There has been work in the area, so we have decided it is no longer suitable for a hide. It has been replaced fairly close by.
Found with newly introduced Rochaz01 to the wondrerful world of Geocaching. Awesome area lived 500m up road for 25 yrs I had so much fun with this creek during my childhood years. Tftc
Rochaz01 and Biartch79 think we found the cache placed around area with another sheet of paper in it if it is this I'll log once CO has confirmed. TFTC
We think this cache has been muggled. There was an open cylinder on the ground with nothing inside. I took a pic of container if owner wants to double check with me.
Think we had found this - with Biartch79. If it was, it had been muggled. Rehid in suitable place.
TFTC! a quick find by my first time sis! Think the plant you are referring to is a silver fern, not a ponga?
GPS was jumping about a bit. But a combination of hint and GPS gave me a logical place to look. Unfortunately a local gardener had used this spot to dump some rose bush cuttings with quite sharp thorns... Oh well... Well try again another day.
This was to have been out last cache of the day - sadly our lucky streak ran out with this one. Suspect we may have been too focused on the wrong area ... but we will return and give this another go .
Out and about on the Sth side of down. Snuck into this wee bush, for a smiley. . Thanks for the placement, SnP.
Heading out to TA to catch up with a mate, so took the not so direct route out there so I could get a find for the day. Was a little troubled when I neared GZ at a bit of a search might be required, but was lucky that the find was nice and simple. Thanks for the placement, I think I must of just about got all of these by now.
This one is close to our home, but we have not had much caching time recently so it has waited.
Found pretty quickly after making a bit hard at first, then found the container has swaps only - no log or pencil - rather strange.
Our cache repair kit was nearby in our car, so we added a new log book and pencil, and returned to its spot.

Took the wrong route and had to retrack and then found the slightly exposed cache. Tried to recover better. Thanks very much steedandpeel
Out and about for a days caching in Hamilton with Trout-fly enabled us to find 50+ finds. TFTC
Spent the day with Team Welsh and cruised around looking for caches to find. We didnt have a plan, and we were trying to avoid u-turns, but we still found a heap of caches. Thanks.
No Gap today (Auckland)... How will we manage? I have my nephews (10 and 6) along for company. It's going to be a 'stay close to the car' day, especially with the weather being so changeable...
Typically, the iPhone wanted us to climb the hill... But reason prevailed and we skirted around the hillside to ground zone. It appeared that we were still a few metres out when the little nephew found the cache. Thanks for another serving of soup and TFTC.

Found once the gps had settled, had to tread carefully as there were a couple of muggles gardening up the hill.
Thought at first the was no log book so found a scrap of paper then notice the little log in the cache.

Up with the birds this morning coz muggle hubby had a very early start &, on a bit of a whim, decided to head out for some of the caches that me & geo-teen had planned to collect over the weekend but sadly we ran out of time. This cache has been on my to-do list for so long &, having had some feedback about needing to check some of my own placements, thought I'd make a minor detour while I was out & about in the area doing cache maintenance. Great hint & another good cache, thanks steedandpeel.
Found caching with alpenmilch80 on day #3 of a 3 day road trip to the Taranaki.
Took a bit of searching but we got there in the end.
Thanks!

My second day on a cache run to Taranaki together with Slieschke. Today the goal was to explore the Forgotten World Highway and to make our way back to Auckland. We decided to take a longer break in Hamilton to help celebrating its 150th birthday with fireworks and a Time Warp. It was so cold I would have loved a real Soup. TFTC
Today's dot day called for something nice and easy as I had a huge day tramping the day before. Nice and quick find for me today thankfully. Worried that I didn't have my tweezers but managed to get the log out.
Today was the day to do some housework around the city and clear out a number of caches that have popped up while I was away. Its nice coming back to a number of caches rather than picking them off one by one.
I was early enough in the morning that muggles were not the problem here so had it soon located without trouble. Plenty of cars parked along the road but no-one paying attention to me
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache
Another astounding (above average) alphabet attempted and accessed. We were in the area after unsuccessfully attempting the Resthills multi and grabbed this cache to keep our current streak alive. Unusually we discovered the log under the container rather than in it.
This one had me looking for quite a while. Using the smartphone app. Finally decided to go out in the open more and try. Bingo got it finally
Missed this one the day it was published so am using it as part of my 30 finds within a week of publish. Feels good to be out caching again and having a little challenge to boot. Thanks for all the recent hides they are coming in very handy
As usual I decided that I should go geocaching before work, so I was having a look for the next logical nearby daytime caches and was pleasantly surprised to see this new one. Out on the bicycle into a headwind I went and soon had the cache in hand. I've seen either this container or one like it somewhere before...

After a month or two of a bit of a serious caching hiatus, I decided to ease myself into some caching today. Found two, went to Mahoe Park to find some more but got dive bombed by a rascally magpie. I went home feeling dejected.... Sat down to read my emails and I got a new cache email two minutes earlier. Hmm. Let's go! Gives me a good excuse to take my new geomobile for a drive.
Who am I kidding. I didn't need an excuse for that! Thanks steedandpeel. The cache was well hidden but obvious at the same time
