Finally found this.
After finding "Fine Pork" in Redwood, comments on this one about it being translucent began to click in my head.
Today, I had about my 5th attempt at this, and while I found it, there were issues.
I will not go into here, but I have sent a message to CO.
TFTC
Cheers.

Finally. It helped having HS with me who gave clues as to what we might be looking for as per the hint. And after a long while, I actually realized the cache was staring at me right in the face! I'm not sure how many times I tried looking for this translucent gem. Thanks!
Did not find it due to too many people.
Will come back.
Need to think about all I did see.

Super fun, great hide. I’m 10 and found it with my sneaky eyes. Forgot pencil on bike ride so will fill in when next going past!
Sneaky little hide, nice one! Felt a little uncomfortable with signs warning of security cameras nearby but luckily we didn't need to loiter too long at GZ. TFTC
Proud I found this one on my first attempt with its reputation. I didn’t need gloves in the end.
Well now...aren't you a clever wee thing. Have been putting this one off due to people. Nobody around today! Well done!
Yeeeeeeeehaw.... found it. What a legendary hidey spot. It had both KTG and myself stumped. Luckily I came back here thinking like Tmann421 and found it within minutes. Yet another favorite from me and KTG. TFTC
Very pleased that after search on a previous day, was able to spot this very clever hide relatively quickly. Another great tmann cache. TFTC. KTG
Finally we found it! After multiple attempts during soccer season, we decided once more and we will give it up. FP for the pure satisfaction of finally finding this elusive cache. Thanks for a great hide
Such a cool cache! Almost gave up on the search but after a little break the cache revealed itself. TFTC
Finally found it after the third time! Three pairs of eyes looking for it. A great find.
You beauty.

I do not know why I made this so hard.

Was in Whitby today but the carpark was full and I wasn't in the mood for stealth mode, another time maybe, sounds like it's a cunning one!
Back again for what I think was my fifth visit, determined to find it this time. After some time searching all the same places again, and again, and re-reading past logs, I was almost ready to concede ultimate defeat when in one last look in places I'd looked before I finally spotted this elusive wee cache. So relieved! Amazing how difficult this one is to spot. TFTC.
We struck it lucky with this one, I spotted something that I thought might be related to the cache and so it proved to be. TFTC and the quick find for us!
Finally found it after several attempts! Definitely a tricky spot but worth the hunt!
I had made a couple of muggle interrupted attempts to find this cache in the past but today was the first time that I could search methodically. It's certainly a difficult cache to find and I am not sure a rating of three does it justice. I am very pleased to have left with a find here.
Second time hunting and still no luck but we won't be giving up, we'll be back!
Found it on the second visit! Really well hidden. Even when I had a good idea what we were looking for, I nearly missed it.
Oh well, got one nano today, will come back and have another look for this one another day.
Reeled this one in after a few head scratching minutes...
Enjoyed this puzzle with kimmy+co.
Love the cache container too

Easy find tftc, out for an afternoon with geeves90
After searching round for a bit then stopping to think we narrowed down the right place, slightly further then the GPS said.

Had some time to spare before catching the bus and I had noted that there were new hints for this one.
A surprisingly quick find thanks to the hints, I seriously doubt if I would ever have found the cache without them.
TFTC.

Second look here and was what and where I first expected ....just didn’t look well enough last time.
Very well positioned to make it that bit harder!! Thanks
Very well positioned to make it that bit harder!! Thanks
Checked today - original container in place as it has always been - this is a difficult to find cache - difficulty level reflects that it is not a quick find and best not done until cachers have experience with tricky hides. However have added another hint to make it a bit less of a search.
Also replaced the logsheet as old one was 80% full.

Looked for quite a while with no luck. I’ve noticed it hasn’t been found for 5 months so it is either really hard or gone. Will keep an eye out for somebodies success then try again!
Argh! Seriously I just can’t find it, 5 or more visits now. Can I be cheeky and grab an extra hint?
Extra hint sent - remember nano containers and high difficulty caches are best avoided until you get quite a bit of experience as they can be frustrating.
Could not find it again we only found a PS4 controller could we please have another hint cuz GPS is really jumpy
(# 4848). Woke up very early this morning and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get back to sleep. So I hauled myself out of bed and decided to grab a few caches before the real world woke up. Had trouble with this one before. This time no troubles and due to the time of the morning, no muggles were around. Everything in order. TFTC
At last! Finally got it! I've been here several times in the past without success (but not enough to log a DNF). Since my previous visit here I've found a couple of caches that gave me an idea of what I should be looking for so was fairly confident when turning up again. However the common factor of those other caches wasn't present here so had to look around some more, and that's when I spotted something interesting and soon had the cache in hand. Very, very sneaky! TFTC+FP
I found it! After many trips here searching, a helpful hints steered me right. At least I understand why I didn't find it now!!
On the couple of times I've been here before to case the joint I've never felt comfortable in doing a proper search. For a cache like this you need to do that. I stopped by this evening in the twilight and no-one was around and that remained the case for the time I was here. The GPS was unusually unhelpful and led me astray a bit. So I put that away and thought about things for a bit. I only spotted the container by doing some methodical searching and peering in a place I hadn't considered before. Not the hide I had imagined but the hint nevertheless put me on the right track. I don't think I would want all my finds to be that challenging but it's rewarding to find one like this once in a while.
The lad was having a preseason game on the field so while they did their warm up I wandered over to have another look for this little bugger. Have paid this cache a few visits off and on to try and locate. A number of visits have been waved off due to muggles but today it was all clear. Hadn't expected to do caching this morning so only had the the phone and c:geo which had the compass pointer indicating up the bank and not teeing up with the terrain rating.
Contemplating the game board, noticed something worth checking which in the end was a red herring. But it did put me in a position to spot something else which was infinitely more interesting. A short reel in and the cache was revealed. A very nice and cunning hide. Thanks for the hide.
With the log signed and cache returned to its hide it was off to watch the game. A 2 all draw and a reasonably entertaining game.

Found while out and about in the area. Took a long time to locate this one, a really clever hide worthy of a FP
B and I spent over an hour, on and off, hunting for this. Ironically, I had the right idea from the clue at the start, but couldn’t see anything to support it. After betting B that it had gone, we PAF’d a previous finder, and located the very cunning hide shortly after. Damn, I owe him chocolate now. TFTC!
OMG. Spent ages scouring environs with D. Went foraging, sat eating & regarding hall, searched again. Took break for some other caches and give PAF time to activate. Returned via Hall and found shortly after. Thanks tmann421?! The best part of the afternoon is D owes me a king-sized chocolate bar for cache still being present
Tricky wee one here! I tried the other day but muggles were about but I came back today and had success tftc!
Spotted from a distance and reeled it in. A nice catch. Tricky to spot. I can see why there are so many DNF'S. All good here. TFTC
Boo hoo.
Didnt search for long as the rain set in.
Will be very unhappy if on my next visit I find I had it in my hand all along.

Took me a while to spot. And I wasn't really looking for it when I did. While I was looking my phone rang, as I was righting down the details of the call I spotted something and upon closer inspection it turned out to be what I was looking for. Sneaky. Cheers and TFTC
This was down to the wire. My little man was grumpy, I stood in dog poo. Finally found but with no pen. Here is our photo proof. Was a tricky find.
#3002. Good to finally convert this cache to a smilie. After a couple of attempts at finding the cache in 2015, I finally locked my eyes on it in early 2016. But decided it would be a good one to leave for a wet night in winter. Well that's fine in theory but the two times I attempted to cash in, the place was over-run by junior muggles. Finally on a damp Saturday I turned up and the place was deserted. Perfect. Snuck in for a nice quick find. Its certainly well disguised. Used a tool to retrieve the cache and signed the log. There hasn't been anyone sign in since Sept 2015. Anyway the cache was dry so returned as found. Only extra hint I would add is the cache title is helpful. Cheers GSEL
Checked on cache here after all the DNF's - as expected original cache container is still where it has always been and in good condition.
Logsheet still has half of one side to use and perfectly dry.
Survelliance camera as with most is not live monitered and only would be viewed if any trouble was noticed.
Cache in a public area and no problems for geocachers to visit.

This Auckland cacher teamed up with a local cacher who had found this cache some time ago. We failed to find anything today.
I'm unlikely to attempt this (last nano was too unrewarding for the effort involved) but I did check out the area while nearby. I noticed that GZ is covered by surveillance cameras. Who monitors them and are they expecting geocachers?
No luck today but there are a lot of muggles about so a thorough search was out of the question. Will come back in term time I think.
No joy here today. I found something very suspicious, but couldn't figure it out (after much prodding and poking). We will be back... (^‿^)
Took us a while to find this, lots of thinking and looking for something to stand out in plain sight. Think we first found the remnants of an old one so we examined that area quite closely and there it was. Thanks for the clever hide that challenged us
We love finds that others struggle with so this was a must do cache while on our road trip. Love the hide very sneaky! Didn't take us too long to find. Tftc fav point from us
Woo-hoo! This was my second visit to this cache, and encouraged by the CO's recent log I was determined to track it down this time.
It took me a good half an hour and it was very satisfying to finally spot the little blighter.
Very nicely done and well worth a favourite point. Thanks very much for the cache.

Hmmm. A nano hidden in plain sight at dead accurate coordinates that requires some fishing skills. Should be easy. Wasn't for me. After I got home I reread every log and now have some new ideas that require a different search strategy. Will try again some stage. Shame I wasn't in that queue last Oct.
slightly dark so torch in hand may have a likely spot but couldn't quite get it sorted.... will revisit
Cache # 2,546 - after our previous unsuccessful attempts, came by today in the light rain and gave it another go. Tricky hide, but got it this time. Did with Astro Hunter and Violet Butterfly. TFTC!
Did today with The Wandering Dragons and Astro Hunter. Nice to finally get this one. Thanks!

A Mother's Day caching trip round our local area. This morning there were 11 traditional caches in Whitby that we hadn't found, I can't believe we've been so slack! Has some idea of what we were looking for here but still took a little while. TFTC!
May the fourth be with you. Finally found this crazy cache. I had previously looked in quite the wrong places. TFTC
What a clever hide. I'm glad to say it was a quick find. Sports field full of energetic players. Tftc.
Whitby wandering on a surprisingly pleasant Saturday afternoon. A few caches mixed in for fun.
Drive up, park. Then the fun began.
Cache find was tricky. We were in about-to-give-up mode, noting that there has been recent landscaping and foliage clearing going on in the area, when something slightly out of place caught the eye. A brazen hide, happy to catch this one.
All in order, log signed; safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Ohhh sneaky little fella this one, but found it before to long, trusted the coords and with some knowledge gained from previous finds bingo there it was, TFTC earns a favourite point from us.

The fairy half tried this one a while back without luck.. Today we searched again and eventually we had to PAF. We were literally staring at it and didn't see it until we looked again. Great cache. Thanks for the cache. Did with Mycro Man.
#1461 A tricky little hide here! We knew what we were looking for but couldn't spot it. A cheeky txt to a friend who had found it narrowed our search and then there it was. Brilliant wee cache. TFTC!
Found this cache after 2 visits or more..! Very nicely placed cache! Didn't take all that long to spot this morning thanks for the cache.
I was expecting this to be tough, and no doubt i'll be back for another go. While I was searching another cacher came by to say that she had tried and failed to find also!
Came here on an afternoon's expedition to clean up some of the new caches that were placed while I was away recently. It took a bit of searching to find the well hidden little object, but got there eventually. Fortunately the coordinates are dead accurate. Signed log, TFTC
Thought I knew what this was about after the briefest of looks on International Earthcache Day, but fairly exhausted then and stumbled about with a few other hunters without discovering the little blighter. Took all of 30 seconds this morning, which was pleasing. A nice one to top up the date on my grid.
TFTC!
