This is the memorial to 71 fallen Firefighters in Indianapolis. It sits in front of the oldest standing firehouse in the city.
From the Firefighters Local416 website: The Memorial was dedicated on July 26, 1996. The list of names had grown to seventy-one as the concept was expanded to include all of Marion County.
The Memorial sits in front of the Local 416 Union Hall. This is housed in the oldest standing firehouse in Marion County. The Memorial consists of five descending columns that spiral out from the front of the firehouse to the centerpiece column. On each column are inscribed the names of our fallen heroes. Atop the center column sits a Phoenix, the mythical bird of fire. Just as it rises from its ashes, so too do the souls of our heroes, drawn upward to heaven.

Calgary Firefighters and Police Service Memorial
Since 1885, the Calgary Police Service and the Calgary Fire Department have given the Calgary community exemplary service and protection. Officers put their lives on the line on a daily basis to keep the Calgary community strong and safe. Some have sacrificed their lives.
Since 1885, one year after Calgary was incorporated as a town, a total of nine firefighters and 11 police officers
have given their lives in the line of duty.
The Calgary Police Officers and Firefighters Tribute Plaza will be a permanent, public memorial to honour police and firefighters who have given their lives in service to the community. It will create a special place for education, graduations, celebrations, as well as a place where visitors can pay tribute to firefighters and police officers for their ongoing contributions to the safety and well being of the community. It will encourage contemplation and remembrance,
both by groups and individuals, and will offer a quiet place for reflection and grieving.
The Tribute Plaza, first conceptualized in 1995, was assigned a committee in 2001 chaired by former Calgary Police Service Chief Ernie Reimer and former Calgary Fire Department Chief Tom Minhinnett.
Funded through corporate and individual donations, Tribute Plaza will be located on the in front of the Municipal Building, on land donated by the City. The project has the support of City Council, the Calgary Police Service and Calgary Fire Department and their respective associations, in addition to many other local organizations, businesses and individuals.
The winning memorial design, Walls of Memory/Lantern of Light, was the finalist among three artist proposals. It was chosen by a selection committee overseen by the project manager Lorna Johnson, whose credits include the Famous 5
Monument and the Centennial Sculpture for the City of Calgary Waterworks. The memorial design addresses three main themes:
1. The courage, dedication and service of all members of the Calgary Police Service and the Calgary Fire Department;
2. The history of the Calgary Police Service and the Calgary Fire Department since their inception in 1885;
3. A commemoration of the 11 police officers and nine
firefighters who have died in the line of duty since 1885;
Bronze figures of a firefighter and a police officer, Vigil
and Sentinel, commissioned by the Police and Firefighter Associations and created by Calgary artist Ray Arnatt (D. 2004) in the late 1990s will be incorporated into the tribute design.
Construction began in June 2005 and slated for completion in September 2005.

This simple memorial is on a flagpole in front of my home fire station in Long Reach, New Brunswick, Canada. It was placed there to honour the memory of Teddy Gorham, a firefighter with the department who drowned in Late October, 1985. I, along with many other department members, helped with the search and recovery effort that fall, and remember hoping that we would find him, while at the same time, hoping that we would not. (If you've ever had to do a simular job, you'll know what I mean)

This small memorial is on the front lawn of the Utica Fire Deptarment on Auburn Rd in the old village area of Utica Michigan.

This is in Essex County and is at Eagle Rock. It is a memorial to all who perished on 911 and it has a tribute to those who died to save others. The view of Manhattan is truly wonderful from this vantage point! All who were killed have their names inscribed on the marble walls.
1100 Hrs. Stopped to check out an interesting little park-like area today, after a few moments I realized it was some sort of Firefighter's Memorial. Although it doesn't seem to pertain to a specific Firefighter or group of Firefighters, I thought the owner might allow it as a find. There is no dedication plaque to be found anywhere, nor any sign that it is 'such-and-such park'. It is, however, just north of Mesa firehouse #201, and I suspect it is an area used for memorial services for Mesa Firefighters. The bas-relief bronzes are magnificient.
I found this last year actually when I was in Montreal, Canada and thought I logged it... Oh well, geocaching wierdness.
This firefighters memorial is located in the beautiful cemetary on Mont Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This memorial is located on the Great Alpine Road between Wangaratta and Tarrawingee, Victoria, Australia. It commemorates those that lost their lives fighting a bushfire near this location on 22 December 1943.
On 16 February 1983 several areas in Victoria, Australia were devastated by the most serious bushfire crisis ever seen in the state. Many fires occurred extending from South Australia through to the Dandenong Ranges and further East. Over the course of 24 hours more than 2000 homes were lost, making it the worst bushfire day in terms of property loss and more importantly loss of life that Australia has ever seen. Seventy-six people in total died that day. At the posted coordinates is a memorial to 12 firefighters who perished at that location on that day. Six firefighters were from the Narre Warren fire brigade, five were from Panton Hill fire brigade, and one was a casual firefighter helping to try and bring the fire under control. A sudden and early wind change turned a manageable blaze into an inferno from which they were unable to escape.
16 February 1983 was, appropriately enough, Ash Wednesday. Although the fires burned for many days besides this one, they collectively have become known as "The Ash Wednesday Bushfires".

Ahh I found one! This is the "Firefighters Memorial Grove" in Kings Park, Perth, Western Australia. From what I've found it is the first of its kind in WA, erected in 2000. May be the ONLY one in Western Australia!?
Kings Park memorial to honour WA firefighters
23/3/2000
Work has begun in Kings Park on the site of a memorial to honour Western Australian firefighters.
Police and Emergency Services Minister Kevin Prince said it was a great honour to have the memorial in Kings Park and it would become a very special place for firefighters, their families and friends.
"The concept of a memorial has been developed over the last two years and general agreement from firefighters all around the State was the one site they all favoured was that of Kings Park," Mr Prince said.
"The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority is to be congratulated for seeing its way clear to allow the memorial to be built on such a magnificent site.
"The Fire and Emergency Services Authority is also to be congratulated for embracing the memorial project and dedicating it not only to the firefighters who come under its management umbrella, but all firefighters who have served and are serving in this State.
"There are currently close to 19,000 people who have served as career or volunteer firefighters in our community. We are fortunate that not a large number have died in the course of their duty and as far as our records show, that number stands at 23.
"The memorial at Kings Park will be a place to remember them all - those who have been injured or lost their lives - as well as the service offered to the community by all firefighters."
The Minister said the memorial design, by John Tarry, was not a monument or statue, but a sculpture designed to blend with the landscape. The symbols of the sculpture included the arc-shape of the burnt out trunk of a tree, a flame form sculptured from stone and the stars of the Southern Cross.
The memorial is expected to be completed by May this year.
