Hi there South49,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days so others know exactly what is happening with this cache - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Day 2 of our caching adventures with Becknmonts, Micaparamedic and Earthbound Chief focusing on the Wangaratta area.
We stopped at this cache on the way to the nearby earth cache starting at the most logical location but came up empty handed and then expanded our search a bit and there was still nothing. We phoned a previous finder who's notes fitted the area that we were first searching so we all had another look and unfortuantely we came to the conclusion that this one maybe missing but it was a nice visit.

Today is our last day in Wangaratta before we head to Maryborough so I set off today on my bicycle to find as many of the caches here as I possibly could.

What a marvelous old tree this cache is hiding in. All is good with the cache and container. SL TFTC
Nice walk to find the well hidden cache after we discovered the decoy! Logbook damp but writable - placed the logbook in a cliptop plastic bag to stop the moisture getting to the logbook.

With the Creation Celebration in Wangaratta I had the excuse to get a few caches a bit further south west than I normally venture. With yesterdays cold weather in mind (the only reason I couldn't see the snow on Bogong from my back verandah was because of the cloud) the thermals came out for the first time this year and packed the geohound in the car and headed down the Hume. Aim was a few puzzles I had solved previously plus a couple of new D/T combinations while climatic conditions were suitable, plus pick up anything else in between.
This was another goal for the day - a cache to help me complete what should be a relatively easy local challenge but has driven me nuts trying to find the last number. The other cache has been recently archived so keen to get this one before it disappears. A quick stroll with the geohound to GZ, the large empty decoy on the ground had me worried, but looked up and there it was. Log is still damp (a plastic bag would solve this!) but signable. Log returned and now onto the evnt.

TFTC. Log book signed however quite damp. Appears muggles May have been writing in book. Someone left a large fishhook in container. Not the smartest idea when sifting through contents.
Didn’t quite have us stumped

Everton Day 3
Today we headed to Wangaratta to do some caching.
After dropping Bill off to ride his bike along the OCM trail, this was my 1st stop. I wanted to find a cache with a CO with a 9 in the title for a challenge cache. This was the one I targetted.
I had orgainised myself a route that included puzzles that I had worked out before leaving home & a few other on the way to pick up point.
We returned home vis the gourmet run.
Thanks for placing this cache South49

Picking up a few caches while travelling south to Victoria. After our second overnight stay - in Canberra last night - we head towards Merrijig in Victoria for a week. Naturally we planned to geocache along the way.
Apart from a short walk after parking nearby, it was almost a park and grab!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 5.05pm on 15th November 2017. TFTC. South49

Day four away with my kayak, but today there was no paddling on the cards. Today was about the Warbys. Once back in town, I had a little bit of time for a couple more caches before calling it quits. Found this one nice and easy.
My thanks to South49 & WHS Yr 9 CLC students for the cache.

A short stroll from the car, a likely looking hiding spot spotted on approach and a container in our hands in seconds made for an easy fun find. Thanks South49 & WHS Yr 9 CLC students for placing this series.
Suscoe was out and about early today to enjoy what turned out to be a stunning Spring day.
Sun often, Cloud on occasions and a brisk wind that waxed and waned throughout the day.
We had a good time following the various cache placements today around Wangaratta.
Thanks to South 49 and the yr9's for this hide.
Nice a dry here today.

Greetings from Adelaide. We are over in Wang visiting relatives for the holidays and grabbing a few caches too.
Today Mr Tardis was out on a caching bike run with Mini Tardis. We had a nice bike ride along the river trail and had fun finding the various cache hides.

Geofamily trip to Victoria... Cool!
Mrs Moneydork, Moneydork, sushilord and I left Friday morning for a 4 day jaunt over the border to find a cache or two
Two nights in Wangaratta and then a night in Bendigo left me with 10 DNFs and 205 cache finds one of which was a FTF
Day 3 was Wangaratta to Bendigo as there is a particular wool mill there that geomum loves to visit [^] As with any family, when geo mum is happy... everyone else is [^]
Todays DNFs numbered 1 and the finds numbered 66 with some interesting caches and experiences amongst them.... not the least of them being me falling off of the walk the plank cache At least I found a PT there to make up for the fall
A nice area in this wetlands and it's made even better to visit by having geocaches here for us to find
We didn't leaf you, at all

The geofamily are off on another trip to Mexico. Fun, sore backsides (for some) and Dad getting the geomobile stuck and breaking his bike, TWICE were the highlights of the trip. One of the running jokes for the trip was 'If it's 2.5T it's laying on the ground, if it's 2.5D it's under that pile of rocks or in the open, if it's listed as large we are looking for an eclipse tin' which came about due to a number of early finds. The lasting memory from this trip will be the grass seeds!!!
We attempted the three caches here with two hits and one strike. This was a hit. A lovely area. I was tasked with finding this one, the challenge was to find the way in. A creepy hide.

After being down in Wangaratta visiting Dad a couple of the local caches were attempted before heading back home. This one was probably the closest to Illoura, so it was the first of the day.
Parking at the start of the walking trail meant the trek to GZ was a relatively short one, but plenty of attention was made to looking out for wriggling sticks along the way. Galen College had a couple of marquees set up nearby, but I'm not sure what they were planning to do there.
The co-ordinates were very good, and even though a likely hiding position was evident from a distance, it was great to know that a short search would be required because of them. The cache was soon found in good condition, and we decided to leave the Grandchildren TB here for future finders to move on.
SL at 12 noon. A lovely spot to visit. TFTC South49 and Wang. High School Year 9 CLC's.

We loved the walk through this park and took in all there sights along the way. We had a cheeky little bird show us the way along the track before we turned off and crossed the grass to GZ. Once there we found the container in good order.

#1537 Final find in the trio of caches as we return towards the geogolf. Max the geohound sniffed out a hare en route to the cache which caused a bit of excitement, but hare won the race. The cache was located by Mrs BGF before too long after a bit of a scratch in its well hidden location. The chill in the air is getting quite noticeable by this time, no doubt the temp will plummet well below 0 again tonight. Back home to the wood fire for us now, thanks for the fun and exercise South49 and students.
Went for a walk in this lovely bushland area, we thought the area was stunning.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Took trackable, to move it on.
Many thanks for placing this cache, South49, for us and others to find.

After meeting half the geocaching population of Wangaratta at the Travel Show, BettyBoo3747 and I decided to do a few of our outstanding caches along the river.
We knew where to park for this one having collected the earlier cache from the wetlands. Found a familiar geocaching mobile at the car park.
GZ was a stand out object seen from the car. It does beg the question, if this is just above the high water mark - how much water do they get here? Luckily we were here in the dry time.
Thanks, Robmc.

We had to drop something off to our daughter, Beavar, who lives out this way and cajoled her into coming to find the two new ones in the Wetlands near her home. Parked the geoCruiser at the beginning of the Phillipson St. walkway and headed off into the Wetlands together. It is very dry in here at the moment, but we have seen the water almost up to the roadway over winter. There are plenty of grand old trees here to be admired and we found a few more bird boxes on our walk today. Obviously there are more ongoing works planned for this area. Found the cache easily and SL at 2.15pm with Beavar. TNLN #2777 TFTC South49

After finishing late at work, I pulled into my driveway and saw the notifications arrive on my phone as I was reaching for the key. Hoping my wife had not noticed me arriving home, I immediately reversed out and made a beeline for GZ.
Thankfully there were no cameras this time, my search was made in private and was over quickly.
