The needle had us searching in the shade at first but a review of the cache details pointed us in the right direction. TFTC
finally got back for this one a bit busy here when here last , signed log at 08:35am cache good and met a temporary resident who was very keen for a chat ,TFTC
After setting up our camp site opened the app and was delighted to see there was a geo cache waiting for us. Took the opportunity to search while the camp site is muggle free to claim the find. Was cautiously on lookout for those legless lizards while searching. Thanks for placing cache.
Well, that was different, concealed in an interesting spot, so glad we were not muggled. Love this area so much, will be back hopefully!
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa
We had planned on camping here for a few nights but we loved our spot a little down the coast so decided to stay there.
Headed over for a look anyway, just one caravan spot left.
Glad we were not approached by muggles whilst at GZ, not sure how we would have explained ourselves.

Easy find, probably a very save place that nobody but a Geocacher would bother looking. Campground looks good, just being put off by everybody using their gennies here, disturbing the peace and quiet.

Great spot!
Took the dogs for a run on the beach and collected some shells along the way.

This is a late post. A very late post.
We decided to go camping thro SA in winter (yes that’s how late this post is) and as always with us, we tend to wing it as we go, no real set plans as to when or where.
By the time we got home I was more than grateful to see my bed.
The next morning however Buttons decides that going camping at Clairview would be the bee's knees, let's go. "what. now?" Yes now.
We don't bother with the camper, taking just the 3 second (actually the 4 second (I have timed it)) tent and we head off.
It's now the next day and we decide to head up to Camilla before going home.
I have plenty of time to read up on this one as Buttons is driving and I have formed a fairly good idea of what we are going to find when we get there.
Yep, you can smell it before you see it.
Buttons dawdles behind (I don't blame her) but it's a quick find and then sign and out of there, down to the beach for some fresh air.

Found. It's a little smelly around Ground Zero and lots of little flies so it's a great hiding place. Thanks for the Cache.
I have found myself with great pleasure to have found your cache. I congratulate u on a fine hinding spot
Had us looking in the trees for a few minutes, but turns out it wasnt Easy once we kinda knew were it was. Met a friend as well.
Stayed at the beach for coffee and a walk on the beach. Then hit the road again. Easy find tftc.
On our way to Townsville to attend the Mega Event with TMZ59, Patrol14 and Peppa we needed a few different caches everyone seemed to need a cache or 2 to fill a Challenge.
Soon found the cache in a nice area log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

Second day of our trip to Townsville for the MEGA and we (Peppa, TMZ59., Imbunda and I) are heading to Mackay. Had to stop here to grab this one for some challenge or other reason.
A short detour off the main road to this cache. What a lovely location. Would be a great place to stay one day. Found the cache SL then returned as found.
Found on 10 April 2022 at 4.42pm. TFTC, cache me up.

Visiting this one with geofriends. On the way to Mackay for the night as we venture north to Townsville for the Mega, with Team de Ville (Imbunda, Peppa, and patrol14). Slight detour off the road to get this one. TFTC.
Day 2 of the Tour De Ville and we’re back on the road heading North…
Again with TMZ59 at the wheel of the Habanero Sport, Patrol14 up the front, and Imbunda and I in the back fighting over the arm rest…
We have a list of caches, that I spent at least two hours creating, to collect on the way up… the list lasted exactly one cache yesterday before we were getting “other” caches…
A crazy challenge cache out a Cunnamulla sees us detour here… f?$&@)$n campfires…
Having a previous finder with us, thanks TMZ59, meant we were here less than 5 minutes and most of that was taken up in replacing the snap lock bag… we’ve got just enough time to visit the beach before hoofing it to the event in Sarina….
Tftc… log signed as Tour de Ville…

On our way back south following a fun family Christmas in Airlie
What a beautiful camping area, and surprisingly empty when we visited. It's no longer free but it looks like a great place to camp. The cicadas were deafening at the GZ but thankfully not so bad near the campsites.

Today is another moving day. We have left St Lawrence and are slowly meandering northwards. The next few days we will be staying in Koumala while we try and attach the trails around there. St Lawrence was a good place to stop for a few days at the wetland reserve. Good clean amenities, not crowded with shade and picnic tables dotted around the area. Very cheap as well.
We are enjoying the scenery and the places w3 have seen on our way north. The geo caching trails have highlighted a number of different areas we have just driven past on our previous trips. Being shut out of Victoria (our home state) at present due to Covid restrictions means we have plenty of time to relax and take it easy and find lots of caches! Our thanks and appreciation goes out to the local CO’s for their efforts in placing and maintaining all the local caches we have found. Well done and thank you.

Easy find after searching for the toilets! Thanks for the five dollars I left something too.
Should also add when we where writing in the log one of the pages fell out, the log was wet and muddy.
I almost thought I would have to crawl under the toilet block. Didn't.
Thank you, unexpected find when camping with our friends. Left a treat for the next person to find! #snookandbondi
Tftc cache me up, interesting spot for a cache, took a while as GPS had us wandering in circles.
Should have paid attention to the hint.

Grey Nomads travelling around Australia - more recently, just Queensland, and of late, heading up the Bruce. Today with our snail firmly attached to our geomobile, we checked out armilla Beach Free Camp for a coffee and cache
Coffee made, and consumed with a beautiful view over the ocean, then off to find this cache. Searching around GZ found nothing, we spread our search a little, still nothing, then I read the hint. YOU WANT ME TO SEARCH WHERE!!!!!
Cache was found18 metres out.
Thanks cache me up
BTW. This is no longer a free camp. Fees apply at $12.50 per site.

TFTC. Camilla Beach is a great spot. Camping no longer free. $12.50 not bad though. Here for a few days.
Nice to find a cache here after a brief stop for lunch and a walk on the beach. Will continue our trek north. Cache log is damp and mouldy but still good enough to record our log. TFTC
Heading north with our caravan scrambled underneath till we made the find. Plenty of caravans camping here. Thanks.
Heading home after spending a few days at Clairview. First stop this morning, found a beautiful beach and scored a TB in the cache. Great start to a beautiful day in Queensland. T4T$
Travelling towards Townsville after finally travelling is allowed in Queensland for Queenslander!
All contents is wet. Needs an exchange. We put in a dry logsheet in a separate plastic bag, including a travel Bug.
According to the signs from Council, it's not anymore a free Camp. But cheap and beautiful!
Beautiful area here!

Found! 2nd cache. Boys swapped the tennis ball with a stubby cooler.. never know when you need one lol.
Did some basic maintenance log book was soaked, water was half way up the cache container. Replaced logbook with a dry log. Left TB and tennis ball TB and TB Lol! TFTC Found BFE style.
We came across your cache, cache me up, on our way with youngoldfella, caching towards this year's QOGM in Barcaldine.
Fun seeing YOF on his back on the ground half hidden.
Log signed and cache replaced at 4:47 PM on September 18, 2018. TFTC.

On my way to QOGM 2018 the long way and caching p with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC in Rockhampton and travelling in convoy, south of. Arrived close to GZ and only one to do, inspect the building. I was on my back and had just handed the cache to Mrs RoddyC when a Back packer went to use the facilities and enquired if it was Ok to use them. All he could see was legs with work boots attached half under the building. The container was very well concealed and was not visible at all. Think stink and North and like a lizard drinking and you will find it. TFTC cache me up.
Found a great little camp spot down the other end and walked back to look for the cache. MrT spotted and retrieved it. Signed log and returned as found. Then walked back along the beach to camp. TFTC
Haha. Oh my...the things i will do to get a cache! Was very quiet today. Not a muggle in sight. A million mosquitos made me feel very welcome though. A dirty happy outcome!

Located with a little crawl around. Not a minty tin in sight.
Staying over for a few nights in this great location. This has been a free camp for many years. However, in recent times ISSAC council has imposed a $10.00/car/night levy. Probably a reasonable fee, considering the maintenance required. Many still complain at this. Nothing is getting cheaper in this world. We all need to pay our way or this lovely location may be lost to us. End Rant.

Came in to check out the free camp but inflation has hit and what used to be free is now $10. If you want to find a place where you can hear absolutely nothing, this is it. $10 or priceless? .......... TFTC cache me up.
We spent a lot of time looking around given coordinates then used our nous and looked in an obvious place. There it is. All ok and returned. Ignore comments about amount tin, it is the container as described.
The cache name is now a bit misleading, there is now a charge to camp here.

On a road trip with Geo-Nanna, Teen Geo and her friend today (we had planned to find 18 caches today but the day just gets away from you and we only scored 12). A quick trip from Mackay, we've always wanted to stop at Clairview, Carmilla, Ilbilbie, Koumala etc. Having plundered Clairview's caches it was time to look around Carmilla so off up the road we went. Found the location quickly but upon exiting the car we were greeted by the mosquito's attending the "worldwide convention for all mosquito's" Aaarrrgghhh! Bug spray ought to fix it. Once satisfyingly sprayed we ventured closer to GZ and located the cache. We didn't find a 2L container however we did find an eclipse tin. So if we got the wrong container we have signed the eclipse tin log (ha, ha!). TFTC. TNLN. SL.
Seems I can never find the water point cache, went for this to console my self after another failure.
This was a quick find!
Thanks for the cache

I was long overdue to go out for a day's caching and it gave me a chance to give my new Garmin Montana 680t a work out - very happy, those Garmin people really know how to make a great GPS! Ended up with 19 finds for the day and about 500Km TFTC TNLN - a nice area to camp by the looks of it
Found it! No longer a free camp, you have to pay now! Also no internet past the sign but a lovely parking up place right on the beach! TFTC
We have moved & are now camping at Flaggy Rock. a great location for the nearby caches.
A few camping along here, must be the keen fisherman.
As previous logs have said it is now an eclipse tin

On our way along the East Coast we came to this cache.
It is a nice and long journey.
The weather is sometimes sunny and hot and sometimes rainy.
Thank you very much for leading us here and hiding the cache.

This cache is described as a 2lt container so this was the size we were looking for, with no luck. We then spotted an eclipse tin in a place sorta close to GZ. SL TFTC
12:36:00 PM. Found it in the end after waiting for a muggle to move on. Did it because we were there for a lunch break but really not a nice place for a cache. Thanks cache me up for placing this cache.
We drove up this way from our camping spot at Flaggy Rock to suss out the possibility of camping here sometime, perhaps on our way back through this area (if we do happen to come back this way at all, that is). TFTC
