Logs
Collecting solved puzzles and completed challenges on the peninsula. Down for the mega. Please excuse the generic log. Thanks for placing each and every on of your caches, including those I can't solve or can't find.Did the walk to the end of this track. Thought about going further but was getting a bot vold and had no more layers.
TFTC, we found it without any problem, while enjoying our walk back up the hill from boulder Beach.
Very difficult series made much harder by all the vegetation and dreek weather.
Nice walk though.

A Saturday afternoon off work. Caching with Frame Family was top of the list of things to do. Found a couple of the caches on this track a few years ago. The track was muddy then so we turned back. Today the track was in a pretty good condition.
Signal here was not great and we had forgotten to save the cache to a list so happy to find this cache.

Out with Kerynz to collect the rest of the caches on this track that we had started a while back. Had to give up that time because it was too muddy. Still a bit muddy in places today but passable. Easy find here. TFTC.
On a three week trip to the lower South Island with tmann421 hunting caches.
Enjoyed the trip around and the challenge of the finds.

Another good cache found on a nice day going from cache to cache with woolwood9.
We searched for a while but soon had the container located. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
*Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit*
Eventually found away from hint, replaced soaked log and returned to closest hint object to where we found it.

Another one snagged and tagged along Paradise Track. Cheers
Saturday 13 November. Balclutha - Dunedin
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Not the best cache walk. After 10 minutes of searching and digging around a few posts we gave up.
Lovely walk down paradise road, torture walking back up in the heat! This took ages but an obvious place once found
Started this track a few years ago doing one a day for my dot days but I got a bit tired going up and down the track so found others to do. But getting close to the end of the year and not quite at 3000 I thought today is the day to get the last few on the track. Was an easy find on the way down the track. TFTC
We made a part of this track today and found this one as the first.
TFTC and greetings from Germany.

Heading down to dunnas for the weekend to "cache up" with KJR
Out on a Saturday mission on a dunnas stunner
After leaving the beach K returned to the truck the way we came while I headed up paradise track to the road .
With no signal I had no access to the hint or logs .looked in obvious place but nothing expanded my search and still nothing decided to carry on and return once I got signal (not until the road ) just as K pulled up .
Back down we go armed with the hint exactly where I had looked turns out it had migrated into the bushes a bit , glad to get the find tftc

Lost my wi-fi at this point so without the hints that I rely on way too much... picked a spot that looked like a cachey spot.. lucky first guess!
Located the hint item OK but had to reach deep to locate the treasure, Cache all good. TFTC
A nice day caching in the Dunedin area, about 40 caches for the day a few good up and down walks and a lot of fun had. Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
Paradise Track is closed until the 28th of Feb 2018 due to protection of wildlife in the area.
Tftc - found while walking back from nearly making it to the beach - 2 DNf but maybe didn't search long enough
After attending the CITO event this morning and being such a beautiful day I decided a wee hike or three was in order. Saved the longest track for last and off I went. Found post straight away but couldn't find anything so after checking fence line returned and put hand down a bit further and bingo. Used a bit of foliage to try and stop from falling down. TFTC
Quick find in the obvious spot, although it had crept a little. All fine and dry, so a quick signature and on to the next one.

A long time in the planning but this "once in a lifetime" holiday has finally come to fruition and will see us travelling around as much of New Zealand as we can manage in six weeks. This is not a caching trip, Yvonne doesn't participate but she does tolerate, so I hope to pick up a few here and there. And it's great to get away from the English Winter!
Day 6
A carefully negotiated morning's caching for me and then on to Larnach Castle and, in the evening, albatrosses and penguins. The main objective of the morning was the Paradise Road caches and, apart from a DNF of the one by the road, all were found straightforwardly.
BaSHful.

There is a nice view down to Boulder Bay at places along the track.
Cheers for the cache.

I did the loop, down Paradise track and returning via Braidwood and Seal Point Roads, not realising that Highcliff Rd was closed along the top. Going back would have added over an hour to my two hour loop, but luckily the roadworks were walkable and there was nobody about. Thanks.
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.
Greetings from Carinthia/Austria.

There was one hint object that stood out and pleased to say it was a quick find. Found with debsnz
Quick find on the way to boulder beach where we had a nice summer's afternoon enjoying the sun and beach. Yeah, that's our 700th cache!! TFTC.
Mallorcatommy and I were travelling through the southern island of New Zealand. What an amazing, breath-taking landscape! On our way we did some nice walks, enjoyed ourselves and found great geocaches. Thanks to all owners for nice hiding spots... We wouldn't have been to a few places without these little boxes!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Did the Buskin - Paradise Road track. There was no signs at the Buskin end to warn about the track being closed.
Container and log in good condition.

It wasn't the road to Paradise that I followed today - that is straitened, and narrow, and thorny... The one I followed was wide and easy and sloped ever so gradually downward and had gorgeous views and kept luring me onward. Definitely the road to Perdition! because at this stage I realised that the next cache down was missing , the rain had thoroughly soaked the long grass , and there was a long walk upwards back to the top . All very enjoyable, thank you Hallway!
Found this with swollibman on a nice day out on the peninsula, with a lot of finds. Thanks for the cache
Found with CJ-Curry, was going through logs and noticed I had not logged the entire trip along this path!
Thanks

Found at 8:16:00 a.m. on 19/10/2014.
Got up early to watch the Test match I had recorded the night before. Saw the caches and toddled off with my running gear.
Of course Iwas not first as I met Hinemoana exiting the track as I started - Early bird and all that [They started at 5am!!!]
Jogged down the track and collected the caches on the way back up, 30 minutes up and down. not bad for an old bloke...
A great morning, I'd expect a lot of cachers out today - met another starting as I finished...
OK once at the right hint item.

Not too many problems with this one. The clue was a great help and in a few minutes the cache was ours. There was quite a few geocaches active so I took the opportunity to off load a TB
Planned to do some caching in the North and caught up with Hinemoana. With all the new caches out we decided to go for them first!!

We had big caching plans for today with AT and were going to meet at six for a nice and early start Ten new caches published overnight?? How cool is that!! A 'slight' change of direction was required, but what better way to start a caching day than an attempt at a few FTF's! We equipped ourselves with suitable footwear and started walking. I got a bit disappointed with my boots when I realised they are no longer good at keeping my feet dry... Joint FTF!! TFTC!!!

We were feeling a bit sorry for fluffyduck38, he hadn't found any of the caches so far, so we let him find this one!! One find to each of us so far. TFTC
We let Grandad find this one, he slipped a few times getting it though! TFTC Hall-way.
Hevic and I took a wander through Paradise today. Didn't think this one would be too hard, given the hint - was proven slightly wrong shortly afterwards. A little scrambling and scratching later, though, and I had the cache in hand. Nice little bit of fun, cheers!
