We noticed this has not been logged for several months and decided to have a go when passing by this afternoon. GPS reading seemed quite decisive and we found what might have been part of the container but it was torn and empty.

Finally back this way and was able to reverse my previous DNF. I'm not sure how I missed it last time as I'm sure I checked this spot - geo-blindess is a real affliction. All safe and dry, TFTC.

Day #1 of our four day caching trip to Palmerston North. As it's the first time back in several years, there are heaps of new caches to find Smile.
After attending this mornings event, and checking into our accommodation, we decided to head out west to the cache dense area of various trails. This afternoon it was all about the numbers.
The bush looked a bit daunting, but luckily the cache was a quick find. An interesting container. TFTC.

Out with D6 targeting regular caches to build up his stats and picking off a few bonus caches that were in the nearby vacinities.

Stopped for this one but gave up fairly quickly due to rain. Noted its a tricky hide and didn't fancy getting drenched.

Another day perhaps.

Cheers

Hunted for a while, and found lots of trash items, but nothing that chimed. Maybe another day.

Did a quick stitch in time and all ok for now..

18-Sep-16
Outer container needs either replacement or some needlework.

17-Sep-16
It wasn't really the sort of day that I should have been out geocaching but I enjoyed it regardless. I didn't find this cache immediately but I was encouraged by mention of accurate coordinates in previous logs. I persevered and found the neatly hidden cache. Unfortunately, the other end of the outer part is no longer in good order and I feared the cache could end up somewhere from which it could be difficult to retrieve. I left it in a safer place but where I expect it will not be seen by muggles. Hopefully, the cache owner is able to effect some repairs to restore this cache to its former glory.

10-Sep-16
A good day out for a drive, and some caching. Sunny, but wind a little cool.

After completing the Rotorua Tough Guys & Girls Challenge in the weekend and then having to drive south for work on sunday this was going to be one of those very long weeks. So without rest and having to do presentations all day to a number of different groups today I managed to get ahead of things and make time for myself to find a few caches before the night set in.
This was the first of the afternoon so made it all the better as could get some local caches now and worry about work later on, but now its caching time.
This made for a nice quick find in a well protected area left a TB for the next cacher

Thanks for the placement and the fun

Finally got around to looking for this again. First visit I couldn't find it. Next two times I drove past there were workmen at the site. This time all was clear and there was very little traffic also. I saw the cache container as I drove up to GZ as it was lying out in the open. Cache was replaced where I think it should be, certainly less than 20cm from the original location if I didn't get it quite right. Thanks for the hide haydn.seek

being that I didnt want to play paintball today I thought some more caching could be in order with kaleb, travelled from feilding to palmy to foxton to palmy to ashurst and back to palmy and then onto home for one last cache - this was a rather quick cache to grab and not much traffic around even better, added swag and placed back tftc

[green] At last I have time to do some caching in my home town. After turning for a few days, then heading off to Rotorua and Opotiki for Christmas with the family. At long last I am back here, with a little time to dedicate to... me! Hired a car (I'm really going to need it tomorrow) so doing some running around in town, mopping up some of the new caches. Alas I was working off my cellphone, which doesn't cope well in very bright sunlight, so i ended up parking in the wrong place, 40m away. the road dropped down quite steep, probably had the car on a 20-30 degree slope. Someone behind pulled up and said "Are you all right? I saw you go past the intersection and end up in the ditch!" I said I was fine. Nice of them to stop and check up! Found the cache alright (working off the cellphone) but missed spotting its namesake. Thanks for the hide! Hope people still can find my Noname #1 underneath it (underneath on the map, that is) Smile

Over in Palmy for the last of the Xmas shopping with Mrs skindo, I wasn't required for an hour or so, so what better to do than go and find a few caches. I was happy with the 15 I found in about and hour and a half.

This cache was a quick find in the first place I looked, thanks for the cache hadyn-seek-nz-wil677

Tidying up a few caches over this side of Palmy. A busy road, but with good parking, no one was paying us too much attention.
Left a pet rock - a hedgehog. TFTC

18-Nov-14
An effective hide - quite difficult to get time to ourselves - a busy intersection. The wind chimes would have been tangled and blown away in the strong winds here today, as Mrs G nearly was while she tried to complete the proceedings! TFTC

17-Nov-14
I cycled past here on Saturday, but I didn't realise that there was a geocache here until today.
This afternoon I was nearby with some spare time, so I popped over to have a look.
Found after a short search.
Thanks.

17-Nov-14
Didn't take too long to find the cache but fast moving muggles kept appearing from all directions. Finally managed to grab the logbook during a lull in traffic but I noticed that there was a muggle across the road at his letter box as I returned to the car to sign the log - not sure if I was seen as the car would have partly obscured me. Managed to replace the cache without anybody in sight but had only taken a few steps away from the hide before more vehicles appeared. TFTC.

14-Nov-14
An early evening park and grab for a easy find. Thanks for the cache.
