Find #795
A beautiful afternoon to be caching, 23 degrees and sunny, just a tad windy.... hitting a few easy ones around Maitland today with the kids. It's not often we seek out micros, unless of course we are 1 find off a Project-GC badge award! We navigated around to a good parking spot (Pitcairn St), and got our way to GZ. Nothing was standing out, and the hint wasn't helping, so got the low-down from a previous log, and spotted the cache. The log is soaked and perished, and not signable (see pics). Thanks Badmans....

Found with my Dad and little brother, 5 finds and 1 DNF today around Maitland... TFTC!
Quickest nano we've found. It was a nice walk across the bridge and kids enjoyed the view from up high. TFTC.
Forgot to mention the log is now completely full as we signed the last spot so it will need a new one.
Nice easy find this time -no idea how we missed it the first time. Thanks for this challenge lol. And thanks for the cache - found with kingfisher_au and team lewin
Back again for another shot at this one. Some council muggles were near the bridge loading dirt and gravel inot a truck for nearby rodworks. We parked a few metres past the end of the bridge to be out of their way.
Still couldn't find it. I think now after checking back through some pics we may get it next time. Thanks Badman Family

Had a good look for this one today, either really well hidden or missing, maybe cache owner could confirm it is still there.
been meaning to do this for sometime, like every time we drive under the bridge
needed a cache for New Years day but lady Luck wasn't on our side today
had a really good look about 30 mins gave up and went north

My sister and I, from Canada, are visiting my son in Metford and have managed to find a couple of caches. This is our 2nd cache in Australia. We searched for a while before tracking down this very small cache. Thanks for the hunt Badman family.
Tftc! Tricky one but photos helped pinpoint its location as coordinates kept jumping
Quick find. Only a couple of dog walkers passing by. Arnold Barrington Bear dropped by for a look at the traffic passing underneath. TFTC #145.

For the record the song in my head - "Collective Soul - The World I Know"
I came up to Maitland today to go the caravan and camping show. After getting bogged in the van twice within the past 12 months and both times being in situations where I was far from help and without reception I figured it was time to find something that could help me out. I do the majority of my caching alone so if I get bogged it's not as though I've got anyone who can help me out, especially out in the middle of a national park... I found a cool product called "Bog Out" which seemed to suit my needs and as luck would have it the guy selling the things had a stall at the show. So I decided to come up to ask him some questions and hopefully purchase one (which I did). It's always a nice sweetener also when you know you can grab some caches from a new area!!
This was my second find of the day which I initially was going to not attempt but after noticing there were a few geocaches in this section I couldn't leave it behind... I parked in a sidestreet and headed over to the bridge to begin my search. I was pretty certain what I was looking for but it was just a matter of locating the pesky little thing. My GPS was jumping around a bit and as I extended my searching area without any luck I decided to use the iphone instead (I was trying to save my battery). A quick look in satellite view showed me where I should concentrate on and I made the find soon after that. I grabbed the cache and started signing my name in the log. Just as I was doing that and thinking about how lucky I was that there weren't any muggles around at the time I heard a voice to my right. A young man was walking his dog nearby and the dog had stopped to look at me (no doubt wondering what the hell I was doing). The guy called his dog to follow him. I looked up and looked at the dog who was big and didn't have a lead and was just in the process of beginning to ark up by barking and no doubt going nuts when the owner called him again and the dog took another look at me and decided it wasn't worth it... Thankfully I was only spotted putting the log back into the container and wasn't seen making the find. I waited a little while then replaced the cache back into poisition..
TFTC cheers

Parked on struggle street and used the bike path. A quick find. GPS coords were spot on. Only saw 2 muggles the whole time I was here and they approached the area after I was done. TNLN TFTC
Caching in the area today on holidays from Geelong. Found the best way to access this one and then preceded to walk to GZ. Found easily.
Thanks Badman family for showing us the two bridges.
Thanks Badman family for showing us the two bridges.
Took a little bit longer then expected but got there in the end. Starting to hard nanos
Whilst out trying to inspect a house that I was interested in purchasing, I saw that I was near this bridge, so I strolled over to That Bridge, and made the find after a short, low search. TNLNSL TFTC
After one failed attempt with the fam, went back and found it with one big red headed kid in tow! (TACK123) Sneaky sneaky, Love it!!

This took a while to find. Garmin was confused with all the steel. Found by Geoian. TFTC
This time the gard spider was a red back, Once removed the cache was retrieved signed and replaced.
Spent a while looking for this. Difficult to get a good gz, with all that steel around. Geowife had nearly given up I think, but I started re searching and extending and finally found it. Typically where it should have been. Isn't it funny, how urban caches can make you do things that make you look suspicious. Nano's on bridges. ???? TFTC 784 Total
This one was too good for us today. It was sarting to get a bit hot and we were very tired as we were both getting over being very butchers for the last week. Will have to come back another day.
The littlest Rat took the dog and I for walk, so we decided to grab a cache along the way.
After climbing all over the place, we finally tracked down this nano in the last place we looked (after all, once you find it, why look any more?).
Signed the log in the 8th place, and headed back home under the threat of rain.
Thanks for the cache.

Quick cache check while out walking, cache is still in place and ready to be found. Good luck cachers.
After a stop and DNF at a different bridge, we came here. Oh no! Another nano! but somehow I managed to find it very quickly. Good cause we had important business to attend to (and the wife in the car did not want to stop again)!
Thanks for the cache on the bridge I have never been on before!

A nice quick find after work, we headed into town grab some stray caches before the sun went down. TFTC
Sneaky....
This is the third cache to be on this bridge, the previous one being mine.
There were no muggles around so i was able to have a good look but it still took me a while to find the sneaky little bugger.
Couldn't get a lock on Gz as i was using the compass on my samsung galaxy ace phone which was all over the place.
I was just lucky that i was searching in one spot when i looked across and spotted the cache.

TFTC!! When the email came through, Mrs Mayers who was only 1km away, was too sick to go. Once the geo husband got home we went for a drive to grab this one. Didn't take too long to find but the geo husband did cut himself on some glass. It was a great spot & nice & quiet at night =)
Tftc!!
Another nice hide Badman family
Overlooked this one completely. Sprinted to get my first ftf but no luck today!
Thanks

**FTF** at 6.39pm
We were at home watching a movie when the notification came through on the phone and because Mrs C was cooking dinner Mr C rushed out the door and made a beeline for GZ. We had found the previous cache here, but this one is a little bit safer as the last one was under the bridge. I had to wait for some walking and running muggles but I was able to make a quick find. The obligatory FTF jig was done and the passing cars below would have thought something strange was going on. Hahaha. I signed and replaced the log expecting another cacher to arrive but no one came so I jumped back in the Geolux, (which was parked right next to the bridge), and went back home for dinner.

Was still on the M1 on the way home when the notification came through for this one so was 30mins before I arrived for a look. After waiting for the pushbike rider the cache was found only to find I missed Chippyroo by a few minutes.
Thanks to Badman family for this cache.
