it and had a nice time out in the countryside. That could have been tricky but luckily I spotted the cache fairly quickly. TFTC, Biggles.
Came here while exploring in the area this afternoon. A quick find here. Signed log, TFTC

I came to this one after visiting the Sunday Farmer's Market. GeoYoungling and I took the short stroll over here, and I made the tricky wee find. All in good shape!

Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
After being in the North Island in Wellington area to hunt for historical cache and spending a few days at sea while finding bad weather without being able to take to the beach, here we are back in Chch, we decide to resume the trail already made in part two weeks ago , we reach Oxford and back.
Thanks for the laying and maintenance of this trail
Greetings from Italy

Jess.daphne, OrangePeel104 and I spent a fantastic sunny summer day caching our way to Ashley Gorge. We grabbed this one along the way and signed the log as JeJeOp.
There were a lot of cars around so we made our move quickly and got outta there before being muggled. Tftc.

Nice:-) Got it with Jess.Daphene and Ingeanous! Team signing JeJeOP. TFCT:-)
Stopped for dinner after our walk, and spotted a cache on the car GPS as we pulled in. Rather a chilly wind, so it wasn't as nice a spot as it could have been, and the decomposing lawnmowings made the hunt a bit less pleasant too. Pity that bit was in vain! Thanks.
Easily spotted. quiet around the area today. what a neat little township here. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc victoriousone. Find # 3399
#13175. It took 2 or 3 attempts to get to a spot where I could see the cache. Nicely done. TFTC.
After lunch in Rangiora, StreetWalker and I headed towards Oxford on a lovely sunny day to find a few caches. We didn't clear out the area, and will be back another time for some more caching (no great hardship).
After a coffee at a nearby establishment, we headed to this cache. The batteries in my Oregon decided to die at this moment, and while I replaced them then wrestled with putting the back of the unit on (sometimes it goes on first time but usually I have a lot of trouble with it), SW headed off, found the cache then brought the log book back to the car for me to sign. He even sorted out the GPSr for me. TFTC.

I had planned to head out to the Port Hills and find some caches and get some walking done there, but after waking with a splitting headache, and having had next to no sleep, that plan was off, as I barely felt well enough to get out of bed!!! And so by afternoon, though I was feeling a little better, by the time I got some stuff around the house done, it was definitely too late to head out there - so I decided to head towards oxford and find a few on the way there, and that way there wouldn't be any traffic like if I headed towards town.
I was aiming for at least 7, to get today to be a darker calendar day also (at least 11 finds), but ended up overachieving and actually finished the day with double at 14 new finds!
Was a nice and speedy find. Lots of cars in carpark, but absolutely noone around!

Quick easy find on my way through on an Oxford and Lolly clean up. The area was deserted as I made my early morning visit. Could be problematic later on a saturday am. Great container very good quality I wonder where you got it from? Thanks for the hide.
Road trip from Christchurch to Auckland and we are getting some caches for our 1st trip to South Island. Our 1st one for the trip. Wahoo! TFTC
I headed poolside on a sunny Oxford day
Too cold for swimming methinks !!
Muggle workers were fixing the pools filtration system when I arrived.
That made searching GZ a bit harder !!
But they were busy with their task,
so I busied meself with my task
A few laps of the ... er !! ... beach later and I had the cache sighted.
Using the hiding place for cover I could reach in and grab the cache
TFTC.
Great name for the cache !!

The next on our 210 run finding caches for the day with our team of four- HHSS. Working as a team each doing diff. roles we were able to speed up the find rate quite well and we managed to do about the first 100 with no Did Not Finds but after that the distances increased and the find rate dropped but we still managed to finish the day with 210 cache. The seagnoid has planned etc our route so it was all efficient Thank you to The Seagnoid for this pre work and thank you to the different cache Owners for these great, interesting caches. I just loved the huge chuppa chup and all the veges and fruit. . Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
[green] Out with Hanknstone, Haydn.seek and thestepahine on an awesome 200+ day. We managed to get 210 caches in 11 hours, an average of 3 minutes each. There were a few awesome caches out there, but mostly it was a blur. Thanks to all the cache owners, and my apologies about the cut and paste!

Hanknstone, Haydn.seek, the Seagnoid and I had a challenge of doing 200 caches in a day. We started at 7:30am and finished around 8:00pm with a total of 200+. Apologies for the copy and pasting of the logs but there were so many we found that it would take so long to write them all up individually! Thank you for the find.
Our team for the Mega weekend was signing as VYV (Vamber, Yorkshirekiwi83 and Vistra). we found quite a few in the short space of time we were together, where I can I will make comments about the cache. We had teamed up back in Auckland and had been busy planning what we were going to target and in what order, of course plans changed even more so when we were down here, but that is part of what makes it fun and I had a great time over the weekend, thanks to all the CO's for placing.

Day 3 in Christchurch and I again teamed up with yorkshirekiwi83 and vamber for another big day of caching. We signed the logs as "VYV" to save time and space on the logs. We made an early start to the day as we knew we would be going for 200 caches. We started with the Lolly Scramble caches (which we had begun the night before) and made our way up to Oxford, before returning to Kaiapoi and working on the Horses 101 series, finding a number of other caches along the way. Apologies for the generic logs, but thank you to all the cache owners for placing these caches!

Another quick find on Day 2 of the Mega, hitting the roads of Canterbury with vistra and yorkshirekiwi83, gathering the caches that the area had to offer. A quick find here, thanks for the hide!
Found with Chosen1978, Mrs Hazzer and Kiwigeoswami and Guwapo as team PEGS during CHCH Mega
Guwapo's out on the third day of our Mega Adventure with Uncle Granville and the PEGS crew. Salamat!
Found during the Mega weekend on bit of a tiki-tour around the Canterbury back blocks. Great weather, great caches, great fun! Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out and maintaining caches for us to find. All in all, a fun road trip with Boxhill and Yeetrees, we signed many of the logsheets as YGB to save both time and logsheet spaces.

This Cache was found during our Christchurch Mega Road Trip from the Deep South. A fabulous time was had exploring the region and discovering caches. All in all, a fun road trip with Guwapo, Granville86a, Mrs Hazzer and KiwiGeoswami, we signed the log as a Team under the name P.E.G.S to save both time and logsheet spaces. Nice wee hide TFTC
Muggled by the CO and her mum so started to discuss GirlGuiding things as I looked for the cache. Please remember to put back where you found it instead of just anywhere - CO said it wasn't in correct place when I did find it and it is now. Thanks for the cuppa as well before I headed back to town finding more of the Lolly Series I didn't have.
Up for the Mega with team PEGS from Southland. Enjoying all the caches we're finding. Never been to this area before. TFTC
In town for a “Mega” weekend of caching. I joined up with Yeetrees and gonefishing to form Team YGB. I really enjoyed exploring the country roads of Canterbury. We travelled a fair few Kilometres in the 4 days we were here, and had a great time, with a lot of laughs along the way. Good weather, and good company. It doesn’t get much better than that does it.
Thanks to all the CO’s for all the caches we found.

A plan was hatched way back in April to bring a group of crazy cachers from the South Auckland area for a weekend of lovely caching at the Mega. For most of us it was our first Mega and what a blast we had. From the first event cache at the Airport, surprising one of our group with a birthday trip to the Mega (literally 30min warning to boarding!), meeting lots of like minded people around the Kaiapoi district and to the manic days caching to late, late in the night with our mega flags flying we all had such a great time.
All logs were signed as SEAC South East Auckland Crew. Sorry for the cut and paste log, but all the trails, trads and tricks imagined by all the local CO’s were fantastic. Thank you to everyone for their wonderful hides. TFTC!

Came down to Christchurch for the 2015 MEGA with a group of caching buddies for the weekend. My first MEGA, and it was fantastic- loved every minute, the caching, the events, meeting other like-minded crazies (sorry, I mean cachers!!!). Our group found 283 caches throughout the course of the of the weekend, so apologies for the cut and paste logs- but it's going to take me hours to log them all!!!! All logs were signed as SEAC (South East Auckland Crew), to reflect out home caching base!
HUGE thanks to all involved in putting on the MEGA event, and also to all of the Chch CO's for the effort gone to in their hides- we found some awesome caches, including fantastic hides, and cleverly done camo.... well done Christchurch, you're an awesome bunch!
Many eyes make short work of finding a cache.... thanks for the hide!

Part of the “South East Auckland Crew” here for the Christchurch Mega. All logs done as “SEAC”. Sorry for the Generic logs…but when logging 200 in a day it can be a bit much. But thank you so much for placing all these awesome caches
Sat on the grass in the sun for a bit waiting for the groups of teenage muggles to disappear but was a quick find after that. Nicely camouflaged.
