A nice quick find after a group of local young muggles left on their trail bikes. Enjoying two weeks on Norfolk Island. Too wild this side for the current small cruiser to dock here having to dock in Kingston instead Beautiful place, thank you endeavour3 for placing this game piece here, showcasing this lovely area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Found with Geospouse after completing one of the many tours of the island. An easy find with the greatest challenge being to avoid being spotted by some local kids parked nearby. More great scenery. Tftc
#7535- Not the prettiest part of the island but certainly of significance historically. Another easy find. Thanks
We spent a fun and productive week geocaching on Norfolk Island, as well as seeing the spectacular views. We also did several tours and other activities on offer, which highlighted different aspects of the island life and history. Thanks for this cache.
Hey after the last cliff edge walk at Cockpit this cache was child's play.Good view of the old Whaling Station site and interesting history, as always and a nice spot to sit and rest before and after the walk to the next one.TFTC # 6045

A quick easy find near this historic site before we set off on the coastal goat track. Thanks endeavour3.
#14431 12:00After the beautiful Cockpit Waterfall our group of geocachers drove to the Cascade Whaling Station. A quick find was made and names added to the log sheet. No ships today bringing supplies to the island. From here we started our walk to the next cache.TFTC endeavour3.
Parked the cars here to make an assault on the Cascade cache and this was an easy grab on the way.
#7591 NI Day 4With no organised events until late this afternoon, we headed out after breakfast to focus on the north eastern part of the island. Came past here a few days ago on our half day Island tour. Quick grab here before heading out to Cascade.TFTC endeavour3
Glad that some of the caches are quick and easy to find. It allows us to have a rest between the more challenging ones. ?? TFTC endeavour3

What an interesting spot ! The description wouldnt load so Ill have to read up about it later. We saw the ingenious way of launching boats while we were here. TFTC
After a late morning tea, I headed out to the east coast right as the heavens opened. The first real rain I've seen on the island. I made my way to GZ and got quite wet. The views were a little wild and windy.
Day 2 of my Norfolk Island adventure. I can understand why people want to live here . Its a little bit of paradise. Lucky Im not scared of cows. Ive seen plenty wandering around Some logs signed as N2OThis is my 12049find.Thankyou endeavour3 for placing and maintaining this cache
Found earlier this afternoon while exploring the Cascade area. Interesting to overlook the pier and old whaling station. The cutback cliff is also fascinating! TFTC
Trying to head to this area two days ago, but the roads were closed due to unloading some cargo from a ship.Today we got here, and could see another side (!) of the island.
Our cruise ship, the Noordam, anchored off of Cascade and we tendered in. My wife and I hiked up to your national park to explore the trails. On the way we stopped and picked up this cache. Absolutely beautiful location! Thank you!
I came to Norfolk on a huge 108000 tonne beast called a cruise ship which quickly overwhelmed the island population. Upon arriving in the main town, and a quick coffee it was time to cache. We went for a walk to Kington to see the sights down by the ocean, and found caches along the way. Then after a friendly local drove us back to town, there were more caches near the tender port, cascade. Loved Norfolk, bon voyage. This cache had awesome views, and a quick find. Tftc
Over with IolantheK from Brisbane celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary [^]Todays cache collection is brought to you from the east side!!The hide was one of the usual suspects, but with a great view The cache in good condition [^]We watched as the crane at the dock was used to lift and lower the local charter boat into the water. Very impressed as it held the boat at the top of the dock as the passengers boarded and then lowered everything into the water TFTC endeavour3
T-Tech and I are visiting Norfolk Island for our 40th anniversary. We arrived from Brisbane and are staying for 2 weeks at Endeavour Lodge, and plan to get some R&R, see all of the sites, learn the history, and gather every cache here so we can claim the Se Dun Challenge Today's plan is to visit the Cascade area. Loads of parking here, and a great coastal view. We made a quick find then ambled along the path to our next cache. Along the way we added to our CITO-ing with quite a few bits of rubbish, even a pair of socks! Afterwards we went down to the wharf and watched a charter boat get lifted into the water, much to T-Tech's delight. TFTC, endeavour3.
Found with the Canberra group on the 5th day of our Norfolk Island geocaching adventure. Day dawned wet but clear day now though still windy. Log signed as Dem CBR. Tftc
# 8977 Norfolk Day 4, team "Dem CBR" myself, iPlod65, Joolay, barb2e and contesta had another fantastic day of caching and exploration. Another day of hard climbs starting with a trip to Bird Rock. It's a steep walk down there and even harder back up. The rewards were there withe great views and some whales to watch. Then we headed over to Cascade Bay to grab the caches over there. It's a rough path to cascades along the cliffs but well worth the trip. Last one for the day. Glad to find this one at last.Logs signed collectively "Dem CBR", which in local parlance is "them from Canberra".Thanks endeavour3 for the Traditional Cache

Wow! We found it while watching tourists board the P&O Cruise Ship - Pacific Explorer.
Yay! First gc on NI for me. Nicely tucked away in an easily accessible place, no scrambling required.
During July my wife and I took a break from Melbourne and spent a wonderful week on the Island - the first time for me (but hopefully not the last) and the second for her. Such a delightful place! I took my GPSr, with the traditionals downloaded (I don't really make the time to do puzzles or multis) and figured I would find a few as we went around the place. I never had any intention of finding all 41 of them, but somewhere around day 5 I realised it was actually feasible.
In the end it was a close call - one quite tough-to-get-to cache (Bird Island) I had to visit twice after not reading the description before my first visit and discovering it is really a multi and then stuffing up the calculations so I had an almost blind search for the cache; another (St Barnabas) was out of its hidey hole so took three visits before I found it among some fallen leaves nearby). But I got there and managed to claim them all.
In the interests of saving the limited data on my phone, I only look placeholder drafts during the week and am completing them back home, a month later. So with all due apologies, they are going to be pretty generic for the most part. But I will add comments about those that I particularly remember. No matter how detailed the final logs, I want to say a big thanks to those who have placed the caches and those who continue to maintain them. I had great fun finding them and they really helped make sure I saw as much of the Island as possible. So - a big and sincere TFTC

A lovely little meander around here, easily finding the cache. There was a steady stream of locals, deprived of sugar and ice cream, coming to have a look at the long-awaited cargo ship waiting for the chance to unload.

A quick park and grab on our 3rd attempt at this one due to the high activity on boat day. Today we also saw how they moved the large tenders. Tftc
Mrs. Gunnie and I spotted this area from the nearby lookout so we figured it was worth a quick drive to have a closer look around. A nice spot that was popular this afternoon.
I grabbed the cache and added my name to the log, then we continued down the road a little more. How did they get those boats there, what are they doing there and what are they used for... All the questions we had.
Cheers endeavour3.

Dropping off a Trackable that I picked up in Australia due my Mega travels over Easter
Found on our day of exploring NI via geocaching. Thank you for bringing us here and TFTC
Found with Geogeneve and ktbrwn and left a trackable. Very interesting place! TFTC
Decided to explore another side of the island today and we weren't disappointed with the view. Just_Jess! made the quick find here and we left a unicorn pencil and something for future visitors. TFTC
Mums day out today. We’ve left the kids at home to complete the difficult terrain caches at cascades. Thanks for the nice easy find.
On an adventure with Biggles303, we’d been to the nearby waterfall, but I was too nervous to continue out to find the cache there. But this one was another park & grab… that said, the cache was in very deep, so I did have some initial concerns that it was missing. Out visit was well timed as there was also a barge that had recently arrived and was unloading goods for NI, so we spent some time watching the process, plus some scuba divers returning from an outing. TFTC.
Found today while watching the lighters (modern versions) unloading the barge from last night's ship.

Day 3 on the Island and still fighting the elements. A heavy fog abounds and the ground is ultra slippery.
We managed 18 caches and a few stages oh the Lookouts Adventure Lab caches.
