Very late to log - with apologies.
Trying to catch up so we can achieve our next milestone.
After a trip to Canada, we now have a short trip of the Nth & Sth Islands.
It was a fantastic trip.

I overlooked the spot Geocchi found this in, because I thought it would be too waterlogged , but Geocchi found it all safe and sound here. Tftc
The track around here looked beautiful through here. I found this one easily enough. Tftc
Thought I would be stumped here but then circled around and having not spotted any strange objects (aside from a sphinx back along the trail a bit) I was about to leave when I noticed a not altogether strange object... TFTC!!!
Sunny and warm weather today so I decided to drive to this area and grab a couple of Caches of these trail. I enjoyed my walk and could find all the Caches which I tried.
... So hard and but it shouldn't be! Took ages as I interpreted the hint wrong and looked at the wrong places. But I didn't want to give up. Finally after 40 minutes I could get it, not a really hard hide but still tricky!
Thanks for hiding!

Hello I had pleasure to have one DNF here and successful find as well. Checked today while in the area. All is good here. Exactly where find it. Best of luck. !
Spent far too long trying to find this one with no luck. No unusual object and nothing at correct distance from path.
Cycled the trail today from Puketutu Island with a mate. Decided to do some caching around this lagoon. This was the sixth one we came to, and finally I sighted the cache before my mate, raising the score to 5-1 TFTC Nice day and very quiet.
My 100th Cache

Second visit here. Area is now much cleaner and previous log gave me green light. Took a bit. Well hiden indeed. No doubt why missed first time. TFTC
Got it straight away as good hint and coords. Great camouflage. Cache in good order. TNLNSL, TFTC.
The only strange object I could find at GZ was a dead rat.
I briefly considered that it could be a fiendish container, but no!

The geo-senses were spot on this morning cos I went straight to it after a nice morning bike ride. TFTC and for continuing my daily streak (Day #255)
Cache number 3339. After attending a nearby event I teamed up with ABCDF4 and Eyespyben to grab some caches around this lake. I arrived at GZ and headed off track to search. As I wandered around the cry of "I have got it" was heard. I headed in that direction to see that cache being signed. Thank you for the placement.
After attending the event off we went to grab some caches with KayGeeDee & EyespyBen
This one was very tricky. We extended the search area assuming that the coordinates are not perfect.
It turned out that the coordinates are quite good, we just did not look carefully enough. A bit mean! I love it!

This cache was so cool to find. I really Love the places you hide your cache. Tftc!!
Found while on holidays with stairman1. Our holiday is coming to an end. We have seen lots of wildlife today.Cheers from Australia
Quick find. I guess we knew what to look for after doing the rest around this lagoon. Not sure why there was a leaf in the cache though!
Even looking straight at it, it was hard to be sure it was the cache, but lo and behold it was in exactly the first place we looked, though it didn't appear to be there at first glance.
It's a beautiful morning out here today, which of course means muggles... I had to wait a while for a muggle and her two dogs to go by... I always feel so conspicuous when you are just waiting around. But would it look worse if you jumped into the bushes?
Having been out here with a group of cachers yesterday I decided I had to come back today and finish the loop (they had done this loop previously), so back in the car I jumped, and drove the hour back to auckland.
The good thing was I knew where I was going today, and having a purpose this was a nice series to do on this seriously cold morning. Winter has arrived. Still, at least it's not raining like yesterday!

Just landed from WLG and checked into a nearby hotel. Grabbing a few caches before I eat. Tftc. Nice waterproof log!
We took a while to find this, picking up numerous suspicious objects and disturbing the creatures living underneath them, including a seriously large spider which fortunately ran in the opposite direction.
Suddenly we spotted a strange object,"Is that it?", "No its not", "Hang on a minute, yes it is!!". Blends in very well. TFTC.

Sadly [B)] this is my last full day of 23 days in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
Could New Zealand possibly have offered some better weather for this last day? No!
The Rangitoto-trip had to be cancelled due to heavy rain [B)] and instead I went to a dense cache-area in the south where I thought rain wouldn't matter so much .
The very wet catch of the day consisted of 29 traditionals , an awesome earth-cache and about 2 litres of water in my shoes, clothes and hair ...
At this tricky hidden little treasure I learned again, that is it is a good idea to read some previous logs....
Thanks to all owners involved [:X] [^] and special thanks to keylev and G-2's Bodyguard as the top-contributors to the finds today [:X] [:X]!
Cheers from Germany

Wow that took a while! Gps kept jumping around so we didn't know if we were close or not.
What a sad day, we checked in a Airport hotel and will flight back. We'll leaving New Zealand with tons of amazing experiences and impressions.
But after organization of the luggage I found the time to have a walk around the Mangere Lagoon.
This was Cache No. 6 for me in this round and again I was looking too deep in the wild, but on the way back I spotted the cache.
Thanks again for this little one and best regards from Germany

1st one of the year! Good find Elliot. And Ayla did well navigating with an old school compass!
Quick find this evening with eltee291. Great walk around the loop tonight! Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache!
Quick find today with hingis20 as we continue with caching in Auckland. Have come to NZ from Victoria, BC, Canada for three weeks of vacation, visiting family, and caching. Having a great time in this beautiful country. TFTC
Dad and I wanted to get out for a bit of a run/drive and these locals were the closest to where we were staying.
Over 20 finds in an hour and a half, no DNFs and a lot of fitness.
Thanks for these great caches being placed here.

Final cache of the day and of the circuit for me today! It was a scenic, hot and tiring walk but boy was it fun going through all the different series. I was Glad this last one could be dispatched quickly as I had to et back for dinner and it is quite some way to Mount Wellington. TFTC!
JDScout and I are having a mini break in Auckland. It is Canterbury Anniversary holiday. This is day 2 of our break. An interesting place for our morning walk. A tricky one to find.

Oooh !!
Pooooooh !!!
This cache delayed me strolling through the Pooh Fields for a while
I was looking for a strange object !!
None could be found !!
And after 10 minutes or so ...
... I was left standing in a patch of scrub listening to the birds
While standing ...
... I spied a spot that I would hide a cache
And there it was !! [:o]
Gotcha !!
'Tis a wee bit tricky this one

Ooh...this one was a bit trickier, not sure whether it was eyes or fingers that found this one, small size, plus cunning camo made it a challenge. Fortunately the coordinates were super accurate so that helped a lot. Signed the log - all good here, camo holding up well and log in good condition. TFTC.
I didn't have much luck under here and time was running out. I'll be back, it's a pleasant wander. Cheers
Poppas first find for our walk around the lagoon took us a while with the GPS bouncing around tftc
As I had a free afternoon, I thought I would try and find a few caches. This was inspired earlier in the day by Mrs NewlynFam who had rung me trying to find a particular cache... anyway that call inspired me into action. I had seen the Watercare Coastal Walkway on the map a number of times and so that is how I ended up here this afternoon. This particular cache was the seventh one for the afternoon. For some reason the GPS was all over the place on this one and took quite a while to settle... and so finding this one for me was more of a fluke than anything. So thank you G--2 for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciated it as it brought me to a place that I had never been to before. Also because I hadn't been here, I took a few photos that I will share. TFTC
Gps batteries died, so using my phone and co-ords not as accurate. Took quite awhile to narrow down GZ, but then I spotted the obvious, and shortly after Mr 6 did too.
Hint helped quite a lot. Have walked often while working Auckland but finally made the effort to locate a few caches.
I managed to find a couriering excuse to go to mangere - what an awesome caching location (if you ignore the smell). Sorry for copying and pasting my log, but I found close to 50 caches and was trying to get as many as I could in 6 hours. It's hard to come up with a unique log for each. Most of the caches I accessed by folding bike, some on foot and very few by car. The weather mostly held up pretty good, only started bucketing down near the end of my mission. Thanks to all the people who placed such an abundance of caches in this area!! TFTC
Set off for a jog/walk (inbetween caches) around the lagoon, lovely afternoon for it. Took a wee bit of searching, but eventually found, then onto the next. Thanks for the cache
Had some spare time today, so decided to walk on a beautiful day. Thanks for placing all the caches, really enjoyed our time.
I spent a couple of minutes looking for this well hidden cache and read a few previous logs. Noted the previous comment about the huge slug and guess what- still there on the lid when the cache was found. It must want in but hasn't got there yet - cache is in good condition. TFTC.
Found this one pretty quickly. had a huge slug attached and Mrs p threw the cache down pretty quickly and left Mr b to do signing. Day three of our 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
