Found a pile of rocks but no cache.

I'm from Norway, escaping the cold winter and travelling around New Zealand for 7 weeks, using geocaching as my tourguide. Today I spent the day in Lake Alta and Arrowtown.

About this cache:
Glad I decided to come over here, the container was lying out in the open, with the lid off and the logbook on the ground. Luckily it hasn't rained lately, so the logbook was still dry. I put it back together and found some rocks to cover the container. Hopefully it will be all good from now. Tftc

Quite easy to find.

A quick easy find of this cache in a quiet little park, although we noticed one of the catches is broken, but still seems to work ok. TFTC

On holiday in NZ. We love Arrowtown. We didn't have a pen so we took the photo.

Nasty wet box found in the suburban hide and some noob muppet stole the tractor TB. Which bigger muppet put the dirty box inside the bag?? Haha SL, changed the bags and tried to hide better, yeah right. TFTC

Walked on from the Cannonball cache and made a quick find. Damp yes but not under water (yet ). TFTC

Came on Thursday morning with my small grandson. He was happy looking through the pipe calling out to me while I was looking for cache. But no luck for me today.

A quick park and grab I'm Arrowtown! Took us a short drive to find access to GZ but before too long we were walking through a nice park. Fine weather meant we didn't have to worry about getting our feet wet so it was an easy find in the end. TFTC.

Went on a big adventure with Wafflekitties and geo pups, had a blast thanks for the memories! TFTC.

Found while on a winter holiday with LCBuilder and our two geodogs. We spent 3 weeks travelling down the east coast and then up the west coast, setting our tent up at a different campsite each night. We didn't have any real plan, just went where the caches took us we saw a lot of awesome sights and will definitely have to come back one day as 3 weeks isn't really that long!
I'd never been to Queenstown before so great to finally get here On our way to check out Arrowtown.

Walked down the GZ in the dark in which finding the entrance to the park was the real challenge. Found the clear geosign and signed the log. TFTC

Quick find, full of rubbish, so emptied it out. Tftc

Feels like a lot of eyes from the surrounding houses. I managed some stealth by taking photos of the hill, then quickly grabbed the cache and rescued 2 trackables. I dropped in a pill container with waterproof log sheets which should last a while. TFTC

Found it, but was left open when I got there and needs repairs, log book is soaked and destroyed.

This was a bit exposed, so we covered it a bit more. TFTC

Raining again. Contents a MESS. Damp mouldy paper, torn scraps people have used as a temporary log cause book too wet to write in. Not a good look. Put on your must do list to visit asp.

Drive around to find the entrance to this park. Found cache easily but it was wet inside. So many beautiful houses around here. TFTC

Last cache of the day, right on dark. Easy to find but the log was very soggy.

Contents off the cache were all wet and soggy pretty easy to find with no clue

Amazing how these areas have been developed over the years. Cache was out in the open so we hid it a bit better and hope to return & replace the log book which was unusable. TFTC.

November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days,rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.

Managed to get here today and no trouble with the find. Container was full of water so emptied as best I could. Tftc

As I strolled up to GZ in the rain, I saw a sistema-container sitting in the rain, on the edge right next to where it was supposed to be - lid off and the logbog sitting on the ground.. Seems like the grass has just been cut a very short while ago and the person cutting the grass was curious.. and since there's no geocaching-note in there telling about what the person found, they just left it..

I put the stuff back in the container and put it back in hiding (as best as I could), but the contents are soaking wet.

After I found the way it was easy.

Following on from a very busy caching weekend and having gone home, only to turn around the next morning and fly to Dunedin for a few days with our local rep this was an opportunity to collect a few caches that I required for a couple of personal challenges that I had set myself.
Last evening in Queenstown so thought to grab a few of the local caches that I had not collected yet while working my way out to arrow town.
Nice quick stop here and no problems.THis cache had been muggled but managed to collect enough to put back to together and sign the log

Went for a wander after checking into our accommodation nearby, to stretch the legs after an early morning flight. Went out with my brothers for a bit of a catch up, plus the enjoy finding the odd cache or two. Checked all other likely spots before finding the cache. Took the TB.

Easy one though not actually visible as some posts suggest.

Found it! Beautiful hiding place. Glad it had a pen in it. Saw the travel bug, but wasn't 100% sure what to do with it, so I left it. Hopefully it's not there next time.
