I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Ryan00, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia
### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information.. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by %CO% and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayangCommunity Reviewer -Australia
I've tried to contact Ryan00 over a few caches but no response over 6 weeks. I think it's time that some need to move on if they aren't going to be maintained.I'd happily maintain them with some guidance since I haven't found them previously.
Ok. Third trip to this cache and now it seems that the place that held the cache has been subject to fire.
It's been a long time since this was last found but I can confidently say it's still there.
I saw the obvious spot so grabbed a stick to have a poke around with and I just happen to poke the right way and out popped the cache. Sometimes you just get really lucky!
I can see how it could be missed, it's a well camoed little container.
To all future finders, trust your GPS, the posted co-ords were spot on the mark for me.

After a long search had to give up on this one as the geodog was getting restless. We'll be coming back to try again soon! Tftc
Now this one was anotehr return visit since we were up this way again with the toolman, in fact as we searched it turns out he was with once before on one of our DNFs for this oen.
Well today I was busy searching one area and between the toolman and the goose a find was made, thanks for the tough cache.
Another busy weekend, this time with the toolman visiting from the big island, he was down for the weekend and to go to Agfest, catch up and find a few caches. Well we managed to do all that and we had a great time.
Thanks for the cache.

After trying to find this a cpl yrs ago and not finding it despite pulling apart half of the forest today we reconveened..
I had actually forgotten what this was until we rolled up hahaa, much to the disgust of my tassie guides GOOSE AND SSRAT !!
After about 10 min of delicatley filtering through the particular piece of subject matter i DISPATCHED a piece with force about 5 mtrs away...
SSRAT seemingly unimpressed stated 'youd better go check you havnt just thrown the CASH away ! !'
AS I wander off like a boy in trouble Goose makes the find where i had been only moments before. (With eyes closed clearly)
Anyways ... heres the 'FOUND LOG'.
Tftc and the meander through the bush.

I've been here too many times for one cache but now I never have to come back again. Well not for this one anyway!
A bit of teamwork between the finess of the toolman and my haphazard approach soon had us grinning from ear to ear. I'm not sure what stainless steel rat was doing!
All jokes aside, I'm stoked to finally find this one.
Thanks Ryan00

Sure enough, this one couldn't be found in its hiding spot nor around it. I'll get to making a new container soon
Can the cache owner please check this cache. No finds for almost a year, and one DNF (by myself)
Omg.. Victory.. First visit but we spent an hour here.. Wow!! Brilliant, just brilliant!!
Omg looked forever!!! Lol such an awesome camouflaged spot love it well done tftc
Another DNF this time with Gooseandegg, toolman and even Tassie Trekkers turned up after we rang them for a PAF.
We were here that long that TT had time to do their shopping and walk out to us after they did they shopping, they agreed that it wasn't in the spot they found it.
We did find the camo part with glue on it but no container, with 5 of us searching we must all be blind but this is another DNF on this cache.
The only thing that stopped us searching was an evening meal with fellow cachers that we had to get to, thanks for another DNF.
I sent a pic of the bit of the cache we found to the CO in the hope of a clue but nothing was forthcoming.
thanks for the dnf

Second time but have found the one at the soccer ground so I had a feeling I new what I was looking 4. Took a bit and trusted my phones GPS fot it. Lid may need some glue. All ok tftc
I got back to try and find this, was about to give up, so I pretty much phoned a friend, got a hint, I don't know if it really helped, well, it must have, as I found this elusive little cache. Thanks for getting me out there twice, and TFTC.
Nope. I new it would be hard and I came away scratching my head after a good 30 minutes.
Third time I had come to this one and finally come up with the good today, once you see it you can’t miss it! Unfortunately the log is wet and I was unable to sign it. TFTC
The d rating attached us to this one and despite. Plenty of muggles walking dogs which gave the GPSr time to settle and then after a brief search we made the find. Gotta love it when that happens on what is a tricky hide. TFTC.
I wandered along the path
And found GZ
So where's the cache ??
I poked here,
I looked there,
And poked and looked everywhere
I think the outcome was inevitable really

Found it. Fking hard! We (daryvafder and I) were here for about an hour. But we found it! Well done
Omg well that is a tricky little thing now isn’t it! Spent over an hour in this bushy land looking into and feeling every bit of bark, tree, rock & nature. Finally found it well my friend with me pulled it out.
Forgot to add: paper is a mess it could use a new possibly waterproof log perhaps?
This was my fourth visit and I wasn't leaving without it this time. 45 minutes later, with much head scratching, swearing and out right frustration, I held my cleverly concealed trophy skyward and praised the geo-gods for their mercy.
Thank you for the opportunity to test my patience and see just how far I could stretch my mental limits.
This cache was hunted, tagged and released by activehunters tftc.

Went searching for this one today, was there for about 30mins but had no luck, like finding a needle in a hay stack, will be back in the near future
Went back for a second go and found it within 4 minutes of arrival! This time (with the help of Google Earth) we narrowed our search and found this wonderfully hidden gem. Gets a fav from us and thanks for the challenge.
This was the 2nd DNF for the day in this area. Having read the previous logs we knew it would be hard to find this one and allocated a fair bit of time. All I can say is that far more experienced cachers have had to return for this one so I don't feel quite so bad. Another day...
Our only dnf of the day - geobub's patience lasted for about half an hour but it wasn't enough - I'm consoled by knowing we are in good company though. We may get another chance to try again, thanks anyway.
YEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! A seriously satisfying find having had a quick go several weeks ago and failing miserably. Mrs kevosaurusrex gets the glory on this one, check out that stoked face!!!! We've earned a milkshake now for finding this one, very tricky and seriously frustrating but amazing to crack. Thanks Ryan00!!!
Found and signed the logbook. I found it lying on the ground and container was nowhere to be seen. Scratch that, found container and replaced. Wow this ones hard.
Hi Ryan00
Had been tied up in the Huon too long; so into the cache mobile and head for Launceston to look for gnomes and a few other caches.
Gets to Trevallyn only to find most of the moveables I want to collect had already been found and not put back out yet.
So I looks on the GPS and the Geocaching Australia site, there are two moveables still in the vicinity, so off I go to look for them.
Having made those finds, it was now time to look for others. My next find was "Out on a Tangent." That found this cache was the next.
Found and Sainted this cache at 1210hrs.
Now off to "Bark Reach." Having thought I might have dropped my camera on the way in, the walk back was spent searching the track as I moved closer to the car, where I found I had left the camera in the first place.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

Have looked at this cache a few times but always put off doing it as it looked too hard. But today we had time for one more cache before we headed home and decided to give it a go.
After our second unsuccessful attempt at 'Still Lost in Punchbowl' today we weren't expecting success here but I guess we got our caching mojo back and had this one found, logged and returned in less than 5 minutes. We were pretty happy with this effort as this was our first attempt at this one and we had no extra clues or information about it from other cachers.
Did notice that the log sheet was torn and part of it jammed down in to the container. Managed to sign on the small torn bit accessible from the top but this one might need a check soon.
Thanks, a well deserved favourite point from us.

Whoo hoo, yippee & all that! Yep on this cache with less than a 50% hit rate we too have lurked around these parts too often & for far too long than is good for our health. We logged a DNF back in August but that was just the tip of the iceberg of our multiple visits. Suffice to say we can find our way to GZ blindfold by counting the steps & the GPS'rs can stay switched off. Yet, like Rocket2015, today it was in our hands within 5 minutes. Weird. Also, I'm sure that in the past we were operating on a drastically shorter hint as the additional words certainly made a change to our search strategy. We're stoked to finally nail this beastie. Fav point for the sheer "do your head in" challenge nature of this doozy. All good cache-wise Ryan00.
Back in Tassie finding caches that have been published since our last visit, this is one of them. We have been here before and returned today allocating an hour to search. 40 minutes had passed and Mr "T" made the find. Yes it is there, hard to find, but a satisying find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
like so many before us we will have to come back for another crack. After an hour here we gave up and left disappointed.
At about 15.30 when we started searching for this one, knowing that the CO's coords are often out a little bit we were searching all over the place for about an hour before throwing in the towel and heading back. When I'm next up this way this one will not be on my hit list for a quick find I can tell you.
Myself and Goose of GooseandEgg fame had traveled 'Up North' to attend the event marking the departure of the Chopperersrules clan from Tasmania since they are moving to the big island, along with meeting and saying a farewell to the chopper family we made a list of must find caches while we were in the area.
We had been working on this list since Goose nominated himself to be parker this trip and do the driving, the list started out with and it goes without saying the Event then followed by four or five caches to fill our many grids of D/T, placed date etc, after that the next addition was the choppersrules puzzle and its prerequisite since it only seamed right with them leaving, then the list sort of stalled due to just blanket adding all the nearby caches would mean we would have ended up finding all of Launceston, so we ended up adding a few caches that stood out you know puzzles and the like and we had our target list of sweet sixteen caches.
Well it turns out we found getting on for 30 caches when you add GC and GCA together and as for getting home when it was light we only just avoided turning into pumpkins, but we both had a great day meeting fellow caches and finding some great caches.

Talk about cache mission nearly impossible. This one has been driving me insane and giving me nightmares after countless frustrating DNFs going home and scratching of my head wondering where on earth this elusive little cache is. Today on my lunch break I made the treck back down to the GZ for another hour of torture in hope of finding it, and much to my surprise and relief within 5 minutes i had the sneaky little well camouflaged container in my hands, and couldn't get the log out quick enough to sign it. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was actually awake and not dreaming i'd found it.
To all the cachers thinking of coming down here to find this one, good luck because you'll need it, as its a very well camouflaged and hidden cache that will test your skills and patience, and don't give up because it is still here
Thanks to Ryan for what has been one of the most challenging caches to date.
Cheers

This is one of those frustrating caches that is just going to haunt me until I finally find the sneaky little thing. Another frustrating DNF for me tonight.
As we were in the area we just had to come for another bash at this doozy. The fact that it's one of those elusive D/T's gave us extra impetus to search long & hard... yet again. In fact I think the frustration of the search may be giving us the "DT's"! Spent far too long examining the minutiae of vegetation in the area. We may be taking the "hint" too literally. And once again we leave sad, dejected & empty handed. Three visits & countless hours down but we refuse to be defeated! Thanks for the challenge Ryan00.
Despite not many finds logged on this cache, I thought id come down and have a crack at it... I gave it my best for a good hour but came up with a DNF and can now see why this cache has not many finds... Will come back again another day for a scout around.
Either individually or as a team we have visited this location on at least eight occasions. We didn't log a DNF on each occasion, just when we felt totally frustrated. It is obvious that numerous others have also been making visits because the amount of environmental damage to the area is very noticeable. When we went to the area yesterday there was an added complication: the gate near where we parked the car had a sign warning dog owners that snakes had been seen in the area (we didn't see any). We looked yesterday without success but decided to return early this morning for yet another try. As he was getting into an area to search again, Mr y'stassie slipped and fell (thankfully without any dire consequences) and two things happened. Firstly a largish rock was disturbed and hundreds of rather large and aggressive bull ants emerged to protect themselves - needless to say, Mr y'stassie moved as quickly as he could. Secondly, having got upright and moving away down the slope a little, away from the ants, Mr y'stassie was watching his foot placement very carefully when he noticed something on the ground - it was the cache, with the part containing the log upmost. Either it had been in the open prior to our arrival (we didn't see it yesterday) or in his srcamblings, Mr y'stassie had dislodged it. Either way it was a find and we were not going to knock it back. After signing the log (which was damp at one end), we attempted to replace the cache but could not find where it was located. Eventually we replaced the cache where we found it but with the camo to the top so that the cache container was not visible. We have no idea whether or not the cache container is in the right location - the cache owner needs to check the location as a matter of priority. This cache was like trying to find a "needle in a haystack" and was not a good caching experience for us. Congratulations again to carlin & Sondra - how you found this cache is beyond us. Thanks Ryan00.
Searched for 30 mins but with no luck. Obviously in the vicinity of GZ as evidence of searching is obvious.
Well this was never going to happen. Familiar territory, but with a D4, only one find to date & our current game of find ping pong firmly in the DNF zone we were almost guaranteed a blue sulky. Then a couple of muggles came along & put us off our mojo entirely. Scarpered before they came back to find us still poking around there looking highly sus.
After four separate visits to search for this cache (two in the dark!) we have finally found it! We enjoyed the search! Tftc! FTF 19:40. Thanks Ryan00!
I checked the coordinates on google earth and it appears that the coordinates are spot on. I can tell this because it's in the right location next to the path. If you've been to the area already you might be able to identify where it's pointing to, because of course, a GPS can point in the wrong spot due to trees and other factors such as the weather. A hint was added yesterday.
Good luck to on coming attempts.
Good luck to on coming attempts.
Despite the updated coordinates and the additional information, after another 45 minutes by both of us, the cache was not located. Like previous cacher, we will give this cache a miss until someone else finds it.
I don't know what the CO has set up here, but if the co-ords are now correct then I was standing on, under or next to whatever this cache is. Another hour spent looking, another DNF, that's the way goes I suppose. I am going to wait until somone else finds this now. Thanks for the adventure regardless!

Disabling is probably the right thing to do for the moment. Hopefully it'll be back up and running this weekend.
Mrs y'stassie was back in Launceston on Tuesday for an embroidery workshop. Despite the new clue and 45 minutes of searching, no joy. We do not plan to return until the coordinates are updated.
Like previous two entries this was a DNF for us after two attempts and about 2hrs of searching
Dang frazza rang dang. I spent an hour here - I could not find it at all. No FTF for me.
Mrs y'stassie went to look for this cache whilst Mr y'stassie went to look for two others in the area. She had already been looking unsuccessfully for about 30 minutes before Mr y'stassie joined her. In all Mrs y'stassie searched for 1.5 hours and Mr y'stassie for another 1 hour, but this cache eluded us. We were able to identify GZ and gradually widened our search area until our GPS units indicated that we were 20m from GZ. We then repeated the search but without success. As well as concentrating around GZ, we also focussed on areas consistent with the cache name. Eventually we gave up. Either this is an exceptionally good hide or the coordinates, as happened with two other searches in the area today, were less than accurate. As there have been two DNFs today with the teams searching for a combined time of 3.5 hours, it would be good if this could be checked out, in particular the accuracy of the coordinates. Once the coordinates are confirmed, we will return for another attempt. Thanks Ryan00.
Until the coordinates are updated:
The cache is on the north-most side of the track, and it is less than 5 metres from the track.
Sorry for inconveniences.
