Quick find in an obvious spot. Sure glad no one was about. The log is not stuck that is how tight they are. BUT the log is full and desperately needs a replacement. I had to sign on top of someone else. The Geosportz Marathon continues.
Found after school with Benandtyler but the log was stuck so we couldn't sign it

Needs a new logbook ASAP. no remaining space. I had to sign over a previous entry.
Found this cache a year ago but seemed to have not logged. Parked nearby and raced to the cache. Easy find. Hardest part of this cache is returning the log to its home.

This was the only find for the day. I usually travel along Centenary Road but forgot about the bus lane so I found parking on Monterey Street. I followed the path until I hit GZ. I checked a few likely spots until I realised where the cache should be. Whilst I managed to find a random blank spot to sign the log, the log is now full and will need replacing. TFTC.

Followed the canal from M4 wenty cache - these days they'd preserve the waterway with the natural bush but in the olden days they just ripped it all out and concreted it. In some areas they are returning these canals to a more natural state to slow the water flow down and to be a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Was the wrong side at first but made a quick find of yet another of this type of cache which is way too common in this part of Sydney. Signed and replaced without dropping it although it was a close thing.
Thanks!
Thanks!
On our tour today we also stopped here and found this nice one;
Thank you

Our second cache for the afternoon with P&Q and Master Q. Shhh muggle approaching......and it turned out to be another geocacher looking for the same cache. Log signed.
#71 walking towards GZ saw a few people around there, thought keep walking, then saw them looking so realised they were fellow cachers. Met P&Q, Master Q & rite. P&Q found the cache while we were all looking signed log, rehid then had a bit of a talk about interesting caches we had found. Good to meet them after previously meeting at an event
Paeked at nearby street then walked down. Checked around wasnt to hard to locate,
Did legals and placed it back in its spot
Thank you for the cache

Yesterday this canal was half full and flowing very fast, today there is a slow moving stream in the very bottom. Where does all that water go? Cache was in the very first spot I looked, SL #1701 on streak day #882 TFTC
Chose the two furtherest caches from the station to tackle this mourning being this one first. I made a meal out of this one as I walked to all 4 junctions of the bridge and had CIH on the last one. I needed to trust coords as I placed it back in the bag upon approach at 20m to go.
Initialled log with builders pencil as I strangely haven't a pen on me, thanks Jasper73

Our first find!! Woo!! Came here after not being able to find teddy teddy teddy up the road. Feeling good after our first success!
#1196 (1 of 2 today)
Decided to go for a few of casper73's recent caches. Grabbed two, and drove past one - Tiny Teddy Teddy 2 where not only cricket was being played at the oval, but I noticed major earth works in progress near GZ.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Started here, and after parking a short distance away, walked to GZ. As noted, the cache is no longer camoed. I could spot it on approach, and I'm surprised it has remained unmuggled.
So I looked for a replacement.
Took me a few minutes, but I got a less than optimum one. And before I had the chance to complete my business three muggles and their dog came along the path.
After waiting and waiting for them to leave, I finally completed signing duties and replaced with camo.

I think I spent ten times more time getting the log out than I did finding it! It was really stuck in there. Thanks... I think!
#2764- Once I found a suitable parking spot, which is no mean feat in this area, it was. A short walk and instantly spotted as I crossed over. Thanks
End missing so log will get damp. Have put it in a zip lock bag which I have tucked well in. Hope that keeps it dry in the meantime

I knew it could only be in a few spots, due to the construction. As it was I saw the container on approach from 5 metres or so.
Quickly signed and off to work again.
Thanks for hiding this cache Casper73

27/10/14. 11:16 AM. Cache #1965. Streak day #127. Came here for today's streak cache and before even looking at the tree that the phone & map said was GZ, I looked around for other places because I'd seen from maruce's log that it was off by a few metres. Sure was! About 14m off when I found it. Try my coords instead. TFTC }:)
The poms had just beaten Samoa and daughter was cooking beef and black bean. A quick check of the Geocaching map and Wow, three new caches. Sorry daughter.
After having a FTF for Prospect Canals I hightailed it along Centenary Rd. The GPS had me at a tree but there was an obvious area a number of metres away that held the cache that might be visible for some but revealed itself to my feel. TFT FTF.
