A quick find here, cache is all goodCourtneyrose_ and I headed fora weekend away to Kangaroo Island, we came to check out the sights plus to compete in the Marathon. A great weekend away with a few caches found along the way. Today we drive around with friends Morgothegeo to find some caches as well. Thanks for the cache
G98 was straight onto this one.On Kangaroo Island for a few days mainly for parkrun and sightseeing. Of course we are caching in our group of gridge98, CourtneyRose and Sandyofthesea. SharkTank, I found Fairbairn's fun today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
TFTC! Lovely to explore Kangaroo Island! Despite the miserable weather. Only did a few quick ones today as the muggle sister was disinterested!
Finding caches was a great reason to visit this beautiful bay.The neighbours were very curious about what we were doing TFTC
Visiting from Sandpoint, Idaho, US. Found this cache nearby an AirBnB where Im staying with family. Brought two TBs by for a visit. Earlier, three of us took a dip in Emu Bay and a pod of dolphins swam up to see us. They came to within just a few feet. A treasured memory of Kangaroo Island! Ive attached a pic of some locals I passed as I was walking back to my accommodation. Thanks for the cache!
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. This morning we left our hotel in Victor Harbor early to drive to the ferry to Kangaroo Island. We arrived at the ferry way too early but as it turned out there was just one spot left on an earlier ferry. Great, no waiting and more time on Kangaroo Island. Since our B&B is on the other end of the Island we decided to first visit Cape Willoughby. After visiting this magnificent place we drove into the direction of our B&B stopping whenever there was a geocache because caches often lead you to great places. Thus this cache was also visited and the cache was quickly found without any problem. Thank you very much for this cache.
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived in Victor Harbor yesterday and today we travel to Kangaroo Island. After we have checked in at our accommodation there is time to explore the area. This cache was found.**SharkTank**, thanks for the cache.
We have arrived on Kangaroo Island for a 5 day break. We first had this trip planned several years back but that year KI had an extreme fire situation happen and we were offered a refund on our trip which we took. We have waited this long so that the island could regrow and show herself at her best. We have been using geocaching to guide us around and two days into our break we can certainly attest to her beauty. The caching has been interesting and we have many earth caches to write up and send to COs. All the caches we have found so far are in good condition. We did replace one log sheet. SL TFTC
Today, Geoturtle37 and I made a lightning fast trip around KI as there are no ferry trips for days due to the long weekend. This was a nice quick find once the dead possum was removed. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
21157During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
Great view from the pines! Thanks SharkTank for bringing me here and contributing to this great game for others to enjoy. Happy trails, Deanside

31. Oktober 2023 14:13 GENIONMAIK und BastiH =) waren da! Danke @ SharkTank, Starkastano, Agent Bumsmack fr den Cache!Viele Gre aus dem Salzlandkreis!
Easy find as it was exposed out in the open. Log signed, cache replaced with some local camo
Approaching the GZ, we passed a couple walking their baby along the road and out pops a kangaroo who ran up the road in front for 50 meters or so before veering off into the bush. So, live kangaroo on KI, check. Had a very nice chat with Jim and Alicia from Adelaide who were here on business and got some great tips as Adelaide is or next destination after KI. You never know who you'll meet while caching.
As for the cache, it was found in short order and in good condition. Signed the log. Thanks

A good, fun find. Kids found it in their own with not too much difficulty.
Owl is on Kangaroo Island with Ostrich, Magpie and Bowerbird to celebrate the 80 year friendship of Magpie and Bowerbird. The one advantage for Owl is that Bowerbird is the Magnificent Muggle and absolutely insists on Owl caching. Of course, Owl is happy to oblige. This was found on a long road trip around the island. Owl was hoping for a better view, but that came later.
No emus in Emu Bay, just lots of dead Roos on the side of the road! Thanks for bringing me here, another beautiful KI view. Cache dry and in good condition. Thanks sharktank
A nice quick drive y and this little quiet town.

Tagging along with friends on an epic adventure. Leaving our South Gippsland home with a days notice and driving 1061km straight through to Emu bay, Kangaroo Island as the Ferry we were going to board, was now out of action.
These are the caches we stopped to find along the way. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining caches in such amazing places.

Day 4 of our 7 day break on the Island. Todays target was east along the north coast starting from Kingscote. Of course the bitter cold rain started just as we arrived at GZ but a stamp in the log was made. Thank you for the placement of the Fairbairn's fun cache SharkTank, Starkastano, Agent Bumsmack find number 8467 on 12 September 2021 at 11:02 am
Mr and Mrs Parrot took a trip overseas to Kangroo island for the week.
We had a lovely time finding caches and interacting with the people selling produce and food to the public.
It fabulous to see the green starting to come baack into the fire ravaged areas. We had hired a house in Kingscote and ventured out each day in a different direction to see the sights and what the island had t off.
We also picked up 60 odd caches along the way.
My thanks for the quick responses to the Geocaches and the virtual cache which we sorted out before logging.
It was good to be able to complete Wonders of the world and become an Ultimate Explorer during my stay.

Found on way back home to SA. After watching a stunning sunrise and enjoying our last coffee sitting in front of our accommodation and looking at view of Emu Bay we packed and headed down the hill to get this cache before heading to catch the ferry, A quick find once we found somewhere safe to park. Quick find. TFTC
