Redid our count from a previous visit. Had a thorough search & still no luck. Then I moved something & there it was. Fav point
A good multi which has brought us back numerous times. We some time on our hands today. Had a proper count up. Pretty sure we had the correct GZ, then hunted for this sneaky cache. Tftc
Nice quick muilt as we were in the areaLove these one don't take all day to doEasy find thanks
Over with ABCDF4 and eyespyben.Sat on one of the seats as we did the counting. Soon had some coords that looked promising. Once there a little search revealed the well hidden cache. Thank you for the placement.
In the area doing other caches, rude not to stop by and do this one. Love the quality of your hides. Another FP from me.
Here Kiwi Does and I are, nearly midnight after ticking off the other night caches getting distracted. 23:05 and were lighting up the playground looking for the answers! Well worth the scrambling youve made us all do tonight! FP &TFTC!
We have a few days in Tauranga on our trip - nothing much planned just a quiet spot to stop for a few days. Kids are sleeping in this morning so time to get some caches - not many close to our accommodation so a quick drive first.Walked a path back to this park. I have a similar multi at home (they are a nightmare as council keeps changing the equipment). As usual I was terrible at this type (and I wasn't counting those trees when I had a checksum). First numbers were close but clearly not correct. Went back and realised the wrong bit of equipment was counted. Thus gave me a better spot. Took a bit of hunting (and departed when a dog walker appeared) and finally I felt the right spot and things came together - nicely designed here.TFTC TNXPro
Great to follow this multi and pick up the cache here, with help from the friendly CO! He has adjusted some of the answers (which have changed) which will be useful. Love the final - a favourite from me, TFTC
Found with doggydoo12. Once again, one of the best caches I've done. Thanks so much for a super awesome hide!
Woo fun little night hunt! Can't believe we needed the hint
Some brand new benches have very recently been installed so we ignored those in our count. Pdnz will message the cache owner and I'm sure it'll be updated to include the new seats.
Great cache, thanks!!

I needed to get a multi cache today for a challenge cache in the South Island. This one took a while as I kept getting the wrong answer for Z. I also got more than what was calculated from the checksum. So I used the answer that I got when using the checksum.
The cache took a little while to locate. Have to give it a fave.
Cheers for the cache, TNXPro.

Thanks for the heads up about the cache missing. Seems a little odd that it's gone and there's been damage done to the fence. I hope geocachers haven't done this. Anyway, cache has been replaced.
Had another go and managed to find the spot but sadly it was empty. Thanks for a fun hunt.
It was fun to be on the playground. The cache was well hidden. We found the hiding spot but it was empty.
When I first started geocaching I did this one. Stuff it up. Lol. Today was not the case. The place was empty so it made things easier. Really cool cache I enjoyed that. A fav added. Tftc
Great cache. Counting those trees was pretty damn tough . Love the stealth on this one.
Were visiting friends and had planned a mini trip around being in Welcome Bay. Was glad to solve this (after a tree recount) and led us to the right place. A poke here and there an thing moved!
Disrupted about 1000 bugs in the hiding spot though .

Finding this cache was an extremely rewarding experience. We spent some time enjoying this wonderful little park, as our children took advantage of the empty playground. Before long, kids from nearby houses joined them and they all began to play together, making new friendships in the way that only kids can. After watching them having fun on the flying fox and playing games of tag, we decided to search for the cache. The kids gave us the answers to the playground clues, and then we split up in pairs to count the trees. We counted more trees than expected, as our result for that clue ended up with double digits, but we persisted all the same. Soon, the TeamTaylana family had zeroed in on the likely spot, but it wasn't until we looked at the hint that the cache revealed itself. A brilliant hide, and apart from the bugs that had made themselves at home beside the cache, the kids absolutely loved the adventure. This one is getting a fave from us! TFTC
Hmmmm, kids had fun solving the puzzle but no luck finding the cache. Will have to come back another day
Tried to do this one but I hate caches that require you to hand around children’s playgrounds - really awful for me.
Due to Covid19, and to encourage people to "stay at home" to prevent spreading the virus, I am joining others in temporarily disabling my caches. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THIS CACHE.
It took me a while to get this one. I had everything correct, but was fooled by the hide. I should have expected this from TNXPro.
Thanks for the cache, and your creativity!

Down from Auckland for the holidays doing a house swap in the area. Took the kids to the park and counted all the things necessary to get the coordinates. Either more trees have been planted since this cache was put there or I have double vision as my final number was a double! No matter, I ignored the tree digit and went hunting without it. Soon had the cache in hand along with a HUGE cockroach. Great camouflage- also liked the log container. TFTC!
This was an awesome multi especially as the Little One could get really involved and got to solve the puzzle. We headed off to GZ but the once over provided no treasure so it was back to check our math...whilst the boys were busy recounting trees Mrs had trust in the numbers and headed back to GZ after reading previous posts (haha) Mrs soon had the cache in hand gets a fav, thanks!
3rd attempt at this one. triple checked our kid supplied intel. Explored the suspected area. Wife made the discovery and I got a happy Wife. Priceless. The hiding spot is very creative. Thank U.
What an awesome little find. We are getting better at these. The kids could help for coordinates and hidden away nicely at the end. The log book is quite wet. Unsure if it’s previously been in a waterproof bag but it isn’t currently and could benefit from one. Great find.
Tidying things up and finally getting around to logging my DNFs
No find for us here today
No find for us here today
Off to a bad start today, didn't see until logging it was a TNXPro cache so we were most likely at right final area but didn't spot the container.
Headed to Tauranga for a long weekend of caching with Merlot58 and Jag50. A few muggles in the park, but they were leaving as we arrived. We made our calculations, but couldn't quite get the checksum to work. Made a judgement call and headed off in search. Finally located the sneakily concealed cache as the rain started to come down.
Teamed up with Merlot58 and Aiden29 to form team JAM. Got to the park and as we entered a few muggles left but still a few left behind. We did the counts and realised it was not quite right. Made a Cachers judgement adjustment and identified the likely Cooords. Got to GZ and spent a few minutes before merlot58 had the cache spotted.
JAM came down to Tauranga for a weekend of caching and to meet a few local cachers. We were targeting high fav point caches and this was on our list to do before we set off to do the nearby night caches. There were a couple of muggles in the playground but they left just after we arrived so we set about counting. The number of trees was tricky as we weren't sure if that included those in the garden but we figured it could only be one number and quickly had our calculations done and off to gz we went where it didn't take me too long to find the nicely hidden cache.
Lovely little park and a great place to sit a solve some Multi-cache clues. Worked out the general area to look so we crossed to where we needed to be and started the hunting. Something nudged my wee brain and I remembered something slightly similar from another cache and sure enough there it was. Clever hide and a lovely spot to have morning tea
Very clever hide. We arrived at the park and sat down to solve the puzzle. Once we had the final co ordinates off we trotted. We were searching all over then Mum found it somewhere I had just searched. Nevermind just happy to have found it. Thanks.
Came here with my aunty, this was my first multi-cache. I had fun working out the different parts of the cache, took me awhile to actually find the final at GZ.
Did this as part of Show me the Ropes challenge.
Did this as part of Show me the Ropes challenge.
On my way to go for a night cache in the day light i stopped and decided to do this multi, got to GZ and the muggle neighbours dog started barking. So i had a chat with them about what geocaching is, and of course they now know it is there. Like others I wasn't too sure about the number of trees, but figured it out as the math lead. Awesome multi
Last cache on my BOP trip. Went to the park which was deserted. Got the required information then on to the final. After a small search I located the cleverly hidden cache. All in order. Thanks for the puzzle and bringing me here.
Back in Tauranga for another visit with family. Heading home today so before departing dropped by here to try and turn the sad face into a smilie.
Knew I was in the right place last time looked but perhaps didn't have the right mindset going back then. [B)] Today, after a short search turned up the cleverly hidden cache. Should have realised, the CO is very good with his hides. Well done. Thanks for the hide.

I can assure you that the container was back in place the same day I did the last maintenance. Come find me!
I came. I figured out the puzzle. I had a search, finding just a pair of plastic glasses but no geocache. Had a read of the logs to see that the CO had removed the log to dry out. Ok so now I have the answer, I shall have to revisit when next back in Tauranga.
Cheers for the multi.
Cheers for the multi.
Not sure if this has been placed back, But tried our best to find it thought we had the general area but looking up and down could not find it
Have removed cache briefly while I dry the container out. Will be back in place with a fresh new log as soon as I can.
In the area with EIR - 0T, sabre2th, and 2 horses trying out different cache types and knowing this CO makes good caches chose this one to locate.
The kids did the intel gathering. ...some maths calcs done with some interesting outcomes and we all split for our respective GZ's. ...all GZ's are checked. ...twice then concentrate one one. ...finally Mrs stik-a-crane makes the discovery. ...very nice hide.
TFTC.

... and on a day of making new geocaching friends we found this one too. There was some disagreement about the number of trees, but the check sum gave us the solution in the end. These type of caches are what "floats my boat". Thanks TNXPro - happy cacher
Caching in the rain is never my favourite but sometimes it has to be done. Couldn't quite get the co-ordinates to work out but I was close enough for cacher's instinct to take over. Very nice cache and container. TFTC.
Well, after finding all I needed I headed over to gz but family on other side enjoying the nice weather and I was trying not to crunch the crunchy leaves and land up being seen! so retreated and will find next time
Had a lil one with me today so off to this park we go. A quick couple of sums and Wullah! Very awesome camo. A fave from me. Cheers Tnx
Second time here, came to the same results and ended up in the same corner, but couldn't find anything. So I just started walking around, touching everything (after reading some logs I thought it might help), yes, finally something moved. But I was on the wrong side and couldn't see the cache, touched below: nothing. Last look from the left and here it was.
Great hiding spot!! Wonder how the owner found it
Great hiding spot!! Wonder how the owner found it
Came back for this one with my cousin and with more time I managed to find this one in its amazing hiding spot which was full of bugs. Great hide
We worked through the questions and got the final coordinates but as we started looking the rain came pouring down. We will be back for this one on another fine day this summer.
Another nicely camoed cache and a nice little park for a multi. Did all the questions for the most significant numbers and then wandered off to GZ. Couple of likely decoys but once again Mr TW was onto this one quickly. TFTC
What a great cache! Having just moved to the area I went to this park with mini Brennaz to have a play and do a bit of geocaching. I managed to avoid counting all the trees by doing some crafty subtracting thanks to your carefully worded description. Soon the cache was in hand. Love the design and the camo. Great job.
Tftc! (No.2 find of the day)
A quick count of all things necessary, then off to find the final. Was expecting the unexpected, and looked in all the expected places, as well as few unexpected places. Yodabeach was the one to spot it...along the lines of what I was expecting. Clever hide. Thanks for the fun.

I'd solved this a month or so ago and still had the corrected coords (but failed to find). Ran through the numbers again afresh with thescoobydoos in case I got something wrong but came up with the same numbers. This time I had no problems finding the well-hidden cache. I knew what not to try this time, after having a good hunt around. Managed to replace just in time before a muggle came past. Great little multi! TFTC
Wandered over the hill with ME this afternoon before school was out. Did all the numbers and found the Co ords.
Poked , prodded, wriggled. Had a lengthy conversation as 2 dog walkers passed by.
Then ME presented me with the goods.
Cool hide. Took a photo for future reference.
A fave from us.
Cheers

The kids helped solve but we were out by 1 according to the checksum. Checked the easily checkable answers so figured we must've counted one too many trees. So we headed to the new coords and it looked about right but no luck - even after seeing who the CO was and knowing to expect the unexpected. Oh well, I'll come back with fresh eyes someday soon, we had fun
This has to be given a 5 star rating. A deeply satisfying find! Over from UK (Leicester) visiting my sister (geocacher "monty&ck") who lives very close to this delightful park. Beautiful sunny late afternoon, strolled down to the park trying to look inconspicuous and casual, but a cheery girl in playground started quizzing us as to why we were there. Explained we were checking the playground to see if suitable for my little granddaughter who is 2 years old and visiting soon (true) which led to big discussions about difficulty levels of the slides, swings, rings etc. She announced she was "6 but i'll be 7 this year". After this happy interruption she went off to play with her friend, and we could zero in on GZ. Took a little while to figure it out, but suddenly something moved, and big grins all round. Will definitely get a favourite rating.
FP for this cache.
Another well contructed / hidden cache from TNXPRO this is the first cache of hopefully a record day for us today. Out with Philip.Perry and Tnxpro today on a mission to collect 130ish caches today I've started with this cache as it's close to our starting point and the other two are probably still asleep wake up guys let's go.

Great fun. First attempt at multi for me and the kids. Easy enuf for kids to work out first steps. Took a few attempts to find the final . Well devised.
Well hidden. A few false starts and doubt about the coordinates but on reading details again I knew I had to be close. Perseverance paid off eventually. Should have found sooner had I not been head in computer doing a series of puzzles!!! Thanks for the well constructed cache.
Loved these park ones...trench coat on and dark glasses and lurking in the shadows counting trees and things...had to be quick before the police came great camo and well constructed cache thanks TNXpro
Took the kids out this morning. This puzzle was so simple to solve, at GZ in no time. Kids off playing with sticks so they were no help. Looked up and down, found a couple things and thought yes, but no! Re-read some previous posts hoping for a hint. Was about to give up for the morning when something moved, bingo, had the cache in hand. Was so happy to be able to sign that log. TFTC
I found this Geocache along with HKCB, 11hpg11 and Kyb3r, a bunch of overachieving Geocachers from Hamilton. We signed the logs 1HIK to save on log space. This was our fourth sojourn or ‘mission’ as we like to refer to these trips, to the Tauranga area and even though we had limited time due to family commitments in the evening we still managed to find more the fifty caches and be home before dinner. Credit needs to go to HKCB who came up with the plan and 11hpg11 for driving. As always we had a great time. A big thanks to all the cache owners who placed and maintain the Geocaches we found today.
This is a great cache. The multi is logical and straight forward, but what makes it special is the final. I knew where it had to be, something look not quite right but even when I had my hand on it I still wasn't sure. Luckily I had seen something similar on Pinterest and boom there it was. Gets a fav from me.

Another trip to Tauranga/Papamoa area with a group of Hamilton cachers. Today we planned to clean out a bit more of the area, just one more we keep saying, but new caches keep coming out all the time. Today our team consisted of HKCB, Iammrwalker, Kyb3r and myself. The logs were either signed with our names or HIK1/1HIK to save room. Today I was designated driver and that came along with a new set of challenges but we survived and didn't make too many wrong turns so all is good. A nice early start, left Hamilton at 4.30am so we could be over in time for a night cache plus plenty of other caches before a few of us had to be home for the Hot Air Balloon Night Glow event.
Very cool multi, enjoyed exploring the area. A nice little spot and a clever final. Thanks for bringing us here

Hitting the trails with the 1HIK crew (11hpg11, HKCB, iammrwalker and myself) on a mission to help them clear Tauranga caches.
I do love these well executed multis. Favouriting, not much else to say! Thanks for bringing us here.

6pm - Wooh Hooh #5,000. I went off counting bars, swings etc and Gap counting trees (which he really didn't need to do) Sorted out the Co Ords and straight to the cache with a playful dog on our heels. This is our 5,000th cache so it was a Hi Five and a kiss of congradulations, So this cache gets a Fav from us, just because. SLTFTC
#11914. Just as well we were the only ones in the park; gathering the required info would have been tricky with anyone else there. Once we had the coords, it took a little while for the GPS to settle, but once we were in the right place something "interesting" was soon spotted. Another nicely engineered cache. TFTC.
All was quiet in the park this morning, which was good as we could get on with the business to hand - counting various objects in the park. We did baulk at counting the objects needed for Z and used the check sum to calculate it. A short walk later, and we were at GZ. Overshot initially, then on backtracking, had a hunt around. After examining a couple of decoy objects, I noticed something and on closer inspection, we found the cache. Another nicely engineered cache.
Would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when this cache was placed. TFTC.

this was our second time to this cache
we rechecked our answers and the GPS took us back to the same area as before
determined this time to find it - we checked everything. Re read the logs - and then looking at some of the things alittle different - we had in our hands !!!!

Solving the puzzle part was quick and enjoyable, although the answer for Z was a bit trickier. Once we found ground zero however, the real hard part began! After sticking our hands in under ledges, moving dead grass and scratching our heads repeatedly I realized I had my hand on it. I left the cache in its and smiled as I let Momac continue scratching her head for a while.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
I must say we were quite stumped for a little while after finding the coordinates but we couldn't just give up, that would be silly. So we kept on searching and finally found it. Very clever hide. TNXPro is my favorite geocaching hider so far. Loving his creativity!
Heading over to Tauranga once again to catch up with friends along with making a very short appearance at the local event (thanks TNXPro). Thanks for putting this on as otherwise I think Mrs Dragon had plans for jobs around the house so this was a welcome releif
Grabbed this one prior to the start of the event and pleased to get it. Just so you know there were a number of non paying lodges making their home at the final so had to extract the cache without their presence.
Had spoken to the CO about the very cache type that was published a couple of hours later, so will have to come back for that
thanks for the event, thanks for the fun

Very epic hiding spot. Moved it then got a hella fright and ran! Leaving the mrs to retrieve cache while I watched at a distance. Awesome awesome.
ALOT of creepy crawliez!!! Cool little multi to be done at night time though but with the 3 of us we FOUND GZ! ! Nice multi to start off with
I had to visit Welcome Bay to run an errand and kept the kids sweet by saying we could go geocaching. Saw this on the map nearby and the word park too, couldn't be more perfect. Had fun with my side kick counting the various apparatus. He did start to run round counting the trees but lost interest after 7! so admittedly I used checksum to figure out the last required number. Side kick navigated us to GZ, nothing stood out. Side kick started climbing, as 4 yr olds do, and something shifted slightly, bingo! Great hide, tftc!!

After going over to waihi and leaving my gps at home and phone playing up over there needed to get my cache of the day when back home. So we shot over to one of the closest unfound ones and also took leo for a play in the park. Having hardly done any multis and all sometimes get put off them but wish more were like this one. Really enjoyed doing the field puzzle then walking over towards the numbers I had got. Upon getting over there had a awesome designed cache in hand the first place i looked really well put together and enjoyed this a lot earns a fav point from me cheers tnx
After a quicker than anticipated visit to a cache nearby, this multi looked like a pleasant way to finish our family caching trip. MiniJ and MidiK were quick to count and do some maths - we left the trees and decided to back ourselves with the checksum.......... and then realised that "10" couldn't be one of the digits, as I'd missed some maths! A quick re-add and the spot looked likely............ but nothing of value turned up. We explored a little further....... discussed where our counting may have been wrong, and were nearly going to resort to counting trees, but returned to our initial spot for another look for something out of place. Bingo! Thanks heaps, love finding quality caches like this one, MiniJ has given it a favourite for the very cool hide.
Out and about enjoying the sunshine while finding a few specific caches towards a challenge we are working on. We gathered the required info then headed to GZ to be surprised by a crafty little hide. Thanks for the fun TFTC.
It was pretty cold and still frosted over when I came to get this one this morning.
Quickly started counting swings and ladders and seats and started to count the trees but thought I don't even have to. Got the coords and headed back the way I came from.
Found something interesting, extracted it but this wasn't the cache. Inspected a few more items before coming up with the goods.
Very fun multi and I'm looking forward to having my brother and his kids come over from Australia so I can show them all these cool multis and puzzles around.
TFTC TNXPro, gets a fav point.

Finally decided to get out to welcome bay to find the missing two that we haven't yet found.
This took some puzzling out. Especially the trees. Was that a tree or was it a shrub?
Figured out the finally and had re read the title and description. In short order located this wonderfully crafted cache hiding place.
Nice.

Having only found 17 caches so far this year our aim was to at least double that on our first decent cache run in a long time.
Yippee, with this find we have double our year to date finds in one morning.......
Finding the cache was almost a DNF...... We had no issues with the puzzle aspect of the cache, except maybe the number of trees one but the checksum sorted that out........ then it was the cache find part.......
in the end we went back through the puzzle again, maybe we had missed or added a + or - where we shouldn't have.... nope, back to the same spot......... then as we were about to flag it as "just another #^#%^ multi" Mr Geckoh spotted something slightly amiss...... Very well executed hide!!
Mrs Geckoh did later point out another hint that would have been helpful in the find....
Multi find #495, getting close to the 500th.......

Quiet a clever multi once we had worked out the co-ordinates, this took us a little while to find. Great hide TFTC
Well that was hard lol, was also about to give up but found it, that was insane lol good work creator!
Wow! This is our first multi and we love it! Had a few laughs. We jumped in the car and started driving while mr j enteted the coords. Quickly found an alleyway entrance to our destination and cracked up when we found out where we were. Had trouble locating cache as we weren't sure what we were looking for but as we were about to give up mr j came across the little treasure. Sneaky hide. Look forward to more multis in the future. Tftc
Ok so like most other cachers on here it was Z that was the tricky part... my partner and I both counted separately and came up with the same number, but still it seems we both miscounted as our checksum was out... but only by 1. We gave it a go anyway and still ended up where we needed to be... thought we had found it but then figured we hadn't... but then it turned out we had, we just had to look at it right. TFTC
We had a big day yesterday doing some of the HRT caches, but just felt like finding another today, and Mr nzkites chose this one. Three of us worked together to sort out the maths and got it right first go. A few muggles in the distance but managed to retrieve and replace the cache unseen. A well-crafted sneaky hide. Thanks TNXPro! A fav from us.
