Was over here to gather a waypoint information. Ohhh, a Wherigo cache puzzle nearby - is it friendly or irksome? Like many Monty Python fans, this is a quest we shall attempt. Many wanderings and limbs cut off. We shall persist and finally got the holy quest. That was fun, even if some retreating over the route taken - was involved. Thanks Tyreless for the innovative tales
I solved this Wherigo cartridge on a previous visit, riding coconuts, getting limbs chopped off, and of course searching for the holy grail. Never gotten around to finding the final cache however, but was driving by with Scaphoid and decided to give it a go! It took us a little bit of searching to uncover the well hidden cache, but it was eventually located safely! Well hidden and out of any muggle sights. Thanks for the quest
Being relatively new to caching there is a lot that Im discovering and enjoying. One of those things that is a new discovery is caching trips. Loci612 and I had discussed a trip to Sydney for a specific event, unfortunately, I couldnt make the event but I was still able to enjoy a good few days of caching with friends.Day 3 focused on the drive home, I wanted to be home for dinner while making sure that we still targeted some awesome caches on the way home. One of the first caches of the day before we'd escaped Sydney. We spent quite a bit of time searching before we finally found the cache. On the road again heading home. TFTC
i cant believe this. returned to avenge my miss from last week, and it glitched again on me,after the bridge of peril. it would not let me save after camelot, so its back to there. maybe. annoying.
I attempted this today, but on way to Camelot, i checked the Geo app for the trad that is near here, and that kicked me out of the whereigo app. I had not saved it. Oh, well, i was really enjoying it, as this movie is my vintage. I shall return, and start again. clip clop, clip clop.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Bad acces

The last cache of the day beofre heading back. With assistance of my camera torch I inspected many potential hiding holes. But only when I was about to give up after 15 minutes did I spot an interesting rock formation. Found it!

Found with EH and geodog Zelda. I love Monty Python, and loved this wherigo. TFTC
Found after much taunting and coconut clapping. Almost forgot my favourite colour. As a great Monty Python fan, this definitely gets a Favourite Point from me. TFTC Tyreless
What a fun wherigo. Our first one too. Took some time but it was definitely worth it. Beautiful views and nice container. Thanks Tyreless. Logged trackable because but didn’t take it because of the 5km rule since we found most of the caches around this area. TFTC
See this forum thread regarding completion codes: https://forums.geocaching.com/GC/index.php?/topic/343378-how-do-i-get-completion-codes/.

After driving past this Wherigo many times since I started caching, I finally got around to working out how to make them go.
Not at all what I had expected, but a delightful experience ensued.
As a bit of a python fan, I was quite glad to relive the abridged movie.
Though I did find Camelot a bit silly.
Took a trackable

Not sure if I’m doing it right, as this is my first Wherigo.
But the completion code doesn’t appear to be working for me on the website.
I directly copied and pasted it originally, and have also tried a number of variations in capitalisation to no avail.

Wow what a fun adventure. Had many laughs along the way. 3rd in the Monty python series TFTC
After yesterday's report by "Hiking in Australia & New Zealand" which spotted a five-meter long, no, I mean three-meter long, Diamond Python on Manly's North Head Track, I was very very careful where I stepped today. Which, I might add, was a good thing too because people should really pick up after their dogs. Anyway, I don't even know where the 'North Head Track' track is, and I don't even care if Diamond Pythons have a sense of humor. So you can well imagine my terror when I was tossed off the Bridge of Death and into the Gorge of Eternal Peril no less than five times, no, I mean three times, before I could cross safely, if that's what you can call crossing the Bridge of Death. Other than that frightening ordeal it was a great day in Manly made hilarious by this great cache. Thanks for the wherigo experience.
Today was a long time in the making. In fact, it was a long over-due adventure north of the -34th parallel to do Wherigos that held out great promise, and now that the day has finally come and gone we're happy to say we weren't disappointed.
This was the second of the day, and I have to admit, being a Python fan, I found this to be a LOT of fun. Peak hour traffic had begun to make driving a challenge but what did we care - we lived to cross the bridge over the Gorge of Eternal Peril! By the time we reached GZ, it was full daylight. Made the find without too much difficulty, tho some fallen branches and the like made the scramble interesting.
Thanks for the fun wherigo.
Dropped a couple TBs.

Tyreless I found your cache The Complete* Monty Python and the Holy Grail on 22/10/20, 3:05 pm. This is my find 2781 and find # 3 today. What a well thought out Wherigo. Played out the adventure and the cache at the end was easily located. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

My daughter had a party nearby so I had some time on my hands and therefore elected (unusually ) to find some caches. I parked in the recommended spot and headed on down to the start. From there it was an enjoyable journey back and forth around the area until I was given the details of the container, which I found without much trouble. Thanks for a fun experience (and for taking the time to create a WIG - I know how much effort goes into them!)

#1707. I have had this Wherigo on my radar for the last couple of months. I have been in the Manly area a bit for work of late and finally got to have a day off. Caught the bus to near spit bridge and headed off to the starting point. Not long after I arrived I also got to see spit bridge rise up to let a boat through. Had a great time doing this Wherigo, worked fine on my iPhone 6 with no issues. Loved the steps to complete it all. After completing the cartridge it did take me a good bit of hunting to finally spot the cache. It was guarded by a fearsome dragon (see pic) but after hurling some spare taunts it ran off. TNLNSL. Thanks for an excellently themed cache ‘Ralph’ The Wonder Llama and a well deserved favourite from me. Now off to do the Spit to manly walk (with some inspirational music of course!)....

I have lunch in the city today with fellow retirees, and am looking to be at an event at Galston tonight. So can I pick up another cache on the way?
Well, no. My chosen target wasn't exactly on the way, and as a result of a new cache being published nearby I got a second...
Nothing ever goes quite as planned - like a very late finish to lunch resulting in both physical finds being made by torchlight.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, all I can say is "Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptang*". Or was that "Ecky Thump"?
This one was great fun from Opening to Final Credits. And a nice spot to wander in search of the Grail doesn't hurt.
So much for those familiar with the movie, and that knowledge doesn't hurt getting through it just that little bit quicker.
Part way through publishing hit - and there's a new cache not too far away. The Frog gets me again!
Got to GZ as the sun fell below the visible horizon, meaning I needed the torch on my iPhone to confirm I had the right spot first up. So much easier a find than a nearby WhereIGo by the same CO that just eludes me.
Completed signing duties and replaced. And got the series hint - can I find all the others I got ages ago?
Has to get a favourite.
Now is that new cache nearby still unfound?

We have been eyeing this one for a while now. Today we finally decided to head north and see where it will take us.
It was a lot of laughters and silly acting chasing this whereigo. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Thank you for the cache!

This cache had taunted us a second time for the last time! Today was the day that the opression would no longer be tolerated in the system! We gathered our coconuts and set off on our quest to seek the grail! Kniggets, wizards and even cute little bunny rabbits were no match for us. Perhaps it was all the elderberries they'd been eating! After overcoming the cahllenges, we were rewarded with the illustrious grail!!! Or at least, a grail shaped beacon!! Either way, it was ours!! Thanks for the adventure!

The itinerary today was the (long, tiring) Fisher's Bay coastal walk all the way to Manly Beach. The sights here were not as spectacular as at Bondi yesterday, and the weather was quite a bit warmer, but we still had a good time on the hike. More caches perilously close to cliffs, and more wonderful views of property we will probably never in our life times be able to afford Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining these caches -- we had a few DNFs, but were successful on the most part. Individual remarks are under the line.

Monty Python is a big favorite of at least one of us corgis, so this was a must-do WIG. A good level of familiarity with the subject matter = a barrel full of laughs. Took a bit of time at the final GZ to find the right spot to look under (and we had to shoo away a few lizards while doing it), but in the end, all was well. Thanks for the shrubbery, and FP awarded!

15,305. Found during a trip up to Sydney with minniek on the hunt for some Wherigo and Virtual caches - plus whatever else we could grab along the way.
I recently looked and saw that my Wherigo finds were quite low, and so with a number available up in Sydney plus a few of the new Virtuals around as well minniek and I headed up for a rarer cache type weekend.
Day 3 and we had our eyes on completing 2 more Wherigos before heading home. This was the first for the day. Again what can I say - a well set up Wherigo which we stepped through mostly without a hitch. Managed to avoid the various pitfalls and grabbed the elusive Holy Grail. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks 'Ralph' !! FP of course !!

Headed to Sydney with fitzy_1965 for a weekend away with the aim of getting as many wherigos and virtuals as we could. Ended up with 7 WIG's and 2 virtuals on a super hot summers weekend.
With the temperature at 41 today, the trail was hard going. Part way around to Camelot our GPS's had us going in the wrong direction. After backtracking a bit, we soon were heading back in the right direction. Had to pause for a bit towards the end as I wasn't feeling well but soon had final co-ords and cache in hand.
Thanks for a fun wherigo. Loved the music that goes with it. Favourite point from me.

Came out today to find this specifically because of it hunting attribute but was pleasantly surprised by the location. It turned out to be great little wander around and a favorite point awarded for bring me here and the Wherigo creation. Thanks Tyreless for the placement the wherigo ran with out a hitch and cache is safe and sound. Cheers
I knew i didn't waste any of my youth watching Th Holy Grail a thousand times! This was such fun for a true fan. No problems at all and the cache is in excellent condition. TFTC. Fav point!
Found with BillHill531 on a day trip to north Sydney to find a bunch of high and rare D/T combinations. We had a great day helping to fill in our grids for our first, second and beyond loops. Finding all that we attempted and making good time.
We were just driving too close to this to not stop. I love Wherigo's and this is a perfect example of why. It was made so very very well. I enjoyed it a lot more then the source material. Always pushing it and getting the best responses. I'm pretty sure I died in the story, but it let me finish it and find the cache. And that location! is there anything it didn't have!? Rain forest, rock formations, a bridge, a beach... How does this cache not 100% favorite ratio?
Thanks for the amazing Wherigo and cache!

Found with TOMBI!, working on some interesting D/T combinations, needed to fill some of the empty squares . Finding all attemped caches today, this was the 2nd one today, we stopped here as it was close to our route, and don't often have a chance to do a whereIgo, Lucky TOMBI! had it loaded so we could participate in this well thought out story, and finish. I hadn't heard about this tv show in the past but on my Easter holidays, my South Aussie friends introduced (more like shamed) me to it. So came out on a beautiful day for a lil bit of a walk and found this to be the closest whereigo that the 3 of us hadn't found!
Pk had to scramble to get his 1st and my 2nd coconut because the fencing had blocked easy access to GPS coords. It's actually unsafe and must only be attempted if wearing hiking/trekking good gripped boots.
After that, the trek was an easy terrain and we found coords quite accurate.

The second on my final attempt to compete the series after 2 years in the wildebeest.
I exited my wooden rabbit up in Avona and attempted to make my way to the start. Alas, the area has been fortified by a particularly impertinent, Gaul who taunts would-be crusaders and not just keeps them from starting but hinders access to a vital palm plantation. He'll be leaving in late may, so he says. Well, I distracted him long enough to get what I needed, albeit with considerable difficulty and, sound-effects in hand, headed off on my quest.
A minute passed, and then another, and yet another, as I battled man and beast, finally to arrive at my prize, bloodied and armless.
After a slow start, thwarted by the fortifications, this was a lot of fun and worked really well. The most enjoyable, trouble-free WIG yet. Thanks Ralf and have an extra prize for your efforts.

Yea. What great fun. Actually cache took us a bit to find but got there in the end. Thanks
Well it’s been 3 days since we did a Wherigo cache, well actually ANY type of cache, so today we all headed down to The Spit in a quest to find the Holy Grail. Parked the geochariot in Avona Crescent, and then set off down the bush pathway to the starting locality.
After successfully chasing coconuts we set off on our journey to Camelot, avoiding the O class trams which used to frequent this cutting prior to 1939 (it’s actually the old Spit to Manly tramway route, with remains of the old track ballast still on the ground), until we were stopped in our tracks by the Black Knight. We managed to escape that encounter with a mere flesh wound, but then came the crossing of the Bridge of Death. We talked our way out of (across) that one, but then had to dispatch a wild & ferocious hairy beast, before finally completing our quest and sipping from the holy vessel.
After taking a sip we noticed an inscription in the bottom of the cup, which appeared to be a set of ye olde GPSr coordinates, so we entered them into our ancient device. This soon led us to a well fortified casket containing a bound parchment, which we stamped & signed, before replacing as found. There was also a clue for a future quest, which was duly noted. We took nothing but left an offering of some ye olde coinage, a vintage 1963 Australian Penny, to add to the treasures within.
Thanks Ralph, and your close friend Lord Tyreless, for yet another one of your excellent Wherigo caches, which has provided us with yet another fun family adventure at yet another nice harbourside location. Well worth yet another Favourite point from us. We’ll have to stop doing these Wherigo caches, as we are fast running out of Favourite points to give, and they are all so worthy of bestowment

Ni Ni Ni calop calop calop. In spite of fenced off locations and a frisbee game right on the path to Camelot we still heard the word of god. A great journey. Thanks, Ralph. Ni Ni!!
We spent the day on the northern shores and specifically the The Spit to Manly walk.
This was an interesting wherigo for 2 people who aren't huge MP fans but this had us laughing along the way.
Thanks for a well constructed cartridge and being part of our beautiful day.

A whereigo with a difference. Enjoyed this. Picked up tb to take to Queensland
Streak day 18 of trying to fill the calendar - I have had fun with Tyreless' other wherigo caches. They are the only ones in my area, but they have been a great introduction to them. I will definitely have to hunt more out soon. I wanted to do this cache as well because it is part of the "And now for something completely different" series of geocaches. The first two I collected were fun so I figured why not grab another since it wasn't too far. So after another busy day of work was finished I was able to head to the starting point in order the follow the hunt for the holy grail. Getting to the first location was a bit difficult due to the construction nearby, thankfully my phone was still able to pick it up, but it meant walking through the long wet grass. : / my shoes were soon saturated, but I had my coconuts in hand so I soon trotted off to hunt for the grail. My quest was a fraught one, losing several limbs to the black knight, getting attacked by a troll and a rabbit before finally coming across that icon of legend the holy grail. What a fun adventure, then I was given what I really wanted. The coordinates to the cache. It was only a short walk back to the GZ which conveniently was on the way back to my car. I was hunting by headlamp and was a little worried that I might get disturbed by muggles. but despite hearing lots of random noises no one came across me. I was able to sign the log, collect the clues for the series final and put the cache back as I found in short order. Now it's time to head home for some dinner. Thanks for a fun cache.

I was lucky enough to have the geoWife accompany me on this epic adventure. She is definitely a premium Monty Python fan and as such perfect to for this quest. Thought we might have some difficulties given the construction going on at the start, but managed to get close enough to begin. We survived many battles with most of our limbs in tact and finally sipped from the cup. Slipped in a TB after noting the clue and signing the log.

Wow, what a monumental adventure this one was! It had me walking back the way I came, but that was ok as I had plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors today. I am a big fan of the movie and it was great to see that some of the best parts were recreated in this wherigo. All the steps ran smoothly and it was nice to see some decent booty at the end. Apologies for the late log. Thanks for the ride.
After my planned canyon trip up at Newnes was cancelled due, one of my mates suggested the Spit to Manly walk instead. As I haven't done the walk before (and there were plenty of caches I hadn't found there) I was keen to come along. I was lucky that with the big gap between fitness level, age and injuries I had a few moments to duck off the track and grab a few caches along the way while waiting for the slow ones to catch up.
After checking the caches in the area to find last night I spotted this WhereIGo was here. Also to my pleasant surprise so were the other 4 WhereIGo caches I had yet to find within a 400km radius. Since this was probably my second time to Manly since I was a kid I HAD to play the cartridge and find the cache!
I have watched the Holy Grail only twice in my life, but I still remembered the gags this cache contained and was laughing quite a bit during my journey.
I was down to one remaining leg against the Black knight, sang along to the Knights of the Round table, and fell off the bridge a few times before getting the bunny on the first shot.
A very entertaining cache. I was just a bit disappointed it didn't go on further.

And so after a break of many months the quest continues. The second to last installment sees our brave adventurers seeking that which should not be sought..the grail! A metaphor for all quests where the journey is an end in its own right.
At the designated spot our horses were mounted and their sound filled the valley, after working out the mechanics of witch bridges. We ventured forth to Camelot losing some limbs along the way. We were almost at the troll when the singing finally ended. Got knocked down at the bridge but I got up again (now that's a snappy song) and continued on...only to be halted by a dastardly white rabbit. Lost a few here but continued on to final our quest. Signed the register in the appropriate spot and dropped off a coin for the next seeker.
Thanks Ralph ... a fun one in a format we normally avoid! A fav.
Now just some rotten fruit and the final and I'll be done.

Some days you leave a cache really disappointed. This was one of them. I was having such a good time completing it that I want more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more.
Oh yeah just a little bit more please.
But at least I have a lovely set of coconuts. Really freaked out the girl who snuck up behind while I was singing about the lovely set of coconuts that I have and believe me I do have a lovely set of coconuts. Probably all the chicken I used to eat. Because God never gave them to me.
Speaking of God, how fake was he. Some character from the fiction section of the library.
I guess he thought he could annoy me by having me walk around in circles. But hey that's how I start every wherigo trying to get the damn things to work. But I was getting some dirty looks from people in the carpark. But I am sure that they liked my lovely set of coconuts. One of them even asked me to check his car blinker. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. It worked then it didn't. He through a drink bottle at me and was really aggressive so I walked away. I
really shouldn't let these distraction occur.
Anyway made my way out to Camelot. Passed some sleeping troll and then had a good singalong with some pissed old farts in olden time clothing. Yeah weird I know. They also kept trying to squeeze my lovely set of coconuts, so I returned from whence I came (shit they put a spell on my writing).
The troll was awake. On the way back, so I taunted him with my lovely set of coconuts and said he could only play with them when I was looking away from the sun. He was not a smart troll. Maybe he thought he was the messiah but I reckon he was just a naughty boy. But he let me passed thinking I would turn around but i had lied. Luckily my lovely set of coconuts had turbo boost.
Riding past the beach I saw another lovely set of coconuts but they caused me to crash into a tree. I would have settled for them as the holey grail.
Oh shit a ducken killer rabbit. Don't worry I ripped one off and the rabbit was dead. Hooray for dead rabbits. What was god thinking?
Then before me was the lovely set of coconuts seen earlier. No I mean the holey Grail just near my set of coconuts to get me away from here.

Well well well Ralph the Wonder Llama you have done it again. Illustrated the omnipresence of God, proved witch piece of wood would best make a bridge, had some armless fun with a knight and sent me on an all expenses paid trip to Camelot. And that was just the half of it!
Camelot was bathed in sunlight - i would have stayed for a kip but the sun suddenly disappeared behind the hill opposite at 3pm.
Cache found in excellent condition.

Brave Sir Basil boarded the iron horse from our True capital on a noble quest. His first miscalculation was the distance from the Manly Ferry terminal to the start point. Not the Ohhhh about 1k as first thought but a smegging 3.2 k as the African swallow flies. And that ignores the smegging topography which in a word or 6, is not flat. But after an epic hike, it was time to Marshall the coconuts (knew I should have brought my own). Oh, how Sir Basil enjoyed this, despite the many more kilometres hoofed than planned for. There were gawfaws issued, luckily whilst no peasants were nearby. No joke, on the final leg of the Holy Quest, as I sought the Grail, a single ray of sunlight shone through the shrubbery and illuminated the Grail itself. And if that wasn't enough, as I stumbled back over hill and dale, I passed a building with the name of "Camelot". More manly giggles followed. Alas, I too can only give one Fav Point. In a word.....Brilliant......Brilliant and Funny. That's 2 words, no it's not, it's 3 words etc. etc. etc.
Had a lot of fun with this one and really enjoyed the walk to Camelot (and back LOL)

Found it with Team FIN [kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

So funny and so silly. Must say that I enjoyed my enforced rest at the perilous location. Not so much physically but a break from the zaniness! I 'm not a mad MP fan but do recall the movies and had a laugh at some of the memories they brought back. Lovely to come here on a quiet Tuesday morning. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
PS not exactly sure what to do with the Completion Code.
PPS Almost forgot to say that at GZ I prayed for assistance to roll back the rock... But God was busy so I had to do it myself.

We planned to do the Spit to Manly Walk this morning and started out with this fun cache. God had us running all over the place when we decided to turn on him and head for Manly. We'll finish on another day but the start was certainly fun and funny. cheers... Gaztek
What a cracker of a cache!
Managed to get half the cartridge sorted in the morning before I ran out of time. After my schooling I was able to finish the next part then the final. The cartridge was very well put together and enjoyed the walk in a great spot. Top marks! TFTC!

What an awesome cache! This was my first Whereigo and I really enjoyed the interactive story, and theme of course. Was a beautiful walk in the company of Team Manahan. Thank you so much for this amazing cache. Favourite point from me!
Had a great mounting with The president and first lady doing this cache.
I had to watch the movie the night before to refresh my memory.

Had an excellent time completing this wherigo. Haven't done one of these for a while, so had a rather embarrassing few minutes search for actual coconuts before following the cartridge directions ;p With my spectral coconuts located, I set off for Camelot; facing witches and a near-immortal knight along the way (glad I had 3G reception for that encounter!). Finally arrived at glorious Camelot and sung along in my head with the welcoming party Off to cross the bridge of doom (a few incorrrect answers costing me some time penalties during which I snapped the attached shot of an interesting caterpillar), then onwards to the Cave of Caerbannog to face the vicious beastie within. Luckily I had come prepared with my trusty spiritually-imbued detonation device, and swiftly the foul beast was defeated! At long last the grail was within reach!!! Trekking along the mountain pass I soon reached its hiding spot and made my mark on the scroll nearby. In tribute I left a pathtag and two trackables (1 TB, 1 geolutin). Thanks for the adventure, this gets a favourite point from me!

I joined the noble quest of Sir Canary and Sir bikerbuddy, but as the only one without a device running the cartridge, I got to play Patsy :-/. It was all a little unfair - after telling me I had to use the coconuts, they looked embarrassed when I did it & made me stop .
It was a hot day, so I was grateful that our quest led us through a lot of shaded areas. The views were great, and we got to see lots of people enjoying the water. I it looked like a beginners group were out learning to kayak, one of them obviously wasn't paying enough attention to the lessons because he capsized his kayak .
Anyway, I trailed behind the others, helped with the questions, and eventually we found our grail. And I finally could demand that we start a second quest, to find me a cup of coffee!
Thanks

Sir Canary the Wise and his trusty companions found the Holy Grail. I got into the spirit and at least for some of the way later the coconuts and rode my horse. I had fun with the Black Knight and the bridge crossing. Unfortunately it was a little hot, but my spirits were high at the end of my Quest.

“We’re going on a quest,” Canary said.
“A quest for what?” I asked.
“For the Holy Grail.”
I sighed. “Is this going to be a sacrilegious cavort where fair damsels wear the lascivious emblems of Rock N Roll and eat chocolate crosses?”
“No, but fearful knights may eat chocolate bunnies while pruning a shrub.”
“An Easter theme?”
“Definitely not Eastern,” Canary replied. I have wondered about his hearing lately. “Besides, who’s going to make fun of Eastern religions right now?”
I could see his point. “So we do the usual,” I suggested. “A fair damsel in a castle, guarding her sacred chalice, we knock on the door, ask for some sugar, and them blam, you hit her on the head and we do the dirty.”
Canary looked appalled. “Are you suggesting that the sacred chalice is a metaphor for the virginal?”
“Might be more interesting that way. You know, like the Princess and the Pea.”
“The Princess doing what?”
“That fairy tale with all the mattresses and she could still feel the pea underneath. Because she was a virgin.”
Canary looked perplexed. “Did I mention a shrubbery in all of this?”
“I don’t do that kind of thing,” I explained. Besides, I wasn’t sure what he meant. “Is it something you’ve discovered recently?”
“Don’t say that!”
“What was it I said?” He winced, like he was in physical pain.
“There, you said it again! Ow, now I said it.” He curled into a ball and rolled around on the ground.
“Oh, for heavens sakes,” Toriaz cried. I’d entirely forgotten she was in this little scene. There she was, tied to the castle wall with a chalice balanced on her head. “Will one of you fools find your inner python, get me down and sort out my sacred vessel.”
“Would you like me to do that with a shrubbery?” I suggested.

Going almost completely off topic, when I was a teenager living in the area, this track was part of our family's infamous Clontarf 7k run track. 2k flat out down hill to the bridge, around to Clontarf, then up to Ethel St, and home. My younger brother still holds the family record, and I'm running out of years to beat it
Loved the cache from beginning to end, and played the inspirational music as I strolled around. The track was quite busy today, and just as I was catching a group, a quite unexpected song burst out. I had to pretend it was a ring tone
Annoyingly, I forgot to record the code in the final. Oh, well, someone stole the FTF on the final anyway. Maybe I can work out the co-ords without all the codes?

Sir Bella of Waggy as a party of 3 rode forth (cue coconuts) to join this most noble of holy quests. God was most generous with his gifts which we later put to good use. A few minor flesh wounds were suffered and we did wonder how the moat to Camelot was going to be crossed. Bella had been practising combat skills with a cross between the Black Knight and the small fluffy white one but in the end after losing 5 ere 3 knights resorted to the tried and proven method. A dragon guarded GZ which fled at the sight of our knights and GZ was claimed and signing duties completed. TFTC

Wow, God looks like that? Oh well, I even actually spoke to him. Can rave enough about how well the cartridge performed, but mainly on how clever it was assembled. After collecting coconuts, bridge building with witches, staining a black knight, being thrown off another bridge, and finally revenging the awful downfall of three brave warriors I finally completed an awesome wherigo.
Highly recommend all Cachers to attempt this. Sadly, can only give out a single fav point otherwise I'd double it. Top shelf workmanship Tyreless.

24/11/14. 12:50 PM. Cache #2027. Streak day #155. And now it was time for Sir Kid Ron the Wise to attempt the quest and seek the grail, though many maidens did weep at his departure, for so few bold adventurers had returned. Firstly did he seek a deity looking uncannily like Sir W G Grace (so that's what the G stands for), and shortly thereafter did he and his coconutty steed make their way to the bridge to assist in the trial of a witch, though it were silly.
Many beasts did he see along the way - many dragons (water ones) and varied small birds that he could not identify. He did possess Olsen's standard book of British birds, but twas the expurgated version (the one without the gannet, which are despised for they wet their nests).
He defeated the Black Knight, circled Camelot, confused a wizard named Tim, and slew a foul and evil white beast. All in all, the quest would have ended there in a little over 45 minutes. However, it took 9 hours as he found himself waylaid at the Castle Anthrax, only to later be rescued by Sir Lancelot (the bastard!). Back to the quest, he was able to quickly locate the grail! He left it there for King Arthur to find, but first left his name and took a small travelling trinket. He also noted another secret message (7/7) and retreated to his castle.
Many thanks, oh Knights who say "Ni"; please accept this gold piece, I mean fave point, as a token of respect. TFTC }:)

Helloooo!

'ello. 'oo eez eet?
...
Got the taunting of our lives from a very rude Frenchman so we felt we had to go on and successfully seek the Holy Grail just to show him we weren't the sons of a silly person.
After an African swallow dropped us some coconuts we were off and chasing down the various tasks in order to complete the task. Very eerily just as we completed the second task (to the second) the Spit bridge closed again! Uncanny.
We encountered all sorts of weird creatures from the Dark Ages including a three-headed knight and some self-destructive monks but nothing could stop us in our quest. Even the silliness of Camelot was not enough to put us on the wrong track for too long and we completed the final tasks defeating even the Black Beast of Argghhh! (Oh all right the animator suffered a fatal heart attack) before finding the Grail. Inspector End-of-Film couldn't stop us as we signed the log and dropped in a TB.
Extremely silly.
Thanks!

Oh, brave, brave Zalgar, oh brave, brave...

What about him?
WHAT ABOUT HIM? It's "brave, brave Zalgar".. what about me? Did Zalgar pay your wages? Feed your horse? Comb the nits out of your hair?

Hmmmm.. that's a little better.. what about the knights, the witch and the bridge?
Oh, brave, brave Zalgar, oh brave, brave Zalgar..

.. and so it came to pass that a Knight from the Order of the Knights who say Ni made a right twit of himself on a busy Sunday morning with the popularity of the Manly to Spit Bridge walk at it's zenith. A right spectacle it was to behold walking back and forth with a Smartphone, although not totally out place with numerous others also walking in the latest shades of lycra with Smartphones and Flat Whites (hot, soy, one and three quarters shot with a bit of foam on top please) in paper cups. Eventually the cache was found, signed and safely stowed for another quest. And so thanks was given for a new caching experience and a morning's entertainment (not all at his own expense).

Sir Zarg and his band of merry men (wait.. wrong tale...) set foot and trotted along to Camelot, maintaining every ounce of grandeur they possessed, keeping a steady pace, on a pleasant Sunday morning... when they realised one of their members was battling elsewhere!
So brave sir Zarg ran away,
to come back another day....
....or not. That day, in the afternoon, sir Zarg and his brave, brave meese and mates went battling once more again... in peril the meese were discarded and overcome by the all-powerful, superior, invincible, all-mighty, impassable, ever-strong, undefeatable black knight.....
....but brave Sir Zarg snuck away,
past the mess without delay,
he went past all the other hiccups,
the bumps and lumps and all the ruckus.
Without attack he entered in,
capturing the treasure within....
....escaping nearly without a scrape,
he wittily did escape....
....without the meese, he fled, he did,
for miles there, without logic...
....until the ransom note did come:
we have the moose: give us a sum...
brave Zarg did have to leave
some wheat for his Alces Alces

Bravely bold Sir Zalgar, rode forth from Manly Vale.
He was not afraid to DNF, O Brave Sir Zalgar.
He was not at all afraid to damage his expensive work shoes.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Zalgar!
He was not in the least bit scared of the pending dark,
Or to be the second to find, that would just be his luck.
The fishing muggle paid no mind, the path was clear and dry,
And the WhereIgo worked fine for brave Sir Zalgar!
He chased the nuts and fought the knights,
He crossed the bridge of death and danced in tights,
He burned the witch and had encountered no hitch,
For his knowledge of Python-lore is rich,
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Zalgar!
Then Brave Sir Zalgar ran away
Bravely ran away away
When FTF was put to bed, He bravely turned his tail and fled
Yes Brave Sir Zalgar turned around,
And gallantly homeward he bound,
To play his excellent reward,
On the screen with his keyboard,
...Luckily he has DOS-Box, brave Sir Zalgar!
