I thought stump was a tad misleading. Tree might be an easier clue. First ever find though!
On our last day of our tour on the South Island, we walked the Pegasus and Tutaepatu walkway. And ofcourse we took the gps with us, to look for the three caches on this track. This was the third we found.

Out with 2 x wee wombles today for a bit of a walk so we obviously had to find some geocaches. Didn't take long to find this one today. Thanks for the cache.
7 people have found it since someone logged a needs maintenance. It looks like the camo has come off, which is a pity but the cache seems to be otherwise fine.
StreetWalker and I had been keeping this wee pocket of caches for a day when we had the bikes with us. Today was the day, and so set off mid morning to Pegasus with the bikes on the back of the car.
SW got to GZ first and had found the cache by the time I caught up. This was a nice track to bike on and enjoyed this section of our bike ride. TFTC.

#14428. After finding four caches on leg 1 and then three on leg 2, it was time for the last leg consisting of a further 4 caches. This was the first of them, and didn't take too long to track down. TFTC.
See previous log for TheBuddyolpals. We just realised we have 2similar accounts so are merging them.
#2,738: Thumbs Up!
I came to this one after the CITO event today. I was able to make the find after some searching. #2 in this series for me. All in good shape!

After walking North a couple of weeks ago today it was South from Pegasus. Nice walkway and easy find, TFTC
Beautiful day for a forest/beach walk looking for a trail of caches. Mostly successful outing - still so many muggles on a week day! Found in clear view right by the side of the trail - have put back into its hiding place but feel like it has either moved or needs to be further back - very easy to be muggled and I think it has been. Also themed item has come loose from cache and been bleached by the sun - almost unrecognisable, I thought I was looking at rubbish until I saw the cache right next to it! A great part of the trail though, thanks

A couple of my flatmates and I out for a walk this afternoon - found it... eventually... I wouldn't call that a stump though... TFTC (3169)

Needed to get my caches for the day, and I've had my eyes on clearing this patch out for a while now - so when Karma Reprint said he had one unfound here too, and didn't mind coming for the ones I hadn't found too, we set off to clear this bit out!
This one luckily was a nice and speedy find after the last DNF!!
Consec caching day # 1406

We were out on a family walk and decided to find some treasure on the way. This one really spiked the interest of the girls. Thanks for the hide.
Found it with Learn Active.was found on geound so have put it back where we think it was supposed to go.
Had some time available this afternoon on the way north so diverted to Waikuku Beach and went for a bike ride down the trail to Woodend Beach and back. Didn't take long to spot this one. Signed log, TFTC
Nice walk through the pine plantation. A few spots of drizzle weren't going to stop us this afternoon. Enjoyed the cushioning effect of the pathway after all the time around the city.
Had a great walk from Woodend Beach and found a series of caches. Had lunch in Waikuku and then walkes via Pegasus back to the camping. Thanks for placing and maintaining all these caches.
Have been meaning to head up to this trail for a few weeks but was always thwarted by the weather or faulty GPS. Got here today and managed to find most with a search for one on the GPS that had been archived already and one DNF. All the rest (including 1 replacement) found fairly quickly and one where Coordinates seemed a bit out but previous logs helped to locate.
Fun little series on a nice trail. Thanks for placing these and getting us out of the motor home. TFTC!
Lovely walk Crood L found this in a jiffy. So off to try out luck at another. Very wet so hope pen holds to paper. Tftc
Quick find, but for me hint is misleading.
Log wet but signable. Thanks for the cache.

Pleasant walk along this track, warm in the sun and sheltered from the cool easterly wind. Didn’t take too long to find. #878. TFTC.
I stopped and picked up this cache of the Spooky darling series a bit quicker than the last
The last cache just gave me the finger !! [:o]

Came down to Christchurch for the 2015 MEGA with a group of caching buddies for the weekend. My first MEGA, and it was fantastic- loved every minute, the caching, the events, meeting other like-minded crazies (sorry, I mean cachers!!!). Our group found 283 caches throughout the course of the of the weekend, so apologies for the cut and paste logs- but it's going to take me hours to log them all!!!! All logs were signed as SEAC (South East Auckland Crew), to reflect our home caching base!
HUGE thanks to all involved in putting on the MEGA event, and also to all of the Chch CO's for the effort gone to in their hides- we found some awesome caches, including fantastic hides, and cleverly done camo.... well done Christchurch, you're an awesome bunch!
Third day today, our mission being to find as many different kind of caches we could. This being done, we continues on to find some trads near to where we were staying.... and to try and get one of our group members up to cache number 2,000. Another cool cache in this series.... thanks!

Day three of the ChCh Mega weekend and today's goal was to make finds on as many different cache types in 24hrs...
Couldn't leave this one un-found so stopped by for a quick find... onto thee net one.
Really liked the camo on this series.
Signed as 'SEAC' South East Auckland Crew to save logbook space and time.

Part of the “South East Auckland Crew” here for the Christchurch Mega. All logs done as “SEAC”. Sorry for the Generic logs…but when logging 200 in a day it can be a bit much. But thank you so much for placing all these awesome caches
Day 3 or our epic journey from Auckland to the Christchurch MEGA. The South East Auckland Crew (SEAC) was formed for the weekend and today the plan was to complete as many different cache types in one day. After lots of research and planning we decided on a plan of attack and with a few extras thrown in we completed our mission of 12 cache types in a day.
Sorry for the cut and paste log, but all the different caches that we did today were awesome, many thanks to the local CO’s for their imagination and creativity!

Doing these one at a time to fill in dot days- so getting in some very enjoyable (and healthy) walks- and on a gorgeous winter day like today- it was a treat. Nearly gave up actually- wandered in circles when I got to GZ- my gps was happy with just about anywhere! and i couldn't find something that fit the hint (in my mind). But - one last try in some new places- and came up trumps. Made me laugh- not what i was expecting. Good job Nosynel- thanks for these
Got a few scratches on this one. Be warned, no need to leave the track.
Plan A from last weekend, but had to be aborted, came to fruition this weekend. Kiwi Moose and I had a field trip to the North Waimak to collect some Horses, other puzzles and any caches that got in our way. Had a great day stating at 7am and finishing with a beer at 9pm. Very productive day, with most cache logs signed with initials only.
Thanks for effort put into the puzzles and the hides.

A chilly day out with Karma Reprint, finding the little boxes. Took a few goes around to get our hands on this one. Cheers
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
Stayed in the nearby van park and enjoyed our afternoon walk.

Good to get this one today, after a DNF last time. Thanks for the series, nice to get out for a jog and cache along the way. Tftc
Back again after it had gone missing last time. Quick find this time. Tftc
Enjoyed this one. When out caching with the geocachlette, I try to let here find it so she keeps interested. "Hey why don't you look under there". She jumped and ran away when she found it, I just cracked up. TFTC. favourite point for my entertainment.
This was missing last time i was out here, so good to collect the last of the spooky's. My buddy couldn't cache with me today so what better way to cache than to collect a few of hers. Which way you going? can't give you a ride but you can walk with me and the dogs. Cheers for the cache bud.
The plan today was to head out to Pegasus and grab a few caches and head to the Rangiora event as the weather tomorrow doesn't look the best. With all the errands done in the morning, bellies full of a Daddy made lunch, flat tire fixed and cachelets rested we headed out to Pegasus on a lovely day. We headed to the beach and Mrs TW hasn't been here for years and a lot has changed since then. We jumped on our bikes and headed towards Woodend to grab a few caches.
This was our first stop and made the find after a bit of look around, gruesome!!! The blackberries are done for this season
Thanks for the cache.

It appears some traps have been set in this area and it is missing. I will try replace it ASAP and perhaps move it to the other side of the track.
Similar experience to the last couple of logs. Hunted around for about 20 minutes with no luck. Then we headed off to get another couple and had another fresh look on the way back for another 20 minutes or so. No luck I'm afraid.

I killed 2 birds with one stone tonight by finding some caches while getting some km's on the bike. A pleasant evening to be out for a ride. It was good to see other cyclists out on the trail as well. This one took a bit longer to find. The GPS took a while to zero in on GZ. I nearly lost a finger in a gin trap a few metres from GZ!!! TFTC.

It was SPOOKY in the forest the trees were creaking and groaning and blowing backwards and forwards. Then we found the cache container that was a surprise. The name should have warned us. TFTC
Mrs G still overseas attending a conference...but due back tomorrow. Bought the wee dudes out for an afternoons bikeride to burn off some energy. Quick find and sign with no one else around. Cheers.
After finding Spooky Darling - Are You Married in the company of the Warbuts we all continued up the Pegasus Walkway to find this cache. 'Hawkeye' Noeline soon had the cache in her hands. After signing the log the Warbuts walked off back to their cachemobile whilst I turned around and MTBed back down the Pegasus Walkway to Kaiapoi via Pines Beach. Thanks for the cache.
Wandered on chatting to BaldEd and located the cache. Nice little hide this one. Had left our car on the tar seal north of the cache. It makes a very pleasant stroll. Thank you.
I have some advice for future finders : If you've parked in the Pegasus Beach car park don't just look at the arrow on your GPS and head up the dunes at the back of the carpark. It wasn't one of my more inspired ideas. Luckily I'm not scared of trees, or holes, or being mildly lost.
Finally I made my way onto the horse path, and from there was an enjoyable walk, luckily I didn't meet any horses, as I'm not a fan.
At GZ quickly located and signed. Off to the next one.

If you go in at Pegasus, there is no need to go as far as the Beach Carpark,as the Track is sign posted at the last bend.Had a nice wee walk on the busy track, and had to wait until Muggles passed, before quickly finding and signing.TFTH
