I am going to archive this multi and replace it with traditional caches.

After the last log and the way the weather has been, I will disable this cache until I can get out and check the waypoints, replacing any that need it.

I found the first WP when i was in the area a month or so ago. At the time i went to WP2 but someone was gardening nearby so I couldn't do anything without being obvious. Today I made a trip up to WP2 again, but this time the ***** where I think the cache is has been knocked over (looks like it was vandalised) so cannot get to it. I did have a look in other places, just in case, but couldn't see anything.

I had called at the listed coordinates over a month ago and found the container there pretty quickly. However it was raining heavily and I didn't feel like doing much more with it so I just photographed all the cards and moved on. Sat down this morning and had a look at the photos, then quite rapidly got a good-looking set of coordinates and the correct checksum. Came back this afternoon and completed the remaining stages without too many problems. A quick find at all stages, one or two hiccups with some of the maths and an obviously-corrected error, but resolved those and was happy to sign the log at last at GZ. Very nicely done sets of cards at all the stages! Thanks for an interestingly-different cache and the tour of the region.

Nice puzzle

Out for a trip in Whiteman's Valley with 2kking, having four people to work on the puzzles is more fun. A rare easy Multi with every stage a physical container. The hint is correct at every stage however the first co-ordinates seem a little out (which is how I explain being 10m away with the GPS when the wife found the cache Razz). Loved the little clue books. Please don't be put off by the scary DNF below. I suspect those people may have take maths past year 4 where they start getting some weird ideas (or they were using a calculator Surprised). TB in. FP.

#5867. 3TF. Great multi. Thanks to the checksums that got us to the end. A number of the questions had to be looked at again, and in one case ... again and again and again. Just as well we are not sitting NCEA anytime soon. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Same here, got so far then couldn't get any where near the sum check and gave it away. I've taken all the details so Ill have another go at home before returning.

Beta Testing completed. Thanks to all who pointed out where I was less smart than a Y4!

Great fun, for as much as we achieved anyway. Totally stumped at WP ? with the check-sum defying many re-works of the puzzle, and there it ended.

Wahoo! Very unexpected first-to-find @ 6:15pm, two days after publication Big Grin. When first published I didn't think I had the time to do justice to what sounded like it might be a significant mission. As the weather had improved markedly this afternoon, and there were still no logs published, thought it a good opportunity to have a crack. Razz

No problems at WP1 ... and then on to the rest! Twisted
A little common-sense required to get me to the final, and then very pleased to find a pristine and log-free logbook at the final. Lovely way to spend the beginning of the long weekend.

TFTC Nic-jay!
