Logs
This place has had too much nearby development (and has now gone missing twice) for its continued existence to be viable. Bye bye.
The SPs were out today on a maintenance run.
Visited with some TBs whilst we attended to the cache.
This one received NO attention as it is gone. Given the increase in development around here, we feel it is time to archive this one. An Archive log will follow.

I was with some other cachers that have previously found this one and remins of velcro are there but not cache itself. Probably muggled needs some maintenance
Wanted to dream a little bit today, but didn't find it. Put it on my watchlist to see if others will be successful. Tftc
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:45 am. The cache was found quickly. We had to wait quite a few minutes to get the cache back into place. There were muggles about walking. TFTC

Just for a change we decided to focus, mainly, on one CO.
Slow Puncture (LJCC) was our choice for today.
All up today we did 13 SPs & 2 Ring ins.
This was 1 of 15 in total.
After an uneventful trip north we soon zeroed in on GZ.
It was nice of the developers/council to provide a personal parking space here for us.
A quick find was made here today.
It appears the work is picking up with cyclone fence barriers & new (as yet unfinished) landscaping.
I hope it doesn't cause problems for the cache or cachers.

I was actually on my way to find something for lunch and happened to realise this one was not far away. So I took the quick turn the other way to go and take a look.
The area around GZ was empty today and I had a good idea where to take a look. Well glad I did not just stick my hands in there as it seems wasps are building a nest quite close to GZ. Soon using the phone camera the cache come to light and my name added to the log.

This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 10:45:00 AM, but the area was fenced off with workmen clustered around GZ, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Despite being a gloomy looking day, we decided to and find some caches - turned out to be a good decision as the rain held off the whole day. This was a nice quick find for us today. TNLNSL TFTC

Find number 5 tonight out of an aim of 8 (ended up with 6). Since this cache was released I have pondered over the CO's choice of using velcro. I hadn't seen it used in a cache before and my imagination was running wild with what and how. When I realised tonight that this cache wasn't too far off the path of my travels I thought I should make the effort and go check it out.
Very glad I did...Firstly, that bridge - WOW, lovely entry into the new estate. I actually found myself trying to get my bearings as I crossed and work out what the bridge was straddled over, only to see the train lights heading my direction - ahhh, of course!
Pulled over at GZ and found where I thought the cache should be. I started searching and feeling around and it wasn't too long before I was rewarded with the find. The velcro, so simple, yet so ingenious - love it Slow Puncture!
I sat on the concrete path for a little while and signed the log, and just enjoyed the peacefulness of the area when some neighbouring dogs finally realised I was in the area so started barking at me. That was my cue to leave so I carefully replaced the cache and headed off.
Thanks for the cache guys.

We are visiting with Urdera and on a beautiful autumn day caching in the area was a real delight. Found this one after a short search. Thanks to Slow Puncture (LJCC).
Heading out for a bit of a drive and spot a Slow Puncture cache I haven't yet got!
Have to rectify that!
Parked up nearby and snuck over towards GZ. Lucky it was in the first place I looked!
Managed to stand in the mud!! Grrrr

I'd wanted to have a sticky beak at this estate since it was started, so decided to make it today's bike ride destination
A quick easy find and then we rode around the streets for a look. I'm not sure I'd want to live out here, I can't see that they could possibly have managed the flooding problem but time will tell I guess.
Interesting to see a lane named after Ron Grant.
Good to get a smiley on the map, only have a couple under 5kms from home now, mostly ones that are on the other side of the highway and seeing as we don't drive, I'm not keen on riding to those.

I was working around Caboolture this morning and had a little time up my sleeve before my next appointment, so why not grab a cache or two.
This is such a new area, that I never new existed. I parked only a short stroll from GZ and wandered over following my Garmins directions.
Now he wanted me here there and everywhere, but I sort of knew where I had to look. Tried one end, no good. So I tried the other end and bingo....
I removed the cache and signed our name in the log before replacing the cache exactly back as I found it.

We called round here on our way home from shopping, It was very quiet so it made for a quick find. TFTC.
Out on a MTB ride when I stopped for this one. Found after a quick search. SL TNLN TFTC
We had never driven into this subdivision before so it was good to spend some extra time and tour around. After looking at the suburban sights, we parked a short walk from the GZ. A nice, quick find.
Out with Suzzy Squirrel and Minkos Des today. Slightly confused about the river??? An easy find though TFTC Slow Puncture!
#791 @ 9:18 am. A day trip to Caboolture with MinkosDes and mtill17 today to pick up some caches. Surprisingly affordable!! Surprisingly riverless.TFTC Slow Puncture !
I too am confused as to the name of this estate... We all could not see a river, not even a trickle as far as the eye could see. Ohh, I understand now... The river is in your dreams!
The reason of us Coastal Kids to be down here was because I had the day off work and the Muggle Partner had to go to BNE for the weekend leaving me with a free day. What do you think I did with it... Fed my addiction! I was joined by *SuzySquirrel* and mtill17 and it was decided that we would also head down South and Caboolture was the lucky town of choice.
Thanks for this funny little cache Slow Puncture (LJCC). Your cache is in good order and at this stage, still riverless!

Nice quick find. Nice spot, haven't cone out to this part of town before. TFTC.
Following a muggling and more than one report of the cache being found out in the open, it is now attached to its hiding place with velcro. Please replace in the same location to secure the cache. Thanks.
Got this one but cache was laying in open not sure if back in correct place but right near where we found it

My closest cache and I went to this one early in the morning.
I had a fair idea where I would locate it and I was correct.
Signed and returned to hide.

Cleaning up a few green dots on my map, this was the third one on my list. I was happy to see that it had recently been replaced, thanks to the CO for prompt maintenance. We pulled up close to GZ and I had a good idea where I would be searching. I head over to grab the cache and found it in the first spot I looked.
It seems that some teeny, tiny ants have decided that this will be a good place to inhabit. Thankfully they were not the annoying type and they didn't rush all over me when I opened the container. I signed the log and then replaced the cache back where it belonged.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture

Second time lucky, and I had the cache in seconds. Quick sign and on my way... TFTC Slow Puncture
Searched the obvious spot at this one however it eluded me today. Will have a go next time I'm in the area.

Gee, it didn't take long for this one to go walkies
We have replaced the container and put in a new log - if it disappears again we will be forced to assume it was just not a good place.

:-[ Spent an hour wandering around without any success. Had to examine plant life closely at a couple of times due to passing muggles.
I really hope this is still here and its just me having a bad day. Thorough search, no luck
A quick find with geojaegar son after eistodfodd actually found cache on the ground luckily all in tact so we logged in and placed it more securely
An icon popping up on my car gps that wasn’t appearing in the printed (but now out of date) version of my roadtrip PQ, had me signing this new release as the 3rd name in the log over 840km from home. Have read logs posted since my find (taken me a while to get mine uploaded due to travelling) but I had no problem locating the hide. Co-ords may have been slightly out (still within acceptable radius of error) but not a lot of options to search.
*FTF* at 8.50pm. I was checking my emails when I saw the notification for this new cache had been sent out an hour ago I interrupted Freddo's very important adult viewing time (The Muppet Movie) to see if he'd like to go for a drive. Funny how when you're on the way to a new cache every driver driving in the same direction as you looks like a cacher isn't it? We pulled up near GZ and quickly found the hide, the container and...the empty log! Tftc Slow Puncture (LJCC) and the extremely cool geocoin.
On a different note- The name of this cache brought back great memories, I used to tape Billy Joel's songs from the radio (that's showing my age isn't it?) and this album was one of my favourites!
