Went to get my target cache for today and was passing another cache along the way. Well I thought but did not find. Even rang a friend to get some clarity. Yep it’s not here sorry
I was in the area doing a lab cache and decided to pick up a few smileys on the way home..I enjoyed the walk to gz and looked in a few spots before I spotted this cache. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Found while staying at Toowong for the week, heading out to find a few nearby caches for the day. Thanks for the cache Essman009!

Today had a particular goal in mind, which involved a rather old cache just past here, amongst others. But of course when one heads to particular caches, there are always other caches along the way to be found too. And Fangsoki happened to mention this one as we approached, my mind of course being on the other prize.
Taking on board this distraction, it was time to stop and see what I could find. Of course I made it harder than necessary by ignoring the bleeding obvious and paying more attention to where my phone wanted to put me. But soon enough a check there had to be done and the rather noticeable cache found.
Thanks for the cache Essman009.

Found on the ground but not sure where it would have been, so left in same position.
Out caching with geocaching friends before the Uni event. Picking up caches as we go.

Brugo78 and Blackpearl in town, time for some great caching.
After some circles, we finally parked for this one and the nearby oldie.
Shady walk still cool from the AC and our frozen drinks
All good with the cache.
Thanks for the cache hide

Down from Townsville with BlackPearl26 for some work training earlier in the week and meeting up with our mate Karicka today to start the real work - finding some high terrain and old caches.
Before picking the old one further along the track we made the quick find here. Once we found the access path.

Down from Townsville. Exploring Brisbane with karicka and burgo78. Thanks for the hide.
The hint gave me the right area to look in & boom, there she was quick find! TFTC
Easy find .. but a lovely walk to get to it. Who knew this path was there?! TFTC
Walked around in circles looking for this cache. Resorted to the hint and then quickly had the cache in hand. Found in a spot I had given only a quick glance at.
Wish I had my GCing bag with me to fill this up with swaps. I did however remove the lighter not sure that’s a great swap in a cache.
Lovely walk to get here.

Last time I was in the area was severely muggled out. It appears a muggle CITO event was in full swing, with rubbish removed and plantings a plenty. This time all that was encountered were mutts leading their muggle owners around at the end of a leash.
The hint was spot on as I spotted the container tucked away as I approached GZ. Timed the extraction better than a dentist emptying my wallet. Thanks for maintaining this cache Essman009.

Visited with esken6 and esken7. The hint certainly helped, allowing esken6 to be the one who spotted the cache. We replaced it carefully.
With esken6 and RMJAH, we walked this trail and were delighted to find this cache. Thanks for the great hint, and thanks for the cache.
Team StopTheWorld have nearly finished all the requirements for "An Elementary Challenge", and the GC code for this cache would be one of the last required to finish the challenge, so we chose it especially for that reason!
Daughter-in-law and son were caching with me today, as Mr STW was back in Malaysia. We parked at the far end of the walk and left my son resting with a headache in the car, and the two girls headed out to look for two caches on this stretch.
We found a bridgespot that fitted the clue, and we searched, and searched- and searched- but could not find a cache anywhere. After a recent update, the GPS in my phone has become really unreliable, and wasn't giving a decent signal at all, but we'd only passed one thing fitting the description, so we figured we were at the right place. Eventually we decided to give up the search, and started walking back towards the car. Not far back up the track, dil made an observation that proved to be very helpful. Not exactly what I was expecting, but now we were on the right track, the find was simple. In fact, dil saw the cache as she was walking and looking down!
The good news is, my phone has been repaired and the GPS is working again! Enough frustration and time wasted! This find would have been easy with a working GPS. Thanks of rmaintaining this cache.

As we were walking back out of this area, we paused here for the view…nah not really, we paused here for the plastic. Looking at the size of this cache in the description we were pretty sure we knew where we needed to look.
Venturing over we were able to see it just peeking out, well that made it a little bit easier. No one was around so we had plenty of privacy to add our name and hide it a little better. Time to head back to the car and work out where we are headed next along with locating a banana.

Today my sister jomapper87 was with me and so we had a nice time picking up a few caches. After picking up a nearby puzzle cache we found this one. Great views here and such a lovely walk. TFTC
TFTC. Saw a group of blokes putting on the previous green and their form made me worried that I would cop a hooked drive while searching this path. Sounds like they all made the fairway though. Nice big container which is a bit forlornly empty, and I’m afraid I’m only here on a morning jog with literally nothing to add. Hopefully someone will bring some swag soon! Cheers
Continuing on my little jaunt, i soon arrived at this tranquil spot and dug around foolishly until i thought to read the cache page, then a word stood out and i was soon signing a huge cache thats practically treasure less! Some of the tiny ones around are jam packed and then there's this beauty begging for booty! So i did what any nice cacher would do, and dropped the only thing i had on me to fill up the gaps. Alas, this little red duck is pint sized. Oh well. Safe travels wrathey! (i.e. I dropped a trackable in)
Thanks for placing a cache here in this remarkable stretch of scenery. Well done.
This is find 732! And i found it at four odd pm.

Knowing that my wife and kid were over caching for the weekend, I purposely picked a cache we would have to walk to and of course walk back past this one. The devilish things and lies you have to tell your family to chase the plastic.
We were hoping it wasn't far off the path and luckily I spied it quickly while everyone else was searching afar. Naturally everyone was happy that we could finally be on our way home after spending a weekend in Toowoomba.
Signing the log, I noticed that clearly some kids had found the cache and left some rather rude but cute words in it. I took a photo of it, hoping to include it with this log but my wife said, "you can't put swear words in a log". I thought I would heed her advice and posed for a cleaner photo instead. tftc

Quick find and nice walk with the kids and a cousin. There were a few trackables in the cache. Hopefully I logged them properly and have taken the moose to move along.
Nice walk to find this cache but oh my knees don't like this Terrain but all good in the end. Arrived at GZ and wasn't sure where I was going to look so continued on to get another cache and get this on return journey. Quickly found at GZ after I thought about it and really second place I looked. Signed and replaced as found. TFTC
What a lovely walk! Tonnes of birdie onlookers but safe from the human kind, found this lovely big cache and signed + swaps. Thanks - love to find a cache big enough for BookCrossing, I'll be back!
TFTC. The choice was to shop at the Indo or do something else. Not a hard choice for me I decided to pick up a few caches!!! A pleasant wander along the bank of the Brisbane River and the log was soon signed with cache back in its hide location.
Thanks Essman009 for placing the cache.
Thanks Essman009 for placing the cache.
It was a stinking hot day today so we decided to make good use of the dirt track and drove to GZ, well within reason anyway.
Wow this is a great little hidden area, which I'm sure as those empty blocks back down the track fill up, will get used a whole lot more. We were surprised how quickly we found it, HWD filled it up with some swaps as we signed in then we were off.
Great view of the Brissie river down here, cheers Essman

Quick easy find on a stinking hot day....added some swaps to an empty container. Tftc
Headed along the river with some nice cooling breezes off the water.
Arrived at GZ for a quick find.
Signed the log and returned to where I found it.

Went for a nice pre - Christmas walk. Went straight past it on my first go. Walked back actually looking at my phone. Very nice easy find. Took the travel bug. Will move it somewhere tonight
Found it in the first place I looked. Lovely detour from bike path on my way cycling home. Never knew these walking tracks existed - have driven past SO many times. And this spot is close by to the golf course where we had our wedding reception in 2002. So thought it was a great place to "drop off" my first trackable. I am Brisbane born & bred (there are fewer & fewer of us here now), found trackable in Mt Tamborine so decided to bring it back to Brisbane.
This was our first family geocaching outing. My six year old found it in a place we've walked past dozens of times before. Very cool. My kids signed the log.
Quick find, I love it along the river here, such a shame to have moved away! Tftc
We were over thinking this one and taking longer than we should when a lovely dog walking muggle passes by; "Oh have you lost something?!" Quick thinking; "Yep, lost my ring... but it's not worth very much (on seeing her about to hop down from the path to help with the hunt!). Finally found, TNLNSL, TFTC
At first i thought it would be off the track but was actually much simpler than i thought
Quick hunt today for our eclectic gang of Fangsoki, Captain Terror and Radnoski whilst we were passing by.
Thanks for placing this cache, Essman009. Found in good condition.

Pprime, Radnoski, Captain Terror, and I all met up to tackle a couple of caches in the area.
Turns out only two of us hadn't done this one. We made our way toward GZ and I had an idea where this one was going to be. I made the dive and soon had the cache in hand. It was in good condition. We signed the log and re-hid it as found.
A lovely little area to visit. TFTC Essman009

Went for a walk after work today and collected this. The track was actually quite busy at that time, so not many birds around making sounds. TFTC.
Out and about with Blake during a bit of a school holiday break. We were in search of some old caches scattered around the Brisbane area.
We were grabbing the 14 year old cache that was nearby..... and as they say.... it would be rude not to grab this one as we wandered back past.
Blake had a shot at signing the log book. He has had a bit of practice during the first couple of months of school.
Thanks for the cache Essman009.

Lovely walk with the dog and kids and twinm from Canada. Enjoying looking at the wee homes across the river.
today's Thursday playday with rio consists of coffee with bubba 89, a cemetery, a big bridge, a HUGE uni campus and a golf course ...
stopped by this one while re-visiting some puzzles in the area
co-ords were over 10m out for us today
but used the hint

What a lovely walk! We didn't find many birds, but we did find a couple of mozzies It took us a little while to find this one - didn't help that I got a work phone call while searching - it's quite distracting trying to sound professional on the phone while digging around in the bush . TFTC Essman009 - all is good at GZ.
It's so nice along this walk. We can hear many more birds than we can see.
Found the cache in good condition.
Thanks heaps Essman009.
