Heading north from Brisbane with a full load on, the wife Geomum007, riding shotgun. Decided to get in a little paid geocaching. The perks of a linehaul trucker. TFTC
In Maryborough for an event today, so I thought I would claim a few more smiles. This was a quick and easy find today. TFTC
Enjoy the variety of caches collected today. After a little search log signed and placed where found. TFTC
We parked off 3 Mile Road, and walked over to this trees island cluster. The coordinates were dead on, but we did do the long round-about way through the trees cluster first. A nice-sized container for this location, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [youngoldfella](https://coord.info/PR1TC79) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) and I commenced the drive north with a few [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) targeted D-T geocaches in the Sunshine Hinterland, so we stopped in Woombye and Nambour, before continuing our trip north. I had a targeted Eumundi geocache to find (as it was a non-market day today), and we then spent a couple of hours visiting the *Evil* series nearby to Pomona. After having a bakery lunch in Gympie, we continued north, stopped in Tiaro, and then progressively stopped more as we neared Maryborough. We spent a few hours finding a few geocaches in the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series, and then took a loop around Police Paddock Conservation Park. As the light faded, we caught up with [Liz and Bruce](https://coord.info/PR68BB).
Quick cache find here. Thanks for your cache. Love your work.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. David Wazza provided a sturdy vehicle and we traveled in style. We had good weather. Not to hot. Not to rainy. Lovely one day and perfect the next. The caches were found in a blur of Which Is Next and Where Are We Going Now. Some caches were harder to find than others. Some caches we could see from the car. Regardless all caches were found in the last place we looked.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz . Thanks youngoldfella
Always grateful for a Youngoldfella clue. True to his word that was exactly where the cache was.
Day 4 & 5 in Maryborough. We thought we would continue to look around town and spend our time caching here. It didn't quite work out as we thought as there were a number of caches in parks and reserves and we ventured wider as well. A good variety of caches and hides all in generally good condition. We had mixed results on a number of tree fishing attempts. Some we just couldn't spot, others we couldn't reach with our fishing pole. Will have to look at some further modifications when we get home! We did manage to get a couple though!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

In the area with Selva Girls to do the JBF series and anything else that got in the way and this was one of them. We managed to find all that we attempted today and enjoyed the quiet country roads. Plenty of nice areas to stop and enjoy a break while having some fun.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

This cache was quickly located and the log signed. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Having been car napped from Brisbane, I was held captive by 3 mad cachers heading to Maryborough. Every stop we all had to get out and search for said caches. I've heard less door closing in massage parlours, so I've been told. Glad this was a quick stop, thanks youngoldfella for another excuse for this mob to pull the car over.
Team JAGT (or some other acronym of our initials) was out today gathering caches. This helped fill a challenge for one of our crew. TFTC!
Picking up a few odds and sods here whilst trying to fill a challenge for one of the team.
Came with a torch because I needed it for an LGA challenge. Coming back from THE MEGA

Day four of our visit to beautiful Maryborough and continuing to work our way through finding all the local and a few outer suburb caches. It was extremely overcast for the majority of the day but the compass never faulted and led us to every GZ without any hassles.
The beaut hint made for a quick find for us here today, nice hide CO.

The TB wants to get to Cairns and we were going to leave it in the Rockhampton area. Unfortunately, we are not going to get that far north. Please the next finder can you keep this TB going.

Found it. Took a cute plastic ruler. Left a plastic medal prize for the next champ to find this neat cache. Stamped log and replaced cache.
Tftc youngoldfella & Liz and Bruce, made a quick find here this morning. SL. thanks
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
Easy one. Might have 5o rethink the canister it's in as all the contents were damp from rain :/
Along this country toad we found this cache. The log was quite damp but signable. We secured the lid a bit better than how we found it. TFTC
A short detour down this road and the cache was located quickly Well pleased with the caches in and around Maryborough. A passing car on the highway gave me a beep, must be local cachers

This one will survive and can be used till I can get there in a few weeks to replace it. If someone else has a spare log book could they assist me in the mean time please. Many thanks in anticipation.
My caching buddy is Oddiewan ️
Having a fine weekend up in Maryborough. The weather could not be more perfect. There are so many caches here to be found. Thank you for hiding the cache to allow us to enjoy this lovely region.

TFTC. We were heading to Lia and Bruce’s event and running early on there drive from Bundaberg we detoured to find a couple of caches before Event Time. A quick find. It seems we have been doing a lot of youngoldfella caches lately.
The original logbook was soggy but a fresh logbook was present. While Oddiewan stamped us into the fresh logbook, I worked to dry out the original logbook and turned the bag inside out and dried it on my pants so it all would have a chance to dry out a bit. Next finder would be kind to flip the baggie right way round and close it properly. Noce to find a regular in the wild TFTc
Out and about while visiting L&B. Nice easy find
Logs a a bit damp. Semik tried to dry them for a bit. Could do with some more time in the sun.

Hi there youngoldfella. This morning was reserved for visiting the Thursday markets in Maryborough with some caching afterwards. This cache was a quick find after parking nearby and the container and the log are dry and quite useable. SL, TN, LN. Thanks to youngoldfella for this cache - our find #6752.
Found this cache in a simple logical spot. Nice to see a spare logbook, but sadly both were damp, although we could still write our log.
cheers and TFTC youngoldfella

Kilkivan Cache-up stay Day 3:
Another early start, leaving Kilkivan and heading up through Gundiah and Tiaro before a few hours in Maryborough to find some caches and attend a New Year's event, then heading home to Brissie.
A quick-ish find here, once I put my cache glasses on! Oh dear, a bit soggy inside I'm afraid, dried it out best as I could.

Found on Monday 31 Dec. 2018 at08:13 making #6,044.

I can not get there till the end of January to replace the log book and check on the container. A previous finder has kindly contacted me and will go out to the GZ and replace the log book for me. Many thanks for this.
Found at 12:39 PM GAFF1.
What an interesting spot to place a cache! So much going on - tall grass to push through; some stumps and logs strewn around; a massive number of cars zooming past just 20 metres away. We were struggling to work out what all of that had to do with L&B
A good sized cache container that was appreciated.
Thanks youngoldfella.
Feedback: Even though I don't care much about them, there was no TB in that container - who would have thought that that could happen [:o)]

Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.
Quick find on the way through. Something, something, Liz & Bruce!

This afternoon was a time of just quietly caching around Maryborough and putting some more smileys on our caching map. We wanted to pick up some more of the Liz and Bruce tribute caches in the area.
The log of each cache found was duly signed and replaced before we left. This one was a nice easy find and our thanks go to youngoldfella for this cache placement.

With the rest of the regular Bromanceketeer geocaching posse either back at work, interstate or oversees and my family heading down the coast for a few days, I decided to head north on a solo geocaching mission targeting some caches around Rainbow Beach and some other unloved caches along the way. Having completed the Rainbow Beach to-do list, with a short stop over in Maryborough, I then made my way north to Hervey Bay where I spent the night sleeping in the car. With a new day, there were more caches to find heading further north towards the outskirts of Bundaberg.
With the main targets for the trip ticked off it was time to turn towards home, and the long drive back to Brisbane. Time though for an extra couple of caches on the way back, including this one.
No problems locating the container and after signing the logbook, dropped off a trackable for the next visitor. TFTC

Find number **305** with this one being find **2** of **15** looked for with only **2** not found - pretty stoked with that.
Had to drop the kids back to their mums house today so made the drive from Hervey Bay back down to Beaudesert. Luckily had no time restraints on the way home so why not make the most of it and cache along the highway. Somehow turned a 5 hour trip into a 7 hour trip but hey, it was worth it right?
Last time I was up this way this was all under construction. Such a delight to be able to drive through here now and it's all completed. This one was a real easy find, cache was quickly found and signed before being replaced. It's harder to search of a night time but a lot easier to be discrete when no one can see you
Thanks for the cache youngoldfella. Great location for one.
