Looks like there have been changes in the area - time to open the area up for someone else
GZ has changed with new sign. Ground from cabbage tree to access road scraped level. Checked fence posts which mostly are behind electric fence.
Quick stop here. Good flow on the river near and great looking angling spots. TFTC.
Travelling the Mataura to Wyndham highway this afternoon, we stopped to pick up this cache. Yes, the reason for the cache name became obvious - and the cache was found. Thanks.
Stopped at the corner to grab the cache before going to the river to look at some big fish. Founds the cache and SL. Definitely needed the 4wd today, road is a bit rough. TFTC
We started geocaching on 01 January 2016 and we are on a trip, going back where it all started, planning on 500 caches for the year.

Found on our way down South to Bluff for the weekend. A quick detour once at Mataura and an easy find. TFTC

Best hide found all day, cache in good cond, nice'n'dry. Dropped off the mini, he needs to finally start his journey north, albeit on the wrong side of the river from highway no.1 TFTC

Sadly, our last day in Southland, but what a day it was. Bright sunny clear skies and sun, sun and more sun.
Making a few finds in and around before we have to hit the big tin budgie for the screaming ride back to the capital.
Taking the back roads. This one a recent hide. Nice. We scored the bronze!
This was a straightforward find, cache in order, and log signed; then safely re-hidden, just as found.
