I've been following this one because it's so close to home. When I saw it had been found by and overseas visitor who is an experience cacher I thought I'd give it a go. It's not here. Even with help from several PAFs via Periscope it was still no joy. Needs archiving.
**Just another DNF to add to the list. 30min spent looking. Hoping the CO checks it soon.**
DNF
Had a good look and given the other DNFs logged, believe it may have been washed away.

3 of us did a pretty good search of the area (under over up down and through) and didn't find an intact cache. Did find an empty sistema close by but given how long ago some of the other DNFs appear and finding no other cache remnants it may just have been a coincidence.
Had a look "haqre naq gura hc", but couldn't see it and not game to put hands into holes. Don't know what bities may be in them.
Didn't find the cache unfortunately. We did have a good laugh when a black belt in the grass had us all backing away slowly for a minute though. Tfth Casper 73 xo
BEWARE OF SNAKES AT THIS CACHE!
I love that this is an urban cache with a difference. It could've possibly been easier to find had I not been wearing thongs and been scared off by a rather large slithery creature at the canal floor!
I found an alternative to search part of the structure and hung over it to attempt to search the rest but without the option of putting my feet on the floor this cache defeated me!
I may return (when the council has cleaned the canal out, with gumboots!!!)

Noah and Simon located the item but there was no pen. This was our first time and we will be sure to carry a pen on our next adventure. We will be back to sign. Thanks for the hunt!!!
Cache was laying on ground, SL took TB as I'm bound for VIC next month.
Thank you. I placed cache pack where it fell from.
Cache on.

Found after a hike to the GZ. Left 'Sydney the Koala' TB to continue his travels with other Geocachers. A good spot for a cache ... Very enjoyable. TFTC.
What an effort, wet shoes after a wrong turn or wrong side. Farmers friends and kikuyu are running rampant and first Finder this year. TFTC
Tftc found with gg01. Quick find because it must have fallen from its hiding spot. Sl and place it back under and up to rehide.

Chose to do this cache as my find for the day, luckily for me it wasn't raining at the time. I have a feeling a I missed a couple of cachers by a couple minutes. I took the two TBs but they haven't been dropped in the cache yet so will wait to retrieve them online. SL #1707 on streak day #888 TFTC
I have cycled along here a few times on the Sydney Spring Cycle fundraiser events.
This one was a quickie.
Thanks for placing this one casper73

#1197 (2 of 2 today)
Decided to go for a few of casper73's recent caches. Grabbed two, and drove past one - Tiny Teddy Teddy 2 where not only cricket was being played at the oval, but I noticed major earth works in progress near GZ.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Easily the most interesting GZ location of the recent hides by the CO. What a pity that the informational sign about 150 metres from the cache is largely unreadable.
On approach, I had a suspicion of where the cache was located, but had to wait out two muggles approaching from the south.
Once they were gone I homed in and found the cache in the first spot I checked.
Completed signing duties and walked back to the Hademobile via an alternate route.

I found the cache laying in the grass, I think it needs some magnets or Velcro to hold it in place. Thanks casper73.
Streak Day #479 - Needed a find for the day and as the storm yesterday has kept me quite busy I finally could nab a cache at 1030pm. TFTC
1/11/14. 3:59 PM. Cache #1970 (what a great year!). Streak day #132. 1st of 4 caches for the afternoon. With the missus out shopping half the day and geogirl wanting to stay home, I had to wait until late in the day when I could be relieved from my post to go caching. On the plus side, I missed the worst heat of the day, but on the minus I copped the worst of the southerly buster that came through.
I was almost near this one and it was starting to rain a bit when Canary called for some help, so I pulled over and had a bit of a geochat. By the time we'd finished and I'd found out where to park, it was absolutely bucketing, and the lightning wasn't too far away either. Luckily I'd packed wet weather gear, which I quickly threw on, still getting wet in the process. Made my way to GZ and I updated the cache on my app, picking up the new coords that TC said would be there. By now the rain had eased a little, but I also discovered when I made the find, that I could sign in a dry place. By the time I got back to the car, the rain had pretty much stopped. On to Gipps Road next. TFTC }:)

#2765- Many moons ago, I did some casual teaching at Merrylands HS, so I knew the area well, though it appears to be a little more multicultural than it was when I was there. A quick stroll to the spot- can't say this was my favourite today. If I have one phobia, it is long grass, especially in this heat. Cache grabbed and signed and got the heck out of there. Thanks.
Found easily thanks to the new coordinates. The other ones pointed to a spot much less pleasant to investigate. I'm pretty sure I heard a snake there.
Thanks for the cache.

I too found the coordinates a bit off. But, with help from the owner I made the find. I provided him with some better coordinates.

This is my regular bike ride route and when I saw this pop up I decided to go on a bike ride geocaching adventure. I somehow always come out with those annoying little pricklies when I geocache haha. This one was fun, I quite enjoying jumping off things and climbing walls.
BYOP guys!!
BYOP guys!!
The poms had just beaten Samoa and daughter was cooking beef and black bean. A quick check of the Geocaching map and Wow, three new caches. Sorry daughter.
The geowife and I had considered this area as a spot for the cache in the past.
Thanks for the FTF and future cachers should search 20m downstream from the indicated GZ to avoid the burrs.
