Took a short drive over from Clairview.
Lots of clues in previous logs meant we knew where to look, we even employed a few tools to help but I’m pretty confident that it’s no longer there

This is a late post. A very late post.
We decided to go camping thro SA in winter (yes that’s how late this post is) and as always with us, we tend to wing it as we go, no real set plans as to when or where.
By the time we got home I was more than grateful to see my bed.
The next morning however Buttons decides that going camping at Clairview would be the bee's knees, let's go. "what. now?" Yes now.
We don't bother with the camper, taking just the 3 second (actually the 4 second (I have timed it)) tent and we head off.
It's the next day and are visiting Camilla to get the two caches here before we head home to Rocky. This one was so tricky. we had to keep stopping our search as Muggles wandered by and one elderly couple wanted to strike up a conversation as we loitered.
An excellent job was done hiding this.

Konie and I were continuing our journey south. After fueling up nearby, we headed to this cache. The cache was quickly located after a short search and the log signed. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Haha, a hungry tree! Clever hide. Useful to know where to charge our EV if we ever drive it up here. TFTC
I have found myself with great pleasure to have found your cache. I congratulate u on a fine hinding spot
We tried first as well in the trees, but without success. After reading the logs we checked around the corner and made the hit.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 108. Mackay to Clairview via Sarina. I am heading south slowly and spent the long morning caching along the Bruce Highway and in Sarina. Apart from a few failed tree caches, I had a great day with some interesting locations visited. It is all the more entertaining doing it with a van, and sometimes this means longer walks or skipped caches.
Most of the days caches were quick rad side stops. No problems here today with the cache, once I worked out there was no water anymore, just electricity !
Thanks for the cache cache me up

Heading home to Brissy from Townsville. Hoping to collect a few new "counties" on the way.
GPSr wanted me in the trees. Finding nothing there I looked elsewhere.

So many places to search. Checked about the area. I didn't though stick my arm in holes under the tree to feel about.

Day 18 of a 3 week holiday driving from Canberra to Townsville and back to attend the Mega. Today was my final day in Townsville before heading home via Brisbane to tick off a few more counties. This one took a few minutes to find. Needed to read previous logs to change the search focus. TFTC.

Caching with my main squeeze, Oddiewan, BitternA4 , and our geo pup. We are on a trip
up to the Townsville Mega taking our time driving up (as best we can with limited time off work). We chose your cache in a goal to find a cache in every QLD LGA to/from Townsville.
Almost missed this one then saw a clue inside the fence that sort of confirmed the cache name. An old signpost with no sign and remnants of what used to be at GZ, then I spotted a potential for a sneaky hide for a bison as described in the page.
Thanks for the fun, cache me up

TFTC. We are making our way to Townsville for the Mega at Easter. As we make our way up we are stopping to find caches between our overnight stops. Always good to stop to stretch our legs. And find a cache as well.
Caching today from Rockhampton to Mackay as we move north to Townsville for the Mega. Along the way , stopping to do some of the caches. Signed the log. TFTC
Took a bit to zero in on, but got there in the end.
Log signed. As we were getting ready to leave spotted Snake Pit pulling in with his van for the night.

This took way longer to find than it should have. Cache blindness after a long day on the road.
Heading north for the Townsville Mega, taking 5 days and finding caches along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches to show us more of your local area.
Needed help from previous finds! Was looking in the trees. Looks like my pipes at hone when hubby accidentlycuts a pipe while diggin
Second day of our trip to Townsville for the MEGA and we (Peppa, TMZ59, Imbunda and I) are heading to Mackay. Had to stop here to grab this one for some challenge or other reason.
Fuelling up and a cache. Busy place here today.
Found on 10 April 2022. TFTC, cache me up.

On our drive to Mackay, we took a break in Carmila.
We decided to collect this one as it had stopped raining and was quite steamy.
Clever little Hide. Our name is added to the log.

Day 2 of the Tour De Ville and we’re back on the road heading North…
Again with TMZ59 at the wheel of the Habanero Sport, Patrol14 up the front, and Imbunda and I in the back fighting over the arm rest…
We have a list of caches, that I spent at least two hours creating, to collect on the way up… the list lasted exactly one cache yesterday before we were getting “other” caches…
This cache was on the list, no idea why, so while the Habanero Sport was filled up I walked ace and took care of the cache…
Tftc… Log signed as Tour de Ville - TIPP

Stopped at Carmila to refuel. So Peppa headed across the road to find this while we fueled up. We are on the way to Mackay for the night as we venture north to Townsville for the Mega, with Team de Ville (Imbunda, Peppa, and patrol14). Slight detour off the road to get this one. TFTC.
Working my way north, collecting a few smilies along the way, stopping at caches for either a requirement of caching or a requirement of a leg stretch. Some had some good reasons for a stop and some interesting placements.
This was a quick find as I continued north to the Townsville MEGA event. Thanks for the cache, I signed the log and the cache was replaced as found. This was a nice cache to stop at get some fuel and a quick snack.

After staying in Charters Towers for a few days it was time to head off and thanks to the rain last night an easterly direction to the coast and then south was chosen. Arrived at this one after getting fuel nearby and headed over to GZ. I eventually narrowed the well hidden cache down and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Found after arriving at Camilla for an overnight stop on my way down to Marlborough. Co-ord out a bit by my GPS but a previous log helped. TFTC.
Found on way home to Rocky.. log wet and soggy/ unable to write on/ replaced log with new paper. Tyfc
Found it with the help of previous clues. Log was saturated, so I didn’t unroll and sign it. I’m on my long drive home to Darwin. TFTC

Stopped here for a coffee on our way home to Brisvegas. Co-ords a little off but found it fairly easily SL TFTC
Pulling in here to refuel, i marched myself the short distance to gz and was incredibly lucky finding it in the first place i looked. Phew. That could have taken a lot longer.
Thanks cache me up for placing a cache here!
Found at a quarter to ten in the am.

After reading previous logs, I was worried that this one would be too hard to find. It was surprisingly easy to find. Very well hidden, but in an obvious location, about a meter behind the old capped-off water pipe. T4T$
A pity that all previous finder are writing it's away from the given coords. What about adjusting them?

Stayed over night in this sleepy village. Tried to find this cache yesterday but didn’t localize the tiny beeson.
Today, after reading some logs it was a bit easier.
Thanks for the cache!
Leaving Sweden in the beginning of January, passning Singapore on the way to Australia. Then visiting NZ before flying back home via Dubai. A trip of almost three months. Fantastic scenery and nice people along the way.

Not so quick find, as we travel south towards home on this new years day. Happy New year's everyone and tftc! Our gz was a little off but daughter stumbled across it when we changed location!
Found by Mary and David at 14:30. Surprised to see so many people here, and then two electric vehicle charging stations. Delighted to see sugar cane again after a long absence from this part of the world. Our thanks to cache me up.
Found forty metres away from our caravan. The GPS had us looking a few metres away but after extending our search a little we found the sneaky little hide.
Well done to the previous cacher who added a ‘handle so we could access it easily.
Many thanks for the hide cache me up

Tricky cache, searching around the large trees didn’t help, this was nicely wedged in its hidey hole. Tftc
This time last year we tried this cache. We could feel it but couldn’t retrieve it then. This year we ‘came prepared’ and got it. Phew! It was jammed in so tightly. We fastened a little ‘ring’ - hopefully it won’t be so hard to get out now.
Thanks cache me up.
